Well i'm gonna try another BtB. The first time I did Florés Family Wrestling it was pretty popular, but my semester was hell and I had to abandon it. Then when I brought it back it just tanked, lol. Maybe the fact that it had been done already killed it? Oh well, hopefully this idea will be as well received as my first incarnation of FFW.

---------------

Women’s Wrestling Revolution

The 21st century gave birth to a demand to a complete retooling of women’s wrestling. The strip matches and pillow fights were out, and hardcore wrestling was in. Elvira Becker, who could best be described as an eccentric rich girl with a sixth sense for playing the stock market, capitalized on this by starting the WWR, and contacted the top female wrestlers of the day. Through a combination of company negotiations, royalty payments, very lenient contracts, and a promise to never ever have the superstars degrade themselves for the enjoyment of the men in the audience, Elvira was able to quickly gain an impressive roster. WWR took off with the promise of providing a show that was only different from WWE and TNA in the genders of the main-eventers.

Well i'm only just getting into the indy promotions so I don't know much about Sara Del Ray. I hear she's good so i'll probably bring her in after I watch some of her matches.

Sounds like a good BTB. If you ever need new talent I'd recommend that you look into Sara Del Ray and Lacey.

I dont know if many would like the idea of all women shows. But if you can make it work then good for u.

I agree with HFH and comicgeekelly, Sara Del Ray is pretty much a dead cert for a womens only show and Lacey should be brought in if you want a tag division since she is in tag team with RAIN(they are Minnesota Homewrecking Crew)

You should really watch alot of SHIMMER for this since they are a all women promotion

Me being a fan of the WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts, would like nothing more than to see this succeed. I can see the stigma in creating a purely Women's Wrestling BTB, but do not let it deter you from doing so. I wish you the best of luck, and may this thread prosper.

Well in my time here I have seen a few of these all women BTB's come and go. But I hope this one succeeds with the success TNA is having with it I think if you take it seriously it will work out great. I wish you best of luck and I will be reviewing.

I enjoy womens wrestling and not just for the eye candy! But for wrestling aswell! Now WWE are taking the womens division very seriously. And personally think TNAs womens division is the best out of the two companies. If you can keep it up I will be reviewing.

Yeah, I need to watch more indy shows to fill out the roster. Until then, the tag titles will probably be on hold.

----------------------------------------

The show opens to a sold out crowd of about 5,000.

“Welcome to the first ever airing of the Women’s Wrestling Revolution!” Michael Cole said. “I’m Michael Cole, alongside the lovely Sharmell, and Sharmell, I gotta say, I’m feeling rather out of place here.”
“That’s because you are.” Sharmell replied. “You’re only here because none of the women play-by-play commentators were up to Elvira’s standards. This is a real promotion, not something for men to gawk at, so we’ll have no sexual remarks aimed at the girls here. Got it?”
“Alright, alright!” Cole said. “C’mon, when have I been known to do that? You’re treating me like I’m Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler!”
“He’s not even allowed near the building.” Sharmell said.
Cole laughed uneasily. “Well that’s a smart move.”

”Let’s see what you got!” Blared a female voice from the speakers, followed by a remix of Crash Anthem’s Biggest Letdown.

Elvira Becker appeared at the entrance ramp and waved to everyone as she walked down and entered the ring.

“Welcome, one and all, to the Women’s!! Wrestling!! REVOLUTIIIOOONNNNNN!!!” Elvira screamed into the mic, bending backwards during it.

The crowd was already on their feet at this.

“This is your grandest dream come true!” Elvira continued. “Just like SHIMMER, we-” She had to stop due to the massive pop from the crowd at the mention of SHIMMER. “…just like SHIMMER, we are an all women’s company, and we’re gonna treat you to some badass competition! And you gentlemen watching, you’d best keep those cat-calls to yourselves, because these girls are more than willing and capable to hop that rail and BEAT YOUR ASS!! WOO!!”

“Sharmell has already made that clear to me.” Cole commented.

“Tonight is our very first show, so right now we have a big problem.” Elvira said. “We’ve got no champions and we’ve got no contenders! So tonight, we’re gonna decide a World Champion, a North American Champion, and a Revolutionary Champion! The North American Championship will be decided right now in an eight-woman Battle Royal. The final two will square off in a one-fall match for the North American Championship. So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s kick off the REVOLUTIIOOONNNNNN!!!”

