DARK MATCH: KIP SABIAN W/LA TAYLOR VS. RILEY OSBORNE

tumblr_pzfw1rj1bf1vla0d3o1_500.gif

Before the show could begin, we would be treated to a pre show match featuring two talents from the UK Performance Center. In one corner would be the plucky high flyer Riley Osborne while opposing him would be Kip Sabian who was accompanied by his muscle LA Taylor. This would be a fast paced contest which really allowed Riley Osborne to showcase his aerial abilities. Unfortunately just as it seemed that just as Riley had the bout won following a reverse hurricanrana on his opponent. A distraction by LA Taylor as Osborne climbed the turnbuckles allowed Sabian to connect with a rope hung spinning neck breaker to pick up the unpopular victory.

WINNER: KIP SABIAN!

Throne by Bring me the Horizon plays with a comprehensive video package highlighting last week's show. This begins with clips from Session Moth's beer garden in which saw the shocking return of Mason Ryan who attacked and beat down Michael Oku. Following this focus would be given to the debut of Harry Smith before finally the video package ended following Gunther and Ashton Smith's brawl at their weigh in. This latest show would then officially open from inside the BT Sport Studio in London. With a small but lively crowd in attendance, the duo of John Gooden and Wade Barrett hype up tonight's show before sending us to ring for a contract signing and special edition of the beer garden.

Every time we touch by Cascada plays as Session Moth Martina walks around the ringside area ahead of this very special edition of the Beer Garden. Seemingly aware of the importance of the matter, Martina is notably drinking albeit with some disgust on her face a weaker brand of beer. Once she rolls in the ring after dancing on the outside with the fans in attendance. Martina uses this time to officially welcome everyone to this latest edition of her Beer Garden. Calling her show the most must watch television since who shot Phil Mitchell. Martina says that tonight will be a break from the usual theme of her show as instead of her show hosting guests. Her show will instead be the forum for the Contract Signing for the WWE European Championship match at the WWE UK Showcase. With that the cameras pan around the ring and we see some security gathered in the ring as we see both Gunther and Ashton Smith are already seated at the table. Reminding everyone that this is a contract signing and despite personally wanting to see some fists fly, she says that both have agreed with the Guvnor that there will be no more confrontations until the Showcase.

With Nigel McGuinness standing close by and also reading over the contract it is Gunther who signs the contract first. A smug smirk on his face, Gunther makes it clear that this is Ashton's very last chance to recognize the fact that he just isn't good enough and walk away now. From here Gunther tosses the contract across the table and encourages Ashton to learn from the mistakes those before him made. Shaking his head without a word, Ashton Smith signs the contract while Gunther shakes his head dismissively. Saying that he has always been the underdog in his career, Ashton Smith says that the Showcase will be no different but he is more than willing to go through hell to get there. Standing up from his desk, Ashton then says that while this match to him is personal. He acknowledges the skills his opponent possesses and that is why he doesn't want to fight tonight but instead offer him the respect he deserves. With that Ashton Smith offers a handshake to the European champion but rather than accept this offer, Gunther dismissively begins to laugh before he leaves the ring. Nigel quickly follows and the duo head backstage while in the ring Ashton Smith climbs on top of the table and proclaims himself the next European champion!
MATCH #1: WAR GAMES ADVANTAGE MATCH
(REFEREE: OSCAR HARDING)

ANTHONY NESE VS. ILJA DRAGUNOV

Opening the show would be singles action as we saw our first of two War games advantage matches. This match would very much see a contrast of styles and as we had the brash, flashy and arrogant Anthony Nese taking on the no nonsense, hard hitting Ilja Dragunov. This would be a physical clash with Nese proving that he could measure up to Dragunov when it came to strike for strike. However Nese's arrogance and need to put on a show would soon cost him as a springboard moonsault would be avoided by Dragunov. This led to Nese hitting the canvas hard and allowed Ilja to put him down with Torpedo Moscow!

Shepherd: and the winner of the match.. Ilja Dragunov!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Ilja Dragunov rises to his feet. While Dragunov celebrates his victory, the cameras cut backstage where The Throne are watching on angered at this loss.
~ WONDERMENT ~

Continuing on from our segment from the previous week. Having been taken to the kingdom of Wonderland against her will. Xia Brookside finds herself sat at a tea party hosted by "The Red Queen" Isla Dawn. Brookside demands to know why Isla Dawn wants her here. Shaking her head as she says that she wants to tell her everything over lunch. Xia follows by refusing this offer as she wants answers on why Dawn has been watching her. Revealing that Wonderland and her kingdom is a family. Isla says that they are missing one piece and it is a piece she has long been looking for. Calling Xia Brookside her piece and her Alice, Isla says that she want Xia to be hers. Brookside refuses this offer much to Dawn's anger however Xia does agree to a high stakes match at Showcase. As following Dawn's threat that she won't be allowed to leave, Xia agrees to a Welcome to Wonderland clash in which should she lose than she would become Isla's Alice.
~ CORONATION ~

Ahead of the second bout of the evening, some pretaped footage is played and it shows an interview conducted ahead of tonight's show between Joanna Rose and the WWE UK Tag Team Champions Aussie Open. The WWE Tag Team Champions are very amped up as they address their recent defeat to the Work Horsemen. Calling this loss a one off defeat and one they pledge will be rectified very soon. It is Kyle Fletcher who reveals that at the WWE UK Prelude, Aussie Open will be defending their WWE UK Tag Team Championships against The Work Horsemen.
MATCH #2: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: ARTEMIS ORTYGIE)

MARIAH MAY W/CARLOS ROMO VS. AMALE W/FRANCESCO AKIRA AND LUDWIG KAISER

A rematch from several weeks ago would be the next bout of the night as Mariah May took on Amale. With the bad blood running rampant between the pair, this would be more akin to a fight than a match from the off. This was further shown when the official very much offered some leniency when both women brawled through the ring and at ringside. Unlike last time however Amale's attempt to finish Mariah May would be countered before May managed to crucifix Amale for a flash pin fall victory much to the shock and horror of the Foreign Legion!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Mariah May!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Mariah May rolls onto her knees. May has a big smile on her face as she climbs to her feet and is quickly snatched in a tight hug by Carlos Romo. A stunned Amale sits up in the ring while Romo and May continue this celebration. This is until Romo is hit from behind with a forearm by Akira. Leading the charge Ludwig Kaiser starts stomping on the downed Romo while Amale takes advantage of this to blindside May. Akira holds May's arms behind her back while Amale starts to punch her to the midsection when suddenly the lights go out!

To the shock of the crowd and the foreign legion, the lights turn back on and in the ring is the man known as A-Kid now under a mask as Axiom! Quickly Axiom ducks a clothesline attempt from Akira and lands a running knee to Kaiser which sends him falling out of the ring. From here Axiom follows with a discus elbow to the jaw of Akira which knocks him to the canvas while Amale flees the ring. Akira also rolls out to the floor where the Foreign Legion start to regroup while Axiom starts to tend to both Mariah May and Carlos Romo.
~ SUFFER ~

Footage shot by fan cam then plays and it focuses on Nathan Cruz and Katherine Darcy making their arrival to the building. The pair however soon has their arrival cut short when Cruz is leveled with a suitcase held by Angelico. This knocks a stunned Cruz to the ground while a shocked Darcy screams for help. Quickly Cruz follows with a bicycle knee to the jaw of Cruz as he climbs to his feet. This put Cruz on his knees as Angelico looks to the side and sees a flight of stairs. Darcy begs for Angelico to show him mercy but Angelico simply leans into Cruz and tells him that he won't hurt him now as bad as he should. As he is going to save that for the Prelude! With that Angelico walks into the bulding while officials rush onto the scene.
~ SELFISH GENERATION ~

Ahead of the third bout of the night, the cameras take us to the locker room where Eddie Dennis and Gabriel Kidd are standing by. In the background Harry Smith can be seen warming up ahead of his match tonight, while Eddie Dennis and Gabriel Kidd discuss the Prelude. The pairing are confident that they will leave Prelude undefeated as Kassius Ohno and Doug Williams will be the next to fall at the feet of the Selfish Generation. Dennis then tries to rally and fire up Harry Smith, but Smith snatches him by the collar as he reminds him that he isn't his friend or partner. Instead he is here being paid for a job and as long as the money is right, he will continue to do the work he is paid for. Nothing more and nothing less.
MATCH #3: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: CHRIS SHARPE)

AVA EVERETT VS. SESSION MOTH MARTINA

A highly anticipated in ring debut followed in the next bout of the night as Session Moth Martina finally stepped into the ring to compete. Her opponent would be UK performance center standout Ava Everett. This bout would very much be played for laughs with Martina at points commenting on her lack of conditioning and struggling with a bad hangover. This would frustrate Ava Everett, allowing Martina to land some unorthodox offence before finally Martina picked up the win following a middle rope Diving DDT.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match.. Session Moth Martina!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Martina takes a swig of beer following having her arm raised in the air. After breaking out into a dance in the middle of the ring, Martina would run around the ringside area continuing to dance and interact with the fans while backstage Maria Kanellis is shown watching on unimpressed.
~ ADDITIONS ~

The cameras then take us to the office of Anthony Ogogo. The guvnor of WWE UK, Anthony Ogogo reveals that he has personally requested this time in order to make two little announcements for the coming weeks. Firstly having seen the goings on earlier in the evening, Anthony announces that Axiom will be teaming with Carlos Romo and Mariah May to take on The Foreign Legion. Meanwhile his next announcement would concern the UK Showcase, as Ogogo reveals that following the personal request of Finn Balor. His match at the WWE Showcase would be a street fight!
~ OFFERING ~

Still celebrating her victory from earlier in the evening, Session Moth Martina is now a couple of drinks into her celebration. She is soon cut short as Hyan arrives onto the scene in order to address her. Admitting that she is not a fan of Martina's shenanigans but must admit that her show does attract some eyes on it. Hyan says that she wants to b on her show as part of the Prelude and Showcase extravaganza. Much to her chagrin, Martina however says that she will not be doing a show at the event as she has an ass to kick in Maria Kanellis. While Martina then wonders off to continue her celebration, we see an angered Hyan shaking her head.
MATCH #4: WAR GAMES ADVANTAGE MATCH
(REFEREE: TATE MAYFAIRS)

JOE HENDRY VS. MIKE KANELLIS

The next bout of the night would of course be our second War Games advantage match as Joe Hendry battled Mike Kanellis. With these two heated rivals having faced off twice before with a win apiece. This bout would also serve as a decider between the pair, unsurprisingly with their prior knowledge of one another. This bout saw a lot of counter wrestling especially in the opening stages. A turning point in the bout however would be Kanellis countering a Hendry slam and sending Joe stumbling forward into the cornered official Tate Mayfairs. While Tate turned away for this brief moment, Mike used this moment to blast Hendry with a set of brass knuckles. This allowed Mike to then drive Joe into the canvas with the Box Office Smash for the win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Mike Kanellis!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Mike Kanellis climbs to his feet. After having his arm raised, a smirking Kanellis stands tall in the ring while the official checks on a downed Joe Hendry.
~ DECLARATION ~

With the ending of this match and The War Games advantage matches not at a tie. The cameras direct us straight to the office of Anthony Ogogo where the Guvnor of WWE UK is standing by with Simon Miller. Asking the General manager exactly how things will play out now between the two teams at War Games. Ogogo says that while having a tie may be far from ideal. He is fortunate that at the Prelude another member of the Throne is in fact in action. This is why the War Games advantage will now be decided as part of the Session Moth Martina/Maria Kanellis match!
~ RECKONING ~

The cameras then direct us to the locker room area where Zack Gibson is standing by. The fired up Gibson begins to talk his upcoming match with Cara Noir at the Prelude event. Saying that despite what people believe he is far from impressed or intimidated by the painted up freak. Zack Gibson says that he sees Cara Noir for what he really is, a coward who hides behind his face paint and entrance. Someone who is all sizzle and no steak! Which Zack Gibson plans to expose to the entire world when he faces Noir at the Prelude!
MATCH #5: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: CHRIS HATCH)

ANGELICO VS. KEZ EVANS

The next bout of the night would see Angelico return to singles action as he battled WWE UK Performance center trainee Kez Evans. This bout would very much act as a showcase for Angelico ahead of his singles match at the WWE UK Prelude. Despite his opponent possessing a size and strength advantage, Angelico was able to very much control this match and dropped Evans with a shuri knee strike. From here Angelico would then follow up with hitting the fall of the angels on Evans to pick up a definitive victory!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Angelico!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Angelico rises to his feet. After having his arm raised in the air, Angelico celebrates in the ring with his trademark dance much to the crowd's delight.
~ ATTRITION ~

The cameras quickly divert us to the hallway of the building where Simon Miller is standing by with Pete Dunne. Miller is here to interview Pete Dunne who says that he has a big announcement to make regarding his upcoming bout against Trent Seven at the WWE UK Showcase. Before Pete Dunne can reveal this announcement however he is confronted by a frustrated Tyler Bate. Accusing Dunne of getting in his head the other week, Bate says that he is loyal to British Strong Style despite what Pete Dunne says. Dunne responds and says that he knows Bate wants what is best for the group. Which is why at the WWE UK Showcase, Tyler Bate is going to be the special guest referee for Pete Dunne's match with Trent Seven!
~ IMPRESS ME ~

Just ahead of the next bout of the night, the cameras take us to the locker room area where the WWE UK Women's Champion Jinny is standing by. The women's champion is flanked not just by the House of Couture but also Australia's Hottest Commodities and her newest recruit Eliza Alexander. Address the women around her, Jinny says that the coming weeks for them all will be critical. Demanding success and results, Jinny in particular turns the pressure on Alexander as she says that tonight it is her night to collect on the bounty once and for all.
MATCH #6: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: DARRYL SHARMA)

HARRY SMITH W/EDDIE DENNIS VS. LUKE JACOBS

Coming up next was a singles clash as Harry Smith battled a talented young prospect Luke Jacobs. This bout would very much be a no nonsense hard hitting clash between this pair of bruisers. The young prospect Jacobs, would actually have one or two very impressive moments as he even came close to scoring a big upset following a rock bottom. It wouldn't be long however until Smith started to take over and after a big spear he wasted no time in finishing up his opponent with a running powerslam which was followed with a Saito Suplex for the win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Harry Smith!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Harry Smith climbs to his feet. While the stoic Harry Smith simply settles on having his hand raised, the brash Eddie Dennis at ringside can be heard proclaiming Smith as the next commonwealth champion.
~ RECKONING ~

The cameras then direct us to the women's locker room where Katarina Leigh is standing by with Candy Floss, Santana Garrett and Laura Di Matteo. The former general manager addresses her team mates ahead of their match at the WWE UK Prelude. Remarking that the Aussies and the House of Couture may have them beat when it comes to team work. Katarina says their edge is that none of those women have ever had to fight on their own and scratch and claw for anything. Calling their match at the Prelude, a brawl. Katarina says in order to win they have to make the match as gritty and dirty as possible!
~ REBOUND ~

