The show opens with Stephanie McMahon in the ring. She said that Paul Heyman really wanted Edge on Smackdown, and fought hard to get him. She said there was only one man on Smackdown who would make her give up Edge, and she brings that man out and it's.....KURT ANGLE! Angle makes his way down to the ring to a HUGE pop. He tanks Stephanie, and says he looks forward to being on the A show.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Lance Cade defeated Christopher Daniels in 10:22 by pinfall with a Sitout Side Slam Spinebuster.

Kurt is seen backstage, when Kenta Kobashi walks up to him, and explains he needs a tag partner tonight, and quite possibly next week as well. Saying how tonight he needs someone to help him beat Hunter and Shawn. Where the winning team will face off against Undertaker and a partner of his choice next week. Angle thinks about it for a few seconds, before agreeing

In a decent match, Bobby Lashley defeated Dustin Rhodes and Mark Henry in 13:29 when Bobby Lashley defeated Mark Henry by pinfall. Bobby Lashley makes defence number 6 of his WWE Intercontinental title.

Two Best Friends
Triple H and Shawn are backstage, and talk about tonight, talk about how Kurt needs to mind his own business and stay out of what's going on, and not to get in Hunter's way of getting back what is rightfully his, the World Title.

A pissed off Kenta Kobashi
Kenta Kobashi is backstage in his locker room PISSED off, as someone has stolen something very personal from him, as officals try and calm him down for his match coming up very soon. But he's FURIOUS as it's something that is very speical to him and has been like a good luck charm since coming to the WWE.

Chris Jericho vs Bully Ray
In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Bully Ray defeated Chris Jericho in 10:09 by pinfall with a Bubba Bomb.

Kurt Angle and Kenta Kobashi vs Triple H and Shawn Michaels
In an exceptional match, Kenta Kobashi and Kurt Angle defeated Triple H and Shawn Michaels in 25:13 when Kurt Angle defeated Triple H by submission.
Kurt Angle was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.