Elvira left the ring, and one by one the participants came down.

Battle Royal
North American Championship Match

Angelina Love vs. Christy Hemme vs. Daizee Haze vs. Jacqueline vs. Rain vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. Traci Brooks vs. Velvet Sky

Everyone stood as far from everyone else as possible, either in the very corners or between the two corners at the ropes. Jacqueline made the first move by attacking Traci with a forearm, and a brawl quickly ensued.

Christy aggressively assaulted Rain with hard rights before Irish whipping her across the ring. Rain bounced off the ropes, ducked under Christy’s follow up clothesline, bounced off the opposite ropes, and hit Christy with a double knee backbreaker. The momentum caused Christy to spin around on her feet before falling back, taking the shot, and bouncing off Rain’s knees. She continued to roll under the bottom rope and fell to the floor, eliminated.

Rain tried to quickly get to her feet but was still struck by a Yakuza Kick from Daizee Haze. Rain too was knocked out of the ring and eliminated, falling onto a motionless Christy Hemme.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky were busy double-teaming Roxxi. They had her against the ropes and were both hitting punches and chops on her. Finally they each grabbed one of her legs and smoothly flipped her over the rope, where she landed on the outside apron. Love and Sky went to follow up, but were both taken by a spit of Asian mist from Roxxi. The ref didn’t see this, but Traci Brooks took notice. As Roxxi grabbed Sky to try to yank her over the ropes, Traci hit Love with a lariat, sending her over the top rope and to the floor. She then quickly grabbed Sky’s legs and threw them up high, allowing Roxxi to effectively snapmare Sky over the top rope and to the floor.

Traci moved to knock Roxxi off the apron, but took a forearm to the back from Jacqueline. Jacqueline spun Traci around and hit her with more punches and forearms. Traci managed to block a few and return her own, pushing Jacqueline to the center of the ring. The two locked in a high elbow tie up, with Traci breaking it with a knee to Jacqueline’s gut. Traci advanced on Jacqueline, but Jacqueline knocked Traci back with a kick to the gut, and followed up with a swinging neckbreaker.

Jacqueline got up and attempted to simply push Traci out of the ring, but Traci grabbed onto the bottom rope and pushed back. Frustrated, Jacqueline grabbed one of Traci’s legs, yanked her away from the ropes, and flipped her over into a half Boston crab.

Traci screamed, attracting the attention of the brawling Roxxi and Daizee. The two ran forward and hit Jacqueline with a running Big Boot and Yakuza Kick. Jacqueline was knocked away from Traci, and Daizee proceeded to simply kick her like a soccer ball out of the ring. Traci tried to stand, essentially missing a leg from Jacqueline’s half-crab. Roxxi grabbed Traci by the shoulders, spun around to gain momentum, and threw her through the middle ropes to the ground.

Daizee Haze vs. Roxxi Laveaux

Daizee and Roxxi now circled in the ring. The two grabbed for each other and locked in a grapple. Daizee broke it, grabbed Roxxi’s arm, and spun around to twist it. Roxxi strained for a few seconds before spinning herself, then spinning again to twist Daizee’s arm. Daizee quickly rolled into a backflip, got up, and twisted Roxxi’s arm into a hammerlock. Roxxi elbowed Daizee with her free arm and reversed the hammerlock, putting Daizee in one. Roxxi kicked the back of Daizee’s knee, dropping her to her knees and maintaining the hammerlock. Daizee reached back and snapmared Roxxi over her shoulder, and quickly grabbed the same arm.

Daizee stood up and went to twist Roxxi’s arm yet again, but Roxxi simply yanked her into a lariat. Daizee stayed down, and Roxxi idly walked away, painfully rubbing her arm. She then went for a cover and only got a one count.

Roxxi pulled Daizee up and Irish whipped her to the ropes. Daizee bounced back, ducked under a Big Boot, and bounced off the opposite ropes to hit Roxxi with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Daizee got up, yanked Roxxi up, and scoop slammed her back down. Daizee covered and got a two count.

