Have CM Punk either carry the title till Mania 26 or have him lose it and then win it back before Mania. Have Cena get the title shot by winning the Rumble and choose Punk saying, he had to wait a whole year to challenge for his belt again. And the way Punk has carried it has been a disgrace. Build a fued between them from Rumble to Mania based on one act of cowardace as Cena could call it from a year ago.

To be fair that's not even a spoiler, that's just Meltzer's opinion. He says 'pretty much guarantees'. I thought that immediately after the draft, but the WWE have swerved us a few times in recent months (think Jericho winning the title at Unforgiven, think Edge returning to win the title at Survivor Series) so the more I think about that, the more I think Punk could get involved.

Why does everyone assume that whoever cashes MITB in will win? WWE might try to swerve one of these days. Either Punk will lose MITB to someone, or he will lose when he cashes in MITB.

CM Punk will call out Cena and challenge him at Judgment Day using the MITB. It's pointless to give the title back to Edge. He is dwindling and has reached an all time low as a main event. He doesn't deserve the belt.

I agree with XBA, Edge is starting to dwindle down and I think he may only have one more World Title reign before his career ends. But for Backlash, Orton takes the WWE Title, and Cena retains the World Title.

I like the idea of Punk turning heel on Cena, but think about it realistically. Bot Edge and JEricho are now on Smackdown, there would be no room for Punk. On the face side of things, there's only really Jeff and the Deadman, who'll probably disappear sometime soon anyway.
