Kickoff show match for the Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander (c) def. TJP
Give people some good wrestling on the pre-show and maybe they'll watch the actual show.

Kickoff show segment: Elias interrupts the panel discussing matches and begins a performance there protesting his lack of inclusion in the MITB ladder match.

Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins (c) def. Apollo Crews

I see a lot of potential in a Crews-Rollins match. Apollo will order Titus not to be ringside here since Apollo wants to fight on his on his own. It'll go for around seventeen minutes

Tag team match for the RAW Tag Team Championship: The Revival def. Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt (c)
The Revival doesn't buy into the mysticism of Hardy and Wyatt and decide to fuck 'em up.

Women's Money in the Bank ladder match: Becky Lynch def. Bayley, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Ember Moon, Asuka, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville

Where has Becky been the past year? Hell if I know, but I for one would like to see her become more relevant. This is my preferred way to do that. I really like the thought of her cashing in MITB on Charlotte to win the title and begin her run as champ by feuding with Miss McExplodyTit, whom I'm going to pretend isn't injured while booking this show. Key takeaways here are the interactions between Bayley and Sasha, Asuka getting ganged up on by most of the women in the match, and Carmella interfering to prevent Asuka from winning. Carmella is scared shitless of Asuka and does not want her lurking with the briefcase.

Singles match: Daniel Bryan def. Colin Cassidy

This match provides a conclusion to the Bryan-Cassidy feud with a second clean win for Bryan.

Tag team match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship: Bludgeon Brothers (c) def. The Usos
Remember their extremely disappointing match at the Greatest Royal Rumble? I wouldn't blame anyone for forgetting it happened. Anyways, this time they actually get to have a long match and showcase why their tag matches were so fire back in 2014.

Singles match for the Smackdown Women's Championship: Charlotte vs.. Carmella (c) Asuka goes apeshit
Remember how Carmella prevented Asuka from winning MITB? Yeah, that comes back to haunt her since Asuka beats the holy hell out of Carmella during her entrance for a would-be defense against Charlotte. Eventually Charlotte has to pull Asuka off Carmella and the two exchange a heated stare that teases a future match.

The long-term booking plan here is to have a championship singles match between Charlotte and Asuka at SummerSlam. If we do more WWEF Books It threads, you'll see the specifics of how it's gonna be built up.

"I Quit" match for the WWE Championship: AJ Styles (c) def. Shinesuke Nakamura
This unending feud finally comes to a clean conclusion in a match that goes for thirty minutes and sees AJ win after Nakamura without a hint of any bullshit screams "I quit" so loud the arena shakes.

Men's Money in the Bank ladder match: The Miz def. Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Roman Reigns, Rusev, Cesaro, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Hardy
Miz has been on fire for the past few years. Year? I can't tell, it feels like it's been a while. Nevertheless, he's a great star, a great character, and is without a doubt worthy of being a WWE Champion again. He's one of the few people in WWE that is genuinely amazing on the mic to the point where I wanna listen whenever he's speaking. The only other person I can think of that makes me feel that way is Joe, whom I love dearly but cannot imagine carrying around the briefcase. The same applies to Lashley and Strowman, but these three are good stars that will make for an entertaining match. I like having Reigns and Joe in the same match to play up to their previous feud. Cesaro, Balor, and Hardy are natural picks for this match since they all strike me as great in a ladder match. McIntyre is here to toy with the idea of a new return winning MITB. Finally, Rusev is here to capitalize on fan love for him. He, Cesaro, McIntyre, and Balor are all guys I'd consider midcarders that aren't likely to win, but it's not too far-fetched to imagine them actually managing to take home the briefcase.

Your suggestion is noted...& ignored.

Like, it was said that you need state who won the match and please don't be rude. If you have legitimate grievances, DM privately to me. It is just simply one person needs to win MITB, not "either or."

Like, it was said that you need state who won the match

I am simply leaving it as an "open option" because of there
being two main titles for both the men & women to possibly
cash in on.

I'm guessing one briefcase will end up on RAW & one on
SDL...and I personally can't decide where I would put either
briefcase.

I will not allow "rules" to stifle my creativity or my opinions.

I just did that for a year...I'm not doing it again...ever.

