NXT Updates (Wednesday):

Andrade "Cien" Almas faced off against Noam Dar in the opener and came out a victor. Later on in the night, a lady by the name of Zelina Vega introduced herself to Andrade, letting him know she can take him to the next level. Andrade appears skeptical, but intrigued by the offer.

Dijak picks up a very quick win over Kona Reeves.

Jaxon Thielen and Logan Brigman went against Cedric Alexander and Moose for the NXT Tag Team Championships, but fell short as Brigman is hit with a G2H and Alexander lands a beautiful frog splash from the top and Thielen is blocked from breaking the pin. And to note, Josh "The Goods" Woods and "Filthy" Tom Lawlor had front-row seats to the match and afterwards, stood up to signify they had Alexander and Moose in their sights.

Shayna Baszler made her intentions clear by tapping out Lacey Evans quickly and calling out NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane. Sane responds, making a title match official for next week.

After last week's interaction, Adam Cole went one-on-one with Keith Lee in the main event and Cole fell short in this match, thanks to Keith Lee hitting a Spirit Bomb.

News Update:
WWE is currently in their inaugural Cruiserweight Classic to determine a Cruiserweight Champion, hosting 64 of the hottest cruiserweight talents in the world. And the rumor is to build an entire division for WWE to use moving forward. It's unclear whether it will be on Raw, SmackDown, or NXT. With that said, WWE are already securing contracts with talents in hopes to use them either for their cruiserweight division or their developmental program.

Via social media and various sources, we can confirm Round of 64 exits Mustafa Ali and Shane Strickland have signed deals with WWE.

More is expected to come as the tournament continues.

MAY 13 2018 ~ VENGEANCE (presented by RAW)

Vengeance begins with a huge set of pyro to hype the crowd in attendance! As the commentary trio briefly highlight the big ticket matches, fans get excited for Hell in a Cell's return, the Intercontinental Title showdown between Neville and Finn Balor, while we crown a new WWE Champion at the end of the tournament. But up first, Baron Corbin and Daniel Bryan have been placed in preliminary matches prior to the main event. Up first, it's Daniel Bryan and Kane. As Bryan enters the ring first and awaits his opponent, Vince McMahon's music hits instead!

"Why is Vince out here now? He was scheduled to appear later tonight!" - Tyson Kidd

Vince gets to the ring and tells Daniel Bryan he didn't see Daniel Bryan ever competing for the WWE Championship, and then WrestleMania 30 happened. Mr. McMahon said he wasn't a believer, especially coming back from a neck injury last year, but now he's in the main event once again for the title. Vince wishes him luck, and cancels his match against Kane next. Vince tells Bryan to get out before he changes his mind, so Bryan heads to the back. Vince also cancels Brock Lesnar versus Baron Corbin, as Corbin and Bryan need to focus on their WWE Championship match. Stephanie's music hit and she tells her dad the matches are still on because she's running the show, and Vince bluntly told her she wasn't doing a good job at it. Vince says he partook in a board meeting a couple weeks ago and they agreed there needs to be a new direction for the WWE, and it's not The Authority. Vince announces a WWE Draft taking place next week on May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd with Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Raw and SmackDown will be used to draft the current main roster, while NXT will be used to draft prospects and acquire free agents. Vince officially tells Stephanie she will no longer be needed after this week. Stephanie is furious but leaves to a 'Yes' chant from the crowd. Vince says since he's canceled two matches, up first is the WWE Tag Team Championships triple threat match!

Vince heads to the back and lets The Usos and Depths of Despair walk out. Backstage, Vince runs into The Revival who aren't ready and throwing their boots on. Wilder and Dawson blame Vince, as they aren't ready to defend their titles an hour earlier than scheduled. Vince shrugged and told them to go out there or forfeit their titles.

The Revival(c) vs. Depths of Despair vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships
The Revival were still lacing their boots and taping their wrists to the ring, and their lack of prep time hurt them greatly. The Revival were either attacked by The Usos or DoD or they cowered away trying to their bearings. Depths of Despair looked good, but against two of the best and more experienced teams, they had their moments of weakness. The Usos gave it their all but Akam and Rezar took over, and with no Revival in sight, DoD looks to win the titles with a Super Collider on The Usos! But as soon as Jey and Jimmy hit the mat, Dawson and Wilder snuck in and struck low-blows on Akam and Rezar respectively. Dawson and Wilder then shoved them out of the ring and pinned The Usos to retain the titles!

The Revival escape and immediately go for their titles as they run up the ramp, knowing they stole one to keep their titles, ones they've held all-but-six-days since October.

The commentary team highlights what was shown on the kickoff earlier tonight. Scarstruck comes into the arena and is told by Stephanie they'll have a tag team match tonight against Charlotte and Nikki Cross. When they were opposed to it, Stephanie says the winner faces Paige in a triple threat tomorrow night for the Women's Championship.

Up to tonight, Charlotte arrives in a bad mood and Nikki Cross runs up to her partner. Charlotte tells Nikki Cross the only reason she's here is to regain her Women's Championship and tells Nikki to stay out of her way tonight.

Cesaro vs. Emperor Roman Reigns
This match between two powerhouses was hard-hitting and The Emperor even got a bloody nose because of a stiff punch, that further irritated Reigns. Towards the end, The Emperor has Cesaro where he wants him, on the mat, as he continues to push his face down. Cesaro then sweeps the feet out from under Reigns and begins a Cesaro Swing! Cesaro finally lets up and catches his own balance before he cranks his neck and goes for the Neutralizer, but Reigns counters in a back-body drop. Cesaro gets up and hit straight with an Emperor Punch that rocks him and Reigns finishes him off with a Spear before counting 3.

After the match, Emperor Roman Reigns admires his work and kneels before Cesaro, holding up a "1."

Backstage, Charly Caruso catches Baron Corbin and asks the Lone Wolf about his match against Brock Lesnar being canceled. Corbin shrugs and says he has fought in the Tournament of Opportunity and he knows Lesnar is upset about not being in the match, but he's had his opportunity. Corbin mentions if Lesnar never got his opportunity against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 19, he wouldn't be Brock Lesnar. Corbin says it's his time. Charly asks his thoughts about Daniel Bryan, and Corbin gives Bryan credit for defying the odds at WrestleMania 30, but he hasn't got back to the top for a reason, and he'll be the reason tonight. Caruso thanks Corbin for his time and he starts to walk away when he's blindsided from the other side... it's Brock Lesnar! Lesnar throws Corbin around, hitting wall to wall, crate to crate, and hits a series of German Suplexes as backstage crew are afraid to get in Lesnar's way. Lesnar then hits an F-5 onto a crate, hitting Corbin right in the ribs, leaving one-half of tonight's main event holding their ribs on the backstage floor.

Charlotte and Nikki Cross vs. Scarstruck
Charlotte has much of the match under control and is taking care of business on her own until she has Billie Kay in the Figure Eight but Peyton Royce dropkicks Charlotte in the face. Nikki Cross goes off on Peyton Royce as Charlotte holds her face but Billie Kay tries rolling Charlotte up, which Charlotte kicks out. Charlotte then hits a Big Boot on Billie Kay and backs up for Natural Selection, but Nikki Cross tags herself in! Cross climbs on the top rope and hits a crossbody on Billie Kay and transitions into a double underhook crossface, calling it Cross-Eye, and Billie Kay taps!

After Nikki Cross gets the win, Charlotte attacks her partner. Charlotte hits the Natural Selection and lays Nikki Cross out in the ring, signaling a title around her waist as she eyes the Women's Championship again.

Charly Caruso provides an update outside the trainer's room that Baron Corbin is being evaluated now and his status for tonight's WWE Championship main event is uncertain.

A quick recap of how we got to the next match, the Intercontinental Championship, is shown with a newfound attitude Neville returning to Raw after a torn Achilles and eyeing Balor's title.

Finn Balor(c) vs. Neville for the Intercontinental Championship
Balor and Neville put on a wrestling clinic and this was not for the feint of heart either as Neville introduced hard-hitting to the match and Balor was rattled. Balor was on a streak with a Slingblade and a dropkick before going up to the top rope and trying for the Coup de Grace, but Neville rolls out of the way and as Balor sets up on the other side of the ring, Neville hits a corner dropkick of his own! Neville goes up and tries for the Black Arrow but Balor also moves out of the way and both collide at the center of the ring. Balor then hits a Pele Kick that drops Neville on his back and Balor goes for another Coup de Grace but Neville rolls out of the way a second time and locks in the Rings of Saturn. Neville wrenches and as Balor is almost at the ropes, Neville readjusts and gets further away from the ropes. Balor fights and wills himself but he loses consciousness... the official calls for the bell!

A NEW Intercontinental Champion! Neville sits next to Balor until he's handed the Intercontinental Championship. Neville stands up and goes to the ropes taunting fans in the front about his newly won title, one that hasn't been let out of Balor's hands for a near 6 months. The official tries helping Balor come to after passing out in the submission hold and Balor doesn't understand what's going on while Neville celebrates.

A promo is aired for the next Raw-exclusive event Extreme Rules next month on June 24th. The commentary trio of Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Tyson Kidd mention that the landscape of Raw will look different by then due to the Draft announcement earlier this evening by Vince McMahon, and they mention themselves might not be on Monday nights after!

A recap is shown of Paige winning a title rebranded as the Women's Championship and introduced Rubi Riot for a new women's era, which the Bella Twins took exception to as they ran the Divas Era. Mentioned is Paige has a title defense tomorrow night against Nikki Cross and Charlotte, but now has a tag team match.

Bella Twins vs. Paige and Rubi Riot
This match doesn't take long and everyone's shocked by how quickly Paige and Rubi Riot are flustering the Bella Twins with a new arsenal of moves they have no answer for. Rubi hits a Riot Kick on Brie, as Paige follows with a Paige Turner on Nikki to win this match in under 6 minutes.

