Hulk's Twitter said:
“Dixie Carter and I have heard your feedback. @ImpactWrestling X-Division matches will be one-on-one. Tune in to @SpikeTV Thursday 9/8c HHâ€￾

They made the change in March where all X-Division matches were now triple threat matches. They also added this new rule that whoever was pinned in an X-Division title match was eliminated and the other two would remain for the next title match. It ended up being more confusing that it had to be and making every single X-Division match simply didn't work. Good to see them reverse the rule and make it one on one matches again.

Should have never been introduced so I guess I'm glad to hear this. It just led to some horribly, sloppy spotfests that were hard to watch. If you are gonna have a triple threat match, it's gotta at least look important.

Surprised they even announced this, assumed they'd just forget about it and quietly change it.

Me and Cwalker was making fun of this in the Impact thread, and I fully expect all X-Division matches to be 4-ways come December.

Guess we know which division will see the most roster cuts.

I still think you're onto something lol.

The rule was dumb in general. Especially when you had to win a Triple Threat to earn a spot in another Triple Threat. By like I said in the impact thread, I'm sure by the end of the year management will think of another way to "revolutionize" the business and change the rules again

They only just signed Manik to a full time deal, even though he was already champion, so I doubt there are many x-division guys on deals to cut.

I never understood that qualifying rule either, made the whole thing more complicated than it needed to be. It was cool to see some old names back for those matches but that was it.

I still don't understand why they had to be triple threat matches to begin with. Oh well, TNA is doing something smart.

CONSPIRACY

They did the 3-way thing to make us hate it on purpose so they could change it in a few months so it looks like they made an improvement by listening to the fans 8D

I think if they wanted us to really care about the division again they'd bring back guys like Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams full time instead of this part time crap. Sonjay Dutt was probably one of the more talented X Division guys. Would be nice to see him as a focal point of the group again. Wouldn't mind seeing Daniels back in the X Division also.

TNA doesn't give a shit about the X-division, just a place to put youngboys who are not a priority and guys they have nothing for at that moment. They don't even have decent storylines.