IF my refusal to book/pick a clear winner invalidates my entry...
then that is fine.

I'm not worried in the slightest.

Please just make sure the forum cash/credits I donated to you
do actually go to the winner.

If they aren't...then I'd like them returned.

and please don't be rude.
I'm sure I wasn't being rude...I was simply being direct.

You'd know when I'm being rude my friend...trust me.

If you have legitimate grievances, DM privately to me.
Nice choice of word...& if I did have grievance...I'd air in front
of everyone. I thought that was how we did things around here?

But its fine...because I don't have a grievance.

CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Cedric Alexander © vs Buddy Murphy

Build:
Since being knocked out of the Cruiserweight Championship tournament by Mustafa Ali, Buddy Murphy has been working towards earning an opportunity at Cedric Alexander’s newly won title. Murphy attacked Alexander on the 205 Live after Wrestlemania 34, but failed to make the 205 weight limit to have a match against him. Buddy eventually got under the weight limit once again, and after Backlash, he would once again attack Cedric Alexander and demand a championship match only to be put in a Fatal 4 Way to crown a number one contender for Money in the Bank. Buddy Murphy faced Kalisto, Mustafa Ali and Drew Gulak and end up winning the match by pinning Ali. The match would then be announced for the kickoff show of Money in the Bank.

Finish:
Murphy successfully escaped a Lumbar Check attempt to hit the Murphy’s Law only for Alexander to kick out, Cedric then took advantage of a frustrated Buddy Murphy to hit a Lumbar Check and get the pin.

Result:
Cedric Alexander defeats Buddy Murphy to retain the Cruiserweight Championship.

Bobby Roode and Seth Rollins both had successful nights at Backlash to say, with Rollins retaining his championship against The Miz and Rood finally getting some revenge on Elias. Roode would defeat Elias and Gable would defeat Mahal, with Roode then defeating Gable to become number one contender. Bobby and Seth would exchange words on the mic the following few weeks, with Rollins seemingly getting under the skin of Bobby Roode as their title match drew closer and closer.

Finish:
Bobby Roode would attempt a Superplex from the top rope only for Rollins to send him crashing back down to the mat, Seth would leap for the Frog Splash and connect successfully, proceeding to run off the ropes and deliver the Curb Stomp for the win.

RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Deleters of Worlds © vs Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler

Build:
Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy have proven to be unstoppable as a tag team, and after knocking off The Bar at Greatest Royal Rumble they are the target for every team on RAW. McIntyre and Ziggler have recently broke into the tag scene on RAW, and racked up wins against The Revival, Slater & Rhyno, and The Ascension during their time as a team. This caught the attention of Hardy and Wyatt who welcomed their challenge, and McIntyre would end up defeating Bray Wyatt on an episode of RAW which surprised both Hardy and Wyatt in the process, but they still wanted to prove that they were the best tandem in the tag division and ended up making the match themselves for Money in the Bank. Angle had no choice but to make the match seeing that all men involved wanted it, and was a test to see if McIntyre and Ziggler could avoid being deleted by the rising duo.

Finish:
McIntyre successfully hits a Claymore on Matt Hardy and goes to pin him, but Ziggler tags himself in and calls up Matt for a Superkick whilst Drew looks fairly annoyed being forced onto the apron. Hardy avoids the Superkick, but Dolph knocks him down with a Dropkick before McIntyre distracts him in the corner calling for a tag, the two bicker and don’t notice Wyatt tagging himself in. Dolph turns around into a Sister Abigail, and McIntyre doesn’t even bother to break up the pin as the titles are retained.

Result:
Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defeat Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre to retain the RAW Tag Team Championships.

NO DISQUALIFICATION AND NO COUNTOUTS
Big Cass vs Daniel Bryan

Build:
Big Cass still targets Daniel Bryan after Backlash where Bryan made him tap out, whilst Bryan continues to fight him off at every possible turn. Bryan would lose out on qualifying against Rusev, whilst Cass would also lose out on qualifying when he would be rolled up by Andrade Cien Almas. With neither of these two in the ladder match and their troubles still lingering, Smackdown GM Paige would make another match between the two for Money in the Bank, but this time there would be no disqualifications and no countouts, allowing for a true brawl to take place between these two.