Afterward, Paige and Rubi Riot celebrate after a dominant win over the Bella Twins while Charlotte's music hit and Charlotte comes to the stage to signify she'll be the Women's Champion tomorrow night on Raw as a result to the triple threat tomorrow.

Headed to the first Hell in a Cell Match in three years, we take a look at the rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton that comes to an end tonight, one month after John Cena's triumph at WrestleMania for his 17th world championship.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton inside Hell in a Cell
Cena and Orton gave it their all in this devastating match. Orton begins the match very methodical and vindictive, even having a gruesome moment of putting the backside of a hammer across the face of Cena. It didn't take long for Orton to get busted open when Cena tapped into another gear and Orton got hit just right with the steel steps. Towards the end, Orton had Ce-Nation over with as he gets Cena in the ring after just throwing Cena off the top rope and through a table on the outside. Orton picks Cena up and on the bottom half of the steps in the ring, Orton hits an RKO on top of it! Rather going for the pin, Orton stalks Cena and decides to put Cena over with a Punt Kick, but Cena moves out of the way and locks in the STF! Orton tries getting to the ropes, but Cena reaches for a nearby crowbar and uses that as leverage. Orton pushes against the crowbar and rolls out of the STF. Cena and Orton get to their feet and Orton charges for Cena, who lifts him up on his shoulders for an AA on the bottom steps, but as Cena puts the AA in motion, Orton counters into an RKO! The arena hears Cena's skull crashing on the steel and just falling right beside it. Orton shoves the steps out of the way and pulls Cena's arm in from the ropes and hooks the outside leg and the official counts the 3 right next to the ropes.

Randy Orton's music hits and The Viper sits beside his handiwork and scoots in the corner by Cena as the Hell in a Cell is raised. Orton walks slowly to the back, feeling the effects but also soaking in the moment. However, Cena is helped to the back by a couple people letting Cena walk out with assistance.

Michael Cole, Tyson Kidd, and Corey Graves recap what happened earlier this evening with Baron Corbin's match against Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan's match against Kane being scrapped from the card due to Vince McMahon, which preluded a big WWE Draft announcement. They then show where Lesnar attacked Corbin and now, he is scheduled to face off in the main event for the WWE Championship, concluding the Tournament of Opportunity. Highlights show what Bryan and Corbin had to go through, including Corbin defeating Emperor Reigns and Bryan defeating Big Show, who replaced Braun Strowman, in the semifinals. Bryan heads to the ring first and awaits his opponent, who doesn't come out on the bike, but limps out with his ribs taped up from the assault from Brock Lesnar earlier.

Baron Corbin vs. Daniel Bryan for the vacant WWE Championship
Bryan's conflicted most of this match, knowing his opponent is hurting from Brock Lesnar's attack earlier, but understanding what's at stake for the WWE Championship - a title he hasn't held in four years. Bryan's working on the ribs and using striking kicks and submission moves to target the weak area, while Corbin is displaying strength and resilience to figure out what it takes to become champion. Bryan has Corbin in position for the Yes kicks and lands a few before Corbin catches Bryan, stands up, and pulls Bryan in for a clothesline. Corbin goes off on Bryan and looks to put Bryan away with the End of Days, but Bryan counters in the Yes Lock. Bryan can't get it all the way in before Corbin extends his leg for the ropes. Bryan lets go as Corbin slides on the outside and Bryan tries a suicide dive, but is caught with a forearm strike. Corbin then wraps himself around the ring post and comes back in for a clothesline, but Bryan ducks it and Bryan utilizes the arm drag. Bryan then gets in position for a Knee-Plus, but Corbin counters into a Deep Six! Bryan rolls outside and Corbin can't make the cover, but he holds his ribs trying to catch his breath.

Stephanie McMahon comes out to the stage with a microphone in hand. Stephanie announces she is still in charge and made a signing this afternoon for an in-ring talent. In that person's contract, it states he has one obligated world title opportunity whenever he chooses. As a future Hall of Famer, it's her husband, TRIPLE H! Triple H makes his way out dressed for action and this match is restarted as a triple threat, and there must be a winner.

Triple H heads down and throws Bryan into the steel steps and stomps away before looking inside at Baron Corbin. Triple H grabs a sledgehammer from underneath the ring and goes inside and Corbin tries fighting him off, but Triple H picks the sledgehammer back up and nails Corbin in the ribs with no disqualification. Triple H lays a few more in the back before picking Corbin up and landing a Spinebuster. The fans are booing at this point and a couple fans threw trash in the ring that the official has to clear up. Triple H goes for the Pedigree on Corbin, but Daniel Bryan rushes in and hits a Knee-Plus! Triple H drops and rolls to the outside, trying to figure out where he is when Bryan tries a suicide dive and as he comes back, Baron Corbin catches Bryan with the End of Days! Corbin hooks the leg and Triple H pulls the official out of the ring at two and decks him. Corbin stands up with a hand on his ribs and Triple H goes in and knees him right in the ribs before hitting a Pedigree. Stephanie emerges back at the stage and rushes an official to the ring as Triple H gets a deep pin with both legs hooked and the official counts three.

Triple H's music hits but you can hear the boos trying to compete. Triple H has stolen the WWE Championship with no remorse. And a sight not seen in nearly a decade is shown, The Game on top of the world as Vengeance comes to a close.

MAY 14 2018 ~ MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Raw starts with Stephanie McMahon introducing the brand new WWE Champion after last night's controversial finish, her husband and the COO, Triple H. Triple H confidently strolls to the ring in a suit with the WWE Championship on his shoulder. Triple H referenced Plan B and said it still works four years later. Triple H said Bryan will never be WWE Champion and Corbin missed his opportunity, and it's too bad for them. Stephanie says it's her last week in charge of Raw and SmackDown, so she's made the most of it, leaving WWE in a much better place. Stephanie praises herself and Triple H as the best authority figures in WWE history when Dean Ambrose's music hits. Ambrose calls Stephanie out for not being the best, but being two pricks. Ambrose goes off on their abuse of power, their favoritism, and the ratings failing to soar. Ambrose is interrupted by Triple H who sticks up for his wife and himself, saying Ambrose is jealous because he's chased the WWE Championship for a while and has yet to climb to the top. Stephanie chimes in and lets Ambrose know he can prove he's a quality wrestler by competing against Rusev right now. Ambrose nods and says he needs to warm up first before tackling Triple H and pounding on top of the WWE Champion. Ambrose continues before he pulls Triple H up and catches a side heel kick... it's Rusev! Stephanie demands an official down to the ring to start the match.

Dean Ambrose vs. Rusev w/Lana
After the blindside kick, Rusev had control and wouldn't let up. Ambrose then tripped Rusev into a draped position on the ropes and the match became a more balanced match. Ambrose finishes Rusev off with a Dirty Deeds, sending a message to WWE Champion Triple H and the higher ups.

Advertised for tonight's final Raw before next week's WWE Draft, Paige defends the Women's Championship against Charlotte and Nikki Cross in a triple threat. In addition, Emperor Roman Reigns and Cesaro compete in a rematch from last night.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman interrupt the announcements for tonight as they're irate over what's transpired. Heyman informs everyone that Lesnar was given a task by Stephanie McMahon herself to *not* take out Baron Corbin last night, but to put him at a deficit against Daniel Bryan, and they did just that. Heyman says Lesnar was told to await in his locker room and at the right moment, he would be brought out as a surprise entrant into the match, but instead, it was Triple H. Heyman demands Brock Lesnar receive a WWE Title match right now. After moments of waiting, nobody comes out. Heyman then breaks the news that the WWE Draft next week, Lesnar is officially withdrawing his name from the pool.

After a commercial break, the commentary trio react to the announcement Brock Lesnar is no longer in the WWE Draft pool for next week, saying it is a big blow for both Raw and SmackDown.

Depths of Despair vs. The Usos
After both teams lost last night at Vengeance to The Revival, they competed for bragging rights and to stay in contention, as it was a Super Collider for D.o.D. to win the match and officially defeat all the competition aside from The Revival.

Rubi Riot comes to Stephanie McMahon and considering her recent success, she wants to be added to the Women's Championship match tonight for a Fatal-4 Way. Stephanie laughs and denies Rubi Riot her request.

Bobby Lashley vs. Jason Jordan
Trying to prove their worth headed into next week's WWE Draft, Lashley and Jordan collide and after a great effort by Jordan, Lashley finishes with a Spear.

Charly Caruso catches up with Dean Ambrose who makes it clear that he'll be coming for Triple H and the WWE Championship.

Randy Orton heads to the ring and boasts about killing the legend of John Cena last night inside Hell in a Cell. Orton addresses the ones making picks next week, saying he's at the top of his game and deserves to be picked #1 overall. Orton also, on that note, says he deserves another run at the top. Orton notices he has 9 WWE Championship reigns, and so does his mentor Triple H. Orton lays the challenge down he'd like nothing more than to win his tenth from The Game.

Women's Champion Paige was ready for her title match up next when Rubi Riot comes by to go out with her. Paige gives Rubi the stop sign, saying she heard Rubi's comments earlier this evening, trying to weasel her way into the title match tonight. Paige tells Rubi Riot she can do this all by herself, uninviting Rubi from ringside as Paige walks to the curtain.

Paige(c) vs. Charlotte vs. Nikki Cross for the WWE Women's Championship
Paige was at a deficit as Charlotte's athleticism and Nikki's wild card factor were giving Paige troubles, especially in several near falls Paige had to break up. At the end however, Charlotte began putting a Figure Eight on Nikki Cross, but got caught from behind and was hit with the Paige Turner by Paige before the champion went to Nikki and locked in the PTO, forcing Nikki Cross to tap out.