Daizee climbed to the outside and climbed the turnbuckle. Roxxi got up, and Daizee hit her with a missile dropkick. A cover and another two count. Daizee got to her feet, pulled Roxxi into a sitting position, and hit a low dropkick to the back of her head. Daizee covered the motionless Roxxi and got yet another two count.

Frustrated, Daizee got to her feet and yanked Roxxi up. She grabbed Roxxi by the head and went for a facebreaker knee smash, but Roxxi put her hands up and pushed Daizee’s knee away. She then broke Daizee’s grip with two hard elbows to the gut. Daizee staggered back for a second but quickly charged, and Roxxi dropped her with an exploder suplex.

The ref got to 5 in his 10 count before both girls got to their feet. They got into a grapple, which Roxxi broke by Irish whipping Daizee into the corner. Roxxi charged and hit a running hip strike. Daizee staggered away. Roxxi ran to the ropes, bounced off, and went for a running Big Boot. Daizee ducked under it and attempted to hit Roxxi with a stunner, but Roxxi pushed her away. Daizee spun around to retaliate, only to run into a Big Boot. Roxxi covered for a two count.

Roxxi got up and pulled Daizee to her feet. Daizee hit Roxxi with a jawbreaker, staggering her, and followed up with a sitout facebuster. A cover and a two count for Daizee.

Daizee pulled Roxxi up and set her up for her Snapmare Driver. She tried to go for it, but Roxxi reached back and held on to the ropes. Daizee let go and took a step away. Roxxi charged for a lariat, and Daizee ducked under it and sent her across the ring with a Daizee-canrana.

Daizee ran to the corner and quickly climbed to the top turnbuckle. Roxxi slowly got to her feet, and Daizee went for a second missile dropkick. Roxxi caught Daizee on her shoulder and brought her down with a Voodoo Slam. Roxxi covered and got the three count.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner, and new North American Champion, Roxxi Laveaux!” Lilian announced.

Roxxi took the belt and raised it, though visibly straining to even do that.

“Now that’s what I’m talking about.” Sharmell said. “This is what women’s wrestling was meant to be.”
“An extremely competitive and impressive match, no doubt!” Cole replied, setting up for the replays. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone take two running big boots to the face at once. Seemed like neither one wanted to stay down, even after this hard dropkick to the back of the head, this big boot, this facebuster… but in the end Daizee went for a missile dropkick once too often and Roxxi countered it with a Voodoo Slam, and the Voodoo Queen is the new North American Champion.”
“Woah, wait a minute.” Sharmell said.

Daizee, having just gotten up, lurched towards Roxxi. Roxxi turned to face her, and the two locked eyes. After a few seconds, Daizee finally offered her hand. A few more seconds, and Roxxi shook it. Daizee smiled and raised Roxxi’s hand in victory.

“Now that’s sportsmanship.” Cole said.

----------------------------------------

“I’m standing here with TNA Knockout ODB.” Crystal said. “Now ODB, you had a choice to challenge for the WWR World Championship, or the Revolutionary Championship. What made you go for the Revolutionary Championship instead? I mean, not that it’s somehow less prestigious, but usually people jump on a chance to go for the World Championship.”

“Well Crystal, it’s like this: I didn’t enter this industry just to kick some ass for a belt, I entered it so I could kick it better than anyone else and so the whole world could watch me do it.” ODB said. “Ya see, us Knockouts, we embrace physicality, we love beating the hell out of each other, but most of the world sees two women in the ring and they think it’s just some glorified live porn! So once I get out there and bust some princess open with a steel chair, the world is gonna have a whole different outlook!”

“Well I’m all for that, but I should mention that you’re not going in the ring with some princess; you’re going to have to face two-time WWE Women’s Champion Victoria.” Crystal said.

“Ooohh, so I won’t be facing a princess, I’ll be facing OVW’s queen!” ODB mocked. “Maybe she has won a couple of championships, maybe she is a bodybuilder or fitness competitor or whateverthehell, but The ODB is not just another pretty face. OOOHHH.”

With that, ODB left.

