Bodies hit’s the arena as ECW’s video comes onto the screen. Joey Styles introduces us to another episode of ECW programming.

Joey: Welcome to ECW. Last week many interesting things happened and the show ended with some indecision on the part of Elijah Burke. Carlito and Kofi Kingston wanted to know why Burke was hesitant to help them out against Edge and his cult.

“I spit in the face†plays as Carlito and Kofi make their way to the ring. They get into the ring and then Carlito gets a microphone.

Joey: Well, it looks like we are going to hear from Carlito and Kofi first thing. And I am pretty damn sure that they are going to be addressing Elijah Burke.

Carlito: Hey Burke, what you did last week was not cool. It was not cool at all. When we were getting our asses handed to us by Edge and his boys you didn’t help us or do anything. Tonight we give you an ultimatum. It’s either us or them. Now do you want to be cool, Elijah.

Carlito and Kofi leave as Carlito’s music plays.

Joey: As of late, Shane Helms has been on the losing end of some of his matches. But I talked to him earlier and he has told me that tonight he will win his match. But that’s enough talking, let’s get to the action.

Shane Helms music hits as he makes his way to the ring. He gets booed and just gets into the ring.

Petty Williams music hits and he walks to the ring. He gets a pretty good reaction and he plays to the crowd for a little bit
.

The match starts with a tie-up in the middle of the ring. Petty pushes Shane down to the and Helms pops right back up. Helms charges at Petty and lands a clothesline. Williams falls to the ground but pops right back up. Helms with another clothesline and then follows up with a kick to the head. Helms picks Petty up and lands a swift DDT. Cover by Helms and he gets a two count. Helms picks Petty back up and whips him into the corner. He charges into the corner, but Williams moves and Helms crashes into the turnbuckle. Petty gets a two-count on Helms with a school boy. Both men back up and Petty kicks Shane in the mid-section. Shane bends over holding his stomach and Petty hooks Helms for the Canadian Destroyer. Shane backs out of it and slides out of the ring. Petty planchas over the top rope and lands on Helms. Petty rolls Shane Helms into the ring and pins him. Helms gets his foot on the rope at a count of two. Petty gets up and picks Shane up. He sends him into the ropes and tries a clothesline. Shane ducks and bounces off the ropes. Both men try a clothesline and they end up in the middle of the ring laying on the ground. Petty starts to stir first and he gets a hand over of Shane. Helms kicks out of the cover attempt at two.

Petty slowly gets to his feet and he picks up Shane. He sends him into the ropes and lands a reverse elbow. Helms falls to the ground and Petty tries another cover. He gets a two count before Shane gets his shoulder up. Petty picks Shane up and tries a Canadian Destroyer but Shane backs out of it yet again. Shane slides out of the ring and goes and grabs a steel chair. He slides into the ring and nails Petty with the chair. Shane plays to the crowd and receives some boos because of that. Petty starts to get to one knee and Shane charges at Petty. He puts the chair up and nails a Shining Wizard onto the steel chair crushing Petty Williams head in. Shane gets a pin but somehow Petty kicks out at two. Shane gets up and starts to throw a temper tantrum. Petty starts to get up and grabs the steel chair. He is up and nails Shane with it. He sets the chair up, sets Helms up for the Canadian Destroyer and nails it onto the steel chair. He pins Shane and gets the three count.

Winner- Petty Williams

Shane gets up and starts to make his way to the back. As he is walking to the back he spots some wrestlers in the crowd. Shannon Moore, Jay Lethal, Alex Shelly, and Chris Sabin are sitting in the front row. Lethal, Shelly, and Sabin are laughing at Helms. They try to get Moore involved but Helms puts up three fingers into Shannon’s face and Moore acknowledges the fingers. Moore then sits back down as Helms yells at the other wrestlers and then makes his way to the back.

Backstage Josh Mathews is interviewing Shelton Benjamin.

Josh: Shelton, last week you earned the right to wrestle Edge in a 60-minute Iron Man Match. What are your thoughts.

Benjamin: My thoughts, My thoughts cannot be described. See Edge two weeks ago you didn’t give me enough time to whoop your ass when you got yourself counted out. But at WrestleMania I will have one hour to kick your ass all over the Citrus Bowl. See, Edge I know that we are going to put on a classic. No disrespect to HBK or Bret Hart, but this is going to be the best Iron Man Match in the history of Wrestle Mania. Edge, prepared to be Dulled.

Bret Hart walks into scene with Teddy Hart. He stops Benjamin from leaving and then starts to talk to him.