Ahead of the next bout of the night, A pretaped interview is then played and it focuses on Joanna Rose sitting down with Kanji. Kanji is focused and intense as Joanna begins to talk with her about her match with Jessi Kamea at the upcoming Prelude event. Clearly all business and focused on the task at hand, Kanji says that Jessi Kamea will learn the same lesson which Kasey Owens learned. This being that a war with Kanji is not something to take lightly nor is it something that anyone should want. Which is what she is planning to prove in person to Jessi Kamea!
MATCH #7: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: KATIE WALKER)

MICHAEL OKU W/AMIRA BLAIR VS. MASON RYAN

The seventh match of the night would see Mason Ryan make his return to the WWE as he took on Michael Oku. This very much would be a david vs goliath clash with Ryan's size and strength very much being a big difference maker. Looking to rely on his speed and technique, Oku would relentlessly seek to ground the powerhouse but in the early going he would simply easily be thrown aside. This would be until Michael began to go to work on Mason's knee. While Aaron Chalmers and Adam Maxted watched on from the ramp, Oku would eventually manage to take Ryan down and clamp on the single leg crab for a submission!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Michael Oku!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Michael Oku releases the hold. While Michael Oku is joined in the ring by Amira and the pair celebrate this victory. We see at the top of the ramp both Adam Maxted and Aaron Chalmers watching on unimpressed.
~ PLEDGE ~

Following this match, the cameras direct us to the hallway of the arena where Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe are standing by. This vicious duo make it clear that they are not intimidated or threatened by this so called new side of Finn Balor. Branding him weak and saying he is like a dying animal flailing wildly. Calling the stipulation something which they plot to exploit, this sinister duo make it clear that what they did to Finn Balor previously, will absolutely pale in comparison to what they will do to him in the ring at the Showcase!
~ REUNITED ~

Making their way out of the building both Carlos Romo and Mariah May seem caught off guard still by what transpired earlier in the night. As they near their car the pair find Axiom waiting for them. While Mariah gleefully hugs Axiom, Carlos Romo is notedly distant until Axiom turns to him. Apologizing to him for his past mistakes, Axiom says that he knows words can only do so much and that it's his actions which will make the difference. With that Romo nods his head and finally the pair shake hands as they pledge to defeat the Foreign Legion at Prelude.
MAIN EVENT: SINGLES MATCH
(Senior Official: Thomas Scarborough)

ELIZA ALEXANDER VS. RAQUEL LOURENCO

It was finally time for the main event of the evening as Eliza Alexander takes on Raquel Lourenco. This would unsurprisingly be a hard hitting clash as Alexander and Lourenco truly went to war in the ring. With hard strikes traded back and forth, it seemed that Lourenco finally had someone who could dish out as much punishment as she could. With both women having their moments throughout the bout, we'd see midway through the contest that Jinny would walk out onto the stage in order to get a closer look. Despite Jinny being present, Lourenco stayed focused on the task at hand and connected with a big superkick to the jaw of Alexander before spiking Alexander into the mat with a high angle belly to back suplex. From here Raquel would choke out Eliza with the killer clutch!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Raquel Lourenco!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Raquel Lourenco rises to her feet. After having her hand raised, Lourenco turns to the stage and stares down Jinny who raises her women's championship high in the air.

To close the show "The Guvnor" Anthony Ogogo walks out from the back. The general manager of the WWE UK brand heads down to the ring to respectful applause from the crowd before grabbing a microphone. Once he is in the ring, Anthony Ogogo starts by first off expressing his excitement for both the Prelude and the WWE UK Showcase. Calling these two events the pinnacle of the UK wrestling scene and wrestling in Europe as a whole. Anthony Ogogo credits the wrestlers in the back and the fans in attendance and watching at home for getting the brand to this point. However unfortunately now is where the positives must end and Anthony Ogogo must focus on the negatives and a particularly troubling situation which recently arose with the brand. Saying that the brand was hit with numerous complaints of the dastardly actions of one man and unfortunately this man is the one representing the WWE UK Brand. Anthony Ogogo says that he has personally requested this time now to call Spike Trivet to the ring.

The crowd erupts into boos as Spike Trivet walks out from the back accompanied by Ridge Holland. The WWE UK champion has a smug, arrogant smile on his face despite the jeers as he walks down to the ring and stands across from an unimpressed Anthony Ogogo. Addressing the champion, Anthony Ogogo says that as a competitor he has seen none as tenacious, driven, determined and willing to do what is necessary as Spike Trivet. Crediting Spike for seemingly always finding a way to win or come out on top. Anthony Ogogo says that while Trivet may not be a popular figure, there is no denying he has championship caliber abilities. However being a champion isn't just about what you can do in the ring. It's also about how you act and carry yourself, calling Trivet someone who considers himself a cut above. Ogogo admits that because Trivet is all about reigning supreme, that he is even more surprised that Spike has conducted himself in a way that is not only an affront to the brand but also to the title of champion. Calling his cheap shots of Tegan Nox despicable and not how a champion should conduct himself. Ogogo follows by saying that with his actions Trivet has disgraced himself, the brand and that championship and he wants to know why.

Taking the microphone, Spike Trivet once again starts by proclaiming himself the ruler of the WWE UK brand. Calling what he did to Tegan Nox just a reminder that as a ruler one must be capable of acts of kindness and acts of cruelty at the same time. Refusing to accept wrong in what he did, Trivet said that while his actions may have seemed cruel at first. He was kind because at least he left her able to walk and not in need of another knee surgery. Saying that he has nothing to apologize for and wants the focus of this brand to move from poor little Tegan Nox to where it should have been the entire time with it's Sovereign Lord. Spike Trivet then follows by saying that he isn't out here to discuss Tegan Nox any more but he is instead out here to find out who his opponent at the UK Showcase will in fact be! With a smile on his face, Anthony Ogogo says that he gave Spike a chance to apologize for what he did. But now knowing that Spike won't hold himself accountable, Anthony Ogogo would like to introduce the world to the person who will hold Spike Trivet accountable at the UK Showcase!

The crowd are in shock as the theme music of Tegan Nox begins to play. Both Spike Trivet and Ridge Holland turn to the stage as a bemused Trivet appears to be taken aback by this announcement. With both Holland and Trivet facing the entrance ramp, a chair wielding Tegan Nox slides under the bottom rope behind them. With a smile on his face, Anthony Ogogo nods his head as Tegan Nox kicks Ridge Holland from behind for a low blow. Holland doubles over and Spike Trivet turns around to be met with a chair to the midsection. While a winded Trivet falls to a knee, Tegan Nox follows up with a big chair shot across the back of Holland sending him tumbling out of the ring. Trivet climbs to his feet enraged at what has happened by Nox meets him with a low blow to cheers from the crowd. Wincing in pain, Trivet is defenseless as Tegan Nox then follows up by choke slamming Trivet into the mat! While Trivet rolls out of the ring where Ridge Holland begins helping his boss recollect himself, in the ring Tegan Nox stands tall as the show comes to a close!

WWE UK SHOWCASE IX

SSE ARENA | BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND

01/09/20
CARD CONFIRMED SO FAR
WWE UK WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP

JINNY (C) VS. RAQUEL LOURENCO

The first match confirmed for the 9th WWE UK Showcase will be a highly personal clash for the UK Women's Championship. The WWE UK Women's Champion Jinny and her opponent Raquel Lourenco have a lot of history with one another and a lot of bad blood. Lourenco of course won the recent UK Women's Rumble to earn this opportunity. However this bout is for a lot more than just the women's championship. This bout is also for respect and for Lourenco to prove to Jinny and the world her worth. Raquel of course has previously submitted Jinny in the elimination tag team match at the previous showcase but their history dates back a lot further with Lourenco at one stage a member of Jinny's House of Couture faction. Since that time however and under her own employ, Lourenco has flourished in singles competition especially now under her real name as opposed to the Killer Kelly moniker. Will Lourenco be able to dethrone the Fashionista? or will Jinny's reign continue?
WWE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

GUNTHER (C) VS. ASHTON SMITH

The second match confirmed for this upcoming Showcase will be a European Championship match as the Champion Gunther takes on the winner of the Men's WWE UK Rumble Ashton Smith. Smith of course has elected to use his championship opportunity which he won with the Rumble victory to challenge for the European Championship as opposed to the UK Championship. However as we'd learn from Ashton Smith this was down to reasons a lot more closer to home. Since Gunther's arrival to the WWE UK Brand and his European championship victory, it seems that Gunther's in ring performances and dominance have been over shadowed by the injuries he has caused his opponents. So far Shelton Benjamin, Joseph Conners and Rampage Brown have all been casualties of the Ring General. It is the Brown one of course which truly has ruffled the feathers of Smith with him and Brown being former tag team partners and close friends. This is why Smith has elected to challenge Gunther, not only to become the next European Champion but also to avenge his friend. Will Ashton overcome the reign of the Ring General?
WAR GAMES

THE THRONE (ANTHONY NESE, BO DALLAS, CURTIS AXEL, MATT TAVEN AND MIKE KANELLIS) VS. ADAM BROOKS, ILJA DRAGUNOV, JOE HENDRY, MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER

The third match confirmed for this ninth showcase will be historic as for the very first time since the WWE UK Brand's inception, we will see our very first WAR GAMES match! This ten man contest will see The Throne take on the collective of Adam Brooks, Ilja Dragunov, Joe Hendry, Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster. This match has come about due to the often controversial tactics and methods employed by the 2020 king of the ring Mike Kanellis. Often using outside interference from his allies in his faction known as the Throne, Kanellis has found himself with quite a few enemies. Starting out with Morgan Webster who he assaulted backstage at Showcase Syndey, before alienating the likes of Adam Brooks and Mark Andrews. Kanellis' aim as of late however has been to humble Joe Hendry and make him his jester following a series of custom songs that Hendry has used to serenade the King of the ring, his wife and subjects. But it is through his targeting of Hendry that Joe has come together with Brooks, Webster and Andrews while his close friend Ilja Dragunov has also come to stand against the Throne alongside them. This has led to numerous backstage and arena wide brawls with both teams especially since Kanellis has bought in his right hand man Matt Taven. Will this Showcase finally see the Throne crumble?
BRITISH STRONG STYLE COLLIDES

TRENT SEVEN VS. PETE DUNNE ~ SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: TYLER BATE

The fourth match confirmed for this upcoming UK Showcase will perhaps be it's most personal as former friends, stablemates and tag team partners collide when Trent Seven takes on Pete Dunne. These two of course were once allies as part of the collective of British Strong Style faction. In fact at one stage this pairing was the WWE UK Tag Team Champions together. However over time it seemed that the pair would begin to differ over the plans for the future of this group and also Seven's growing influence over Dunne's protege Millie McKenzie. This would lead to a stunning betrayal as Trent Seven, Tyler Bate and Millie McKenzie viciously attacked and beat down Pete Dunne kicking him out of the group. Since that time Pete Dunne has pledged that he will tear British Strong Style apart from the seems. Although as of late it seems that Trent Seven and hus methods have brought him into conflict with another stablemate as Tyler Bate doesn't quite seem to be following the program either. Which surprisingly saw Dunne reach out to his old rival and express his concern for Seven's plans and plotting. Which begs the question, what does the wily Seven have up his sleeve with this match officially being sanctioned for Showcase? Adding to the intrigue of the bout will be the recent announcement that Tyler Bate is acting as the special guest referee. While there is no love lost between Bate and Dunne. Lately Bate and Seven have come into conflict frequently. Will Bate call this bout down the middle?
HANDICAP STREET FIGHT

FINN BALOR VS. ALEXANDER WOLFE AND KILLIAN DAIN

The fifth match confirmed for the Showcase event promises to be a fiery affair as Finn Balor will take on the two men who recently returned to the WWE UK Brand and launched a vicious attack on him Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain. This twisted duo who were of course one time former NXT tag team champions under the moniker of Sanity, have yet to truly explain the reasoning for why they attacked and assaulted Finn Balor several weeks ago. Yet what they didn't seem to be counting on was the domino effect that their attack would actually cause. As ever since that attack, a series of cryptic videos have played displaying a new side of Finn Balor. Stoic and speaking about releasing the demons from inside of himself, Finn Balor has pledged that at the Showcase the world will see the real Finn Balor. Just what can be expected from this haunting promise? Especially now with the announcement that Finn Balor has requested this bout be a Street fight.
WELCOME TO WONDERLAND

ISLA DAWN VS. XIA BROOKSIDE

A high stakes contest has also been set for the WWE UK Showcase as "The Red Queen" Isla Dawn will take on Xia Brookside in the very first Welcome to Wonderland match. This match which is believed to be filmed and taking place in Isla Dawn's apparent kingdom has come around following Isla Dawn seemingly taking an interest in Xia Brookside following the UK Women's Rumble. Dawn of course is the queen or apparent queen of her so called wonderland filled with many subjects. However during a recent segment she revealed that her kingdom wasn't complete and she was still seeking her 'Alice' which we now know, Dawn believes to be Xia Brookside. Brookside for her part brushed off Isla's offer to join her but would surprisingly instead accept Isla's challenge. The challenge being that if Isla Dawn is able to defeat Xia Brookside in this match, then Xia Brookside will become the latest individual who will serve in her Wonderland faction. Just what we can expect from this journey to Wonderland?
WWE UK CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

SPIKE TRIVET (C) VS. TEGAN NOX

The WWE UK Championship will also be on the line in what will be a historic match for the WWE UK Brand. As for the very first time, an intergender match will be featured since it's inception. This match will see the WWE UK Championship also on the line as the champion Spike Trivet puts his title on the line against former WWE UK Women's Champion Tegan Nox. The seeds for this unlikely match were planted months ago when because of a clause in her contract Tegan Nox could no longer challenge for the WWE UK Women's Championship. In turn Nox would look to alternative methods to hold gold including entering herself in the men's UK Rumble. Since that time Tegan has seemingly been in Spike Trivet's crosshairs as the new champion seems convinced that Nox has done all of this to simply steal his thunder. Now following Anthony Ogogo's orders, this match will take place at this coming showcase and the title will in fact be on the line. Can Tegan Nox shock the world and become the WWE UK Champion?