----------------------------------------

“Well up next is definitely something for the history books: the first ever match for the WWR Revolutionary Championship.” Cole said. “This belt can only be exchanged in an extreme rules match.”
“That means we’ll probably be seeing some blood tonight, Cole.” Sharmell added. “Tonight, and any other time this belt is contested.”
“That’s right; this belt certainly isn’t for the faint of heart. Only the most lethal girls will be competing for it, and that’s exactly what we have tonight in ODB and Victoria.” Cole replied.

ODB and Victoria came down to the ring, ODB of course accompanied by her slew of “ODB!” chants.

“The following is an Extreme Rules Match, scheduled for one-fall, and it is for the WWR Revolutionary Championship!” Lilian announced. “Introducing first, from Louisville, Kentucky, weighing in at 155 pounds, Victoria! And her opponent, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 130 pounds, ODB!”

Extreme Rules Match
Revolutionary Championship Match

ODB vs. Victoria

The two walked to the center of the ring, unintimidated by each other. Victoria shoved ODB away, and ODB responded by walking back and shoving Victoria away. Victoria nodded and smirked, while ODB beckoned her to come. Victoria walked forward and locked ODB in a grapple. Victoria slowly pushed ODB back a couple of steps, but couldn’t gain any more ground. ODB then slowly pushed Victoria back those steps, and then two more. Victoria stopped ODB, pushed her back to the center of the ring, and then neither girl could gain ground. The two broke the grapple and backed away, exchanging amused smirks.

The two ran forward and locked in a grapple again. ODB broke the grapple by hitting Victoria with a scoop slam. “OOOHHH!!” ODB yelled, riling the crowd up. ODB reached down to grab Victoria, and Victoria staggered her with a thumb to the eyes. The ref gave her a sort of pleading look to not do that, but that was all he could do.

Victoria advanced on ODB, grabbed her arm, and put her in a hammerlock. From here she pushed ODB against the ropes, then Irish whipped her across the ring. ODB bounced off and ran into a Superkick from Victoria. “OOOHHH!!” Victoria mocked. Victoria grabbed ODB by the hair, pulled her to her hands and knees, and hit a clubbing shot to the back of ODB’s head.

Victoria grabbed ODB by the hair again and took her up into a Gory Special. ODB hit Victoria with elbows to the head and dropped to her feet behind Victoria. Victoria spun around and was greeted by a barrage of backhand chops from ODB, knocking her into the corner. ODB followed with a hard right, producing a scream from Victoria. Victoria stumbled to the center of the ring with ODB in pursuit. ODB picked Victoria and sent her across the ring with a fallaway slam. Victoria bounced under the bottom rope and fell to the floor, and ODB did a kip-up to her feet. “OOOHHH!!”

ODB climbed out of the ring and advanced on Victoria. Victoria suddenly sprung up and jabbed ODB in the ribs with a steel chair. ODB painfully held her ribs and stumbled away, and Victoria floored her with a chair shot to the back. Victoria yanked ODB to her hands and knees and flattened her with another chair shot to the back.

Victoria pulled ODB up and rolled her into the ring. She climbed in, covered, and got a two count. Though she kicked out, ODB wasn’t moving, so Victoria covered again and got another two count.

“Come on!!” Victoria yelled in frustration.

Victoria stomped on ODB once, and climbed out of the ring. She retrieved her steel chair, grabbed another, and slid into the ring with both of them. She put a chair under ODB’s head, stood up, and gave another mocking “OOOHHH!!” Victoria raised the chair high and slammed it down, but ODB rolled out of the way. Victoria dropped her chair, painfully holding her hands.

ODB pulled herself to her feet. Victoria advanced and went for a hard right, which ODB blocked and returned her own. ODB gave Victoria a kick to the gut, then grabbed her head and slammed her into the top turnbuckle. Wasting no time, ODB grabbed Victoria again, and this time sent her shoulder first into the steel ring post.

ODB paused for a moment to catch her breath before pulling Victoria out. She picked Victoria up and began to circle one of the fallen steel chairs, setting up for a running powerslam. ODB began her run, and Victoria slipped out, landing behind ODB. Victoria grabbed ODB, hoisted her into a fireman’s carry, and hit ODB with a tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam onto the steel chair. Victoria covered and got the three count.