Bret: Benjamin, good luck at WrestleMania, but trust me. You cannot put on a better match than me and Shawn Michaels did. You see that match personified Wrestle Mania. I know I lost but if you accept Benjamin, I will train you to beat the Iron Man Match.

Benjamin: I accept.

Benjamin leaves the area and Hart continues to talk directly into the camera.

Hart: Vince McMahon, I challenge you to a match at Wrestle Mania and you better accept the match.

Joey: At the WWE Pay Per View, No Way Out, ECW’s Montel Vontavious Porter defeated Kurt Angle via Disqualification when Kurt Angle would not let go of the Ankle Lock.

I’m Comin hit’s as MVP walks out to the ring. He comes out favoring his ankle. He walks to the ring and then gets a microphone.

MVP: Sunday at No Way Out I proved I was better than Kurt Angle when I defeated him in our match. Some of you might say that it was a cheap win because of the way I won, but it is still a W in the record book.

Kurt Angle pops up on the screen and starts to talk to MVP.

Angle: So, MVP you are out here boasting about a disqualification victory when you are supposed to be from ECW. The land of Extreme. The place where there are no rules. Well I like that philosophy very much, so how about me versus you for next week ECW style.

Bodies hit’s as Paul Heyman comes out to the entrance ramp way. He has a microphone and begins to speak.

Heyman: Angle, you want a fight ECW style than on behalf of MVP, he accepts.

MVP: Wow, how do you just say that I accept the match. I know I am half-man, half-amazing but nobody accepts matches for me. I am my own man and I make my own damn decisions.

Heyman: MVP, are you scared of Angle or something?

Angle: It’s true, it’s true

MVP: Fine then but if I accept than the match will be a Money in the Bank Qualifying match.

Heyman: Fine, Speaking of Qualifying matches. The FTW title qualifying matches have been suspended until after WrestleMania due to the need to have people in the Money in the Bank matches. As all my true ECW fans know, I tell it like it is and I just wanted to say that due to the Money in the Bank match that the FTW Elimination Chamber originally scheduled for WrestleMania has been cancelled. But trust me, at ECW’s first Pay Per View, Wrestlepalooza, their will be a FTW champion crowned.

Joey: Did you just hear that. Next week on ECW, MVP vs. Angle II, but this time in an ECW style match and it’s for a spot in the Money in the Bank match at Wrestle Mania 24.

Christopher Dainels music hit’s as he comes to the ring to a little response from the crowd.

Jeff Hardy’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation. He slaps some hands and then slides into the ring.

Match starts with a dropkick by Hardy onto Dainels. Jeff then picks Dainels up and sends him into the ropes. Jeff lands a clothesline to Christopher that knocks him to the ground. Dainels back up and Jeff lands a dropkick to Dainels. Pin attempt by Jeff gets a two count. Jeff picks Dainels up and twists his arm around. Jeff then twists the arm again and then clubs the twisted arm of “The Fallen Angel.†Dainels falls to the ground and Jeff tries another cover. He gets a two count. Jeff then picks up Christopher Dainels and sends him into the ropes. He tries a clothesline but Dainels ducks and then lands a clothesline of his own. Dainels picks Jeff up and sends him into the ropes. He locks in a sleeper and really locks it in. Jeff starts to fade as Dainels goes down to the ground with Jeff. The ref starts to pick Jeff’s arm up. It falls once, then falls a second time. The ref drops it for the third time but Jeff gets it up. Hardy starts to make his way to the feet. Jeff is all the way back to his feet and then he elbows his opponent. Jeff breaks the sleeper and then hip locks Dainels to the ground. Jeff is staggering around but lands a kick to the mid-section of Dainels.

Jeff then grabs Dainels legs and does his double leg drop to the abdomen of Dainels. Jeff picks Christopher up and tries to nail a twist of fate. Dainels pushes Jeff off of him and Hardy falls to the outside. Dainels then slingshots himself over the top rope and lands on Jeff. Dainels gets up and looks under the ring. He grabs a aluminum trash can and smashes it upside the head of Jeff. The trash can has a huge dent in it but Dainels is not done. He then smashes the trash can against Hardy’s head once more. Dainels then gets a table and slides it into the ring. He then nails Jeff with another trash can shot before he tosses him into the ring. Dainels sets the table up and then slams Hardy onto the table but does not break the table. Dainels goes over to the corner after knocking Hardy in the head once more. Dainels then nails the Best Moonsault Ever onto Jeff knocking him through the table. Dainels goes for the pin but Jeff gets his foot on the rope at two and a half. Dainels cannot believe it and he goes to the outside. He then gets another table from underneath the ring. He slides it into the ring and sets it up. He tries to put Jeff on the table but Jeff blocks it and punches Dainels a couple of times. He then sets him up on the table and Jeff goes to the top rope. Jeff poses at the top of the ropes and prepares for a Swanton Bomb. The lights then goes out and we hear “Kennnnnnnnedddddddy†through the PA system. The lights come back on and blood falls on top of Jeff. Dainels then gets up and tosses Jeff through the table and pins him for the three count.