In the parking lot we see Vince McMahon arrive. Vince McMahon is confronted by Charly Caruso about his reason for being here tonight, and Vince announces he has an announcement to make regarding the new General Manager of Raw.

Finn Balor vs. Tyler Breeze
24 hours after losing his Intercontinental Championship, Balor bounces back and finishes Breeze with a Coup de Grace.

After the match is over, Balor takes the mic to say he understands the Draft occurs next week. He also understands he has a rematch in his contract. Balor announces he's using that rematch next week on Monday Night Raw. Balor tells the people drafting if they want the Intercontinental Champion on their show, take him!

WWE Tag Team Champions The Revival are bragging of their title retention last night, making them known to run through the entire division on Raw. The Revival wish they get new competition as result of the Draft, but the result is going to be the same because of their throwback wrestling style reviving true tag team wrestling. The Revival then get blindsided by Akam and Rezar, as the Depths of Despair battle The Revival out to the ringside area before laying Dawson and Wilder out with their Super Collider. Akam and Rezar both go up to the ramp where The Revival dropped their titles and hold them up as a sign they're not done chasing the champions.

Cesaro vs. Emperor Roman Reigns
Much like last night's match, Cesaro and Reigns both made cases for the Draft next week but as Reigns looks to end the match in the same way with an Emperor Punch, Cesaro counters in a Very European Uppercut and quickly goes for the Neutralizer, but Reigns counters and goes for a Spear, which Cesaro leaps over and hits another uppercut before hitting the Neutralizer and winning the match.

Advertised for next week is the Intercontinental Championship rematch between Finn Balor and Neville. In addition, another title match has been announced with the Depths of Despair getting a traditional tag team match (finally) against The Revival. Plus, after the commercial break is Vince McMahon's announcement for a Raw General Manager!

Vince McMahon comes and continues advertising next week's historical 3-day WWE Draft and admits for the draft to happen effectively, someone must be drafting for the shows. Vince says he holds in his hand a contract to make this person the next Raw General Manager. Vince is then interrupted by Stephanie McMahon and WWE Champion Triple H. Stephanie comes to inform her dad that his announcement won't be necessary. Stephanie says she wasted no time after the WWE Draft announcement and took matters into her own hands to make certain Raw is in good hands. Vince is confused as Stephanie announces the newest GM of Raw... JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD! The fans boo as JBL comes out and shakes the hand of Stephanie and Triple H, while his handshake gesture to Vince is ignored. JBL promises Vince he will be the best General Manager of Raw anyone has ever seen. Vince shakes his head and tells Stephanie this is fine, because the person to be announced tonight, will instead be announced tomorrow as the GM of SmackDown and Vince wishes JBL an disingenuous good luck. Vince throws the mic down as JBL tries to talk to Vince before Triple H is turned around and hit with Dirty Deeds! Ambrose lays out the WWE Champion! Ambrose rolls out just as quickly as he came in and runs through the crowd, stopping at the top of the stairs to see Stephanie and JBL checking on Triple H as Raw goes off the air.

MAY 15 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!

SmackDown! begins with the ring set up for the Peep Show and here's WWE Universal Champion Christian with Tomko as Christian takes a minute to boast in his title retention last week against Shinsuke Nakamura, putting that pest away. Christian explains he contacted Vince at 11:01 PM eastern last night to ask for his announcement on the Peep Show of the new SmackDown General Manager, and Mr. McMahon agreed. Christian invites the Chairman to the ring to a pop. Vince chuckles and thanks Christian for the opportunity, but Christian returns and thanks Vince instead. Vince honestly says he might not thank him afterward. Vince says he was making this person the General Manager of Raw, but after last night's events, he will be taking over the reigns of SmackDown and it ends up being a better fit. Vince says he made his name on SmackDown and is a former world champion, but most notably, well... hit his music. IT'S KURT ANGLE! Christian's heart drops as Kurt Angle comes in a suit and a huge ovation. The same man who was retired by the Universal Champion is now the General Manager of SmackDown. Christian begins pitching a fit before Angle shuts Christian up and says he holds no grudges, with a wink. Angle says his first order of business is to announce a match for June 3rd's No Mercy pay-per-view. No matter how the Draft shakes out, Christian defends the WWE Universal Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura with no outside interference because Tomko is suspended! Christian is irate as he begins to put his hands on Kurt, before Angle reminds Christian he is the boss now. Christian calms down as Angle makes one more announcement for tonight, it's Christian one-on-one with Sheamus.

Dezmond Xavier & Tashard Wiggins vs. Ortiz & Santana w/Alberto Del Rio
Ortiz and Santana look impressive, but Xavier and Wiggins were giving them a run for their money as the fans got into it for some faster paced tag action. This ended abruptly as Wiggins landed awkwardly on the outside and Ortiz and Santana quickly end the match by hitting Street Sweeper on Dezmond. After the match, Wiggins is tended to and helped to the back.

United States Champion Shelton Benjamin is backstage watching on as he's disappointed they can't get the job done, not focused on the health of Tashard Wiggins. Kurt Angle then comes by and Benjamin welcomes Angle back to WWE and congratulates him on the promotion. Angle accepts it and asks Benjamin if he's got his gear tonight, and when he responds he does, he puts Benjamin in a title match against Kofi Kingston, a rematch from last week. Benjamin says it wasn't his fault Ortiz and Santana got involved, but Angle responds with it not being Kofi's either, and he wants a determined champion after tonight.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Michael Bennett w/Maria
The self-proclaimed Silver Medalist came up in second place again as Ziggler hits the Zig-Zag and embarrasses Bennett in front of his wife.

Carmella is with Matrons Champion Tessa Blanchard, talking about various things, one being the WWE Draft next week. Blanchard and Carmella hope they're on the same show next week, but if not, they know they can spread the wealth amongst WWE. They then talk about tonight's tag team match being Carmella's debut, as Tessa hypes Carmella up to do great things. And Carmella asks the odds of who will go for her title next, Banks or Lynch, and they both laugh as Tessa says they can fight it out for the privilege to lose to The Diamond.

Shelton Benjamin(c) vs. Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship
Kofi Kingston was rolling on all cylinders before Benjamin blocks the ref's vision and kicks Kofi from behind, before hitting a T-Bone Suplex and retaining the championship.

The New Day head to the ring protesting the decision, but the official isn't listening, as Benjamin gets away with it and remains United States Champion.

After a commercial break, Cody Rhodes comes to the ring and has a moment to acknowledge his win over Mr. Money in the Bank last week, Kevin Owens. Cody says it was more than just beating Owens, or beating a future world champion, but it was for his father and it was for months of Owens disrespecting the legacy of The American Dream. Elias Samson interrupts Cody and laughs at Cody whining in the ring about his father's legacy, when Cody hasn't done anything to live up to it. Elias holds up a zero to represent the number of world titles Cody has won. Cody tells Elias to come in the ring and put up or go to the back and shut up.

Cody Rhodes vs. Elias Samson
This match goes by quick as Cody puts Elias away with Cross-Rhodes.

Backstage, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks link up for their tag team match next.

Carmella & Tessa Blanchard vs. Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks
All four went as hard as they could, creating buzz before next week's draft, but also getting their grudges on the mat. At the end, Tessa was in trouble with Sasha Banks in the Bank Statement but Carmella came and saved the day, breaking up the hold and locking in Code of Silence before Sasha begins tapping out, but Carmella isn't the legal partner. Carmella lets go and lays Tessa over Carmella as she holds off Lynch to win the match.

After the match, Carmella helps the Matrons Champion to the back as Lynch kneels beside Banks disappointed in tonight's result.

Shelton Benjamin is headed for the door clutching his United States Championship when Kurt Angle comes by and stops him. Angle lets Benjamin know that he needs to get ready to defend the title once again. Benjamin gets defensive before Angle announces it's a 20-man Battle Royal next week on SmackDown. Benjamin laughs and asks if he's drafted to Raw, but Angle shrugs and says next week is supershows so any roster determined on Monday can be on SmackDown.

Tom Phillips and JBL are shocked by the announcement of Kurt Angle as the General Manager and are impressed by his moves so far, including a 20-man Battle Royal made for the United States Championship next week! Also mentioned is the WWE Universal Championship match made official for No Mercy on June 3rd, Christian defending against Shinsuke Nakamura. They hype the WWE Draft next week before the main event right now.

Christian vs. Sheamus in a non-title match
Christian is getting pounded by Sheamus the entire match as Sheamus looks impressive. Sheamus goes to put the champion away with the Brogue Kick, but Christian ducks and rolls out of the ring, grabbing his title and ready to leave. Christian is walking by the ringside area and eats a Brogue Kick on the outside! Sheamus picks Christian up and rolls him inside ready to pin the WWE Universal Champion when the lights go out. When they come back on, Sheamus is hit with a Sister Abigail by Bray Wyatt and the bell is rung for.

Bray Wyatt stands before Sheamus as SmackDown goes off the air with the Eater of Worlds making sure he reminds JBL and Kurt Angle of his presence before next week's WWE Draft.

Via social media and various sources, we confirmed Mustafa Ali and Shane Strickland signed deals a couple weeks ago.

Now, we know several more names have signed with WWE. Angel Garza, Jordan Devlin, Kushida, Raul Mendoza, Roderick Strong, Tony Nese, and Zema Ion have all signed contracts to stay with the company.

More is expected to come as the tournament concludes, as we couldn't imagine the Final Four not being signed. It appears the company is waiting to sign, or at least announce, deals until they are finished in the Cruiserweight Classic.

MAY 21 2018 ~ MONDAY NIGHT RAW presents...