“Here is your winner, and new Revolutionary Champion, Victoria!” Lilian announced.

“Well, ODB certainly proved she wasn’t just another pretty face, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the power of Victoria!” Cole said. “But Sharmell, you promised blood!”
“Next time, don’t you worry.” Sharmell replied.
“Well, blood or not, that was still an extremely competitive match!” Cole continued. “ODB and Victoria were clearly equal in strength, with the match going back and forth until those chairs were introduced. Then, aside from a brief comeback, the match was all Victoria. And now, Victoria is out new Revolutionary Champion.”

----------------------------------------

“I’m here with WWE Diva Beth Phoenix.” Crystal said. “Beth, tonight you’ve got a WWR World Championship match against Awesome Kong. What are your thoughts on the match?”

“It’s simple, Crystal.” Beth replied. “I am Beth Phoenix, the Glamazon, the perfect blend of strength and beauty. Awesome Kong has less strength and no beauty. So tonight, I’ll beat her, and I’ll be the first and ONLY WWR World Champion.”

Crystal opened her mouth to reply, but was interrupted by Melina, who stepped into view between Crystal and Beth Phoenix.

“Yeah, excuse me, I’ve got a real issue here, not you asking cliché questions that nobody cares about the answer to.” Melina said. “I want to know what kind of company is this where I’m not even considered for any of the matches tonight. An eight-woman battle royal and some SHIMMER nobodies are picked over me??”

The crowd erupted in boo’s at this.

“Well… what do you want from me? I don’t book matches around here.” Crystal said, confused. “Elvira is in her office, go bug her.”

“DON’T. Take that tone with me.” Melina said, sticking a finger in Crystal’s face, before walking away.

Beth put her hands on her hips and smirked. “The dogs here, fighting over a North American Championship.” She said, and walked off in the other direction.

----------------------------------------

“‘SHIMMER nobodies.’ Wow, talk about disrespect.” Cole said. “The crowd did not like that one bit.”
“And why would they?” Sharmell said, outraged. “The SHIMMER girls are pretty much the pioneers of Women’s Wrestling Revolution, they’re the reason she’s even employed here, and she goes and calls them nobodies?? Who the hell does that girl think she is?!”
“She almost reminds me of Randy Orton, spitting in the face of his own father.” Cole commented. “…can I do that? Am I allowed to reference male superstars here?”
“I guess I can let it slide, in moderation.” Sharmell replied.
“Uh, thanks then…” Cole said uneasily. “Well ladies and gentlemen, up next is a match for the WWR World Championship between Beth Phoenix and Awesome Kong. Sharmell, who do you like in this matchup?”
“Well I’ve seen girls get dropped by that Awesome Bomb one after the other.” Sharmell replied. “And Beth Phoenix is a heavier girl, so that means she’ll feel the Bomb that much more.”
“That’s a good point, the bigger they are the harder they fall.” Cole said. “It also means that Awesome Kong would be absolutely devastated by that Fisherman’s Suplex, but the question is: Can Beth Phoenix actually get Awesome Kong in the air to hit it? I don’t think she can.”

Beth Phoenix and Awesome Kong made their way down to the ring.

“The following contest is scheduled for one-fall, and it is for the WWR World Championship!” Lilian announced. “Introducing first, from Japan, weighing in at 210 pounds, Awesome Kong! And her opponent, from Buffalo, New York, weighing in at 150 pounds, Beth Phoenix, the Glamazon!”

One-Fall Match
World Championship Match

Awesome Kong vs. Beth Phoenix

Beth Phoenix immediately rushed Kong, getting her into a grapple. Kong quickly broke it and shoved Beth away, pushing her half way across the ring and into the ropes. This only angered Beth, who charged again and jumped to hit a hard right to Kong’s face, and followed up with several more. She grabbed Kong’s hand to Irish whip her, but Kong stood her ground. After a few seconds of this Kong reversed the whip and sent Beth to the ropes. Beth bounced off, charged for Kong, and hit her with a running forearm. Kong took a step back but didn’t fall.

Beth, relentless, continued with a kick to the gut into a European uppercut. Again, this only staggered Kong, not knocking her over. Beth grabbed Kong’s hand for an Irish whip, and again Kong stood in place.