Finish:
Cass has a chair in his hand and goes to swing it at a stumbling Bryan, but Daniel hits a Roundhouse Kick across the chair and subsequently into the face of Cass. Bryan would take a run up and hit the Running Knee with the chair acting as extra impact, which would keep Cass down for the three count.

Result:
Daniel Bryan defeats Big Cass.

TAG TEAM MATCH
New Day vs Sanity

Build:
Sanity would target The New Day after debuting on Smackdown, promising that positivity doesn’t live when faced with chaos. With leader Eric Young going after Jeff Hardy and his United States Championship, Dain and Wolfe were set to take on two New Day members at Money in the Bank. The decision for the trio would be made for them after Dain would ‘injure’ Kofi Kingston after a match on Smackdown, making it Woods and Big E vs Dain and Wolfe.

Finish:
Wolfe would take out Big E on the apron, allowing Dain to hit Woods with the Ulster Plantation and get the pin.

Result:
Sanity defeats The New Day.

UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Brock Lesnar © vs Kevin Owens

Build:
Brock Lesnar would return to RAW the night after Backlash, with Heyman wanting new competition for Lesnar which would summon Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to interrupt them. Kevin would talk about never getting his rematch for the Universal Championship when he lost it to Goldberg at Fastlane, but Heyman says that Fastlane was such a long time ago, his rematch would have to be earned instead of given to him. Kurt Angle seemed to agree, but Owens and Zayn would take matters into their own hands and assault Lesnar with Brock unable to fight off the duo. Owens would Pop-Up Powerbomb Lesnar and Zayn would Helluva Kick him, leaving Angle with a tough decision to be made. The following week, Heyman would appear on RAW alone and challenge Kevin Owens on behalf of Lesnar which Owens would accept, leaving Kurt Angle no choice but to make the match. Brock would have the last laugh delivering an F-5 to Owens on the go-home RAW, as well as throwing Sami Zayn off the stage and rendering him unable to be at ringside to support Kevin in this huge match.

Finish:
Owens would set Lesnar up for a Pop-Up Powerbomb after delivering a Cannonball in the corner, however Brock would simply turn Owens inside out with a lariat and take him down to deliver a collection of elbows to the face of Kevin. Brock would haul the lifeless body of Kevin Owens onto his shoulders and deliver an F-5, keeping Owens down and allowing Brock to retain the championship.

Result:
Brock Lesnar defeats Kevin Owens to retain the Universal Championship.

MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
Finn Balor vs Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley vs Rusev vs Andrade Cien Almas vs The Miz vs Cesaro

Build:
This match would also be built off of qualifying matches, which would take place on RAW and Smackdown Live. On the RAW after Backlash, Finn Balor would defeat Sami Zayn to qualify, and Braun Strowman would defeat Apollo Crews to qualify. On the Smackdown Live after Backlash, Rusev would defeat Daniel Bryan to qualify, and Andrade Cien Almas would defeat Big Cass to qualify. On the following RAW, Roman Reigns would defeat Jinder Mahal to qualify, and Bobby Lashley would defeat Elias to qualify. On the following Smackdown Live, The Miz would defeat Sheamus to qualify, and Cesaro would defeat Shelton Benjamin to qualify. All eight men would talk about how great it would feel to win the ladder match, everyone apart from The Miz would be looking to win their first Money in the Bank match, whilst Miz looked to make history and win his second Money in the Bank match.

Finish:
The match would eventually come down to four men, two from each brand with Finn Balor and Braun Strowman from RAW, and Rusev and The Miz from Smackdown Live. Braun would end up taking himself and Miz out of the match with a brutal Running Powerslam off the apron through a ladder, leaving Balor and Rusev to climb the ladder and reach the briefcase. The two would fight it out at the top, with Rusev gaining the advantage and forcing Finn to the bottom of the ladder and Rusev would reach up to grab the briefcase, only for a returning Roman Reigns to come in and Powerbomb Rusev off the ladder through another ladder on the outside. The fans would boo a fair bit as Roman would climb the ladder looking to win, only for Balor to leap onto the ladder, knock Reigns off and grab the briefcase for himself. Finn would be interviewed after the match about his win with a recovering Roman Reigns still in the background leaning against the ropes, Finn would mention how Lesnar has beaten everybody in his path so far, how even those who have had multiple shots against Lesnar have failed in every attempt, he says that he’s different than everyone and that he’s going to topple Brock Lesnar. He goes to leave but is dropped from behind by none other than Roman Reigns, who looks absolutely furious that Finn has not only taken the briefcase right from him, but mentioned his previous losses to Brock Lesnar. Reigns would pick up the briefcase and drop it on Balor, walking backstage to a huge negative reaction.