WWE UK PRELUDE
31/8/20
SINGLES MATCH

DOUG WILLIAMS VS. GABRIEL KIDD

A heated grudge match has been confirmed for WWE UK Prelude as Gabriel Kidd will take on Doug Williams. This will be a clash been a former pupil and his mentor as Doug Williams looks to gain some revenge and retribution against his protege. Kidd of course while previously showing a lot of issues with his anger and temper, shocked the WWE UK fan base with a recent assault on Doug Williams. Despite being rumored to have suffered some apparent injuries from this attack, we know that Doug Williams has personally requested this bout in an effort to teach his former protege a lesson. The question is, just what condition is Doug Williams in for this match?
COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP

KASSIUS OHNO (C) VS. HARRY SMITH W/EDDIE DENNIS

The Commonwealth championship will also be on the line as Kassius Ohno takes on the other member of the Selfish Generation Eddie Dennis. Since his arrival to the WWE UK Brand, Eddie Dennis has established himself as a noted problem causer and disturber. One person who seems to have taken note and drunk the kool aid is Gabriel Kidd which led him to attacking Doug Williams. This did not sit well with Kassius Ohno who declared that while he was happy to leave Gabriel Kidd to suffer the wrath of Williams. He was more than happy and ready to punish Eddie Dennis. Which has led to this match being announced for Prelude. However as we'd soon find with Eddie Dennis, the Welshman always had a trick or two up his sleeve and this was shown the week following the announcement of this match. As Eddie Dennis provided Anthony Ogogo with a doctor's note ruling him out of competition for this match and has brought in a replacement being the hard hitting, decorated multi generational talent Harry Smith. With this change of opponent, will Kassius Ohno be able to overcome the odds?
SINGLES MATCH

ANGELICO VS. NATHAN CRUZ

Another heated grudge match announced for Prelude will see Angelico take on Nathan Cruz. Two of the WWE UK's fastest rising stars, will collide in this bout which very much has come together over a woman. This woman in question being Nathan Cruz's girlfriend Katherine Darcy who has clearly enjoyed riling up her boyfriend's possessive nature. On a recent episode of WWE UK, Nathan Cruz because of this provocation launched into a nasty attack on the ladies man Angelico. Which has led to Angelico responding by costing him a match. Now this feuding pair will have a chance to settle their differences at Prelude!
8 WOMAN TAG TEAM MATCH

AUSTRALIA'S HOTTEST COMMODITIES (INDI HARTWELL AND PERSIA PIROTTA) AND HOUSE OF COUTURE (LANA AUSTIN AND NINA SAMUELS) VS. CANDY FLOSS, KATARINA LEIGH, LAURA DI MATTEO AND SANTANA GARRETT

A eight woman tag team match has also been confirmed for Prelude based on a series of wild brawls that have taken place in the run up to Prelude. On one side of the equation will be the alliance formed between Australia's Hottest Commodities and The House of Couture. While opposing them will be the quartet of Candy Floss, Laura Di Matteo, Santana Garrett and former general manager Katarina Leigh. In a bit of an extra exclusive as per WWE.COM. We now know that this bout will not just be an elimination tag team match but will also be contested under street fight rules. Which team will remain standing at Prelude?
SINGLES MATCH

KANJI VS. JESSI KAMEA

One last match confirmed as per WWE.COM will be a grudge match between Kanji and Jessi Kamea. A plucky figure who graduated from just a fan behind the rail to a wrestler. Kanji has steadily become one of WWE UK's most popular stars. Yet it seems her popularity has put her in the crosshairs of "The Total Diva". An NXT star who has come over to WWE UK to prove her worth. The vain and arrogant Kamea seems to have set her sights firmly on Kanji with a recent attack. Of course not one to back down, Kanji would respond with an assault of her own on Kamea which has led to this match being arranged for Prelude.
SIX PERSON TAG TEAM MATCH

TEAM WHITE WOLF (AXIOM, CARLOS ROMO AND MARIAH MAY) VS. THE FOREIGN LEGION (AMALE, FRANCESCO AKIRA AND LUDWIG KAISER)

A special Six Person match has also been confirmed for the Prelude as feuding stables Team White Wolfe and the Foreign Legion will collide. With Both stables experiencing a lot of change as of late it is perhaps Team White Wolf who have experienced the most turmoil with A-Kid and Carlos Romo frequently coming into conflict with one another leading to A-Kid seemingly walking away from the team for the time being. While A-Kid may have gone however this has not stopped the White Wolf team being harassed by the Foreign Legion. The legion of course having undergone it's own changers with the arrival of it's newest member from Italy, Francesco Akira. Despite the numbers being against them, the pair of Mariah May and Carlos Romo personally requested this bout in the hopes of silencing the Foreign Legion once and for all. However over the last few weeks videos played indicating that A-Kid had gone away to rediscover himself and on this most recent show he returned a new man under mask under the name of Axiom and reunited with his friends to fight the Legion. Now back with a renewed purpose, Will Team White Wolf return to form in this must win match?
WAR GAMES ADVANTAGE MATCH

MARIA KANELLIS VS. SESSION MOTH MARTINA

A surprising recent addition to the Prelude Card will be a women's match between two women who have in fact yet to have a match as part of the UK Brand will collide in singles action. As for the first time Maria Kanellis will compete in a WWE UK ring opposite the host of The Beer Garden Session Moth Martina. These two women have frequently come into verbal conflict with one another which has steadily involved into some more physical confrontations. Now we know that Maria herself has personally called for this bout and has pledged to make Martina her own personal court jester. Will Maria succeed in doing just that to the party mad moth? Adding to the intrigue of the bout is the news that this match will now be the final war games advantage match and it will be down to Maria to secure the advantage for her team the Throne. Will she be able to give her team the advantage?
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH
(If Michael Oku wins. He get's an immediate match with Aaron Chalmers)

MICHAEL OKU VS. ADAM MAXTED W/AARON CHALMERS

On a night packed full of intriguing clashes and bad blood. There is quite possibly not a match which has attracted as many eyes on it as the recently announced bout between Michael Oku and Adam "Flex" Maxted. This bout has very much captured the imagination of many even outside the wrestling fanbase thanks to the involvement of Geordie Shore's Aaron Chalmers. Oku has of course taken exception to Chalmers who he has branded a parasite and a clout chaser looking to leech off of the wrestling world. This has led to Chalmers reaching out to some of his wrestling contacts with reality tv backgrounds such as Davey Blaze. However none have thus far shown themselves to be as dangerous as Love Islands' Adam Maxted. For this match at the showcase Oku will have to overcome the titan that is Maxted while knowing a win will not be the end of his night as if he can defeat Maxted he will then face off right after with Aaron Chalmers. Will Oku be able to overcome the odds?
WWE UK TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

AUSSIE OPEN (KYLE FLETCHER AND MARK DAVIS) (C) VS. THE WORK HORSEMEN (ASHER HALE AND JD DRAKE)

The final bout of the prelude will be a WWE UK Tag Team Championship match as Aussie Open defend their championships against the veteran team The Work Horsemen. The work horsemen of course are a pair of seasoned veterans with world wide experience who have recently started to make their mark in the WWE UK Tag Team Division. This includes a big non title victory over the champions which seems to have very much upset and frustrated the duo of Fletcher and Davis. Especially Fletcher who has taken an apparent dislike to the veterans. With this match set for the titles, will the Work Horsemen be able to pick up another win over the champions?

Entrance+1.gif

Opening the show would be a dark match featuring six of the top unsigned talents from around Europe. This six pack challenge would be a wild match in which all the participants involved would have their moments to shine. Filled with some impressive high flying from both Tihanyi and Blanc, technical work by Gunns, power moves from Bullit, hard hitting action from Jacobs and comedy from Ace. This match would go a brisk 8 minutes before finally it was Luke Jacobs who picked up the win following a big lariat on Ace Matthews.

Winner ~ Luke Jacobs
giphy.gif
For this very special evening it would be the song of Seven Devils by Florence and the Machine which opened up the show. As always there would be a video package which would highlight many of the key events leading up until the Prelude event. With prominent focus of course being given to the main event of the evening. Following the Video package, the cameras official open up from inside the Kings' Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland. With a packed and lively crowd in attendance, Wade Barrett and John Gooden do their best to hype up the night before sending us to the ring for the opening bout.
MATCH ONE: WWE UK TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
(SENIOR REFEREE: THOMAS SCARBOROUGH)

AUSSIE OPEN (KYLE FLETCHER AND MARK DAVIS) (C) VS. THE WORK HORSEMEN (ASHER HALE AND JD DRAKE)

Kicking off the evening would of course be tag team action as The Work Horsemen battled Aussie Open for the WWE UK Tag Team Championships. With the hostilities between these two teams slowly building over the past few months. It was no surprise that this was an aggressive bout even from the opening as Kyle Fletcher and Asher Hale would start with some fast paced and quite rough chain wrestling with one another. Neither man would really get a true edge on one another in this match but we would see the back and forth begin to frustrate Kyle. This led to Fletcher slapping Asher Hale who responded with a hard kick to the chest of Kyle knocking him down to the canvas. Clearly frustrated and embarrassed by this, Fletcher on rising to his feet would hit JD Drake on the ring apron with a forearm to the face. This would knock JD Drake off the apron but soon this decision would back fire on Fletcher spectacularly.

As Kyle ducked a series of kicks Hale threw at him and looked to take refuge at ringside only to back up into the clutches of JD Drake. While Drake threw Fletcher across the ringside area, there was a noted shift in the crowd support as fans seemed to be getting more behind the Work Horsemen thanks to the obnoxious behavior of Fletcher. On his return back into the ring, Fletcher was then met with a series of kicks until he'd make the tag out to Davis. Unlike the abrasive Fletcher, Davis was shown to be a lot more respectful of his opponents. However this did not mean he held back in the ring as he would land some punishing strikes on both men until finally the big man JD Drake busted out some of his impressive athleticism and landed a enzugiri to Davis. This allowed Hale to follow with a running knee strike for a very close near fall. From here the challengers would soon grab another near fall following a superkick from Hale on Fletcher.

Despite their opponents strong start, the champions would manage to rally back and prove their mettle. This would include by taking some surprising risks as Mark Davis took the skies and landed a big suicide dive out of the ring onto James Drake. With the two giants wiped out, Fletcher and Hale would continue their battle as they traded strikes in the ring. After blocking a kick of Hale, Fletcher landed a leaping kick on his opponent and attempted a tiger driver to end things. However Hale is able to counter with a back drop before he hits the ropes and catches Fletcher running off with a penalty kick. Rolling into the ring, Davis attempted a big clothesline on Hale who managed to duck under it before hitting a round house kick. From here Hale tagged out to JD Drake who sprung into the ring with an elbow drop onto Kyle Fletcher for a close near fall. Soon after however the tide would turn following a missed moonsault by Drake which saw him hit the canvas hard. A axe kick followed by Fletcher across the back of the head of the winded Drake. From here, Kyle made the tag to Mark Davis.

Once he was in the ring, Davis followed with a big spear on JD Drake which put him down on the canvas for a near fall. Looking to keep momentum on side, Kyle Fletcher attempted a running forearm on Asher Hale which Hale blocked and responded with a shot of his own. Looking to take back some momentum, Hale looked to spring in the ring but as he did so he'd be blasted in mid air with a pounce by Mark Davis. This big shot would lay out Hale and from here Davis and Fletcher would in a big display of power manage to drive Drake into the canvas with Coriolis before making the match winning cover!

Shepherd: and the winners of the match and still champions... Aussie Open

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Aussie Open stand tall in the ring. While the champions are presented with their titles, the challengers slowly rise to their feet in the ring. After a small face off, Kyle Fletcher nods his head before finally Aussie Open and the Work Horsemen shake hands. From here Aussie Open continue their celebration while Hale and Drake leave the ring.
~ THRONE ROOM ~

Following the match, a replay highlights the run of War Games Advantage matches which of course culminated in a 2-2 split. We are then directed to the dressing room of the Throne where Mike Kanellis is pacing back and forth while his wife Maria gets ready for her match tonight. Stopping her warm up, Maria addresses her husband as she says that she is far from happy that it has fallen onto her shoulders. However she will prove that like her husband, she can lead by example and will ensure that the Throne has the advantage going into War Games!
~ LESSONS ~

Right before the second bout of the night can take place, the titantron plays footage filmed from earlier in the day and this is a pre taped interview with Simon Miller and Doug Williams. The UK wrestling legend is very much all business ahead of his bout with Gabriel Kidd tonight. Stating that he wanted nothing more than to help Gabriel confront his demons and become the star he believed he could be. Doug calls Gabriel throwing that in his face and siding with Eddie Dennis the ultimate slap in the face. Stating that he tried to teach Gabriel how to control his emotions, Williams says he now knows exactly how to beat Gabriel and get in his head. After that Doug promises that he will get his hands on Eddie Dennis to show him that while his best days are behind him, he can kick his ass once again!
MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: KATIE WALKER)

JESSI KAMEA VS. KANJI

The second bout of the night would be a singles match in the women's division as Kanji would take on "The Total Diva" Jessi Kamea. With some noted bad blood between the pair it was no surprise that this bout got off to a jump start when Kamea blindsided Kanji in the corner and drilled her with a series of punches and strikes before the bell could even ring. The referee of the contest, Katie Walker would attempt to instill some control in this bout. However this did not stop Kamea right away as she stomped on the cornered Kanji. Finally getting the match under control, Katie Walker would check on Kanji in the corner who made it clear that she was OK to compete. Waving away the doctors at ringside, the bell would then ring to start the match and almost immediately Kamea went for broke with a running big boot on Kanji. Stalking Kanji as she rose to her feet, Kamea would then follow with the Beauty Shot spin kick. The smug Kamea taunts over the downed Kanji before making a cover only to be stunned when Kanji kicks out at a count of two.