WWE-Draft-645x369-1.png

NIGHT ONE of the 2018 WWE DRAFT

Raw kicks off with the rules for the 2018 WWE Draft:
  • Every active superstar under a Raw or SmackDown contract is eligible to be drafted Nights 1 and 2
  • Women have specific rounds to be selected
  • Tag teams count as 1, but Trios count as 2 picks
  • Anyone not selected Nights 1 or 2 will join an undrafted free agent pool and will be eligible to sign anywhere

To determine who receives the first overall pick, JBL and Kurt Angle have representatives selected at random. For Raw, it was Emperor Roman Reigns. And for SmackDown, it was Sheamus.

Emperor Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus
For the rights to the #1 pick, Reigns and Sheamus gave it their all. Reigns got rocked by an Irish Curse backbreaker and after he was slow to get up, Sheamus went to town with the 10 smacks and the Celtic Cross. Sheamus gets ready for a Brogue Kick when WWE Universal Champion Christian hops the barricade and holds the foot of the Celtic Warrior, as Sheamus shakes Christian off, he stares at the champion before he's hit with an Emperor Punch, followed by a Spear, and Raw gets the #1 pick!

JBL emerges from the curtain smiling from ear-to-ear as he takes one side of the podium, and Kurt Angle takes the other as he is visibly upset over Christian costing SmackDown the opportunity at the #1 pick.

Monday Night Raw selects... Emperor Roman Reigns with the 1st overall pick.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Dean Ambrose with the 2nd overall pick.

After the selections, Dean Ambrose stands by with Renee Young who asks about his departure from Raw. Ambrose says he will miss Raw, but he's going back home to SmackDown where he won the first ever WWE Universal Championship. Ambrose makes it clear he has full intentions of climbing back to the top, and issues the challenge to Triple H for the WWE Championship at No Mercy.

Announced for tonight are the two title matches: Depths of Despair challenging The Revival for the tag titles and Finn Balor receiving his rematch against Intercontinental Champion Neville. Plus some cool dream matches include Bobby Lashley versus Cody Rhodes and Baron Corbin versus Bray Wyatt. But up next, The New Day face The Hardy Boyz.

The New Day w/Kofi Kingston vs. The Hardy Boyz
In perhaps the final match for both of these teams, pending the Draft, the two teams went to war and it ended with a Midnight Hour on Jeff Hardy for The New Day to emerge victorious.

As The New Day celebrate, Matt and Jeff Hardy get to their feet and shake the hands of The New Day after a dream match as the General Managers come to the ramp to announce their next picks.

Monday Night Raw selects... Baron Corbin with the 3rd overall pick.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Christian, WWE Universal Champion, with the 4th overall pick.

Monday Night Raw selects... Cody Rhodes with the 5th overall pick.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... John Cena with the 6th overall pick.

Cody Rhodes is backstage with Charly Caruso for his initial reaction being taken by Raw with the 5th overall pick. Cody begins tearing up as he thanks his father for putting him in this position and he understands being drafted to Raw with a pick as high as #5 overall is a big responsibility. Bobby Lashley interrupts and tells Cody there's no crying in wrestling. Lashley tells Cody to get ready for their match, because he's ready to prove that Bobby Lashley was supposed to be picked before Cody Rhodes was ever thought about.

Baron Corbin vs. Bray Wyatt w/Wyatt Family
Erick Rowan and Luke Harper lurk on as they're making it more difficult for Corbin to focus. Towards the end Corbin is reeling when the lights go out. You hear the motorcycle and the lights come back on to see Rowan on Corbin's bike. Corbin gets out of the ring to chase Rowan, but the lights go out. When they come back on, Corbin is in Wyatt's arms and hit with a Sister Abigail as Wyatt pins Baron Corbin, the 3rd overall pick.

As Bray celebrates a big win, the General Managers come out for the next selections.

Monday Night Raw selects... Randy Orton with the 7th overall pick.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Daniel Bryan with the 8th overall pick.

Monday Night Raw selects... Shinsuke Nakamura with the 9th overall pick.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Bray Wyatt with the 10th overall pick.

After the announcement of his selection to SmackDown, Bray Wyatt gets the microphone and laughs maniacally. Wyatt says he understands some familiar faces are joining him on Tuesdays, such as Daniel Bryan and John Cena. Wyatt drops a hint that they might have to catch up. Wyatt laughs before the lights go out and he's gone.

WWE Universal Champion Christian is upset he has been drafted by Kurt Angle and SmackDown, as he voices to Renee Young that Angle is trying to make his life a living hell. But instead, Christian says it'll be the exact opposite.

Prior to the first round of women draft picks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch are set to due battle.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte
Both women went hard trying to prove their worth tonight, but it's Becky trapping Charlotte with a Dis-arm-her that forces The Queen to tap.

Kurt Angle and JBL come back out to announce the women picks.

Monday Night Raw selects... Paige, WWE Women's Champion.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Tessa Blanchard, WWE Matrons Champion.

Monday Night Raw selects... Becky Lynch.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Sasha Banks.

Monday Night Raw selects... Asuka.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Charlotte.

Backstage, we get Paige's reaction to staying on Raw. Paige says she's built Raw's women's division and continues to do so and Rubi Riot comes in the picture. Rubi apologizes for her actions last week and asks for forgiveness. Paige looks at Rubi and wishes she gets drafted to SmackDown, because that will be the only way she gets anywhere close to being a champion.

After a commercial break, we have more picks to announce!

Monday Night Raw selects... The New Day, the WWE Trios Champions. Due to this selection, SmackDown will have back-to-back selections.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... The Revival, the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Neville, the reigning Intercontinental Champion.

Monday Night Raw selects... Finn Balor.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Depths of Despair.

The instant reaction to these picks is how this shakes up the title matches for tonight. Raw gets the WWE Trios Championships, but SmackDown will have the WWE Tag Team Championships no matter the tag team match result. However, Neville and Finn Balor's match will determine whether the Intercontinental Championship lands with Raw or SmackDown.

The Revival head out for their title defense, and make it clear that even if they were drafted to the same show, this will be the FINAL time the Depths of Despair challenge The Revival for their titles.

The Revival(c) vs. Depths of Despair for the WWE Tag Team Championships
The Revival tried playing their game of half-mat wrestling, but DoD were too powerful and took over. At one point, Dawson and Wilder try leaving, but the Depths of Despair chased them down and brought them back inside before finishing them with the Super Collider and winning the titles from The Revival.

Akam and Rezar get a standing ovation from the crowd winning the WWE Tag Team Titles as JBL and Kurt Angle come to the podium to announce the next picks for a women's round.

Monday Night Raw selects... Brie and Nikki Bella, the Bella Twins.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Carmella.

Monday Night Raw selects... Rubi Riot.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Nikki Cross.

Monday Night Raw selects... Alexa Bliss.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Bayley.

Charly Caruso stands by with the Bella Twins after hearing they're drafted to Raw, in which they disagree not being the top picks for the women's division. For that reason, the Bella Twins are having an open challenge issued to anyone on the Raw roster next week to a tag team match.

Joining via satellite now is WWE Champion Triple H at his home with wife Stephanie McMahon. When asked by Michael Cole how closely he's keeping up with the Draft, Triple H shrugged. Triple H says he isn't eligible to be drafted, so he can appear on Raw, he can appear on SmackDown, because he's the COO of the company and he makes the rules. Tyson Kidd refutes it, saying Triple H doesn't have power and it's been given primarily to Kurt Angle and JBL. Triple H quickly told Kidd to hush his mouth, Corey Graves joining in, and Triple H says he's the King of Kings and nobody beneath him will tell him what to do. Graves apologizes for Kidd and asks about Dean Ambrose's recent challenge for the WWE Championship. Triple H laughs and says he doesn't plan on coming to a WWE show for a while, so if Ambrose wants it, he'll have to wait.

Bobby Lashley vs. Cody Rhodes
Lashley tries punishing Cody throughout the match for being a top draft pick to Raw, while Lashley remains undrafted. Lashley continues bullying Cody and tries putting him away with a Dominator, but Cody kicks out. Lashley then connects with a Spear, but Cody gets his foot on the rope lifelessly. Lashley gets frustrated and begins pounding Cody by the ropes before the official has to pull him away, and Lashley goes outside to get a steel chair and argues with the official before Lashley tosses it aside. Lashley pulls Cody up and into the center for a second Dominator, but Cody counters and hits a Cross-Rhodes and counts 3 before Lashley can get an instinctive shoulder off the mat.

Lashley can't believe it as Cody Rhodes gets out of dodge quick before Lashley can react and here comes the next picks, the final ones of the evening.

Monday Night Raw selects... Kevin Owens, Mr. Money in the Bank.

Kurt Angle takes a moment to mention that he double checked, and this next selection is eligible to be drafted as he is under contract as an active member of the main roster.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Triple H, WWE Champion.

Monday Night Raw selects... The Usos.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Cesaro.

Everyone is stunned by the breaking news of WWE Champion Triple H being drafted to SmackDown. JBL did not take kindly to the news and labeled it unfair, but Angle just shrugged his shoulders.

Advertised for next week's Monday Night Raw is Brie and Nikki's tag team match challenge to anyone on the Raw roster. Plus, the top two picks for Raw will square off with Baron Corbin and Emperor Roman Reigns. But the big focus is Night 2 of the WWE Draft tomorrow night. A 20-man Battle Royal for Shelton Benjamin's United States Championship will happen, as Benjamin and the championship has yet to be drafted. Meanwhile, Matrons Champion Tessa Blanchard and Women's Champion Paige will kick off the evening to determine who has the #1 pick of Night Two. But up next, we see which brand gets the Intercontinental Championship. Is it staying on Raw as Finn Balor looks to regain the title, or will it be SmackDown property with Neville retaining?