Result:
Finn Balor becomes the holder of the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase.

SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
Carmella © vs Asuka vs Peyton Royce

Build:
After Carmella’s win over Charlotte at Backlash, Asuka would step up as her next challenger which would have Carmella pretty scared of losing her title. The fear of losing her title would cost her a non-title match against one half of the Iconic Duo, Peyton Royce, which earned Royce a title shot at Money in the Bank against Carmella. Carmella would defeat Becky Lynch and Billie Kay to build up momentum towards her title match, but after Asuka pinned Peyton Royce she would be added to the match and make it a triple threat.

Finish:
Carmella would take out Peyton Royce with a Superkick and go for a pin, but Asuka would catch her with the Asuka Lock looking to submit her, Carmella manages to hang on before Peyton Royce breaks up the submission and goes for the Fisherman Suplex on Asuka. She connects and before she can bridge for the pin, Carmella rolls up Royce to retain her championship.

Result:
Carmella defeats Asuka and Peyton Royce to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
AJ Styles © vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Samoa Joe

Build:
The finish to the WWE Championship match at Backlash would result in both Styles and Nakamura unable to answer a 10 count, allowing AJ to retain his championship. Samoa Joe would make his intentions clear on the Smackdown Live after Backlash, choking out AJ Styles backstage and confronting Nakamura in the ring. Styles would interrupt a match the following week between Nakamura and Joe to get his revenge on both men, he would take down Joe only to be caught by another Low Blow from Shinsuke. All three men would build up momentum going into Money in the Bank, with Shinsuke Nakamura eventually standing tall at the end of the go-home Smackdown Live show, having taken out both Joe and AJ after a non-title match between the two would end in a double countout.

Finish:
Being the main event of the evening, these three would go to war for at least 20 minutes and the match would seemingly come down to the two who started it all in Nakamura and Styles who would exchange blows back and forth in the ring. Nakamura would hit a Kinshasa resulting in a very close three count, with a Styles Clash from AJ resulting in another very close three count. Styles would be on the apron when Joe would take out Nakamura with a Big Boot, with AJ going for the Phenomenal Forearm and connecting the move before going for the pin on Joe. Samoa Joe would kick out and catch Styles in the Coquina Clutch, making him pass out in the ring before Nakamura can even get back in the ring to break him up, Joe would be declared the winner and new WWE Champion to close the show.

Result:
Samoa Joe defeats AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura to win the WWE Championship.

So how does this work?

Basically, make your own card for MITB, describe any sort of build for matches, pick write the winners for the match. You go off of the results of Backlash, use the current rosters and pick from there.

After some thought, I have settled on a prize for the winner being a minimum of $5,000 in forum cash. It would depend on if I do a second place prize of a smaller amount. While it isn't out of this world, I think it'd be a nice small thing to go with bragging rights. Also, I have my own card pretty much done, but even though I will post it, I will not be entered in the contest.

Other than that, plenty of time left to enter and fantasy book.

The original post is updated with the current entries into the contest. You still have almost month left to enter. Other than that, I think I'll post my card and once again, I'm not entering, just trying to put my money where my smark mouth is.