Winner: Christopher Dainels

Backstage Samoa Joe is with Josh Mathews and Josh is looking for an interview.

Josh: Samoa, last week you or CM Punk where not here on ECW. Could you please explain this to me and the wrestling world.

Joe: You see, me and Punk were handling some Indy business and wasn’t able to make the show. We explained this to Paul Heyman and he was cool with it. But he told us that we had to make it up to the ECW crowd. So next week we are going to put on a match. Hey Punk, What kind of match do you want next week.

CM Punk walks into the screen and starts to talk.

Punk: How about a Ladder Match.

Crowd pops to this but Joe shakes his head.

Punk: A Street Fight, a steel cage match, a first blood match.

The crowd pops at the mention of each match but Joe still shakes his head. Punk then gets a smile on his face and then speaks.

Punk: Fight Without Honor.

Joe shakes his head “yes’ and the crowd pops extremely loudly.

WWE Review, I'll read ECW later on!

Best Match: Rob Van Dam and Austin vs Big Show, Umaga and Angle also the Goldberg/Finlay opener very well written!

Worst Match: Michaels vs. BookerT, it wasn't bad but not up to the standards and the ending wasn't good.

Best Promo: Triple H's opening promo!

Worst Promo: n/a, everything was just perfect!

Additional Feedback: Good work brother, everything was done perfectly and you deserve credit for writing such shows!

Interesting card you made up. Lesnar or The Rock is pretty odd for a MITB match, but I'm sure it'll be ok. I'll check the next show out if I have the time.

JR: Welcome Ladies and Gentleman to a brand new edtion, Jim Ross here along with my broadcast partner, Jerry The King Lawler.

King: Oh JR, and what a night we have ahead of us. I can’t wait.

“The Game†plays to a lot of cheers from the audience as Triple H comes out, carrying the WWE Title. He makes his classic entrance and enters the ring. He has a microphone in hand.

HHH: Last week, it was a night of sending messages. At the beginning of the show, I came out here, talked about myself, got interrupted by that out of place punk Randy Orton.

Crowd boos at his mention.

HHH: But then, The Undertaker came out, lights go out, spooky thing, same old, same old, and knocked me out. See, I respect that, it’s Wrestlemania, I am bringing in my best, not only at Wrestlemania, but every night before the event, and I like that Taker is doing the same.

Crowd cheers.

HHH: But Deadman, understand this, you just don’t knock Triple H out and expect me to wait until Wrestlemania to get my hands on you. No, and I showed to you that very night, as I equalized things, if you catch my drift, with the sledgehammer.

Crowd also pops.

HHH: Undertaker, just remember this, I am the King of Kings, and I am the WWE Champion, and it is staying like that after Wrestlemania, by any means necessary, just because I am…

“I’m Back†plays to a chorus of boos as Eric Bischoff comes out interrupting Triple H.

Bischoff: Hunter, Hunter, hey, hold on a minute, I just recall I have not tell you how happy I am on having you as my WWE Champion, and even more happy as having you in WWE’s main event at Wrestlemania!

Crowd boos at Bischoff kissing ass.

Bischoff: And quite frankly, there isn’t anyone more excited with this Triple H and Undertaker exchange than me, because, it just goes to hype the match that will single handedly show why WWE is better than ECW. After all, as I like to say, controbersy creates cash.

HHH: Controversy creates cash indeed, but you don’t need that when you are this talented, you don’t need that when you are The Game, when you are that Damn Good!

Bischoff: But me Hunter, I love it, and in the end, I call the shots. And after a long thought on what would hype even more your match with Taker after last week, I thought, how about if they were tag team partners?

Crowd cheers.

Bischoff: And that’s exactly what you will be tonight Hunter, tag team partners!

HHH: Whoa, whoa, wait a minute, wait a minute, that…

Bischoff: I am sorry Triple H, but this is my final decision. Tonight, in our main event, it will be Triple H teaming up with The Undertaker, to take on two men who quite frankly need all the practice as a team they can get before Wrestlemania, Rob Van Dam and Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Crowd pops as HHH seems to be angry. Bischoff leaves.