The livid Kamea would argue with the referee before dragging Kanji to her feet. Shoving her back into the corner, Kamea slapped Kanji before hitting the ropes. When she run off however, Kanji was met with a running forearm smash by Kanji. Launching into a comeback, Kanji began taking Kamea down to the mat with a series of arm drags before following with a dropkick. Looking to keep up her run of offense, Kanji followed with a bulldog on her opponent for a near fall. From here Kanji would climb the turnbuckle and wait for Kamea to rise to her feet. Diving off from the top rope, Kamea's crossbody attempt was avoided by Kamea leaving her to crash and burn. The winded Kanji then stumbled to her feet only to be planted into the canvas with a reverse STO. Screaming at Kanji that she is an Uggo and not good enough to be here, Kamea then motioned for another beauty shot. This time however Kanji managed to duck under and take out Kamea's leg with a chop block. Kamea takes a knee as she screams out in pain while Kanji wastes no time in connecting with a hidden blade forearm on Kamea! Kamea is out and a fired up Kanji continues to reign down forearms onto Kamea until Katie calls for the bell for the TKO finish.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Kanji!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Kanji climbs to her feet. The fired up Kanji has her arm raised by the referee before she leaves the ring. While the official checks on the downed Kamea who is still yet to move. At ringside Kanji has a tense stare down with a woman in the crowd.
~ LUCK ~

The cameras then take us to the hallway of the arena where Session Moth Martina is stretching ahead of her match tonight. Session Moth is soon joined by Joe Hendry who she greats with a hug. Talking to his friend about her match tonight, Joe warns Martina that the Throne are slippery but that he and the rest of the guys will have her back tonight should she need it. Thanking Joe, Martina promises that tonight she will kick the Queen's ass and leave the rest of the Throne to him. With that Hendry walks away but Martina is quickly joined by Hyan. Hyan once more asks to be on Martina's show, this time at the showcase but Martina tells her that she needs to focus on her match tonight before looking ahead to the showcase. As Martina walks off, an angered Hyan shakes her head.
~ HYPED ~

Ahead of the next bout of the night, we are then directed to the locker room area where Adam Maxted is in the process of doing some bicep curls. As the impressive physical specimen Maxted continues his workout, he is joined by Aaron Chalmers. The smug Chalmers is very quick to promote and hype up his associate ahead of his match tonight with Michael Oku. The arrogant Chalmers, is quick to point out that Oku is far from their level and that tonight is all about to prove that they are the stars he will only dream of becoming!
MATCH #3: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: CHRIS SHARPE)

DOUG WILLIAMS VS. GABRIEL KIDD W/EDDIE DENNIS

The third bout of the evening was a singles match and this was a highly anticipated grudge match as student and teacher would collide when Gabriel Kidd battled his former mentor Doug Williams. With his Selfish Generation cohort Eddie Dennis taking a seat at the commentary desk. In the early going of this match, Gabriel Kidd looked to try and outwrestle his former mentor. This however as we'd see would prove to be a mistake as Doug Williams very much controlled him and outwrestled him. Locking Kidd in several holds and grounding him on the canvas. Williams seemed to enjoy humiliating Kidd as he outclassed him on the mat. Showing his anger and frustration which he has been accustomed to, Kidd wildly would swing at Doug and when he did he would be taken down and controlled further. This would be until after a few minutes of this Kidd bailed out to the floor where Eddie Dennis stepped from behind the commentary table to comfort him. Managing to get Gabriel to calm down, Eddie could be heard telling Kidd to snap back into reality and take control of the situation.

From this point onwards the match would shift and become a lot more back and forth with Gabriel Kidd's hard hitting offense helping him get back into the action. His mean streak and viciousness shining through, Kidd really set apart targeting the head of Williams in an effort to offset his equilibrium. This included landing short strikes to the side of Doug's head and temple when they was in close and several rabbit punches when he had the opportunity. This offense gradually started to take a toll on Doug who was shown at points to be quite stunned and compromised in moments. To his credit Williams however stayed in the battle and actually managed to stun Kidd with a European uppercut of his own. Looking to continue his momentum Doug landed a DDT on Gabriel before motioning for the Chaos Theory. A back elbow from Kidd however managed to counter this before he'd throw Williams shoulder first into the ring post!

This would very much be a real turning point in the bout as Gabriel Kidd upped his aggression and began really uncorking some hard strikes on Doug Williams to punish him. An attempt at a back pack stunner by Gabriel however would be blocked and Williams proceeded to hit the ropes. Running off from the ropes Doug attempted a tornado DDT which Kidd was able to use to shove him off. Disorientated from the landing and the spin, Doug stumbles to his feet where he is met with a sick kick right to the jaw. This puts Williams down on the canvas and we'd see Kidd follow with a Madman bomb to pick up the win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Gabriel Kidd!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made. While the referee checks on the downed Doug Williams, Eddie Dennis joins Gabriel in the end and raises his arm in the air to jeers.
~ ALWAYS READY TO MAKE HISTORY ~

The cameras then direct us to the office of "The Guvnor" Anthony Ogogo. The Guvnor has a big smile on his face as he reveals he has asked for this time to make a couple of announcements. These announcements relate to the future of the WWE UK Brand as we enter the ninth Showcase. Already looking ahead at the historic tenth UK showcase. Anthony reveals that the tenth showcase will take place where it all began inside the empress ballroom in Blackpool. It is then that Anthony follows by confirming that the women's team which wins the British Bulldog Tag Team Classic will challenge the WWE women's tag team champions at Showcase Ten! As the cameras begin to pan away, Ogogo follows with one last announcement. Mentioning how in the past some talents from across the pond such as Mike Kanellis, Shelton Benjamin and others made their mark in WWE UK. Ogogo says following some recent discussions with the powers that be, he is proud to welcome the first of two talents who will be coming this way on excursion!

WOO WOO WOO! ZACK RYDER is coming to WWE UK!

"THE MAJOR PLAYER"! CURT HAWKINS is coming to WWE UK!
MATCH #4: COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(REFEREE: TATE MAYFAIRS)

KASSIUS OHNO (C) VS. HARRY SMITH W/EDDIE DENNIS

For the second time of the evening Eddie Dennis would be present at ringside and on commentary as his representative Harry Smith battled Kassius Ohno for the Commonwealth Championship. These two hard hitting big men would quicky get things underway as they met in the center of the ring and began trading heavy punches back and forth with one another. Soon the punches shift to forearms and uppercuts from both men as neither seem willing to take a step back. Gradually getting the better of the exchanges, Kassius Ohno upped the ante as he landed a big boot to the jaw of Harry Smith. This wobbles Smith and we see Kassius Ohno continue his build of momentum following an olympic slam on Smith. The bruising Smith however is far from out as he begins to fire back with offense of his own and takes Ohno down with a big shoulder tackle before making a cover for a near fall. Smith then attempts for a powerbomb on Ohno only to have Kassius Ohno fire off several punches to the top of Harry Smith's head allowing him to drop down.

An attempt at a cyclone kick however is blocked before Smith hits a big, high angled saito suplex on Kassius Ohno. This high angle suplex basically folds Ohno in half. On commentary Eddie Dennis raves about Harry Smith as he proclaims him the next Commonwealth Champion. From here Harry Smith mounts Kassius Ohno and proceeds to blast him with several punches and forearms. This is until Kassius Ohno grabs the bottom rope forcing the referee to force a break to the action. Backing up into the corner Harry Smith is fired up as he stalks Kassius Ohno. Once Ohno is to his feet, Harry Smith charges out from the corner for what looks to be a spear only to have Ohno hit him with a knee lift right to the jaw. With Smith reeling, Kassius Ohno followed up with a cravate suplex putting Smith down on the canvas. From here Ohno follows with a cyclone kick to the jaw of Harry Smith as he starts to take a knee.

With Smith stunned, a livid Eddie Dennis jumps out from behind the commentary table in an attempt to distract Kassius Ohno. This distraction allows Smith to get back to his feet as he begins to recover. Charging at Ohno who has turned around to face him, Smith is stunned when Ohno side steps leaving Smith to knock Eddie Dennis off of the ring apron. Looking to capitalize on this, Kassius Ohno hits Harry Smith with a forearm strike to the back of the head before he follows up with a Heroes Welcome. Much to Ohno's chagrin however, Harry Smith is able to kick out at a count of two. Staggering to his feet, Harry Smith lets out a loud scream as he tries to rally back against Ohno. Kassius however meets him with a series of forearm and elbow strikes to the jaw. Ohno's attempt at a discus elbow however is countered when Smith catches him with a northern lights suplex for a near fall.

Looking to wrap things up Smith seemed to be looking for a Kimura but Ohno is too close to the ropes. Seeking to put Ohno away, Smith lands several big European uppercuts to his jaw before he hoists Ohno onto his shoulders. Smith looks for a running powerslam but Ohno is able to drop down behind before hitting a discus elbow to the back of Smith's head. With Harry Smith stunned by this, Kassius Ohno hits the ropes and runs off with a big forearm smash to the jaw putting Smith down and allowing Ohno to make the cover for the win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion... Kassius Ohno!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Kassius Ohno stands tall in the ring. While Kassius Ohno celebrates his victory and is presented with his title. At ringside a livid Eddie Dennis begins to berate Harry Smith. Starting to get to his feet, Harry Smith shoves Eddie Dennis back unwilling to be spoken to like that. In turn Smith is hit from behind by Gabriel Kidd. Smith falls to the floor and Dennis and Kidd start to put the boots to him until Kassius Ohno rolls out of the ring. Ohno blasts Kidd with a big forearm smash to the jaw sending him stumbling back against the rail. This allows Harry Smith to rise and snatch Eddie Dennis by the collar before launching him at Kidd sending both men over the barricade and out to the floor. While the Selfish Generation retreat into the crowd, Harry Smith turns to Kassius Ohno and shakes his hand before raising his arm in the air to cheers.
~ VICTORY ~

The cameras then cut away from the ringside area and take us to outside the women's locker room. Here Joanna Rose is standing by and soon she is joined by Kanji who is looking to make her exit from the building. Despite her big win over Jessi Kamea, Kanji doesn't seem entirely to be in the best of moods. After congratulating Kanji on her hard fought win, Joanna would look to get her thoughts on the match. Seemingly distracted Kanji kept her answers at a minimum until Joanna looked to address Kanji's altercation with the fan following her match. Shaking her head, Kanji apologizes for her lack of answers but says that some things are best to keep under wraps before she walks off from the interview.
~ LEGIONAIRES ~

From here the cameras then direct us to one of the hallways of the arena. Here is where the Foreign Legion stable is all standing by. Doing the majority of the talking for the team is it's leader Ludwig Kaiser. Kaiser addresses the tag team match tonight as he says that the Foreign Legion tried to avoid this situation and wanted what was best for A-Kid. However he now sees that A-Kid belongs with the uncouth Team White Wolf and he'd never fit in with the Legion. Francesco Akira is the next to speak and he plays up the more vain side of the Legion. Saying that A-Kid wants to now play dress up and be a hero. Akira calls this dreadful and says that tonight they will unmask him as the pathetic little dreamer he is. Closing the promo Amale says tonight is all about Legion supremacy. As not only will they prove that A-Kid chose the wrong side but they will also prove to Carlos Romo and Mariah May. That they do not belong in the same ring as the Foreign Legion!
MATCH #5: WAR GAMES ADVANTAGE MATCH
(REFEREE: CHRIS HATCH)

MARIA KANELLIS VS. SESSION MOTH MARTINA

The fifth bout of the night would be the final war games advantage match as Maria Kanellis battled Session Moth Martina in what was Martina's second ever match since joining the UK Brand. In the early going it seemed this match was played for laughs at least by Martina whose antics would frustrate and anger The Queen. This would be until Maria finally managed to cheap shot Martina. While primarily not a wrestler herself, there was one thing we did know for certain. This of course was Maria had a mean streak and she had no issue in using it to stay ahead. Even if it meant bending the rules as we'd see Maria claw at the face of Martina at one stage in the bout. Despite the effectiveness of the offense. We'd soon see an unexpected consequence of this as Martina began to drop her usual antic filled offense and started to fire up. Rallying back against Maria with a surprising amount of spirit and fire, it didn't take long for Martina to look to have the match won.

In desperation we would see members of the Throne rush down to the ring. However their attempts to intervene would be cut short when they were attacked by Joe Hendry, Ilja Dragunov, Mark Andrews, Morgan Webster and Adam Brooks. With all this brawling at ringside between the two teams ahead of their war games match at the Showcase The official Chris Hatch tried to regain order and control of the situation. Meanwhile in the ring Martina had planted Maria with a tornado DDT and was looking to make the cover. Sadly with the official distracted while security arrived on the scene, no count was made. Climbing to her feet a frustrated Martina would look to call for the referee's attention when she was taken out with a vicious running knee strike to the face by Hyan! The crowd erupts into boos as Martina hits the canvas with a thud and Hyan follows by pulling Maria on top of her before making her escape through the crowd. Unaware of what has transpired, Chris Hatch would then enter the ring and count out Martina.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Maria Kanellis!

The crowd erupts into boos as the announcement is made. A stunned Maria slowly climbs to her feet and has her arm raised in the air while the rest of the Throne gather around ringside. While this is going on at the top of the stage a disheartened Joe Hendry shakes his head as he and his team realize they have lost their advantage.
~ PARTY FOUL ~

On the big screen, an interview then plays as we see Joanna Rose joined by Angelico. As we have seen in the past couple of weeks, this was very much a different Angelico to the usual flirty, party boy that we'd become accustomed. Instead Angelico is quite a serious figure as he talks about his match tonight. Referring to himself as someone always up for a good time. Angelico says that people have to know, that when you stop the party and stop him having his fun. That is when Angelico gets serious and is willing to to raise his fists and fight it out. Promising that tonight he will do just that, Angelico makes it clear that for him he is all business tonight until he finishes what Nathan Cruz started!
~ CONCLUSION ~

Ahead of the next bout of the night the cameras would take us to the hall of the arena. Here we'd see a disappointed Doug Williams beginning to make his leave from the building when he'd be met by Kassius Ohno. Ohno is quick to offer his condolences to Williams regarding his match that night while Doug congratulates Ohno on his victory in turn. As the two veterans talk about their matches, the camera pans back as Gunther and Nigel McGuinness walk into the building. Stopping just before both men, the European champion has a smug smirk on his face before shaking his head dismissively at the pair on his way into the building.
MATCH #6: SIX PERSON TAG TEAM MATCH
(REFEREE: DARRYL SHARMA)

TEAM WHITE WOLF (AXIOM, CARLOS ROMO AND MARIAH MAY) VS. THE FOREIGN LEGION (AMALE, FRANCESCO AKIRA AND LUDWIG KAISER)

The next contest of the night would be a six person tag team match as rival factions Team White Wolf and the Foreign Legion would collide. Starting out this match for their respective teams would be Carlos Romo and Francesco Akira. This would kick the match off to a blistering pace as Romo and Akira would take to the skies very quickly in what was an apparent game of one upmanship between the pair. This seemed to greatly frustrate the vain, arrogant Akira who did not seem to like having someone rival him when it came to the skies. As the match progressed, we'd see the conceited Akira's brash facade begin to fade as he'd blindside Romo and showcase some real ruthlessness beneath his fashionista persona. As the match continued to progress, Francesco Akira would land a running meteora on Romo before he'd make the tag out to Amale. This would make Mariah May the legal competitor and both women would enter the ring.

These two women of course had quite the heated rivalry in the run up to this match. Meeting one another in the center of the ring it wouldn't be long before these two women begin firing off hard punches and forearms at one another. With the crowd in attendance solidly behind her, Mariah May began to take Amale down to the canvas with a series of arm drags before she'd catch Amale with a bicycle kick for a near fall. This run of form however would be intercepted when May charged a cornered Amale only to have the French Hope catch her and stun gun her across the top rope. This allowed Amale to take over the match and she'd hit a big sling shot suplex on Mariah May for a near fall before she'd make the tag out to Ludwig Kaiser. Returning into the ring Carlos Romo sought to prove something to the man who had dismissed him at every turn in the months running up to this contest. The smug Ludwig Kaiser very much looked to play into this as he'd use Romo's frustration against him in the early going to ground him and out wrestle him on the canvas.

