WWE's " Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro" Cover and Trailer

WWE: The Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro DVD. The 3-Disc DVD set contains around 30 matches along with other segments, and is hosted by DDP. It hits stores early June.

The news feed made note that there are four TNA employees on the cover Hogan, Flair, Sting and Bischoff. I don't have an issue with that since those four played huge roles in WCW and they wouldn't have much footage without those guys. I am looking forward to this DVD since it should be a lot of fun reliving some of those matches and moments. Plus DDP will be great as host.

What do you think of the cover? Will you be getting this DVD?

I like how the DVD looks like it was from the nineties. They didn't try to give it a fancy cover artwork they made it look like it was done in that period of time that Nitro was on. Yeah DDP should be really entertaining and the picture chosen for him on the cover is hilarious.

Very nice cover, hopefully they get the match selections right from Nitro, I do not know how this DVD will top the Rise and fall of WCW. Which was just awesome in my opinion.

I like how the trailer includes one of the biggest moments in the hosts, DDP, career. I am still looking to get this once it comes out which is hopefully soon.

Should be pretty good with DDP as host, he was my favorite wrestler back in the day in WCW.

Think I will be getting this although I do have many of the Nitro's on Tape and will collect them again on DVD, still should be interested to see what WWE do with this release. Hope there is a documentary of some kind to go along with the matches to explain the impact and history of Nitro. I too hope that they one day release many of WCW's old PPV's on DVD.

I remember some time back there was talk about WWE releasing sets of WCW's PPVs like they have done with Summerslam and Royal Rumble. I think it will all depend on how well this DVD sells, if this is a big seller then I am sure they will start releasing more WCW themed DVDs.

Watching The Rise and Fall of WCW DVD right now just because I saw this thread name when I came online haha.

A Clash DVD would be good Scott, I have recently started collecting those events [being in the UK I never got to see them before], but a DVD profile on the shows, and some of the most famed matches would be good.

Personally Troy I think the release of WCW PPV's should hold more appeal than a Nitro DVD, just because a lot of people won't have seen those events, and there are many people like me who just have most of them on Video. In some ways it makes sense for the Nitro to be more heavy on interviews, and story, than on matches.

Keith I have seen every Clash and it would be really easy to have 10-15 great matches on a set with a short profile. Plus Sting-Flair from Clash I in my favorite match of all time but it is on quite a few DVD's already so It's not a necessity.

This looks good. I saw WCW rise and fall dvd and got really into it. So I am excited for this DVD to come out. Can not wait should be good best of Nitro matches, so excited for this should be a good set. Hopefully for some fun Goldberg squash matches on here.

Yeah Scott I have seen the first four Clash's so far, and I really like that Sting/Flair match, although I would say it is not as good as their match at The Bash 90, now that was a great match.
