2/3 Falls Match

Who doesn't love mini wrestling? The United States apparently, where little people are literally just jokes in the eyes of wrestling promoters. Despite this, I'm still yet to watch a minis match in this thread that I didn't like. Let's hope this doesn't disappoint.
I find it interesting, as they do the introductions, that the only one with "Mascara" in his name has lost his mask. Damiancito el Guerrero is Virus, whom we've seen before. We start off with Bracito against Pierrothito. We get a bit of mixed limbwork, with Pierrothito putting his height advantage out there and targeting Bracito's legs, while Bracito grounds Pierrothito to work the arms. Bracito pulls off one of those really nice high-angle size-difference armdrags you get in minis matches, followed by a dropkick to the face which Pierrothito sells by toppling like a redwood.
Now it's Damiancito against Cicloncito. Fierito mounts the ropes as if he's going to springboard over, but just watches like these two are his gladiators fighting for his amusement. Damiancito is so smooth, everything flows right together. He does a really interesting pin attempt where Cicloncito seems to be giving him a monkey flip, but Damiancito deadweights him and gets his shoulders down for two. Next up a short bit of Magica vs. Fierito, where Fierito tries to bring the brawling but can't handle Magica's agility. Cicloncito open-hands both of the non-legal rudos off the apron, so Damiancito slaps him down in return. Following that, a good old-fashioned "hit your teammate who is holding your opponent" spot. Two, in fact! Damiancito has to explain to his angry teammates what just happened, but it was good enough apparently, as they both cut the tecnicos off so they can't break up the first fall.
Second fall kicks off (despite the commentary team thinking it's the third fall) and it's Cicloncito vs. Pierrothito. Pierrothito's really selling his tailbone after a headscissors - if he's hurt, flying through the ropes and eating shit back-first on the floor (as he does right after) surely will not help. Bracito slides Damiancito out, and looks like he's about to do a dive, but changes his mind and just tags in Magica. Magica gets up on the corner to bash Fierito and Damiancito's heads together, then the tecnicos start a 3-on-1 assault on Pierrothito (which seems backwards). Magica really puts his face into the resulting tope suicida. I actually looked up the circumstances of how he'd lost his mask before I started the match, and I found this gif from the match where he lost it.
Fuck me, that's what I call a suicide dive. Anyway, both the other tecnicos do dives also, and there's a bit where no one is in the ring until Magica and Pierrothito get back in. Magica locks both arms for a pretty quick submission and the second fall.
Third fall now. Magica wears down Fierito for a bit, but then Damiancito comes in and starts to dominate Magica. Pierrothito tries to do the "duck under a running opponent" for Cicloncito, who stops and puts him in a camel clutch! He then gets a seated surfboard with a foot to the back, and Pierrothito really has to fight out of it! Bracito then makes Fierito look like a bit of a fool, giving the full run-around to a man a head taller. The match then descends into chaos, bodies everywhere. Magica has Damiancito in a long octopus hold but Fierito tosses Bracito into him to break it up! Seems Fierito gets the third fall on Bracito but it's not clear why he didn't. Maybe Bracito's toe was slightly on the outside or something.
Cicloncito goes for a running inverted Gory Special which doesn't seem to do anything. Pierrothito gets a LONG distance on a crossbody to the outside! Back down to Magica and Damiancito, the latter's flying forearm getting two. Damiancito attempts a hurricanrana pin but Magica counters into a sitout pin for two! Then Damiancito rolls him up for the third fall!
Really nice match. Not going to be the best match on the wheel - felt oddly low-stakes and there were some weak points particularly when Fierito was in the ring - but even more proof that minis can put on fun encounters.
