This is going to be a little tough, But ill try. They have video wires too, focusing one main storyline. Ill go through the roster, of who i can think of and what they are doing now.


Nigel Mcguiness: The ROH Champ, his run started off a little slow, but since he's defeated most of the roster. His rivial is Bryan Danielson.

Bryan Danielson: He must beat everyone Nigel has beaten, in order to get a title shot.

Roderick Strong: The FIP Champ, (sister organization) He has recently turned face when Davey Richards left Rodericks group (the NRC, no remorse corp) for Chris Hero's and Larry Sweeney's Group Sweet n Sour.

Chris Hero - Top Dog in Sweet in Sour. He's serious now

Adam Pearce - new member to Sweet n Sour. He's the NWA champ.

Brent ALbright - Just left Sweet and Sour, turned face.

CLaudio Castagnoli - Chasing the belt, lost to Nigel about 6 weeks ago.

Kevin Steen + El Generico - Steen promised everyone in ROH he would hold gold around his waist in 08. No luck so far, within inches of the tag straps. Recently lost a title shot to nigel as well. Steen has one of the best records this year. Generico is kinda floating around at the moment.

Briscoes - Mark is injuried. Jay is in singles action.

Age of the Fall - Just won the tag championships. EVeryone is gunning for them. Jimmie Jacobs in the spirtual leader. Tyler Black is the "young gun" at 21, they also have Joey Matthew (mercury) and zach gowen, sometimes. Lacey is missing. And the Necro Butcher. The most hardcore guy in ROH.

Austin Aries - Fueding with Jimmie Jacobs, leader of AOTF over Lacey. It took years for Jimmie to finally get with Lacey, soon after he got with her, austin stole her away. Oddly enough, austin is still the face. Everyone seems to hate Jimmie Jacobs, but some still love him. So now, the fued is just starting off, and lacey is still missing. We think Jacobs kidnapped her back. Main fued going on right now.

Davey Richards - Left NRC for Sweet and Sour (heels)

Rocky Romero - In the middle of Roderick and davey (nrc and SnS) Not sure which way he's swaying.

Erick STevens - Just finished a big fued with Roderick Strong.

Delirous - Trying to hook up with Daisey Hayes, but Rhett Titus keeps cock blocking.

Rhett "addicted to love" Titus - The new Rick Rude or Val Venis. He's awesome.

Jigsaw & Ruckus - the vulture squad. Jigsaw recently started a fued with Eddie Kingston, not sure if he's full time in ROH. Basically Kingston is mad Jig stole Ruckus from Kingstons BLK OUT group in another Indy.

MCMG - Legends of ROH. Recently lost to Age of the Fall, But beat the briscoes to tie that series at 1-1. I'd assume they would either have their Rubber match vs. Briscoes in Virginia, OR AOTF/MCMG rematch.

Thats the bulk of storylines. If you read the newswire and videos, it keeps you updated.

ok, so August first ROH will in Manassas, Virginia and i plan to go. Now can someone please catch me up on storyline cause i have no way to watch ROH and my mom wont let me get the DVDs

that's good for you to watch some ROH, I'm sure that you won't be diappointed. MCMG are going to be on the show, so it should be a pretty good show. Last time they had the VA/NY double shot, it looked like the VA show was better.

I just watched Final Battle 2007, and I've got to say that I was kinda dissapointed with the DVD. What are your thoughts on it?

It was kind of disappointing because Nigel didn't defend, but the rest of the card was solid. The title change was nice and the match itself was very good. Rising Above was the day before, and it was a better show, because it was a PPV.

I liked Final Battle 2007, but I agree that it was disappointing. Final Battle usually has one or two great matches. Briscoes vs KoW in 07 along with Homicide vs Danielson. FB 05 had KENTA vs Low-Ki.

2007 had some good matches, but it didn't have that one great match that stood out above the rest (That includes the tag-title match). I think it comes down to what Headfirst said.. Due to the PPV taping, they couldn't put on that great match at Final Battle.

Yeah, i agree with SP, it was a solid good show, but their wasn't anything out of this world good. Had three matches close or better than four stars. Some storylines and good matches to start the show. I don't think it was a top 5 of 07 dvd though.

he comes across as a hippie to me, did you see the Respect Is Earned II Pictures?

Aries does come across as the heel for stealing Lacey from Jacobs, but in storyline you could say that Jacobs was the one that hooked the two up. And Jacobs now comes across as the creepy kid that's trying to get back at Aries.

Lol, yeah. I mean, couldn't ROH find a picture that didn't look... funky?

Its not just that Aries stole Jimmy's girl, its also that he rubbed it in his face pretty much everytime he could. Then there's also the fact that he's telling Necro not to follow Jacobs, but basically, Austin wants Necro to do HIS bidding (Necro beating down Jacobs for Aries).

Maybe that's part of the point, for the fans to choose who they think is right and wrong, but the way I see it, Jimmy is the good guy in this feud.

Yeah, I've thought about this too. Im rooting for JImmy as well. Im very surprised by the amount of people backing Aries in this fued. (by crowd reaction) Aries is trying to act like some player, and it doesnt come across right to me. I wonder when/if Lacey is coming back

i am a new fan to ROH. i have seen 2 video wires and i dont really know many names. to get a better knowledge of ROH i read the new beginners guide. who is your favourite ROH wrestler and why?

Heres the video roster. This should help, although it is a bit dated, but most are still around, except the ones in wwe/tna. Guys they left off:

Age of the Fall ( JImmie Jacobs, Tyler Black and Necro Butcher )

Lots of videos of these guys online. The anti establishment faction that is starting a revolution. Jimmie is the leader, he is similar to the old raven. Tyler Black is a young star who's only 21 and has been main eventing shows. Necro Butcher is your hardcore guy.

Kevin Steen + El Generico

These guys took 2007 by storm by having argueably the best fued all year with the briscoes. Steen has had a few title shots, but has either been screwed or lost. El Generico has yet to recieve a shot.

Erick Stevens

Brought up from FIP, where he just won the championship saturday. He came up with austin aries and they parted ways. Stevens has beaten some of the top names in ROH. He's probably the main powerhouse.

Thats about all the main main guys. There is a few lower card guys that are more part time.

As far as marfuji goes, he's one of my favorites. Seeing him vs generico live was awesome, and probably one of the best matches i've ever seen live. The only problem i have with marifuji is that they haven't booked him well. He's had some good matches it seems, but nothing great. Him and Aries could probably put on a 5 star match.