Beavie's Card:

WWE_Money_In_the_Bank_Logo.png

Kickoff Match:

Singles Match

Cruiserweight Championship

Buddy Murphy vs Cedric Alexander (c)

This will be a good start to the show, wanted to put it on the main card, but put it here last minute. Buddy Murphy has shown a surprising amount of promise since joining 205 Live, with him having some great matches on the show and I think it is time to give him a test on a PPV to start it off with him and Alexander on the Kickoff show. The build will continue what has been going on over the past while, with Buddy Murphy turning heel and wanting a title opportunity. He was denied one from a “weight gain” but has since went back to the 205 weight limit. So, to get the attention of Rockstar Drake Maverick and the champion, in mine, he targets Alexander’s best friend, Mustafa Ali. This includes a backstage attack on him after Cedric Alexander wins a main event match, which is seen on the big screen. He proceeds to promise “It’ll keep happening unless I get my title match” and instead gets a number one contender’s match against Mustafa the next week where he wins after multiple Murphy’s Laws (his finisher) in a row. This will showcase a story of a meanstreak vs heart and will the obsessed Buddy Murphy take the title or will Cedric Alexander prove why he is the (heart or soul, I forgot) of the Cruiserweight Division.

Winner:

Cedric Alexander with a Lumbar Check

And hopefully, afterwards, Buddy Murphy vs Mustafa can be a feud on 205 Live, and Cedric can take his next title challenger.

Main Card:

Match 1:

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match:

Ember Moon vs Naomi vs Peyton Royce vs Ruby Riott vs Charlotte Flair vs Asuka vs Sasha Banks vs Bayley

After multiple Qualification matches, these are the ones that are seen as worthy of attempting to be the second ever Miss Money in the Bank. The build-up works like your average MITB ladder match, with each wrestler having their own motivations. For Peyton Royce, her and BBF Billie Kay (who sadly failed to qualify) had formed a new “Fabulously Iconic Friendship” with Carmella and want the briefcase to be “matching besties” (we need them to be annoying, mmk?) Charlotte Flair, losing her rematch, wants another chance at gold. Naomi, after her Battle Royale win people forgot about, wishes to continue the momentum which has been lost. Etc, Etc, Etc.

(If Charlotte is hurt, then either Sonya or Mandy Rose takes her place)

Winner:

Asuka, last knocking off Sasha Banks

Simply put, she can be a great babyface MITB holder who can still look strong and cash it in soon-ish. Besides, imagine her dancing around with the briefcase to scare Carmella. Naomi is a good gal in the SD Live Women’s Midcard for now, and she had her run last year. Ruby Riott could be alright down the line but right now she needs more momentum and time to really have the crowd buy into her. Peyton Royce can be a great woman with her bestie Billie Kay to help Carmella get heat as Champion. For Bayley and Sasha, just have one of them finally turn either in this match or before. The long wait has hurt them both and it is a shame as they had one of the best feuds in NXT history before and while Ember Moon is great, she is my second choice. Plus her having a stare-off with Asuka (marks out).

Match 2:

Tag Team Match

Raw Tag Team Championships

The Revival vs The Deleters of Worlds (c)

This could be a generic “I want the gold thing” but let’s have a little fun. After Backlash, the Revival have a match on Raw, win by brutalizing their opponent, and cut a promo basically saying they are tired of being overlooked. They proclaim themselves to be “The Pinnacle” of what it means to be a tag team. They say they don’t need “magic” to win and they want the gold. Then our crazy champions appear on the tron, at the Hardy Compound. They respond, talking about “the Souls” of the Revival and compare it to some comedic historical figure. The Revival snap, call their “mind-games a load of crap” and stress their goals of being tag team champions. Over the next few weeks, the WOKEN team of Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt basically mess with The Revival. Vangaurd One flies in on of their matches, trying to shine a laser pointer in their eyes as Matt Hardy laughs. Another they can lead a silly message in their locker room. Embrace the cookyness. Until finally, the week before Money in the Bank, The Revival head to the Compound and they interact with the Hardy family. They yell at Reby Hardy, taunt Wolfgang and Maxel, and finally, attack Senior Benjamin and before they severely hurt him, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt come in and chase them off. This builds up the WOKEN Universe without needing a full-blown Deletion, they attempt mind-games, and The Revival answer back in a big way.

Winners:

The Deleters of Worlds after a Sister Abigail Twist of Fate Combo

I think we need to at least give Bray and Matt at least one successful defense on PPV, but hopefully with this rivalry, with The Revival winning matches, giving them a run for their money and even attacking the beloved gardener, they have an edge to their character which is lacking on the main roster and they can come back for the titles soon.

