thats right folks..hogan announced that there might be a possibility of him making his own wrestling federation..

here are the excerpts from his interview:

Hulk Hogan has always made it clear that used steroids when he was active in wrestling. In a recent interview with Simon Rothstein of The Sun Online, Hogan made his opinions clear about some things.
“I remember up until the early 1990s any wrestler could walk into a doctor and they’d write you a prescription for steroids.â€￾
Hogan said that he used to use steroids, but not to the amount that he’s heard of people using it.
He also dropped a bombshell about starting his own wrestling promotion.
“I have been speaking to people from the American television networks and other important people in LA. In the first two weeks they raised $40 million. I need about $80-100 million to start it up. If me and my partners pull it off then the wrestlers will have a more natural look and an easier schedule - all of the things people are saying the business needs. And then Vince McMahon and everyone else in the business will have to follow suit.â€￾
Will The Hulkster start his own promotion?

I like his last statement. "And then Vince McMahon and everyone else in the business will have to follow suit" He's already assuming that his fed will be the top dawg. Already higher then ROH,TNA,and somehow ahead of WWE itself. lol He's pretty confident it seems. Only thing I would ask is who would wrestle for him. I think alot of the top indy guys are already signed to contracts between ROH,TNA,and WWE. I'm sure bischoff is helping him out though, along with Jimmy Hart. But I also thought they tried something like this years back.

If he does start it then It'll get hype for it to start up cos it is Hogan. I think Show might do a few matches perhaps?

With WWE, TNA is rising and ROH, I don't see how this is a good idea!

hogan is smart when it comes to money,he won't throw caution to the wind.If he starts a promotion it will be a calculated risk. But unless he has the backing of a billionaire like turner he won't be challenging wwe.i think hogan is trying to invest into something that will generate a sure and comfortable income for him and his family.I don't think he really cares about toppling wwe, that was eric bischoff's obsession

It's the wrestlers which seem to be a problem, it seems. Who could he get? TNA took most of the WWE's previous talent so, who?

This is actually a really good idea, and it was even better when he thought of it like 15 years ago. He could of made his own organization with 3/4's of what nitro was back in the day. But i still like the idea, and i believe Hogan can pull it off. I dont see it being a huge sucess, due to every organization having signed with talent, but i could see this as more of a legends organization. What i mean, a handful of legends mixed in with some younger guys. Don't be surprised if Sid, Big Show, Scot Hall, X Pac, and a few other veterns mix in with some youngs guys. Probably Hogans son adn daughter, and HOrace HOgan would be apart in some way. Hogan can easily get them a tv deal, and i think it would be similar to the golden era of wrestling. The only problem i see, is a lack of younger stars. So hogan just needs to shut up and do it.

Im not saying the product will be great, but something fun and entertaining.