Neville(c) vs. Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship
Neville and Balor give it their all for the rights to become Intercontinental Champion. Neville tries putting Balor away with a Black Arrow, but he misses and Balor uses this opportunity to hit a corner dropkick and hit a Coup de Grace and makes the cover. Balor hooks the leg deep and similar to Neville's WWE Championship opportunity several years back against Seth Rollins, roles are reversed as Balor nearly won the Intercontinental Title. Balor gets Neville up for the 1916 and Neville counters with the Rings of Saturn. Balor refuses to give up but he begins to fade, then he has a last moment of resurgence, before he collapses to the pressure and the bell is tolled.

Neville's music hits with the Intercontinental Championship remaining on SmackDown, giving the blue brand the WWE Championship, WWE Universal Championship, WWE Tag Team Championships, and now the Intercontinental Championship as Night 1 of the WWE Draft concludes.

MAY 22 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!

WWE-Draft-645x369-1.png

NIGHT TWO of the 2018 WWE DRAFT

After recapping last night's opening of the WWE Draft, Dean Ambrose comes out as the top pick for the blue brand. Ambrose welcomes everyone to the show and before getting to business, makes a joke of Triple H's tweet about his outrage for being drafted last night. Ambrose reminds everyone of his challenge to Triple H, and asks him to tweet his answer 'yes' or 'no' as Ambrose pulls his phone out and waits. Kurt Angle's music hits and welcomes Ambrose to SmackDown. Angle informs Ambrose that he needs a main event for No Mercy in two weeks and can think of no better match than Dean Ambrose challenging Triple H for the WWE Championship. JBL then comes and says he's outraged by Kurt Angle, saying he can't claim two world champions like he has. Angle responds with saying he drafted them, thus has the titles and their services. Knowing Angle won't budge, JBL turns his attention to Ambrose and tells the Lunatic Fringe he would put the #1 contendership on the line against one of his guys if he had the guts. Ambrose immediately accepted, without Angle's approval, and asked who it would be. JBL announces it's Randy Orton! The main event is set, Ambrose versus Orton in a #1 contender's match. Now the Matrons Champion's music hits as Tessa Blanchard heads to the ring to face Paige in a Champion versus Champion match for rights to the first pick of the evening.

Raw's Paige vs. SmackDown's Tessa Blanchard in a Champion vs. Champion Match
For their show to pick first tonight, Paige and Blanchard are going hard for the stakes to be high, including bragging rights. However, it is Blanchard going for Magnum which is countered into a Paige Turner. Paige makes the cover and Blanchard kicks out. Paige tries locking in the PTO, but Blanchard rolls Paige up and nearly gets the 3 before the Women's Champion escapes. Blanchard tries for Magnum one more time when it's Paige countering into a PTO. Paige has Blanchard locked in when Rubi Riot appears. Blanchard is about to tap when Paige lets go to clothesline Rubi, but Rubi ducks and hits the Riot Kick causing the DQ.

After the bell, Rubi Riot kicks Paige to the floor and signals she wants the Women's Championship now and Eden makes it known Paige won by disqualification, therefore, Raw receives the first pick of the night. JBL walks out thrilled as Kurt Angle walks out a little upset.

Monday Night Raw selects... Shelton Benjamin, United States Champion.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... The Miz.

Monday Night Raw selects... Murphy.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Sami Zayn.

Charly Caruso is backstage with Murphy for his instant reaction of being drafted to Raw. Murphy says he'll miss SmackDown, but he's super excited, and he notes Raw also drafted Shelton Benjamin. But he vows that Benjamin won't be bringing the United States Title to Mondays, he will be, as Murphy heads out for the Battle Royal next.

Right before the match, JBL stops Shelton Benjamin in the hallway. JBL tells Shelton he selected him because he needs the United States Championship on Raw. JBL orders Benjamin to bring the title home to Mondays, or he might be out of a job by the end of the week.

20-Man Battle Royal for Shelton Benjamin's United States Championship
Shelton Benjamin has to defend his United States Championship in a 20-Man Battle Royal right now. The likes of Cesaro, Aiden, Simon, Bobby Lashley, Carlito, Chris Masters, Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore, Jason Jordan, The Hardy Boyz, Joe Hennig, Kane, The Miz, Tyler Breeze, Elias Samson, Kalisto, Sami Zayn, and Tye Dillinger all vying for the United States Title. One by one they all left, but the final four was Benjamin, Lashley, Cesaro, and Zayn. Lashley and Benjamin worked together to take Cesaro out, but as soon as they did, Lashley turned on Benjamin and eliminated the United States Champion! This leaves Lashley and SmackDown's Sami Zayn. Zayn fought to bring the United States Championship to Tuesdays, but keeps getting manhandled by Lashley. Zayn gets momentum on his side and decides to go for a Helluva Kick, but as he charges, Lashley uses the momentum to lift Zayn over the top rope. Zayn grabs onto the rope and holds onto the apron but one forearm smash drops Zayn to the floor for the bell.

As Bobby Lashley's music hits and he is handed the United States Championship, he appears to have a chip on his shoulder as JBL and Kurt Angle come to their respective podiums. Lashley grabs the mic and demands his music be cut. Lashley holds his new hardware up and tells them to pick him. Lashley calls out JBL and demands he be picked next.

Monday Night Raw selects... Bobby Lashley, the new United States Champion.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... American Alpha.

Monday Night Raw selects... Dolph Ziggler.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Sheamus.

Sheamus has a moment with Renee Young for his reaction to being picked by Kurt Angle to remain on SmackDown. The Celtic Warrior nods and says he took Emperor Roman Reigns to his limits last night on Raw, and so he feels confident he can go toe-to-toe with anyone on the roster. Sheamus lays a challenge for No Mercy to anyone who dares to accept.

Charly Caruso catches up with Randy Orton about his main event match with Dean Ambrose tonight with the right to wrestle Triple H for the WWE Championship. Orton says JBL is off to a good start as Raw General Manager, and he's grateful to be drafted by such an intelligent businessman. Orton trashes Angle for just being an amateur wrestling knucklehead, not knowing how to run a successful show. Orton reminds everyone that Triple H handpicked JBL, and it just is ironic that JBL has handpicked the man to dethrone Triple H as WWE Champion.

Alberto Del Rio, Ortiz, and Santana vs. Wyatt Family
Two trios teams going head-to-head for leverage on the chase of The New Day's titles, they go at it hard. Despite both being heels, the crowd's leaning towards the Wyatt Family. As the match draws to a close, Bray tries getting Rowan and Harper in position to do better, but Del Rio's crew has their number and this match ends with a Street Sweeper on Rowan executed impressively for the win.

Monday Night Raw selects... Luke Harper.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Jeff Hardy.

Monday Night Raw selects... Alberto Del Rio, Ortiz, and Santana.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... The Vaudevillians.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Erick Rowan.

Along with their win just moments ago, Del Rio, Ortiz, and Santana celebrate their pick to Raw, remaining together as a trio. However, it's heartbreak in the ring as The Wyatt Family appear to be going their separate ways with Harper drafted to Raw with Wyatt and Rowan on SmackDown. The lights go out with a spotlight on the Wyatt Family, as Harper drops to his knees in submission to the Eater of Worlds. Without a mic, but the attention of the arena, you can hear Bray Wyatt let Harper free. Rowan and Harper share a moment saying goodbye as we hit a commercial break.

After a commercial break, Renee Young stands by with Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. Renee mentions the breakup of the Wyatt Family, and with Jeff Hardy drafted to SmackDown, it might be possible that the Hardy Boyz might be split as well. Jeff pleads with Kurt Angle to draft Matt, promising they'll be capable of an 8th run as tag team champions. Matt tells Jeff that no matter what happens, they'll be brothers and last night won't be the last time.

Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks
In now a Raw versus SmackDown contest, these two lock up for the last time of the foreseeable future. Alexa misses Twisted Bliss, as Sasha gets her knees up and then locks in the Bank Statement to force Alexa to tap. JBL and Kurt Angle come out to announce the final round of women's picks.

Monday Night Raw selects... Mickie James.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Naomi.

Monday Night Raw selects... Emma.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Dana Brooke.

Monday Night Raw selects... Nia Jax.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Peyton Royce.

Renee Young catches Peyton Royce for a word and Royce says she's felt held back her career, but now is her breakout moment as a singles wrestler. Royce puts Tessa Blanchard and the entire SmackDown women's division on notice. WWE Universal Champion Christian interrupts the interview, pushing Royce away. Christian says he's upset to have not only been picked by Kurt Angle in the Draft, but for Tomko to be suspended last week, and for Nakamura to have a title opportunity at No Mercy... and on top of all that, Tomko not be drafted with him to SmackDown. Christian wants the record shown that he gives Kurt Angle two months tops as General Manager before the ship crashes.

Rusev w/Lana vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
In Nakamura's final match on SmackDown, we see another brand-versus-brand match as the WWE Universal Championship #1 contender Nakamura battles the Bulgarian Brute. Nakamura put on an impressive performance, despite injuring his back this match that was targeted by Rusev, and the King of Strong Style wins with a Kinshasa.

After the match, Christian attacks his challenger and finishes him with a Killswitch before Kurt Angle sends security down to hold Christian back from doing anything else. JBL comes out and laughs at Kurt, calling him to the podium to make the final picks of the night.

Monday Night Raw selects... Matt Hardy.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Tye Dillinger.

Monday Night Raw selects... Rusev.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Tyler Breeze.

Monday Night Raw selects... Carlito.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... Michael Bennett.

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy hear the news of their split due to the Draft, and didn't take kindly to JBL laughing while he picked Matt out of spite, but this hug is ruined by Tye Dillinger. Dillinger attacks both Hardy Boyz, and as Matt is on the ground, Jeff fights back but it's Tyler Breeze who emerges and Superkicks the Charismatic Enigma. Breeze and Dillinger look at each other and acknowledge the other's presence before walking away from the 7-time tag team champions.