JR: We are back and what an announcement made by our GM, and what a main event he made for tonight.

King: But next is a rematch from last show. Goldberg defeated Finlay then and now the Intercontinental Champion wants some retaliation.

“Lambeg†plays to a lot of boos from the audience as Finlay makes his way out, with the Intercontinental Title around his waist. He enters the ring.

“Goldberg’s March†plays as Goldberg makes his classic entrance, from his locker room all the way to the inside of the ring. The referee rings the bell.

Goldberg vs Finlay

As soon as the referee rings the bell, Goldberg shows how focused and intense he is for the match and he dashes toward Finlay, planting him with a clothesline. Finlay gets back to his feet and gets almost immediately planted by a second and even more powerful clothesline. The Intercontinental Champion gets up for the third time, Goldberg quickly measures him and in a rapid movement he plants him with a sidekick right to the jaw of the irish fighter. Goldberg makes the cover: 1…2…, Finlay kicks out. Goldberg, almost unaffected by his failed pinfall, gets back to his feet and grabbing Finlay by the head he gets him up as well. He sets him and then connects him with a Suplex. However, Goldberg doesn’t release it after nailing it, instead gets back to his feet and connects another one, one more time he doesn’t let the Intercontinental Champion go, and connects him with the second suplex. The routine repeats again as Goldberg reincorporates and goes for the third suplex, but this time walking close to the ropes and letting Finlay fell gut first to the top rope instead. Goldberg screams taunting to the crowd and goes to the opposite ropes and side of the ring taunting to his opponent. The Irish gets back to his feet and turns around, Goldberg runs toward him and looks for a clothesline, however the Intercontinental Champion gets out of the way avoiding the maneuver, Goldberg turns around and Finlay plants him with a chop to the chest, he then goes practically crazy landing wildly chops to the chest of Goldberg, even then mixing them up with straight right hands to the head of his opponent, however Goldberg manages to answer back and with one single uppercut knife-like straight to the jaw change the tide of the match.

Goldberg then grabs Finlay and he Irish Whips him toward the ropes. Finlay clashes with them spine first hard against the turnbuckle, then staggers walking right into a back body drop. Goldberg once again taunts to the crowd receiving a huge pop from the audience. He then walks toward the corner and climbs to the second rope, where he taunts the Intercontinental Champion waiting for him to get back to his feet. Finlay finally recovers his standing position and turns around, Goldberg immediately leaps out of the second rope looking for a flying clothesline, however Finlay is able to attack first and avoid that move as he puts his knee on the way of the flying Goldberg, making him land gut first with it and hurt himself. Finlay then plants his rival with a series of clubs right to the middle section and then leg sweeps him down the canvas. Finlay stands on top of Goldberg measuring him and then lets himself fell behind first sitting on the chest and sternum of Goldberg. The crowd boos the Intercontinental Champion. Finlay stands on top of the floored Goldberg once again going to repeat the same punishment. He takes his time taunting at the crowd and messing with them. He finally goes to make the move but before he is able to Goldberg pushes him toward the ropes. Finlay bounces back and gets lifted over Goldberg’s shoulders and connected by a Running Powerslam. Goldberg gets back up feeling the momentum again on his side. He waits for Finlay to get back up but after seeing he isn’t doing so in a high speed, he goes toward him and goes to “help†him, grabbing him by the head, however Finlay counters and reacts first, throwing his opponent toward the ropes. Goldberg lands on the bottom rope throat first. Finlay kicks him then right to the side of the ribs. Finlay measures Goldberg waiting for him to get back up. Goldberg starts doing so and Finlay dashes to the ropes behind him.

The Intercontinental Champion bounces back only to get grabbed by the throat. Goldberg then gets him over his shoulders and Military Presses him, walking around the ring, before finally exploding and hitting a Front Powerslam/Spinebuster variation. Goldberg taunts to the crowd and goes the corner. Finlay takes his time but eventually gets back to his feet, he then turns around only to get almost broken in half by the Spear. Goldberg explodes back to his feet taunting to the crowd announcing the end. He gets the Intercontinental Champion back to his feet and plants him with the Jackhammer. He makes the cover: 1…2…3.

Result: Goldberg defeats Finlay

JR: Once again, Goldberg picks up the win against the Intercontinental Champion.

King: Finlay delivered but it just wasn’t enough.

We see Kurt Angle in front of a camera backstage, ready to speak.

Angle: As you know, tomorrow on ECW I fight MVP for a spot in Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Wrestlemania.

Crowd gives a mixed reaction.