Match 3:

Smackdown Live Women’s Championship

Singles Match

Becky Lynch vs Carmella (c) w/IIconics

Continuing from the Women’s MITB post, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce become Carmella’s besties after Backlash, with Billie and Peyton seeing the fact “They are all better than anyone else on the roster” and them helping Carmella win the belt in the first place, that they should be friends and, two weeks after Backlash, like real life, they hold Carmella a massive celebration. Charlotte comes out (as long as she isn’t injured) and reiterates that she is in MITB and can give Carmella a taste of Irony. The three beat-down Charlotte and Becky comes out for the save. (If Char is hurt, then Becky Lynch can just stand for her friend’s honour). Then, the IIconically Fabulous trio turn their attention towards Becky Lynch, and they point out her losing streak. They say she lost her “Straight Fire” and Becky, in an attempt to prove herself, makes a challenge. Non-Title match, with Carmella, she wins, she faces her for the title and, after some failed interference from the IIconics, Becky wins by ducking a title belt shot to the head and turning it into a Bexploader into the corner for the win. Over the next few weeks, the IIconics make Becky’s life hell, and she wins the first match against Billie Kay, but with Peyton she fails. Thus, bringing the question of how can she bring back her game at the top level and stay there?

Winner:

Carmella via a Super Kick after the IIconics distract the ref when Becky has her in the Dis-Arm-Her.

This leads to a rematch for Becky next month at Extreme Rules, as Carmella had a somewhat tainted win, and still adds the layers into the story, “Can Becky recapture her magic?” and “With the IIconics and Carmella together, can they keep a deathgrip on the title?” Because Carmella is at least a great character, although annoying at times. This protects her rough in ring ability a little and can add to the heat.

Match 4:

Singles Match

Bobby Lashley vs Kevin Owens

With his on-again and off again best friend in Money in the Bank, Kevin Owens looks to get even with Bobby Lashley. But first, the stupid interview with Bobby Lashley, doesn’t go down the way it, okay? Instead, the interview focuses more on why Bobby Lashley came back to WWE? There, he brings up that he left WWE after he had an injury after failing to win the WWE Championship. We use that big loss as the reason he left. The company lost faith in him and he was released. Since then, he brings up that he focused on MMA and wrestled along the side where he grew as a person. He matured, became a better fighter, more appreciative of his opportunities and desired to make the most of them and that work was enough for GM Kurt Angle to take notice and rehire him to WWE and he wants to do one thing he never did, get to the top of WWE. No “I love my Sisters BS” just simple, I had a big loss and got hurt at a terrible time, had to get released, went away, matured, and now I’m back to not waste any more opportunities. Then Kevin Owens, wishing to avenge his loss, fires back, mocking Bobby Lashley for his “sob story.” He attacks him after a match, Powerbombing him onto the stage and him on the Kevin and Sami show, mocks him even more, forcing Lashley to come out, and just barely not get his hands on Kevin Owens and that leads to this one on one match.

Winner:

Bobby Lashley with the Dominator (Inverted Front Powerslam)

Hard not to have Bobby win. He needs his first singles PPV win after returning. Kevin Owens, given what happened at Backlash, even though he needs a win, we need to at least present him in a feud as competent compared to Lashley and a competitor.

Match 5:

Triple Threat Tag Team Match

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs The Bar vs The Bludgeon Brothers (c)

Harper and Rowan are tag team champions and they call for a bludgeoning for the Smackdown Tag Team Division. The Bar and the New Day continue their squabbles between each other, and they have two matches. The first, much like real life, determine who will allow a member to enter Money in the Bank. New Day wins, and Big E and his hips that simply don’t lie will enter the match, and that leaves the high-flying New Day members left. The next is The Bar vs the New Day in a number one contenders match. Except, before a conclusion is reached, the Bludgeon Brothers enter, forcing a Disqualification, but New Day and The Bar force them off, before Sheamus and Cesaro lay out New Day to keep themselves as heels. The match is made a Triple Threat tag team match.

Winners:

The Bludgeon Brothers after a Killer Bomb (referring it to what KES calls it) on Kofi Kingston.