Joining via satellite with Tom Phillips and Raw's Corey Graves and Tyson Kidd, is WWE Champion Triple H, 24 hours after being drafted to SmackDown. Triple H says this wasn't supposed to happen. When asked when they could expect him to show up on the blue brand, Triple H says he won't be showing up. Kurt Angle then heads down from the podium and gets a headset on, ordering Triple H to appear next week on SmackDown. Angle says if he doesn't, he'll be stripping the WWE Championship from The Game. Triple H gets riled up into a shouting match with Angle before agreeing to show up next week and to watch his back.

After the big announcement that Triple H will be there, it's also understood that Daniel Bryan will be live for the first time since he was cost the WWE Championship at Vengeance. Plus, a 6-Pack Challenge to determine a #1 contender for Tessa Blanchard's Matrons Championship between Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Nikki Cross, Bayley, Naomi, and Peyton Royce with the winner challenging Blanchard at No Mercy. But up next, we find out the #1 contender for Triple H's WWE Championship.

Dean Ambrose w/Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton w/JBL
The General Managers decide to stick around ringside for this match, and with no world champion on Raw, the pressure is on for The Apex Predator, and equal amounts for Ambrose who was SmackDown's first pick. Orton picks Ambrose apart limb by limb and is closing in on a title opportunity against Triple H as he seeks an RKO, but Ambrose pushes him into the ropes and hits a series of clotheslines before flying in with an elbow. Ambrose tries for Dirty Deeds, but Orton counters into an RKO attempt but Ambrose blocks it once more, in which Orton counters with a dropkick where Ambrose gets the final say with a rebounding clothesline! The crowd gets on their feet as JBL and Kurt Angle lean in. Ambrose and Orton get up and trade several blows before Orton gets the upperhand with a few uppercuts, and then swings Ambrose around with a rope-hung DDT. Orton begins hearing voices and goes for the RKO when Ambrose blocks it for a third time and slams Orton to the mat. Orton gets up right into a Dirty Deeds that connects and Ambrose hooks in a deep pin... one, two, three!

The crowd goes wild as Dean Ambrose makes it to his feet as the new #1 contender for the WWE Championship! Tom Phillips points out the world titles are staying on SmackDown, but Corey Graves refutes with the idea Shinsuke Nakamura brings the WWE Universal Championship home to Raw at the No Mercy PPV. Ambrose standing tall, ready for war against The Game, as Angle raises his hand in victory... this is the image we leave the fans with from Night 2 of the WWE Draft, with the third and final night tomorrow, geared towards free agents and NXT talent.

MAY 23 2018 ~ WEDNESDAY NIGHT NXT

WWE-Draft-645x369-1.png

NIGHT THREE of the 2018 WWE DRAFT

A recap is shown of the previous two nights of the 2018 WWE Draft, culminating in tonight's final event. For the first time ever, the Draft takes place over three nights and with this night, anything can be expected. Here are the rules:
  • Anyone of the wrestling world is eligible to be drafted tonight, with prior consent
  • Superstars drafted aren't immediately sent to Raw or SmackDown
  • Their rights are owned by the brand up to 1 year
  • When drafted, they can only appear for that brand during that time
  • If the year passes without a debut, the brand loses their rights
  • Reigning NXT champions are ineligible

To determine who gets first pick, it's former NXT Champions in Finn Balor and Sami Zayn doing battle.

Raw's Finn Balor vs. SmackDown's Sami Zayn
Returning to their home turf where it all started, Balor and Zayn put on a show for the people that culminates in Sami Zayn hitting a Helluva Kick to pin Balor at Full Sail University.

After the match, Sami Zayn got on the mic to thank NXT and its fans for helping him to where he is today, and Finn Balor joined in on the sentiments as well. JBL and Kurt Angle then popped up on the screen, via satellite from WWE Headquarters in Connecticut, to announce their picks.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... free agent Fenix.

Monday Night Raw selects... NXT superstar Adam Cole.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... free agent Boogeyman.

Monday Night Raw selects... NXT trio Street Profits.

Adam Cole is backstage with McKenzie Mitchell who asks about his rights being picked by Monday Night Raw. Cole says within the next year, he'll be on Monday Night Raw where he belongs. Cole wishes it's sooner than later so he can get out of this dump. Cole says he should've been #1, and asks who the blue hell is Fenix, but SmackDown will regret that decision.

Sophia is with the Street Profits whose rights were claimed by Raw as well, and the Street Profits are ecstatic about their chance to go to Raw. However, they know there's unfinished business in NXT, wanting to fight Lawlor and Woods next week on NXT.

Cedric Alexander & Moose(c) vs. Jaxon Thielen & Logan Brigman for the NXT Tag Team Championships
Thielen and Brigman gave it their all but Cedric hits Brigman with a Lumbar Check and retains their titles.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... NXT superstar Andrade "Cien" Almas.

Monday Night Raw selects... free agent Walter.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... free agent Angel Garza.

Monday Night Raw selects... NXT superstar Tama Tonga and free agent Tonga Loa.

Tama Tonga is standing by with McKenzie Mitchell who asks about his selection to Raw with Tonga Loa? Tama Tonga says The Tolutasi is a thing of the past. He says he wouldn't classify them as a failure, but only the first step. Tama Tonga says his lifelong dream was to be in the WWE with his brother, and now it's a reality, but for Raw, it'll be their nightmare.

Zelina Vega celebrates with Andrade Almas, as she reminds Andrade of the promise she made to him about taking him to the next level and now his rights have been claimed by SmackDown.

Dijak vs. Kona Reeves
Dijak and Kona, two blue chip prospects, went to war and Dijak emerged victorious after Feast your Eyes.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... free agent Jinder Mahal.

Monday Night Raw selects... free agent Jordan Devlin.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... NXT superstar Ember Moon.

Monday Night Raw selects... free agent Wardlow.

Finn Balor hears the news and is in shock that Jordan Devlin will finally be joining him on Raw. Sophia comes up to ask Balor about his friend, and he says the sky is the limit for Devlin and he knows the road he's traveled and it's so great that he'll be on Monday Night Raw. Balor has a tap on the shoulder and it's Jordan Devlin! The two embrace with a long hug as tears are shed that Devlin's dream will be realized within the next year.

Ember Moon vs. Savanna Gibson
After being selected in Night 3 of the Draft with rights secured by SmackDown, Ember Moon proves SmackDown to be wise after she wins the match with an Eclipse on Gibson.

Before Ember Moon has a chance to catch her breath, she's attacked from behind. It's three new girls. They continue assaulting Ember Moon and not sure what's up. One then takes the mic and introduces herself as Britt Baker alongside Bianca Belair and Sonya Deville. Baker calls themselves The Clink and says the NXT women's division is now on notice.

Noam Dar is walking backstage when Rich Swann bumps into him. They exchange some words before Dinastia turns the corner and bumps into them, and then all three are at it with Dinastia speaking strictly Spanish. Noam Dar shoves Swann for starting it, and then Swann retaliates, and then Dar slaps Dinastia and it's a three-way brawl backstage. Meanwhile, JBL and Kurt Angle appear one more time for their final picks of the 2018 WWE Draft.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... NXT superstar Chelsea Green.

Monday Night Raw selects... NXT superstar Shayna Baszler.

Tuesday Night SmackDown selects... NXT superstar Nick Aldis.

Monday Night Raw selects... free agent Hangman Page.

McKenzie Mitchell interviews Nick Aldis about his rights being taken by SmackDown. Aldis says he's thankful that he'll notch another accolade in his career, but for now, he's focused on finishing up business on Wednedsays. Aldis calls out Tommaso Ciampa, pointing out the fact he went undrafted tonight because nobody wants him. Aldis challenges Ciampa to a match next week in the main event.

Speaking of main events, up next is the NXT Championship match between champion Pete Dunne and challenger Austin Aries.

Pete Dunne(c) vs. Austin Aries for the NXT Championship
Dunne and Aries go the distance. Dunne was locked in the Last Chancery for the longest time before he got to the bottom rope and Aries was forced to let go. Aries went for the Brainbuster to claim the NXT Championship, and as he lifted Dunne up, the champion countered with a knee strike. Dunne then lifted Aries up and hit the Bitter End to score the pinfall!

Pete Dunne puts an L in Double A's column and retains his title! Dunne gets to his feet after a grueling match but he's smacked in the back with a steel chair.. it's Andrade "Cien" Almas! Andrade picks Dunne up and hits the Hammerlock DDT on the chair and Zelina Vega is trailing by laughing. Andrade picks the NXT Championship up, signaling his rights drafted to SmackDown weren't good enough, as he wants the NXT Championship next.

Via social media and various sources, we have confirmed 9 different names from the tournament have signed on with WWE.

Now, we know several more names have signed with WWE. El Hijo del Fantasma, Kip Sabian, and TJ Perkins have signed contracts as of this week.

More is expected to come as the tournament concludes, as we couldn't imagine the Final Four not being signed. It appears the company is waiting to sign, or at least announce, deals until they are finished in the Cruiserweight Classic.

******

In addition to the Cruiserweight Classic names, Night 3 of the 2018 WWE Draft saw 7 of the 16 names be free agents who were drafted. Their "rights" have been assigned to Raw or SmackDown and they can debut anytime within the next year. It's being reported all 7 of those people have signed with WWE officially. Angel Garza and Jordan Devlin were already announced after their departures in the Cruiserweight Classic tournament, but it appears they will have a different direction. As for now, they're listed with the Performance Center, but the 7 new signings are as follows: Boogeyman, Fenix, Hangman Page, Jinder Mahal, Tonga Loa, Walter, and Wardlow.

******

In regards to the on-screen personnel for all three brands, here are the moves that were made:

Charly Caruso will remain on Raw as the backstage interviewer.
Michael Cole remains on Raw as the play-by-play commentator, with his counterpart to be announced on Monday.
Eden is the new ring announcer for Raw.