Kong yanked Beth in for a clothesline, but Beth ducked under it and suddenly hit Kong with a side slam. Beth covered, and Kong simply threw Beth off her for a two count.

Beth and Kong got to her feet, Beth visibly starting to run out of gas. She charged for Kong and ran into a spinning back fist, decking her. Kong reached down, grabbed Beth, and lifted her up into a Gorilla press before slamming her back down. Kong covered for a two count.

Kong grabbed Beth, lifted her to her feet, and Irish whipped her to the ropes. Beth bounced off, and Kong leveled her with a lariat. A cover and another kickout. Kong got up and climbed the turnbuckle. She gave a sadistic smile and leapt off for a diving splash. Beth rolled out of the way and Kong hit the mat.

Beth got to her feet, wearing a look of anger and pain. Kong was getting to her feet, and Beth keeled her over with a kick to the gut. Beth applied a front headlock and attempted to lift Kong up, with no results. Beth tried again, and this time managed to lift Kong just enough for a slingshot suplex off the top rope. The ring shook from the impact. Beth covered and Kong kicked out at two, to Beth’s amazement.

Beth slowly yanked Kong to her feet and put her in another front facelock. She attempted to lift Kong for her fisherman’s suplex, but Kong countered by simply standing up, hitting Beth with a back body drop. Kong reached down, grabbed Beth by the neck, harshly lifted her up, and chokeslammed her back down. Kong again yanked Beth up, and this time hit her with her Implant Buster. Kong covered, and to her and everyone else’s surprise, Beth got a shoulder up at two and a half.

Kong yanked Beth up, and Beth gave Kong several weak punches to the face, knocking her back a few steps. Kong eventually responded with a hard kick to the gut, and hit her with an Awesome Bomb. Kong covered and got the three count.

“The winner of this match, and new WWR World Champion, Awesome Kong!” Lilian announced.

“Now that was an unbelievable matchup!” Cole exclaimed. “Looks like you were right, Sharmell.”
“Don’t act so surprised, Cole.” Sharmell replied.
“I wasn’t!” Cole protested. “Anyway, to Beth Phoenix’s credit, she gave Kong a heck of a fight. I’ve never seen anyone hit Kong with a slingshot suplex, never mind lift her at all! And how many people are capable of kicking out of an Implant Buster, while having enough to mount some kind of offense? But in the end, Awesome Kong hit that Awesome Bomb, and Beth Phoenix was done.”
“This rivalry definitely hasn’t been settled here.” Sharmell said. “Now we know that Beth Phoenix can give Kong a run for her money. I wouldn’t be surprised if she took that Championship from Kong soon.”
“Neither would I.” Cole replied. “But if Beth Phoenix of all people couldn’t beat her, who’s going to stop Awesome Kong?”

BM: North American Championship Match. Good fun and it flowed nicley.

WM: N/A. They were allpretty good.

BP: Crystal and ODB. This was a very good promo and was in character. ODB was awsome in this and i could sense her presence.

WP: N/A. There were only two.

AC: You should try and not write your show out like a story. Do:

ODB: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Krystal: Blah, blah, balh ,balh ,blah.

Also there were only two promos in the whole thing but apart from that everything was pretty sweet. Matches were particularly good. I would try and stop saying about other brands in your Interviews. You were calling people TNA Knockouts and WWE Divas when they are not anymore. I also think once you said Beth Pheonix was gonna fight for the WWE Diva Championship instead of saying she was gonna fight for the WWR World Championship.

BM: Daizee vs. Roxxi. This could have been the main event.
WM: They were all good, but if I had to choose I'd say the Extreme rules match
BP: If the commentary counts that's what I pick.
WP: The Beth Phoenix promo just because she called herself a WWE diva.
AC: Like eyebrow said don't refer to them as TNA Knockouts or WWE divas. Overall it was a pretty good show. How often will you post episodes?
Plug: Please check out my BTB POI Wrestling and please leave a review.

Once a week, ish. I don't like giving exact dates because then I end up killing myself to work the deadline and the quality drops. Forcing myself to keep deadlines is what made me give up on running FFW and college at the same time. So, you know, four a month.