Angle: See, at No Way Out, I made MVP tap out. And tomorrow you can expect the same thing to happen, MVP tapping out like the little bitch he is.

Crowd cheers a little.

Angle: But tonight, well, I am a WWE guy, and to be honest, I hate ECW. I might fight an ECW guy tomorrow against MVP, but tonight, I will show him how I handle ECW trash!

(Commercial)

We return and see Goldberg walking backstage, until he runs into Batista. The crowd cheers at the encounter,

Goldberg: Batista.

Batista: Goldberg.

Goldberg: So, do you have something to say or you are just standing in my way?

Batista: You see, for some reason, you seem to believe that you are the most dominant wrestler in WWE.

Goldberg: I don’t believe it, I am the most dominant wrestler.

Batista: Oh really, for doing what, beating up Finlay? Losing to Triple H week in and week out?

Goldberg: No, for kicking ass week after week after week.

Batista: Well, I’ll tell you what, watch my match against JBL tonight, and then you will see some real domination.

Batista walks out.

King: Oh my God JR, Batista and Goldberg confronting each other? I don’t like what could get out of that.

JR: We’ll have to wait and see, but next is Kurt Angle in action taking on some, “ECW trash

“Medal†plays to a mixed reaction as Kurt Angle makes his way out. “You Suck†chants accompany him to the ring. He then stands in the ring inviting his unknown opponent to come out.

“Loser†plays to a pop from the audience as Mikey Whipwreck makes his surprising way out. He plays to the crowd and then enters the ring. The referee rings the bell.

Kurt Angle vs Mikey Whipwreck

As soon as the referee rings the bell Kurt Angle goes toward his opponent backing him down to a corner. Having him on a corner he starts unfolding with straight right hands right to the body of his opponent. Angle separates from the corner creating some space. (Kane returns, NEXT WEEK)

JR: Kane gave a hell of a performance at No Way Out inside the Elimination Chamber, and next week he will make his return.

King: And speaking of that match, Shawn Michaels also gave a hell of a performance in that match, but in the latest weeks, when you talk about HBK, you have to talk about John Cena and Ric Flair.

JR: Indeed, Flair saw on Cena the future of the business, something didn’t fit to HBK, and last week he was proven right as Cena betrayed Ric Flair.

King: But tonight between Cena and Flair is so much more than that on the line, it is a Money in the Bank spot in the line.

Stone Cold makes the cover: 1…2…, The Undertaker is able to get his shoulder up. Stone Cold seems a little surprised and he remakes the cover, hooking this time both legs of the Deadman in his pinfall attempt: 1…2…, The Undertaker gets one shoulder up again. Austin looks toward his corner as if he was searching for an answer. RVD climbs to the top rope and indicates Austin to bring Taker. The rattlesnake grabs Taker by the arm and he drags him close to his team’s corner, then makes the tag to Rob Van Dam, that is already on the top rope. Rob Van Dam leaps out of the top rope and plants The Undertaker with the Five Star Frog Splash. He then makes the cover: 1…2…, Taker kicks out.

Rob Van Dam gets back to his feet looking for an answer, but out of nowhere Big Show has entered the ring and grabs him by the throat. The referee quickly rings the bell.

Result: Stone Cold and RVD win by DQ

Austin enters the ring trying to defend RVD, but Big Show plants him with a big boot that knocks him down. Big Show then plants RVD with the Showstopper. Big Show then grabs Stone Cold, gets him back to his feet and plants him as well with the Showstopper.

JR: Oh my God King, a message sent by the giant and one could only assume, it was on behalf of the Mcmahons.

King: And at Wrestlemania, with the match being now a Hardcore Match, Big Show could do this at the match and it would be completely legal.

Big Show continues celebrating over Stone Cold and RVD, but Triple H enters back the ring with sledgehammer in hand. The giant backs down saying he doesn’t want a fight and he leaves the ring. Triple H follows him with his sight turning his back to the ring. In the ring, Undertaker sits up and gets back to his feet. Triple H turns around and comes face to face with The Undertaker, that then rolls his eyes to the back of the head and passes his thumb across his throat. Triple H answers back doing his classic taunt in which he throws his arms up and back and shows his chest.

Signal ends with Triple H and Undertaker in each other’s face doing their classic taunts.

Damn, great show.

BM - Flair/Cena. Great match, man. I really liked it and got into it.

WM - There really wasn't one.

BP - Orton/Vince in ring promo. Seemed like good character.

WP - Again, there really wasn't one. It was all excellent.

AC - I've only just recently began reading your work, and it's awesome to say the least. I'm liking your Wrestlemania 24 card, and will be looking forward to it.