Renee Young remains as SmackDown's backstage interviewer.
SmackDown's commentary duo will be Tom Phillips and, coming from Raw, Corey Graves.
Greg Hamilton will be the new ring announcer for SmackDown, making his WWE debut.

Joining Sophia, McKenzie Mitchell is an additional backstage interviewer for NXT.
Doing commentary for NXT will be Vic Joseph and Byron Saxton still.
Jojo Offerman continues to be NXT's ring announcer.

To address the rumors bound to spill, Tyson Kidd is still contracted with the company but will be overseeing a new role.

MAY 28 2018 ~ MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Randy Orton kicks off Monday Night Raw and claims himself as the new face of Raw, thanks to defeating John Cena inside Hell in a Cell and following that up with Cena getting drafted after him and to SmackDown. Baron Corbin interrupts and laughs at Orton, saying he was picked before Orton so the Viper has no claim. Corbin also says they're looking for someone not about to kick the bucket. United States Champion Bobby Lashley heads out and vengefully holds his newly won title up, saying he is THE champion of Raw and no matter where he was drafted, he could still plow anyone in this ring to the ground. An intense staredown between Lashley and Corbin follows Shinsuke Nakamura's music. Nakamura's broken English points out Lashley isn't the champion of Raw, because he'll win the WWE Universal Title at No Mercy against Christian. JBL shows up on the screen and says he understands they want to prove they're the best, which is exactly why he drafted each of them. JBL makes a Fatal 4-Way match for tonight to determine just that.

Michael Cole awaits his new commentary partner, not told who it was, and we hear "Ladies and gentlemen..." as Paul Heyman grabs everyone's attention. Heyman waddles to the commentary booth, joining Cole and telling Cole he is here to save the WWE commentary booth.

Carlito vs. Finn Balor
Two former Intercontinental Champions kick off the new era of Raw and it's Balor with the Coup de Grace that makes the difference and Balor takes the win.

Emperor Roman Reigns stands by with Charly Caruso who asks the #1 overall pick why he didn't go to the ring earlier and defend his status as the Face of Raw. Reigns can't help but smile and says Charly answered her own question. He was picked #1 overall, so that's the facts and he doesn't need to defend it. He reminds everyone he won King of the Ring last year and is the Emperor, and he's a future world champion. Reigns says this is still the Roman Empire and everyone falls in place. At that moment, Murphy's presence is shown by the camera zooming out. Murphy says Reigns might not feel the need to defend his spot at the top, but both are without championships. Murphy challenges Reigns to a match tonight, and as Reigns declines, Murphy slaps the taste out of Roman's mouth and Roman measures up to Murphy. Reigns accepts and Murphy smirks before backing away.

As Matt Hardy awaits his opponent to make his way to the ring, Del Rio uses the time to talk trash about the Hardy Boyz their legacy, laughing that they lost to The New Day their final match together.

Alberto Del Rio w/Ortiz & Santana vs. Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy took a lot of frustrations out on Del Rio, showing he can go as a singles competitor, but Ortiz and Santana were a difference maker. Ortiz distracts the ref as Hardy goes for a moonsault, and Santana gets up on the apron and kicks Matt Hardy in the head, dropping Matt into a tree-of-woe position as Del Rio goes for the double foot stomp and he pulls Matt away from the ropes to make the pin.

As Alberto Del Rio celebrates with Santana and Ortiz, The Usos' music hits. The Usos take offense to Del Rio's comments about their favorite tag team growing up. Therefore, The Usos challenge Santana and Ortiz to a first time ever match next week on Raw! Del Rio smiles and accepts as a huge match is set.

Mickie James finds Asuka backstage and convinces Asuka to accept the challenge laid out by Brie and Nikki Bella as Mickie promises this is their chance to get their names back in the title picture.

Cody Rhodes vs. Luke Harper
Rhodes looks impressive, but Harper looks a little sluggish his first time away from the Wyatt Family, and it's Cody winning with a Disaster Kick on Harper.

United States Champion Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton confront each other in the back and they come to blows that have to be separated by security ahead of the Fatal 4-Way later tonight.

Asuka & Mickie James vs. Bella Twins
As Nikki looks to finish Asuka off with a Rack Attack, she counters and gets the Asuka Lock in. With nowhere to go, Brie comes in for the save and is tackled by Mickie James and Nikki has to tap in an upset.

JBL is in his office and appears to be on the phone with a free agent as he's throwing around numbers when Shelton Benjamin heads in. Benjamin asks why he isn't on the card, and JBL says he didn't retain the United States Title last week. Benjamin makes the excuse of a battle royal and the title ended up on Raw anyways. JBL says he had to draft Lashley because he won the title, and it messed his draft board up because of Shelton's mistake. Benjamin tries apologizing, but JBL dismisses Benjamin and says he can have the night off and to leave the arena. Benjamin pauses and JBL reiterates, sending the former United States Champion away.

Big E w/The New Day vs. Rusev w/Lana
Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin Owens joins Heyman and Cole on commentary, and when Cole asked why he was there, Owens said he wants to be the first guest of the Paul Heyman Commentary Team. Owens and Heyman continue to gang up on Cole and when asked about his reaction to no world title on Raw, Owens says Nakamura better bring the WWE Universal Championship home to Raw or there will be hell to pay. In the match, Big E catches Rusev in a slip up and puts him away with a Big Ending.

The Usos have an interview spot with Charly Caruso about their challenge for next week. The Usos call what Del Rio said about The Hardy Boyz disrespectful to one of the greatest tag teams of their childhood and it won't go unnoticed. The Usos get attacked by that trio and Del Rio is calling out orders before Matt Hardy runs them off with a steel chair in hand before checking on the condition of Jimmy and Jey Uso.

Women's Champion Paige heads to the ring and addresses Rubi Riot after her actions as of late, trying to get in the title match last week on Raw and then attacking her on SmackDown. Paige says this is supposed to be where she challenges Rubi Riot, puts her title on the line, and fights for her pride. Paige laughs and says she isn't petty, she's just smart. Paige tells Rubi she won't be handing out a title opportunity, but Rubi can forget her. Paige says it's lonely in WWE without some pals, but she's learned she doesn't need them because she can handle things on her own, but Rubi won't survive without The Anti-Diva. Paige drops the mic after telling Rubi Riot off and saying she's done with her. Paige gets to the top of the ramp before she's smacked in the back with a steel chair by none other than! Rubi Riot slams the chair down a few more times before throwing it down, picking the champion up, and hitting a Riot Kick at the curtain. Rubi Riot picks up the title and shouts at a lifeless Paige that she'll give her the opportunity before laying it across Paige's chest as Raw goes to commercial.

Emperor Roman Reigns vs. Murphy
Murphy gives it his all but the Emperor is just more of a "physical speciman" and "more of a man" than Murphy, according to Heyman, as Reigns finishes Murphy with a Spear.

"The Anti-Diva" Paige is staggering a tiny bit with her WWE Women's Championship on her shoulder and Becky Lynch comes to her. Lynch asks if Paige is giving Rubi Riot that title match in which the champion responds there's no chance in hell. Becky smirks and says that frees her up for next week then, for the title. Paige is immediately against it, but after fumbling over her words, she composes herself and accepts because Becky is more deserving than Ruby Riot will be in a long time.

Paul Heyman predicts Paige easily retains against Becky Lynch after hearing the news, as Cole and Heyman advertise that match, along with The Usos versus Santana and Ortiz for the first time ever. But up next is a Fatal 4-Way match to determine the "Face of Raw."

Baron Corbin vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Randy Orton vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a Fatal 4-Way Match
Baron Corbin is targeted throughout this match, mainly double-teamed by Lashley and Orton who found common ground for a few moments this match. Bobby Lashley fought with a chip on his shoulder for his draft pick last week, being the most aggressive one, but also the first one to make mistakes. Randy Orton was the most calculated with all his attacks, but Shinsuke Nakamura was the quieter one while hitting strikes when he needed. All hell broke loose towards the end with Corbin looking like he'd win it with an End of Days on Lashley, countering the Dominator attempt. Corbin gets up into an RKO and after Orton bounces up taunting Corbin, he's caught with a Kinshasa by Nakamura, who just recovered from being Speared through the barricade by Lashley moments ago... and Nakamura makes the cover!

After pinning Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura's music hit and the King of Strong Style celebrates the big win headed into Sunday's No Mercy event where he looks to claim the WWE Universal Championship for Raw by beating Christian. And just as Raw begins to fade, Nakamura is attacked from behind by SmackDown's Christian. The fans boo as Christian stomps away before security rushes the ring and throws Christian out. Christian smiles as the message is sent with his brand invasion.

MAY 29 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!

SmackDown kicks off with Dean Ambrose, as promised earlier on social media, awaiting the arrival of WWE Champion Triple H. Ambrose continues to wait when WWE Universal Champion Christian comes instead. Christian says he's tight with Triple H, and he'll be here later this evening, but he wanted to address that he is the main event this Sunday at No Mercy. Kurt Angle then comes out and keeps a distance, saying he wants to rip Christian's head off for the antics last night on Raw. Christian says he made things interesting. Angle says so is he, making tonight's main event Christian going one-on-one with Dean Ambrose. Christian isn't a fan but as he tries protesting, Ambrose turns him around and hits a quick Dirty Deeds on the champ.

After commercial, The Revival head out and confirm they're taking on Depths of Despair this Sunday to regain their WWE Tag Team Championships and become 3-time champs, holding up a 3 when they usually hold up a 2.

The Revival vs. The Vaudevillians
Dawson and Wilder are going after Aiden and Simon this match and show they're determined with a quick win after a Shatter Machine to Aiden.