Using some quick fire tags it seemed that the game plan of Kaiser and Akira was to keep Romo down or in their corner as they looked to isolate him from tagging out. Amale would also manage to stick in a cheap shot or two much to the frustration and annoyance of the crowd in attendance. Both Axiom and May were in their corner begging for a tag but try as they might, it seemed that Romo was constantly cut off when he'd come close. Looking to put his opponent away Ludwig Kaiser planted Romo with a Russian leg sweep before he attempted a Lotus lock. Romo however would be able to roll out and make his way to his feet. From here Romo attempted a jumping DDT on Kaiser only to be shoved off into the ropes where Akira hit Romo with a kick to the back of the head. This sent Romo stumbling forward into a powerslam by Ludwig. A quick tag to Akira followed and the brash Akira would begin to showboat before he attempted a crucifix powerbomb on Romo. This however allowed Romo to counter and land a sunset flip powerbomb on Akira! Following this Romo made a much needed tag to Axiom!

The crowd cheered as Axiom would spring into the ring with a big lariat on Akira! With Akira staggering to his feet Axiom followed up with a sky high spine buster for a count of two. Seeing their team mate in trouble, Ludwig Kaiser beckoned for Amale to get in the ring. As Amale looked to do so however Mariah May met her with a bicycle knee knocking her to the floor before springing over the top rope with a body press laying out both women. Kaiser would take advantage of this diversion to hit a running kick to the jaw of Axiom. From here Kaiser set up Axiom for a square hammer when Carlos Romo springs into the ring and lands a flying forearm on Kaiser. A big double dropkick from Axiom and Romo follows knocking Kaiser out of the ring. From here Axiom and Romo now fully on the same page connect with a double superkick on Akira. This puts Akira on the canvas while Carlos Romo dives over the top rope and out onto Ludwig Kaiser. A stunned Akira then starts to get to his knees where Axiom then meets him with the Golden Ratio before making the cover for the three.

Shepherd: And the winners of the match... Team White Wolf!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made. Standing in the ring Axiom is soon joined by both Carlos Romo and Mariah May. After the trio have their arm raised in the air, Carlos Romo hugs Axiom as the two finally seem back on the same page once and for all.
~ CONSEQUENCE ~

Following this the cameras take us to the hallway of the arena where Simon Miller is joined by Nathan Cruz and Katherine Darcy. This pre match interview would focus on Cruz's upcoming grudge match with Angelico. Calling Angelico the bad guy in this situation, Nathan Cruz openly states that he will not allow the world to continue to think he is at fault. Accusing Angelico of attempting to interfere with both his career and his relationship, Nathan Cruz makes it crystal clear that tonight he will be the one leaving the match victorious.
~ FURY ~

A pre taped interview is then played and it shows John Gooden sitting down with Michael Oku. Talking about his high stakes match with Adam Maxted at the Prelude. Michael Oku made it clear that despite everything he actually holds some respect for Adam Maxted and acknowledges that he is in for a tough contest tonight. However where his respect stops is when it comes to Aaron Chalmers. Saying that Aaron Chalmers is not someone who he respects as he sees someone using wrestling for his own ill gotten gains. This is why tonight Michael Oku says the reality show is over and that he will bring respect back to WWE UK.
MATCH #7: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: ARTEMIS ORTYGIE)

ANGELICO VS. NATHAN CRUZ W/KATHERINE DARCY

The next bout of the night would be a personal grudge match as Angelico would finally do battle with Nathan Cruz. Adding to the anticipation of this bout was Artemis Ortygie making the decision to send Katherine Darcy to the back before the match could officially begin. Citing the tension between both sides and her want for a fair contest, the officials orders would stand much to the delight of the crowd as Katherine Darcy stormed to the back. This bout would then get underway and we'd see some aggressive grappling exchanges in the early going between both men. This would be until Nathan Cruz managed to connect with a cheap shot on Angelico knocking him to the ground. From here much to the crowd's chagrin, it was all Cruz who not only delighted in leaving red marks on Angelico's chest and back with chops but also would torture Angelico with a series of arm holds as he sought to secure a submission win. A hammerlock DDT would follow by Cruz for a close near fall before Nathan stood over Angelico and began slapping him directly across the face.

This would prove costly for Cruz as Angelico managed to pop up and land a capoeira kick right to Cruz's jaw. The force of this kick hurt Cruz badly as he stumbled across the ring before falling through the ropes and out to the floor. From here Angelico followed by flipping over the top rope and out to the floor on top of Nathan Cruz to a loud pop from the crowd in attendance. Looking to continue to build his momentum Angelico tossed Cruz into the ring before climbing up onto the apron. Stalking Nathan as he got to his feet, Angelico looked to spring into the ring only to be tripped by Katherine Darcy. The crowd erupted into boos as Darcy having come through the crowd would crouch down by the apron to hide while Angelico on this stumble would be caught in the air with a leaping reverse STO by Cruz for a near fall. Showing a mixture of frustration and disbelief at Angelico's resilience, Cruz dragged Angelico to his feet and tossed Angelico shoulder first into the ring post. As Angelico stumbled back Cruz then attempted a back suplex but Angelico had the ability to flip out and land a bicycle knee to the jaw.

With Cruz reeling Angelico followed with an eat defeat to the jaw once more. Completely rocked by this Cruz was prone as Angelico followed by hoisting Cruz on his shoulders as he looked for the crucifix powerbomb. However Katherine Darcy would make her presence felt once more as she hopped up onto the apron in an attempt to distract Angelico. This allowed Nathan Cruz to hop down and hit the ropes before he run off in an attempt to blast Angelico. However the Spanish Heartthrob had the where with all to side step leading to Cruz knocking Darcy off of the apron to a cheer! A stunned Cruz backs up and he is met with a running basement dropkick to the knee by Angelico which puts him down on the mat. This allows Angelico to follow up by clamping on Cruceta Invertido. Trapped in the hold with nowhere to go, Nathan Cruz would be left with no choice but to tap as the crowd cheers.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Angelico!

With the crowd on their feet, Angelico rises to his feet in the ring. After having his arm raised, Angelico begins to dance around the ring while at ringside a frustrated Nathan Cruz shakes his head while clutching his leg.
~ SUCESSION ~

The cameras then direct us to the locker room area. Here "The Fashionista" Jinny is standing by as she begins to address both the House of Couture and Australia's Hottest Commodities ahead of their match tonight. Calling tonight and the showcase two key evenings for the House of Couture and Jinny's brand as a whole. She tells the collective that they cannot lose tonight. Saying that she will not accept failure as an option from anybody. Jinny makes it clear to Nina Samuels, Lana Austin, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta that defeat would bring great consequences to all of them should they fail.
MATCH #8: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: KATIE WALKER)

ZACK GIBSON VS. CARA NOIR

The next contest of the evening was the highly anticipated clash between Zack Gibson and Cara Noir. Unfortunately this match got off to an auspicious start as during Cara Noir's elaborate entrance he was attacked and blindsided by Zack Gibson who had taken refuge in the crowd. In this jumpstart Gibson had hit Cara with a helter skelter on the ringside area which caused Noir to writhe in pain on the mat while a smirking Gibson rolled in the ring. Referee Katie Walker would call to the back to get medics and officials to check on Cara Noir while in the ring Zack Gibson beckoned for a microphone. With the microphone in hand Gibson branded Noir as nothing more than a pathetic bird with a broken wing. This trash talk would seemingly spur on a hurt Cara Noir to push away medical treatment and instead slide into the ring. Here he would start firing off punches on Gibson as the referee called for the bell until Zack landed a big knee to the compromised midsection of Cara Noir. Sensing a weakness in Noir, the early stages of this contest Gibson would target the midsection of Noir and look to wear him down further.

The crowd in attendance remained rallied around Cara Noir who despite Gibson's best efforts would not surrender or give up. Continuing his line of onslaught Zack Gibson drilled Noir with a running knee to the midsection before he followed up with a fireman's carry gut buster for a near fall. Climbing to his feet a fired up Gibson then stomps away on the downed Noir repeatedly until the official steps in. Showing concern for Noir, Katie Walker would crouch down beside him to check if he can continue but again Noir would wave her off. Practically frothing at the mouth an angered Gibson paced in the corner. Pulling himself to his feet using the ring ropes, Cara Noir as he was up would see Gibson charging at him and in his first offensive move of the evening he'd clobber Zack with a forceful lariat which spun Gibson in the air before bring him down to the canvas with a thud. The crowd in attendance would rise to their feet as Noir took a knee in an effort to compose himself. Gibson meanwhile would now be the weakened one as he struggled to pull himself to his feet using the ropes.

With Gibson stunned Cara Noir looked to follow up with another clothesline but Gibson managed to duck under. Spinning Cara around, Gibson kicked him in the gut before he attempted another Helter Skelter on Noir. Cara Noir would block this however and try to lift Zack for a brainbuster. Gibson in turn fired back with some punches to Noir's midsection. This caused Noir to release his grasp and allowed Zack to shove Cara back into the turnbuckle. From here Gibson begins to start badmouthing the crowd in attendance but this would backfire as Noir charged out from the corner with a swan woo dropkick to the chest of Gibson. Stumbling to his feet Gibson was then hoisted up and driven into the canvas with a brainbuster by Noir. Cara then made the cover but to his and the audience's shock Gibson would barely raise his shoulder. Pulling himself to the ropes in an attempt to regain his composure, Gibson would swing wildly at Noir in what commentary called a last stand. This time Noir blocked it and countered with a superkick to the jaw. From here Noir locked in the Black Mass sleeper hold on Zack Gibson and it wouldn't take Gibson long to fade in the hold leading the referee to call for the bell.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Cara Noir!

The crowd cheers as Cara Noir releases the hold and rises to his feet. Once he is up on his feet Cara Noir has his arm raised by the referee before he looks around at the cheering audience. From here Noir slowly leaves the ring while the official checks on the downed Gibson.

MATCH #9: SINGLES MATCH
(REFEREE: OSCAR HARDING)

MICHAEL OKU W/AMIRA BLAIR VS. ADAM MAXTED

For the co-main event of the evening we'd see Aaron Chalmers join the commentary team while his ally Adam Maxted would take on Michael Oku. In the early goings of this contest we'd see Michael Oku manage to use his speed to stick and move as he looked to avoid the clutches of his more powerful opponent. This would have some effect in the early going as Michael Oku managed to land some strikes on Maxted until finally Maxted caught a kick of Oku and pulled him in for a clothesline. A big elbow drop then followed by Adam Maxted across the chest of Oku as the crowd boos. From here the smug Adam Maxted starts to perform push ups in the ring before he hops to his feet and starts posing in the ring. While Maxted begins to taunt the crowd, we see Amira at ringside trying to rally on Michael Oku as best she can. Dragging Oku to his feet, Adam Maxted would then toss Oku into the ropes before he'd attempt a powerslam on Michael Oku. Oku would counter with a small package for a count of two but as he rolled to his feet, Maxted uncorked a big boot to the jaw of Oku knocking him down to the canvas. From here Maxted followed with a basement clothesline before he'd drag Oku to his feet.

Adam then hits the ropes and attempts a clothesline on Oku who manages to duck a clothesline before landing a leaping kick to the side of Maxted's head. From here Oku attempted a tornado DDT but Maxted shoved him off before landing a shoulder tackle. Standing up from behind the commentary table Aaron Chalmers would clap his hands together as he applauded Maxted. However Oku would soon manage to launch a comeback on Maxted following a single knee face buster. This stuns Maxted and allows Oku to then follow up flying forearm to the face. With Maxted stunned Oku hit the ropes and this time as Maxted attempted a spinebuster Oku used the momentum against him to DDT Maxted into the canvas. Michael Oku then made a cover on Maxted only for Maxted to just barely kick out at a count of two. On commentary a concerned Aaron Chalmers would throw down his headset as he started to head near the ring. Oku would take note of this but this distraction allowed Maxted time to roll under the bottom rope. Climbing to his feet on the apron Maxted sprung into the ring for one of his big dropkicks but Oku was able to catch him and bring him down to the canvas in a single leg crab. The crowd cheers as the hold is locked in tight and Maxted has to submit!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Michael Oku!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Michael Oku rises to his feet. As Michael Oku gets his arm raised in the air he points his fere hand at Aaron Chalmers before waving him into the ring. As Chalmers backed away from the ringside area Michael Oku would be blindsided in the ring by Adam Maxted. The crowd boos as Maxted fires off multiple forearms across the back of Oku. Chalmers meanwhile starts to reach into his pocket for a pair of brass knuckles but while he does so, Amira enters the ring and low blows Maxted. While Maxted drops to a knee, Oku rolls to his feet and connects with a superkick to Maxted's jaw. This knocks Maxted down and sends him rolling out of the ring. Oku turns to Chalmers and waves for him to come in the ring again. Chalmers however has other ideas as he starts to back up the ramp. As he does however we see from the back Angelico, Suge D, Axiom, Carlos Romo, Asher Hale and JD Drake appear. Chalmers turns around to face them but this wall of wrestlers advance towards him causing Chalmers to step back down to the ramp. As the reality star tries to go over one of the rails he is stunned to see Aussie Open standing by waiting for him while across on the other side is Kassius Ohno. Shouting for help from Maxted, Chalmers looks horrified as Adam Maxted instead makes his exit through the crowd leaving him high and dry while Chalmers rolls into the ring for his match.