Match 6:

Triple Threat

Raw Women’s Championship Match

Natalya vs Mickie James vs Nia Jax (c)

Let’s take two veterans who are reliable workers, and intertwine their storyline with the Raw Women’s Champion who has a unique look and power, but is hit and miss in the ring. Last time I checked, Natalya is buddy with our MMA buddy who is surprisingly solid in the ring for her experience. Then we take Mickie James who, after her friend got hurt by the powerhouse champion, wants payback. Then adding the Submission specialists’ problems with Mickie James and Alexa Bliss, they can get Natalya in the match. The idea is that Alexa Bliss comes on Raw with her arm in a sling, showing her injury. She continues to press the whole Bully thing, but then Nia Jax doesn’t interrupt her, Ronda and Natalya do. They can basically say she had it coming to her, Ronda can threaten to break her other arm, then the heels walk away. The next week on Raw, we can have Natalya be scheduled to face against Mickie James, but the former Women’s Champion can lay Natalya before the match begins. Ronda runs down, Mickie runs away, then Nia stops them, throws Mickie in the ring, Ronda does her Samoan Drop move on her. Then the match is made with Nia Jax vs Natalya vs Mickie James, after Ronda lets Natalya have a title shot as she still wants to “have more matches so she truly earns the title.”

Winner:

Nia Jax via a Samoan Drop on Mickie James.

Hopefully the two can help elevate Nia to a solid match. But for now, I’d rather have Nia lose to someone lose a bit later. A face beating a face champion is a little off, and right now, while Mickie James is still one of the better people on the roster, she is at a stage in her career where she should be used to elevate the next generation. We can have Ronda rush out and chase Alexa Bliss away, and Natalya can shake Nia’s hand, and Ronda can simply stare at the title, smirking (or point if she feels like it).

Match 7:

Stretcher Match

Big Cass Vs Daniel Bryan

Going off that assault, we use that as a storyline injury to Daniel Bryan. He is visibly taped for his MITB qualifier against our favourite Bulgarian, Rusev, and loses on Rusev Day (just like real life except the injury is sold more). The next week Big Cass has his own qualifier against Brother Nero (Jeff Hardy) and before it, he basically unloads on Daniel Bryan, showing anger at being “embarrassed” at Backlash by a “Little man,” so he feels completely justified in attacking him, and he even takes partial credit for costing Daniel Bryan his chance at “Another Cinderella Story.” During the match, Cass throws around the US Champion, before Daniel Bryan’s music plays, and he doesn’t come out. Hardy catches him with a roll-up, advances. This genuinely pisses off Big Cass and a match is booked next week on Smackdown between the two. This time, Big Cass wins by countout, Big Booting him over the barricade, and Daniel can’t get back in the ring. The officials check on him, and Big Cass tries for another attack, which Shane interrupts, threatening to Suspend Cass for it, and Big Cass responds with saying “You suspend me, I’ll make sure the next time I see Daniel Bryan he won’t leave the arena on his own two feet.” Which inspires them to make a Stretcher Match between the two, as long as Big Cass does not touch him until the event.

Winner:

Daniel Bryan

With Daniel Bryan’s comeback story, it’d be hard to make him lose too much so far. Plus I feel as though it is possible to give Big Cass another role to build him (maybe someone’s muscle that can talk) and especially in a Stretcher Match where he can’t tap out or get pinned, this protects him a little. It's a bit of a shame as Big Cass can talk, and has potential, just he is not there yet. Daniel can hit a flying knee to knock him on a stretcher and push him past the line to win.

Match 8:

10 Man-Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Roman Reigns vs Finn Balor vs Braun Strowman vs Sami Zayn vs The Miz vs Rusev vs Big E vs Andrade “Cien” Almas vs Seth Rollins vs Jeff Hardy

For the men’s Money in the Bank, these are the ten I picked. There was a ten man MITB before, and really, it’s be different to do it again, plus we need some worthy people on this card. With the Big Dog, I will have this be the start of an official heel turn, with him after beating Joe challenging Brock, but Kurt Angle has to tell him his Princess is in another Castle and Roman goes full blown conspiracy theorist and becomes very obsessed with beating Brock Lesnar. So he sees Money in the Bank the only way he can challenge Brock “When he finally shows up.” Then we have Finn Balor who still wishes to have the Universal Title match he never got after losing it by injury, Braun who simply wants to cause destruction, then finally on Raw, Sami Zayn, who is craving a world title. Then there is The Miz, who wants to bring prestige to the WWE Championship just like he did with the IC title, Rusev who wants to win Rusev in the Bank on Rusev Day. As for, I will use the concept of a Bar vs New Day qualifier which will be on Smackdown the week of me writing this, and his partners will pick Big E as his hips don’t lie. As for Andrade “Cien” Almas, he wins a qualification match his first night and this will be a great showcase for the debuting EL IDOLO. Then we have two champions in Seth Rollins and Jeff Hardy who are looking to add gold to their collection (plus a Swanton off a Ladder, and/or a Frog Splash/Pheonix Splash would be fun)