After the match, The Revival go to send a message with a second Shatter Machine to Simon, but before they can hit, the Depths of Despair music sounds. Akam and Rezar make their way to the ring, as The Revival are ready and in position to go to war, but as soon as DoD enters the ring, Dawson and Wilder skip town. Dawson reminds them they'll wait til Sunday.

A video is shown from earlier this afternoon where Sheamus is pumping the iron and Cesaro walks up to spot him. Sheamus ignores the spot and sets the weight down himself before sitting up. Cesaro asks if Sheamus has anyone to take him up on the No Mercy challenge, and once Sheamus says no, Cesaro smirks and says he does now. Cesaro wishes the best man win before walking away.

Cesaro vs. The Miz
Showing off before Sunday's match with Sheamus joining Phillips and Graves at commentary, Cesaro is displaying his power but The Miz is outsmarting him. Sheamus says he can pick at a few holes of Cesaro technique-wise but it's Cesaro using a Very European Uppercut, followed with a Neutralizer, that gives him the win.

Renee Young asks Dean Ambrose if he believes Christian that Triple H will be here this evening. Ambrose says he can't trust Christian further than he can throw him, but he wants Triple H watching closely what he does tonight, because if he doesn't forfeit his title by no-showing, then he's in for a treat this Sunday.

Jeff Hardy vs. Tyler Breeze
Now in his singles phase, Jeff Hardy was struggling with stamina throughout the match as Breeze began to show what he could do. Breeze then misses a Beauty Shot that Jeff Hardy ducks and he goes on a comeback run. Jeff Hardy throws his shirt off for the Swanton Bomb when Tye Dillinger runs down and pushes Jeff off and into the barricade as the official calls for the bell.

The beatdown continues and Dillinger throws Jeff inside the ring, holding him up for a Superkick followed by the Tye Breaker. Dillinger demands a mic and tells Jeff he isn't too good on his own. The crowd erupts as Raw's Matt Hardy jumps the barricade and runs Dillinger and Breeze off before he can get to them. Matt grabs the mic that Dillinger dropped saying he knew they'd be up to no good and says The Hardy Boyz will not go out like they did last week with a Draft. Matt says he'll be at No Mercy on Sunday and challenges Dillinger and Breeze to a tag team match! Dillinger and Breeze look at each other before accepting the challenge.

Bray Wyatt airs a vignette with Erick Rowan, reminiscing on Braun Strowman and Luke Harper leaving the nest. Bray says it's down to just he and Erick Rowan. Bray says there's a reason he's let Strowman and Harper walk free, because they were grown and matured enough. Bray says he's created a monster in Strowman and Harper, before looking at Rowan and looking back at the camera. Bray whispers, "Just think of what I can create next," before the screen goes to black.

Michael Bennett comes to the ring with Maria in his Silver Medal. Maria says her husband was lastly picked for jealous reasons, but Maria claims that Kurt Angle as a Gold Medalist knows how valuable Bennett is to the roster. Maria then claims Bennett needs some more hardware, and is looking at the Intercontinental Championship. Daniel Bryan interrupts them and Bryan tells Bennett that things aren't handed out here, things are earned. Bryan says he earned everything he's ever had to get, and then some, but he was never handed anything... like that silver medal. Bennett's triggered and demands he meet Bryan in a match right now!

Daniel Bryan vs. Michael Bennett w/Maria
Bryan schools Bennett this match and finishes him rather quickly, trapping him in the Yes Lock that forces the self-proclaimed Silver Medalist to tap.

Before Daniel Bryan can catch a breath, Intercontinental Champion Neville heads to the ring. Neville welcomes Bryan to his show. Neville reminds Bryan he won this title back at WrestleMania 31 but has never held it since, and offers Bryan a chance. Bryan laughs as Neville challenges him to a match this Sunday. Bryan gets a mic and asks why choose him of all people. Neville says this reign will be historic, and he wants to say he beat Daniel Bryan before his neck gives out again. Bryan shakes his head and says this is a mistake... for Neville, as he accepts. Neville smiles before going for a cheap shot, but Bryan catches it and throws a punch himself, a few actually. Bryan then begins to deliver kicks, kicking the champ down to a knee, and he swings for the head before Neville rolls out of dodge. Neville strangely laughs, saying he'll see Bryan this Sunday.

Kurt Angle gets the voicemail of WWE Champion Triple H, reminding "The Game" if he doesn't show up tonight on SmackDown, he will have no choice but to strip Triple H of the title. Angle reminds Triple H he has til the end of the night, and the clock is ticking.

Sasha Banks comes to the ring and reminds everyone of why she's here, and that is to become the Matrons Champion for a second time. Banks says the relationship with Blanchard doesn't matter, because it's Boss Time. Tessa Blanchard responds by joining Corey Graves and Tom Phillips on commentary. We then see the other five competitors come to the ring for the #1 contender's 6-Pack Challenge next.

Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Naomi vs. Nikki Cross vs. Peyton Royce vs. Sasha Banks in a 6-Pack Challenge
All six are vying to stake their claim as the top woman on SmackDown, while Blanchard comments. Blanchard admits she's impressed with Naomi's athleticism, saying she's one of the more underrated stars on the roster. Charlotte goes on a roll before Sasha Banks stops Charlotte in her tracks and locks in the Banks Statement. Charlotte is unwilling to tap when Peyton Royce goes to break up the pin before Nikki Cross hits a cross bulldog from the top rope! Nikki makes the cover before Banks and Charlotte realize in enough time, and Cross stills one!

After the match, Nikki Cross is quick out of dodge as Sasha Banks and Charlotte stay on the mat, shocked to not get to the cover in time as Tessa Blanchard can't help but chuckle, pretty confident she'll retain this Sunday at No Mercy against her new challenger.

Phillips and Graves thank Tessa Blanchard for her time, before diving into the card for Sunday's No Mercy, along with thier picks:
Tessa Blanchard defends the Matrons Championship against Nikki Cross: both pick Blanchard
The Hardy Boyz reunite one last time to face Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze: both pick The Hardy Boyz
Cesaro accepts the Celtic Warrior's challenge to face Sheamus: Phillips for Cesaro, Graves for Sheamus
Neville defends the Intercontinental Title against Daniel Bryan: Phillips for Bryan, Graves for Neville
The Revival have their title rematch against Depths of Despair: Phillips for The Revival, Graves for D.o.D.
Christian defends the Universal Title against Raw's Nakamura: both pick Christian
And if he shows, Triple H defends the WWE Championship against Dean Ambrose: Phillips for Ambrose, Graves for Triple H

Now up next is the main event and Dean Ambrose heads out for his match against Christian, with still no sight of Triple H.

Christian vs. Dean Ambrose in a non-title match
Christian tried grounding and outsmarting Ambrose, but Ambrose caught flurries and was relentless to show out, especially when Christian spit on Ambrose. This ticked the Lunatic Fringe off and he went off on Christian before hitting Dirty Deeds and pinning the Universal Champion!

Dean Ambrose's music hits as he pops up after a win over Christian and his celebration is cut short by Kurt Angle's music...

SmackDown's GM Kurt Angle heads to the ring and he's talking to Ambrose, who isn't too happy about the decision. Kurt Angle gets on the mic and says Triple H had til the end of the night to appear on SmackDown and confirm he's defending the title against Dean Ambrose at No Mercy. Angle says he hasn't seen the WWE Champion and will not have the world champion be inactive. Therefore, he has no other choice bu- BANG! Triple H decks Ambrose from behind with a forearm to the neck. Triple H pounds on Ambrose continuously pinned to the mat before throwing his shirt off and continuing on. Triple H throws Ambrose shoulder-first into the ring post, and again on the opposite side before hitting a Spinebuster. Triple H poses once more before picking his challenger up and hitting the Pedigree in the middle of the ring, all while Angle is trying to hold the Cerebral Assassin back. Triple H rips the mic out of Angle's hands and tells Angle he's here, and he'll see Ambrose this Sunday. Triple H throws the mic down, accepting the match, and his music plays him out.

NXT Updates (Wednesday):

After his statement last week, Andrade "Cien" Almas beat Brilee Fox. After the match, his associate Zelina Vega made it verbal that if Andrade's actions weren't clear, he's coming for Pete Dunne's NXT Championship.

After their confrontation last week Dinastia, Rich Swann, and Noam Dar battled it out in a fast-paced match that got the crowd to its feet several times and it ended with a Dynasty Driver by Dinastia on Dar.

Josh "The Goods" Woods and "Filthy" Tom Lawlor battle the Street Profits in a rematch from a couple weeks ago, and the tandem of Ford and Dawkins was enough to put Woods away with a Spinebuster and Frog Splash combo, evening the score at 1 a piece.

NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane beats Lakyn Machisma pretty easily, but afterwards, The Clink surround the champion and lay her out with the 3-on-1 beatdown as Baker, Belair, and Deville make their presence known in an even bigger way than last week.

In the main event of NXT, it's a war between Nick Aldis and Tommaso Ciampa, which Aldis barely survives with the MDD.

CWC Updates (Thursday):

The Elite 8 begins this week, exclusively on the WWE Network with 30-minute time limits.

Sammy Guevara vs. Ace Austin
- Going to the 28 minute mark, Ace Austin hits The Fold on Guevara and pins him after potentially Match of the Tournament.

Kota Ibushi vs. Trey Miguel
- In a massive upset, Ibushi's Golden Bomb is countered by a Yoshi Tonic and Miguel quickly follows up with a Meteora to sit on top of Ibushi and hook the leg to advance in the tournament, knocking out one of the favorites since the Round of 64.

The Elite 8 concludes next Thursday night at 7 p.m. which include these 30-minute time limit contests:
Marty Scurll vs. Lio Rush
Dragon Azteca Jr. vs. Will Ospreay

Who will join Ace Austin and Trey Miguel in the Final Four? Find out next week.