MICHAEL OKU VS. AARON CHALMERS

For his second straight match of the night Michael Oku would finally have his chance to get his hands on Aaron Chalmers. With the official confiscating his brass knuckles, Chalmers would be forced to wrestle this contest straight up. This bout would very much be a dominant showing in the early going for Oku who managed to out wrestle Aaron Chalmers with ease. This would be until Chalmers managed to rake Oku's eyes and from here he'd hit a big double leg takedown on Oku before landing some crushing ground and pound while the commentary team reminded everyone of Chalmers time in Bellator. Looking to finish things and add insult to injury Chalmers looked for a heel hook on Oku but this would be countered when Michael Oku kicked him off. As Chalmers rolled to his feet he'd be stunned with a superkick to the jaw. From here Michael Oku followed up with a leaping kick to the back of the head of Chalmers. While all the wrestlers surrounded the ring and pounded their hands on the mat, Michael Oku climbed the turnbuckle before he dove off with a frog splash across Chalmers' chest. Motioning for the end, Oku then clamped on the single leg crab and it wouldn't be long until Chalmers screamed in pain and started to tap out!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Michael Oku!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Michael Oku releases the hold. While Oku celebrates his win, he is joined in the ring by Amira. While the duo embrace in the ring at ringside all the superstars applaud the victorious Oku..
~ TAKE YOUR STAND ~

Following this next match, the cameras take us to the women's locker room where Raquel Lourenco makes her arrival. Making a beeline directly for Candy Floss, Katarina Leigh, Laura Di Matteo and Santana Garrett. Raquel Lourenco wishes this quartet the best of luck going into their main event tonight against the House of Couture and Australia's Hottest Commodities. Warning them that this collective will most definitely have some tricks up their sleeves. Raquel Lourenco follows up by saying that tonight and at the Showcase they have an opportunity to bring Jinny and her house crumbling down to the ground. As she then leaves the room, Lourenco closes out by once more wishing the women luck.
~ WHY ~

Right ahead of the main event of the evening, the cameras follow Hyan as she makes her exit from the building. As she does so she is met by Joanna Rose who looks to grab her for an interview. Hyan does not seem impressed with Rose or this attempt at an interview. Stating that for weeks she has tried to speak her mind and get a forum to share her thoughts with the world and that she has been brushed off constantly. Hyan says that now she has put the world on notice and they finally want to hear what she has to say about tonight. However just like she did, the world will now have to wait their time until she is good and ready to take notice!
MAIN EVENT: 8 WOMAN TAG TEAM ELIMINATION STREET FIGHT
(SENIOR OFFICIAL: THOMAS SCARBOROUGH)

AUSTRALIAS HOTTEST COMMODITIES (INDI HARTWELL AND PERSIA PIROTTA) AND HOUSE OF COUTURE (LANA AUSTIN AND NINA SAMUELS) VS. CANDY FLOSS, KATARINA LEIGH, LAURA DI MATTEO AND SANTANA GARRETT

It was then time for the main event of the evening and this would be an 8 woman elimination tag team street fight. From the very beginning this contest would break down into chaos as all 8 women paired off with one another and began battling back and forth both inside the ring and outside the ring. While in the ring we'd see Nina Samuels fight with Laura Di Matteo in one corner on the opposite side we'd see Katarina Leigh battling with Indi Hartwell. Near the announcers tables meanwhile would be Persia Pirotta and Candy Floss while near the bottom of the ramp was Santana Garrett and Lana Austin. As these fights would wage on the crowd in attendance of course would solidly be behind the quartet of Candy Floss, Katarina Leigh, Laura Di Matteo and Santana Garrett. During the early going things between both teams would be even until we'd see the House of Couture and Australia's Hottest Commodities begin to take some cheap shots in order to get ahead. This would include Persia Pirotta press slamming Candy Floss over the commentary table while in the ring Nina Samuels attacked the eyes of Laura Di Matteo allowing her to toss Laura into the ring post.

With Laura Di Matteo and Candy Floss incapacitated this allowed Persia Pirotta to return to the ring and help Indi Hartwell fight off Katarina Leigh while Nina Samuels joined Lana Austin on the floor to work over Santana Garrett. Katarina Leigh despite being outnumbered by Australia's Hottest Commodities would put up a good fight and even introduce the first weapon to the bout as she started teeing off on both women with a kendo stick. At ringside Santana Garrett would try a similar approach with a steel chair and managed to hit Nina Samuels to the midsection. Her attempt to hit Lana Austin however backfired as Lana ducked under and hit Santana with a forearm. This forearm stagged Santana and she fell to a knee while Nina Samuels wasted no time in curb stomping Garrett face first into the chair. With Santana out, Nina Samuels made the cover and quickly we'd see the first elimination of the match. Santana Garrett has been eliminated! The crowd boos as there was now a 4-3 advantage going to Jinny's stable as this bout resumed. Quickly however much to the delight of the crowd Laura Di Matteo would risk it all and dive from the top rope to the floor taking out both Lana and Nina with a crossbody block!

While this transpired a weakened Candy Floss joined the battle in the ring with a candy striped kendo stick and she'd begin clubbing Indi Hartwell while Katarina Leigh did the same to Persia Pirotta. This would be until Indi Hartwell managed to shove Candy Floss back into Katarina Leigh. With the two women clashing heads Indi Hartwell connected with a big boot to the jaw of Candy Floss while Persia Pirotta lands a spear on Katarina Leigh. This would earn Pirotta a near fall on the former general manager before she'd join in with Indi Hartwell to perform a clothesline and chop block combination on Candy Floss. At ringside we'd see Laura Di Matteo starting to make her way to her feet before she'd drive Nina Samuels into the ring apron. However Lana Austin would manage to hit her from behind before she attempted a DDT on the floor. Laura however would spin out before hitting Lana with a Russian Leg Sweep on the outside of the ring. From here Laura attempts a fujiwara armbar on the floor but as she clamps the hold on tight, Nina Samuels uses the ring steps to bash Laura in the side of the head. With Laura Di Matteo laid out, Nina Samuels would then make a cover for the three to eliminate her. Laura Di Matteo has been eliminated!

The crowd boos as the House of Couture enter the ring and rejoin with Australia's Commodities. Now armed with a four on two advantage it is clear this group are brimming with confidence when Katarina Leigh begins firing off several punches at the group. This would be until Indi Hartwell landed a boot to her chest sending Katarina falling out through the ropes and to the floor. With Katarina out of the ring, this left Candy Floss at a four on one disadvantage and we'd see quickly this group of women start to put the boots to her. This would be until they were blasted with a fire extinguisher by Katarina Leigh. With this blast sending Nina Samuels and Persia Pirotta stumbling back, Katarina followed up by using the fire extinguisher as a weapon to hit Indi Hartwell in the midsection. At the same time Candy Floss would crucifix Lana Austin for a pin in the center of the ring to a pop! Lana Austin has been eliminated! With it now 3 against two, we'd see Candy Floss even the odds some as she hit a split legged dropkick on Persia and Nina which sent Nina falling through the ropes. A second dropkick by Candy then followed on Persia sending her out of the ring. Hitting the ropes Candy Floss then landed a suicide dive out onto Persia while Katarina planted Indi Hartwell with a chokebreaker for the pin. Indi Hartwell has been eliminated!

The crowd cheers as the match is back to being even and Katarina stands tall in the ring. This would be until Nina Samuels returned to the ring and the pair traded punches with one another. As this went on in the ring we'd see Candy Floss on the outside of the ring land several forearms to Persia Pirotta backing her up against the guard rail. Launching herself at Persia, Candy Floss' attack however would be countered when Persia hoisted her in the air and dropped her across the guard rail. In the ring meanwhile Katarina Leigh started to get the better of Nina with punches and quickly landed a mafia kick to her to put her down on the canvas. Returning to the ring Persia Pirotta's attempt at a spear was met with a boot to the face by Katarina who then snatched a kendo stick and started to choke Persia with the stick. This was until Nina Samuels used the other kendo stick to bash Katarina across the back. From here Persia used her power to clamp Katarina in a tight bearhug and started to squeeze the life out of Katarina while Nina used the cane to hit Katarina across the back. Unable to break the hold and defend herself at the same time Katarina eventually began to fade in the hold until being rendered unconscious with the referee forced to call the action. Katarina Leigh has been eliminated!

Now back to being two on one, we'd see Nina Samuels tell Persia Pirotta to get Candy Floss. While Persia left the ring to grab the winded Candy Floss, we'd see Nina Samuels reach under the ring for a table. Pushing the table in the ring Nina Samuels began setting it up while Persia tossed Candy Floss into the ring. Rolling back into the ring Persia looked to Nina Samuels who ordered Persia to climb the ropes. This would start an argument between the pair as Pirotta made it clear that she doesn't take orders from Nina. This argument between the pair would begin to grow quite heated with Persia actually shoving Nina. Falling to the mat, Nina watched on as Candy Floss proceeded to roll up Persia Pirotta for the three. Persia Pirotta has been eliminated! The crowd would cheer as we was of course now down to two and Nina Samuels immediately pounced on Candy Floss with a series of punches. Despite Candy Floss' best attempts to fight her off, Nina Samuels soon firmly took over the match as she rocked Candy Floss with a knee to the jaw. From here Nina followed with an axe kick to the back of Candy Floss' head for a near fall before she'd rise to her feet and glance at the table.

Dragging Candy to her feet, Nina Samuels followed by dragging her to the turnbuckle before starting to lift Candy up onto the corner itself. Despite Candy Floss offering some resistance, Nina would position her up on the turnbuckle before she'd start to climb the ropes. Attempting a superplex on Candy Floss through the table, Nina was met with a few punches to the midsection by Candy Floss. This allowed Candy Floss to slam Nina's face into the turnbuckle before she'd drop down the turnbuckle. From here Candy Floss made the climb on the ropes behind Nina. With Nina still rattled, Candy Floss followed with a back suplex from the top rope through the table to a pop from the crowd. With both women down Candy Floss was the first to show some life and started to climb to her feet. Once Candy Floss was up we'd see a groggy Nina Samuels begin to take a knee, this allows Candy Floss to follow with a running meteora to Nina. With Nina Samuels down, Candy Floss then makes the cover for the win!

Shepherd: And the winners of the match.. Candy Floss, Katarina Leigh, Laura Di Matteo and Santana Garrett!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and an exhausted Candy Floss starts to take a knee. After having her arm raised in the air, Candy Floss is joined in the ring by her friend Xia Brookside and also her partners from the match. With the crowd cheering her own both Laura Di Matteo and Santana Garrett raise Candy Floss on their shoulders as the show comes to a close.

WWE UK POST PRELUDE NEWS
workhorsemen-jd-drake.gif
Following the WWE UK Prelude event. We can confirm a trio of departures have transpired from the WWE UK Brand. The most surprising of which is the duo known as the Work Horsemen. Asher Hale and JD Drake of course most recently opened the show at the Prelude in a tag team championship defeat to Aussie Open. It's confirmed that the Work Horsemen's time with the brand was always going to be a short one as the duo have agreed to WWE Performance Center coaching roles and also to work on NXT Television with some of the younger talents. The duo received a lot of praise for their attitudes and ring work during their time with WWE UK and for their story with Aussie Open. Which was said to cement the decision to offer them the coaching role for NXT. The other departure which is also not considered a surprise is that of Jessi Kamea. Similar to Aliyah and Vanessa Borne previously, Kamea was said to be a short term program while working with the coaches in the UK performance center to fledge out her new gimmick. Many are said to have been impressed with Kamea's growth and are excited to see what she can do on her return to NXT!
200.gif
As announced during the prelude broadcast two talents were officially making the move from the WWE UK Performance Center to the the main UK shows itself. They of course were unsurprisingly Harry Smith and Eliza Alexander both of whom had received prominent focus lately on live shows making this news quite expected. However we can now confirm that joining them in this wave of call ups will be Adam Maxted who was said to have impressed many with his efforts as of late and his showings against Michael Oku. Maxted is not the last call up however as we also saw indication of a Mercedez Blaze call up as she appeared in the crowd heckling Kanji following her match with Jessi Kamea.
zack-ryder-curt-hawkins.gif
Also as announced on the Prelude we can confirm that both Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins will soon be heading to WWE UK. In a similar facet to talents such as Mike Kanellis, Shelton Benjamin and EC3. This is a chance for talents who have been lost in the shuffle in the main roster to compete before a new audience against different talents. We know specifically in this case both moves were by personal request as especially in the case of Ryder he saw the opportunities provided to the likes of Kanellis among others and wanted to prove himself as part of the brand. It is not yet known if these two will be coming in as a tag team or as singles competitors for the brand. We do know though that more talents are apparently putting their names forward or at least discussing moves like this with talents such as the Revival, Riddick Moss, Mojo Rawley, Mia Yim, Mickie James and Cedric Alexander among others looking to ply their trade elsewhere.

Following the Prelude, a lot of focus of course is on our next show which will be the 9th UK Showcase. However some advertising has already gone out for Showcase Ten. Set to be held at the place which brought the dawn of WWE UK, the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool. We know that the plan is very much to make this show a Wrestlemania level event. This includes plans for big crossover matches such as the already confirmed Worlds Collide gauntlet match and also some very special guests who are tabbed to be appearing. The date for this show has been confirmed as December 19th!

The second bout of the night would be tag team action as Curt Hawkins made his WWE UK debut teaming with Nathan Cruz as he took on Gene Munny and Luke Jacobs. While this pair may not have had any prior experience as a tag team, this bout would very much act as a showcase for Curt Hawkins and Nathan Cruz as a tag team. To their credit Gene Munny and Luke Jacobs would have their moments but in the end it would be Hawkins and Cruz who picked up the win following a Snapshot DDT on Gene Munny.
DARK MATCH III: AMALE VS. ???

fmwQ5q.gif

The final pre show match saw an angle as Amale cut a promo tearing into Mariah May calling her loss at the prelude a fluke. Demanding an opponent for tonight's event as she said she was sick and tired of being overlooked. In what would be a huge surprise for the crowd in attendance this challenge was accepted by former WWE women's champion Mickie James. Met with a heroes reaction from the crowd, this bout very much was a showcase bout for Mickie despite Amale cutting her off on occasion. In the end it would be a Mick Kick from Mickie James which picked her up the victory!

MATCH ONE: EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(REFEREE: DARRYL SHARMA)

GUNTHER (C) W/NIGEL MCGUINNESS VS. ASHTON SMITH

Opening the show would be singles action and it would be for the WWE European Championship as Gunther defended the title against WWE UK Rumble winner Ashton Smith. With the animosity he held to Gunther for the retirement and injury of his friend and mentor Rampage Brown. We would see a very aggressive start to the bout from Ashton Smith who came charging out from his corner the second the bell would ring. As per the standard for Gunther's matches his associate Nigel McGuinness would join the commentary table as he'd proudly sing Gunther's praises as the greatest European Champion in WWE history. With his aggressive, fired up start Ashton Smith also showed some where with all as he managed to avoid Gunther's clubbing blows. After ducking a lariat attempt by Gunther, Smith hit the ropes and came running off with a single leg dropkick to the jaw.

This staggers Gunther and we see Ashton Smith follow with a leaping knee strike to the jaw. While Gunther falls back against the ropes, on commentary Nigel McGuinness can be heard showing some concern. This would be until Ashton went to the well one time too many and on running off the ropes again, he'd be met with a boot to the chest by Gunther. This would knock Ashton Smith down to the canvas. Dragging Ashton to his feet, Gunther would then follow with a big body slam before he'd land a seated senton across the chest of Smith for a cover and a count of two. The bout would very much be controlled by Gunther from this stage as he proceeded to punish Ashton not just with his usual variety of hard strikes and also some wear down submission holds as he contorted Ashton's body in various angles.