Winner:

Finn Balor, last knocking off THE BIG DOG

While I think they stripped him of a fair amount of character over the past while, I am hoping that this can be a chance for him to build it up again. At least show the drive to get his title back. In the build-up, with the thought of a Universal Title match, he starts to smile a little less, may be replaced with a smirk. Slowly shift his character to being confident, but not over the top cocky and just use some aspects of his character from New Japan (and even NXT) which gave him appeal. Plus, we can tease him cashing in either title. Since the Universal Championship, he never got a rematch for, and the WWE Championship (as you will see in my main event) is being contested by AJ Styles, another former BC leader, Shinsuke Nakamura, a fellow NJPW allum, and Samoa Joe, an NXT rival. Both options for titles make complete sense which adds a nice layer of unpredictability. When it comes to why others don’t win. The Miz was my secondary choice, but I chose Finn as The Miz is already a star and has a feud with Daniel Bryan coming soon probably. Then Big E and Almas aren’t at the main event WWE title level yet, Rusev, I feel bad for the guy, but he needs to be seen as better than Mid-card to give him it. Sami Zayn right now needs more wins to be built up more and is in a pair with KO. Seth Rollins and Jeff Hardy are champions atm. Then for Roman…We need to build his anger and hunger. Because in this, if we pick to build off our previous events along with this, this will lead him to a turn as an official heel.

Main Event:

Triple Threat Match

WWE Championship

Samoa Joe vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles (c)

Let’s get this feud ended, for now, and transition into new ones. The idea is the Smackdown after Backlash, Paige and Shane are in the ring to advertise the qualifying matches for this week and next week, then AJ Styles comes out, asking out the finish that happened at Backlash. He basically doesn’t want to “end on that,” maybe they can poke fun at the freaking fact that AJ doesn’t wear a cup yet, and Shinsuke comes out. AJ tries to get his attention and Shinsuke is about to say his signature catchphrases, AJ cuts him off and basically unleashes verbally. He basically outlines that “Shinsuke, we’ve known each other since Japan, and I respected you. When I found out you joined WWE just after me, I was ecstatic, but what happened? You’re not the King of Strong Style anymore, you’re the goddman Nutcracker.” Then Shinsuke snaps, not hitting him below the belt (save that for the match if you want) and security breaks it up. Match is made a singles match at first.

How Samoa Joe fits in, is he has a MITB qualifier, but he loses by DQ, being pissed off after his loss to the Big Dog and refuses to let go of the Coquina Clutch after his opponent’s foot is on the ropes. He then goes in the office of either Paige or Shane that night and, rather than ask for a spot in MITB, says he wants to “cut the chase and go straight to the title.” But, after his actions, Shane and Paige want him to “earn it” and Samoa Joe targets Styles the next week when he is meant to go in a tag team match (Let’s say Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles vs Shinsuke and Shelton Benjamin) and AJ Styles, building up that emotional side of him, asks Shane and Paige to insert him into the match so he can get his hands on him also.

Winner:

Shinsuke Nakamura after a Kinsasha to AJ Styles, Samoa Joe was knocked out to the outside from a forearm from AJ and doesn’t get into the ring.

Ideally, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles feud as Smackdown’s secondary feud and Shinsuke faces a new challenger for a few months as Champion. With Shinsuke becoming champion, it finally validates his heel run, with the Triple Threat adding a new and exciting layer into a match which we have seen too much over the past while.

Problem with fantasy booking is that most of the time you prefer your own booking to what is actually being booked irl

Yes, but our cards aren't being booked irl. All of our cards are different in some way than the real MITB show.
