This isn't as much news as it is assumptive reporting. Who knows if Punk decides to epically turn heel by cashing in his MITB after Cena beats Edge? That makes better business sense than wasting another Edge title reign in such a hasty manner and it creates another top heel that smackdown desperately needs. Remember how over Edge got by cashing in his shot against Edge? I mean how much more over can Punk get as a face by being the 9th guy to give Edge another short reign as compared to the heat he'd undoubtedly get by turning on the company's top guy? Worked wonders for Edge and when Punk cashed in last year against the same guy it was just kind of "meh".
lol judging from Raw last night if Punk cashed it in on Cena and won he'd be the top face in the WWE.
But really if they wanted to have Punk turn heel and cash it in on Cena, that could easly lead up to an Edge/Punk fued. Edge could complain how it's Punk's fault that he lost and how it should of be Edge pinning Cena, blah,blah,blah,ect,ect.
But due to Jericho's promo last night he's obviosly not going to be getting a face turn anytime soon so I most likely see Edge and Jericho working together in some way, shape, or form with Punk screwing up their plans.