The crowd in attendance would be firmly behind Ashton Smith for this bout hoping to will him on into making a comeback. As the match wore on and Gunther continued to beat down Ashton Smith, we'd see Ashton by the means of pure will continue to try and get back to his feet. Looking to put Ashton away once and for all, Gunther readied his opponent for a powerbomb. To his surprise however Ashton Smith would be able to counter and lift Gunther off his feet before dropping him to the canvas with a back drop. The crowd in attendance explode in shock as it is rare to see Gunther taken off his feet. On commentary Nigel McGuinness throws his headset down as he rushes to ringside and pounds on the ring mat attempting to rally behind Gunther. The European Champion looks to be rattled as he rolls to the ropes and starts to pull himself to a knee.

Refusing to allow Gunther any time to recover Ashton Smith lands another running single leg dropkick this time to the side of Gunther's head. Gunther is stunned and remains on his knees allowing Ashton to drive his opponent into the canvas with a kneeling DDT. Smith then makes a cover on his rattled opponent but Gunther is able to kick out on a count of two. Seeking to end things and put his opponent out, Ashton Smith began to pull Gunther to his feet and set him up in position for a reverse DDT. However Gunther would power his way out before shoving Smith off into the ropes. Running from the ropes, Smith went to the well one time too many as he looked for another single leg dropkick. Side stepping the strike leading to Smith hitting the canvas, Gunther caught Smith on his way back up with a sliding basement lariat.

With Smith rocked, Gunther proceeded to mount him and punish Ashton with a series of elbows and punches to the head. This would very much put Smith on dream street and allow Gunther to basically drag Smith to his feet for a crushing ripcord lariat which spun Ashton in the air before crashing onto the canvas. On the outside of the ring a relieved Nigel McGuinness started applauding his client as Gunther proceeded to climb up to the top rope before he dove off with a splash across the chest of Ashton Smith. On landing the splash, Gunther would then make the cover for the count of three!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion... Gunther!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and the Ring General climbs to his feet in the ring. Gunther stands tall over his fallen opponent while Nigel McGuinness joins him in the ring. As Gunther raises both arms in the air, Nigel wraps the title around his waist while the official checks on the welfare of the downed Ashton Smith.

Camera footage from earlier in the night focuses on WWE UK Champion Spike Trivet making his arrival to the building. With Ridge Holland following closely behind him, Spike is surprised to see Anthony Ogogo standing at the entrance waiting for the duo with several security guards alongside him. Informing Spike Trivet that tonight is a match by his doing and his doing alone. Anthony Ogogo says that he will not have Spike Trivet further tarnish the brand with his usual variety of shenanigans. This is why security is here to ensure that Ridge Holland is not allowed in the building!
MATCH #2: HANDICAP STREET FIGHT
(REFEREE: CHRIS SHARPE)

FINN BALOR VS ALEXANDER WOLFE AND KILLIAN DAIN

The second bout of the night would very much get off to a hot start as Finn Balor decked out in his demonic guise went right on the offense before the bell had even rung. Fully decked out as the demon which the announce team further explained was almost like a state of mind for Finn Balor. This aggression would take the duo of Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe off guard as both men were forced to spill out of the ring only for Balor to connect with a suicide dive taking the bout out to the floor! Taking full advantage of the relaxed rules Finn then followed up with a running dropkick on Killian Dain sending Dain crashing against the barricade before hurling a chair into the face of Alexander Wolfe.

This early flurry however would soon be cut off as when Balor tossed Wolfe back into the ring, he was met with a running crossbody at ringside by Killian Dain. From this the bout resumed back in the ring with the duo of Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain looking to wear down Finn Balor with some double team moves. This would include Wolfe holding Balor in place over his knees following a back stabber which then allowed Dain to follow up with a running senton across the chest of Balor before they'd make a cover for a near fall. Showing some frustration at Balor's refusal to stay down this sadistic pairing would head out to the floor and we'd see them procure some weapons including a table, a pair of handcuffs and a Kendo Stick. Returning to the ring Killian Dain would begin to set up the table while Wolfe fired off punches on Finn Balor.

Snatching the handcuffs, Killian Dain looked to handcuff Finn Balor's arms behind his back while Alexander Wolfe took over the set up and positioning of the table. However before Dain can handcuff Balor's arms, Balor would spit a red mist directly into Dain's eyes. With Dain blinded and stumbling back, Finn Balor followed with a dropkick sending Dain towards the center of the ring. Unaware about what has happened Alexander Wolfe would put his hand on his partner's shoulder only for the blinded Dain to level him with a clothesline! The crowd in attendance would cheer while Finn Balor picked up the kendo stick before battering Killian Dain with it. With Dain against the ropes and compromised Balor followed up by handcuffing him to the middle rope. Now with Dain trapped Finn turned his attentions to the stunned Wolfe and landed a shotgun dropkick. With Wolfe stunned Finn proceeded to set him up on the table before climbing the turnbuckle and leaping off with a coup de grace to put Wolfe through the table before making the cover for the win!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Finn Balor!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made. Rising to his feet in the ring is Finn Balor who refuses to have his arm raised. While Finn Balor stands in the ring stoically, we see the official tending to a downed Alexander Wolfe. However just then the lights in the building begin to flicker on and off. On the titantron, there are flashes of a pair of black boots as someone seems to be walking into the arena. Abruptly the titantron shuts off and the same is said for the lights in the building when music begins to blare out.

To the shock of the crowd the theme song of Aleister Black begins to play. With his eyes directed firmly on the stage, Balor is unaware as the lights switch back on that a suited up Aleister Black is standing right behind him. Slowly Finn turns around but it is too late as when he does he is met with a knee strike to the jaw. This puts Finn Balor down on his hands and knees, as he does so Black begins to line up Balor who stumbles to his feet and Black follows up with a Black Mass to the jaw. Balor falls to the canvas in a heap and Black sits down crossed legged next to Balor completely emotionless.
~ SHAME ~

Gunther
and Nigel McGuinness are then shown as they look to make their exit from the building following Gunther's earlier victory. On his way through the hall however Gunther comes to a stop as he catches sight of the Foreign Legion stable in particular Ludwig Kaiser. Stepping forward and locking eyes with Gunther, Kasier's stare is met with a dismissive smirk by Gunther who simply calls it a shame before he and Nigel walk away.
~ THE VERY BEST ~

Ahead of the next contest footage of a pre-taped backstage interview as Simon Miller is joined by the WWE UK Tag Team Champions Aussie Open. After congratulating the tag team champions on their victory over the Work Horsemen at the Prelude. Simon follows by asking the pair what they see next for themselves. Speaking for the team Kyle Fletcher says that they have said several times over that they are the greatest tag team in wrestling today and it is not a case of them decreeing what is next but more a case of someone stepping up and giving them a challenge!
MATCH #3: SINGLES MATCH
(SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: TYLER BATE)

PETE DUNNE VS. TRENT SEVEN W/MILLIE MCKENZIE

The third bout of the night was a special guest referee bout. With Tyler Bate wearing the referee shirt for this match between former allies and stablemates. To no surprise for those aware of the history going into this bout, this match would be very aggressive right from the opening bell. Meeting one another directly in the center of the ring Pete Dunne and Trent Seven opened this bout with some trading of strikes. As European uppercuts are traded back and forth we'd quickly see that the audience were fully behind Pete Dunne and wanting to see him punish Trent Seven. It wouldn't take the crowd long to get their wish as Dunne landed a big forearm smash which put Trent Seven down on the canvas. From here Pete Dunne followed with several punches to the downed Seven until Trent escaped out of the ring.

Looking to continue his attack Pete Dunne rushed out of the ring in order to continue his onslaught. After stunning Seven with another forearm, Pete Dunne launched himself at Trent Seven only for Trent to manage to connect with a stun gun dropping Pete Dunne across the barricade. This would badly wind Pete Dunne while Tyler Bate in the ring started to administer the ring out count. Capitalizing further on Dunne being winded, Trent Seven landed several stomps to his midsection before landing an elbow drop. As Tyler Bate reaches a count of six Trent Seven can be heard shouting out for Bate to slow down. Despite looking conflicted Bate resumes his count leading to Seven rolling into the ring. Once more Seven can be heard telling Bate to slow the count down while at ringside Mille McKenzie lands a kick to Dunne's midsection for good measure.

Rolling back out of the ring Trent Seven looked to continue his attack as he tossed Dunne back into the ring. From here Seven reentered the bout and started to choke Dunne much to the crowd's boos. Stepping between the pair Tyler Bate attempts to talk Trent off of these dirty tactics but Seven continues to choke Dunne until Bate snatches Seven and pulls him off. This leads to Trent Seven confronting Tyler Bate as he can be heard barking at Tyler demanding to know who's side he is on exactly. As the argument between the pair escalates, Trent Seven shoves Tyler Bate who responds with a shove of his own knocking Trent to the floor. Looking to place peace maker Millie McKenzie rolls into the ring and it is her who starts to calm things down with the two until Trent takes advantage of this distraction and attempts a low blow on Pete Dunne.

Dunne manages to catch Seven's leg and shoves him back. This sends Seven into Millie and we see McKenzie fall through the ropes and to the floor. While Bate seems caught off guard by this Trent Seven pokes Dunne in the eye and follows finally with a low blow before hitting a DDT. Seven goes for a cover but much to his chagrin a fair count from Bate follows and Dunne kicks out at a count of two. Once more we see Seven and Bate continue to bicker back and forth as Seven reminds Bate who's side he is on. This distraction however would prove to be one too many as Seven turned around and looked to pull Dunne to his feet only to find Dunne had played possum and trapped him in a triangle choke. Seven's attempts to escape would prove fruitless and Dunne managed to roll Seven on his back for a mounted triangle before adding in a wrist lock! Trapped in the hold with no means of escape, Trent Seven is forced to submit! Tyler Bate in turn calls for the bell!

Shepherd: and the winner of the match.. Pete Dunne!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Pete Dunne releases the hold. Despite the win Dunne appears to be slightly on edge as he locks eyes with Tyler Bate as he climbs to his feet. Staring off with one another, it seems like Tyler Bate is prepared to fulfill his duties and raise Dunne's arm. Before he can do so however an angered Trent Seven climbs to his feet while clutching his arm. With one hand Seven blind sides Dunne with a chop block and is soon joined by Millie McKenzie in putting the boots to the downed Dunne. This would be until Tyler Bate stepped in. Looking to get control of the situation, Bate is surprised when Seven turns around in instinct and punches him. Taking a step back following this strike, Tyler Bate looks to the ground as Seven and McKenzie both seem shocked at what has transpired. In return a livid Tyler Bate fires off with a big cross of his own knocking Trent Seven on the canvas to cheers, while Millie McKenzie helps Trent Seven out of the ring. We see Pete Dunne using the ropes to pull himself up, Bate then follows with a punch to Dunne also knocking him out of the ring before Tyler storms out of the ring and to the back.
~ YOUR TURN ~

The cameras take us to the locker room area where Raquel Lourenco is in the middle of warming up. Shadow boxing with some kicks and knees included for good measure, Raquel is surprised by the arrival of Katarina Leigh to the locker room. Praising Raquel for getting this far, Katarina says that tonight is her final hurdle. Saying she speaks for the crowd and the women in the back, Katarina wishes her all the luck in the world before saying that she hopes by the end of the night, Jinny's reign will be over once and for all.
MATCH #4: WWE UK CHAMPIONSHIP
(REFEREE: ARTEMIS ORTYGIE)

SPIKE TRIVET (C) VS. TEGAN NOX

The bell rings to start the next bout of the night. This bout of course was for the WWE UK Championship and was the very first intergender singles match in WWE UK history. Unsurprisingly for this bout the crowd from the very start were unanimously behind Tegan Nox as opposed to the reigning champion Spike Trivet. In the very early portion of this contest it was made swiftly clear that Spike Trivet did not take Tegan Nox seriously. This would be established when Trivet easily threw her to the canvas with a wrestling takedown in the first few moments. With a smug smirk on his face Trivet loudly proclaims this is going to be too easy as Tegan Nox climbs to her feet. Valiantly Nox throws a punch at Trivet who blocks it and throws her down to the canvas with a fireman's carry slam. This time on climbing to his feet, in order to add extra insult Spike steps on Tegan's midsection and walks over her to jeers.

Rising to his feet the smug Trivet begins to taunt the crowd further and starts belittling Tegan Nox. This seems to light a fire in the former WWE UK women's champion as she rises to her feet. A series of forearms by Nox follow right to the jaw of Spike Trivet and this seems to rattle the champion. Trivet swings wildly at Tegan who instead manages to take Trivet off of his feet with an arm drag. Rolling to his feet Trivet seems flustered and another arm drag is quick to follow. This flustering turns to frustration for Spike who pounds the canvas but once he is up to his feet, Tegan Nox follows with a big dropkick which sends Spike tumbling through the middle rope and out to the floor. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as a rattled Spike Trivet stumbles to his feet only to be met with a suicide dive by Tegan!

With the crowd solidly behind her, Tegan Nox drags Trivet to his feet and rolls him into the ring. From here Tegan looks to get back into the ring but when she does Spike pushes referee Artemis Ortygie towards Nox. While Nox is able to stop Artemis and move her to the side this allows Spike to thumb Tegan to the eye for boos. From here Spike follows with a nasty chop block to the front of Tegan's surgically repaired knee causing her to fall in a heap. As Nox screams out in pain Spike then begins to stomp on Tegan's knee over and over again delighting in her pained screams. From here Spike would drag Nox to her feet before he'd follow with a snap suplex. Floating over onto Nox, Spike looked for a cover but much to his annoyance Nox was able to kick out at a count of two.

Following this an angered Spike looked to punish Nox further, this included a series of leg breakers and at one point trapping Nox in a stretch muffler. The valiant former champion would scream out in pain but refused to submit despite Spike's best efforts. Seeking to punish Nox, Spike tossed her out onto the ring apron and followed before he'd connect with a DDT on the ring apron itself much to the crowd's chagrin. With Nox hurt, Trivet shoved her back into the ring before he'd look to put Tegan Nox away. Lifting Nox up onto the ropes, Trivet joined her as he climbed onto the middle rope and looked to set Nox up for the Birthright (Cutter). Nox however would counter with a series of punches before she'd chokeslam Spike Trivet from the turnbuckles onto the mat. While Trivet hit the canvas with a thud, Tegan remained perched on the turnbuckles and waited for Spike.

Stumbling to his feet, Spike Trivet would then be met with a Molly Go Round. Nox then made a cover but much her and the crowd's disappointment this would see Spike kick out at a count of two. Slowly stumbling to her feet with her knee still damaged from earlier, Tegan Nox motioned for the Shining Wizard. As she did so, Ridge Holland would rush through the crowd and hop the barricade. At ringside Spike Trivet's muscle laid out a member of the security team before providing a distraction to both the official and Tegan Nox. This distraction allowed Spike Trivet to shove Nox into Artemis knocking both women down. Trivet would then order Ridge Holland to get him a table while Spike started putting the boots to the back of Tegan Nox. Holland would begin to reach for a table when...

