- WWE's new storyline with Ted DiBiase is that he has received a large trust fund from his dad, the Million Dollar Man. The storyline goes that Ted was to receive the trust fund after either his 30th birthday or his first WrestleMania match, which happened this year. Ted is using his money to pay off WWE Superstars off, as seen on RAW last night with the Colons attacking R-Truth.

Since Brett DiBiase is supposedly injured, I thought they were going to replace B.DiBiase/Joe Henning with the Colons since they too are 2nd generation.

That is a pretty lame storyline though, DiBiase gets nothing out of it. I would understand if he was chasing a title or something, but just random beat downs for no reason makes no sense to me.

I'm sure the beatdown on R-Truth wasn't random. Did you not see a few weeks ago what happened with Ted and R-Truth. Sure that had something to do with this beat down. But if they do other beat downs then yeah it could get pretty random.

Now about this I think it could go two ways. Good if they don't make it two random like why did they attack these people or bad if they go the random beat down way. Then again they might not always be beat downs. Could be used to help win matches and what not.

I want this group to feud with the Hart Dynasty. I still think they could of pushed both groups if they would of done a Legacy vs. Dynasty feud. I also think I prefer the Legacy name over the one they're looking at now (can't remember the exact name, Sons of something)

Also think that they should of left Rhodes on Raw with the group, I just really don't think they're gonna push him very much on Smackdown.

I'm just happy that Teds getting this nice push. It was awesome to see him main eventing Raw. A stable with the Colons would be really nice but idk if that is going to happen. Regardless I think that Ted is a diamond in the rough and will be the next big breakout star.

As many have said before I believe that Ted is great at what he does and easily the next Randy Orton. He plays a heel to a tee and like Sheamus is worthy of a big push early on in his career.

It gives him SOMETHING to do. He joins the group of midcarders actually having a storyline and character, which already sets him apart.

In other news:

Randy Orton has turned face and will feud with Edge.
John Cena is currently the WWE champion.
The Miz will have to chose which member of the Hart Family to wrestle at OTL and it will be Bret Hart.

They're kinda rehashing what his dad did, but oh well. If it leads to a stable, and they get another Hart to join the Hart Dynasty, it could lead to a legendary feud

I think it's better than he's not longer in a stable with Henig and his brother. They will just hold him down.

Joe Hennig rules. Ted Jr would hold him down.

^^^That's music to my ears..... Been excited about the prospect of the next gen Hennig coming to the E for ages... First time I've actually seen any overtly positive comments about him tho'.

That is a pretty lame storyline though, DiBiase gets nothing out of it. I would understand if he was chasing a title or something, but just random beat downs for no reason makes no sense to me.

As others have pointed out, his attack on Truth wasn't random.

Put simply, Dibiase will get heat for having others do his dirty work.

If that leads to title opportunities it will bring more even more heat (and even more if he wins said title).....

IF executed well, that is.

Kinda innevitable though I guess.

I don't have a problem with this though as they never took that gimmick anywhere near as far as they could.

Unless you count Virgil's ringside actions in general, during a 6 year in-ring run I can only recall 3 programs where MDMan actually used his money directly to the dissadvantage of a foe - His original quest for the title with Andre & Hogan, buying Hercules contract from Heenan and buying off Saphire to fuck with Dusty... Oh, and I think he bought Akeem's Rumble entry number one year.