The Guvnor Anthony Ogogo begins marching out from the back. A stunned Spike Trivet watched on as Ogogo made his way down the stage. Under the orders of Spike, Ridge Holland rushed up the ramp in an effort to intercept the Guvnor but Ogogo ducked Holland's grasp and landed a hook to Holland's midsection. The crowd in attendance would pop as a winded Holland doubled over and Ogogo followed up with a left hook and right uppercut both to the chin knocking Ridge Holland out on the ramp! With Holland down, Ogogo demanded security come out here and remove him from the building. Meanwhile in the ring Spike's shock and horror would soon be amplified as Nox taking advantage of referee Artemis Orytgie pulling herself up using the ropes for support, would land a quick low blow from behind to Trivet.

Spike Trivet would double over in pain and this allowed Tegan Nox to follow up with Canadian Destroyer. This has Spike Trivet stunned on his knees and allows Tegan Nox to follow up with a Shining Wizard. This puts Spike Trivet down on the canvas as the crowd roars! Trivet is motionless and a limping Tegan Nox follows by making a cover. Much to her and the crowd's horror Spike Trivet is able to put his foot on the bottom rope just before the count of three. Slowly climbing to her feet Tegan Nox shakes out her leg in an attempt to regain some feeling. Spike meanwhile tries to get to his feet and snatches a champagne bottle he brought down to the ring with him. Referee Artemis Ortygie snatches the bottle from him and in this time Spike again tries for an eye poke but Nox catches his hand. Tegan responds with a poke of her own and Trivet screams out in pain before Nox sets him up for another chokeslam. Spike however responds with a straight kick to Tegan's knee! Nox falls to the canvas and Trivet capitalizes by clamping on the Fox Trap (Regal Stretch). With the added pressure on her knee and unable to escape, Nox is forced to submit!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion... Spike Trivet!

The crowd erupts into boos as the announcement is made and the WWE UK Champion rises to his feet in the ring. After having his arm raised, the smug Trivet leaves the ring with his championship in hand. Meanwhile back in the ring with the official's support, Tegan Nox climbs to her feet. While treading gingerly, Tegan is met with a rousing response by the crowd in attendance as they shower her with applause following her spirited efforts.
~ DECREED ~

From here the cameras take us back from the ring and to the private locker room of the Throne faction. While the group all begin to prepare themselves for tonight's war games match, Maria Kanellis begins to address the camera. Calling tonight the true ascension for the throne. Maria says that tonight will see the Throne and her king Mike Kanellis dispose of and execute those treasonous peasants who have questioned his reign for far too long!
~ WELCOME ~

From here we are directed to the office of "The Guvnor" Anthony Ogogo. Here a smiling Ogogo is icing his hand when his office door opens and in walks both Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. After welcoming the pair to the WWE UK, Anthony reveals that in negotiations with the pair he knows that both men have a lot of history with one another but knows both men want to make their own path in the UK Brand. With that both Curt and Zack nod their heads in agreement before shaking hands as they wish one another the best in the WWE UK.
MATCH 5: WELCOME TO WONDERLAND MATCH
(REFEREE: TATE MAYFAIRS)

ISLA DAWN VS. XIA BROOKSIDE

The next bout of the night would be our cinematic match which would be held in Wonderland. Having been transported to this mysterious location which sees a large Red castle towering in the light of day. This auspicious figure is surrounded by a large hedge maze at the very front and it appears this Maze is the only way through. Walking through the maze with referee Tate Mayfairs following her is Xia Brookside. Despite not knowing her way through the maze, Xia is able to find her bearings as she walks through with Mayfairs following behind. As she continues to make her way through the maze, Xia Brookside finds a bunch of faceless guards all wearing either black or red costumes in line with suits and numbers of playing cards waiting for her. These silent guards would lead Isla and Tate into the castle through the large doors which almost seemed to open of their own accord.

As they walk through the entrance of the castle Xia Brookside and Tate stop short of a large dining table. Sat at the head of the table in a throne like chair is "The Red Queen" Isla Dawn. Isla is all smiles as she greets Xia Brookside for this Welcome to Wonderland clash. Flanked by numerous soldiers all of whom are decked out in uniforms reminiscent of playing cards. With the soldiers all still and motionless, a smug Isla Dawn takes a sip of tea before welcoming Xia Brookside to the great game of Wonderland! Calling Xia Brookside one of many women who has challenged her reign before. Isla Dawn says that she takes great pride in removing disruptors or better yet making them see her side and swearing their fealty to Wonderland and to it's Queen Isla Dawn. Sitting across from Isla Dawn, an unimpressed Xia Brookside says that she sees through Isla Dawn and her manipulative ways and will stop this once and for all.

Xia's words don't seem to sit well with Isla Dawn and with a snap of her fingers we see two of her guards try and attack Xia Brookside. Thinking quick on her feet, Xia Brookside tosses the tea in one of her attackers' eyes momentarily blinding them and allowing her to shatter the cup across the side of their head. the second attacker meanwhile is met with a forearm smash from Brookside who follows up with a code breaker on the floor of this room. The force of this move sends the knight tumbling over the table taking the cloth and cutlery with them. Rising to her feet, Xia runs off after Isla Dawn who is being accompanied by her Queen's guard down one of the corridors of the castle. The official Tate Mayfairs is in pursuit until Xia Brookside finds herself in a hall of mirrors maze like setting. Struggling to find her way and see what is real and what is not it is tough for Xia to navigate the corners of this labyrinth.

At the same time Xia is forced to contend with various flashes of Isla Dawn on the mirrors making it hard for Xia to pin point what is in front of her and what is behind her. This would then be added to by the emergence of several more members of Isla Dawn's Queen Guard who look to attack Xia Brookside. Brookside is able to fight back against these faceless subjects and slams one face first into one of the mirrors before landing a tornado DDT on another and in the spin she'd land a kick to the chest of another subject sending them tumbling down a narrow corridor of mirrors. As Xia rises to her feet however she again sees Isla Dawn in front of her and rushes forward only to hit a mirror. Turning round Xia is met with a big running Yakuza kick to the chest by Isla Dawn. This sends Xia crashing through the mirror behind her and into the darkness. Rolling across a wooden floor, Xia is unsure of her surroundings when towering over her is the queen Isla Dawn.

Seemingly having shrunken down onto one of Isla Dawn's very tables. Xia Brookside is at the queen's mercy as she begins to play cards down on the table. With every card Isla Dawn plays from the heart suit or Diamonds suit, a soldier dressed in the apparel of the number and suit that was played would appear. Also on the table top would be a confused Tate Mayfairs who could only survey the action while Xia Brookside was having to fight off an ever growing number of soldiers. Backing across the table as she throws punches, elbows and kicks towards the advancing soldiers. Xia stumbles back and finds herself standing on another deck of cards. In her trip and stumble she flips a card which is the jack of spades and quickly before her appears a soldier dressed as the jack of spades who surprisingly launches into attacking the hearts and diamonds. Realizing the card soldiers are loyal to who has turned them, Xia Brookside begins flipping cards herself to match Isla's army.

This would anger the queen and cause her to hastily throw cards down on the table. As she'd find her forces quickly being wiped out by Xia and her methods, a livid Isla Dawn would slam her fist down on the table before flipping the table entirely out of anger. This would send Xia flying in the air. After falling through the darkness for what felt like an eternity, Xia Brookside would find herself returned to the hedge maze where the eerie "Cheshire" Joseph Conners would be waiting for her. An untrustworthy figure if there was one. Conners would very much speak in riddles and about choices. All the while in a ring in the middle of the maze Isla Dawn would be standing along with Tate Mayfairs. Seemingly using her position and the presence of her "Knave" Jurn Simmons to intimidate Tate, Isla out of nowhere would demand that a count out be issued. Tate's count would begin to echo through the maze and the Cheshire would continue to try and seemingly get in the head of Brookside.

His words and attempts to trick Xia would prove fruitless as Brookside shoved him into the vines and bushes of the maze which almost appeared to come to life as they constricted around Conners. Following the sounds of Tate's voice as he counted, Brookside managed to reach the ring at a count of eight. Ducking under the arms of Jurn, Xia launched herself at Isla Dawn and landed a Thesz press before firing off punches to Isla. This would be until Simmons hooked her arms and this allowed an angered Isla Dawn to rise to her feet. The livid queen would berate Xia calling her a pathetic little girl naive enough to believe she could stand against a kingdom. Isla's trash talk however would give Xia a chance to kick her legs up and push off Isla sending both her and Jurn Simmons falling out of the ring. In falling out of the ring, Xia Brookside would fall directly down the rabbit hole!

As she pulled herself to her feet inside the rabbit hole, Xia found herself unable to climb her way back out and was soon disorientated by flashing lights and haunting visions. Soon standing before her would be "The White Rabbit" Jayde who offered Xia the chance to follow her. At the very same time "The March Hare" Aivil would be seen skulking in the shadows. Seemingly putting her trust in Jayde and following her through the rabbit hole. Xia would be forced at points to deal with the wild attacks and swings of Aivil. Managing to duck some of Aivil's attacks, Xia would fire back with some fast paced offense while rushing to catch up with Jayde who is providing the only light in the tunnel. Reaching the end of the tunnel and making her escape, Xia would find herself at the Mad Hatter's tea party.

With numerous members of Isla Dawn's queen guard coming, Xia would grab the first weapon she could find. This weapon would be a Croquet Mallet which Xia Brookside used to knock down several soldiers. Advancing her way back through the hedge maze towards the ring, Xia Brookside reaches the ringside area where Isla Dawn's confidence now seems a little shaken. Shown to be completely caught off guard, Isla Dawn backs up against the ropes while Xia Brookside uses the mallet to lay out Jurn Simmons. Rolling into the ring Xia Brookside swung the mallet at Isla Dawn who managed to duck under before kicking it from her grasp. Dawn would then clasp Xia by the throat and drive her into the canvas with an STO. Following this Isla looked to wrap things up with a half and half suplex but Xia spun out behind and connected with Broken Wings. Climbing the turnbuckle, Xia screams out off with her head as a stunned Isla pulls herself to her feet. With that Xia leaps off with a diving scissor kick across the back of the head. With Isla down, Xia would then make a cover. One...Two...Three!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match.. Xia Brookside!

Tate Mayfairs raises Xia Brookside's hand in the air. As he does so we see slowly the kingdom of Wonderland begins to crumble. With a bunch of purple waves appearing over the screen, the next thing we know we are in the UK performance center in a training ring. Here both Tate Mayfairs and Xia Brookside look around in complete and utter confusion. Seemingly unsure of if everything that just happened was real or some form of distortion. We see both looking round but there is zero sign of Isla Dawn or any of her subjects. As Xia stands tall in the ring relieved to have put everything behind her, the camera pans to the corner where a white rabbit mask has been left.
~ TURN THE PAIGE ~

MATCH #6: WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
(REFEREE: KATIE WALKER)

JINNY (C) VS. RAQUEL LOURENCO

The next bout of the night would be our WWE UK WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP match as Jinny put her title on the line against Raquel Lourenco. True to form the champion would resort to underhanded tactics this one right from the off as she tossed her title at Raquel who caught it. However this allowed Jinny to poke Raquel Lourenco in the eye during the pre match introductions. This allows Jinny to go right on the offense as the official rings the bell and we see Jinny aggressively attack and beat down Lourenco in the corner. Jinny manages to land some nasty corner stomps to Raquel as she puts her in a seated position in the corner. This allows Jinny to follow with a running face wash to the cornered Raquel before making a cover for a count of two. Showing some signs of frustration Jinny would bark orders at the referee before she'd slap Raquel across the face. Pulling Raquel to her feet, Jinny then positioned her in the turnbuckle for the Makeover.

After driving Raquel into the canvas, Jinny signaled that this would be it and she dragged Raquel to her feet before attempting the Stylish clash. Lourenco however managed to spin out of this and connected with a head kick right to the temple of Jinny. With Jinny stunned Lourenco followed with a spinning back elbow which put both women down on the canvas. As Jinny stumbles to her feet Raquel pulls her in and throws her down to the canvas with a high angle saito suplex. Seeing Jinny hurting and coming up short, The House of Couture would walk out onto the stage along with Eliza Alexander and Australia's Hottest Commodities. Appearing conflicted it wouldn't be long until we see Australia's Hottest Commodities and Eliza Alexander walk backstage. Both Lana Austin and Nina Samuels meanwhile remained on the stage and their presence would serve as a distraction to Raquel allowing Jinny to connect with a reverse DDT on the challenger.

Looking to put Raquel away, Jinny shouted for Nina and Lana to come and help her. But much to her shock both members of her stable remained at the top of the stage just watching on. Shaking her head in disgust and branding them worthless before saying she will do it on her own, Jinny dragged Raquel to her feet before she readied her for the Touch of Couture. However Raquel would have the where with all to side step the rolling liger kick. As Jinny rolled to her feet a superkick followed and spun Jinny around allowing Raquel to throw her down to the canvas with a german suplex. Rocked from this suplex, Jinny slowly started to stumble to her feet only to be trapped in the killer clutch in the center of the ring. Despite her attempts to throw some back elbows to the ribs of Raquel and even trying to rake at her eyes, soon Jinny would be left with no choice but to tap!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match and new champion... Raquel Lourenco!

The crowd explodes into cheers as the announcement is made. Releasing the hold, Raquel Lourenco takes a knee before she is presented with the WWE UK Women's Championship. Having risen to her feet Raquel appears taken back with the emotions of her big victory. Meanwhile both Nina Samuels and Lana Austin stand on the top of the ramp having seen their leader fall.
~ REFLECTIONS ~

Quickly the cameras direct us backstage as the cameras follow Simon Miller while he walks through the hallway with a purpose on his way to the arena parking lot. Here as he walks down into the parking garage, Simon Miller finally sees who he is searching for as he sees Aleister Black leaving the building closely followed by both Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain. Looking to find out why Aleister Black targeted Finn Balor, Simon Miller's questions are met with resounding silence before Black motions to Killian Dain. With that we see Dain shove Miller back before this trio enter a car and drive out of the venue.
~ REVENGE ~

Just before the main event of the evening can take place, the cameras direct us to the hallway of the arena. Here Session Moth Martina is standing by, unlike the usual boisterous and joyous presence we see from Martina, instead we have a more serious and angered figure. Saying that for the first time in a long time she has not had a drink in days, Martina says that her loss with Maria is not sitting with her at all. Proclaiming that she will take revenge on Maria, Martina also makes it clear that she has a score to settle with Hyan very soon!
MAIN EVENT: WAR GAMES MATCH
(SENIOR OFFICIAL: THOMAS SCARBOROUGH)

THE THRONE (BO DALLAS, CURTIS AXEL, MATT TAVEN, MIKE KANELLIS AND TONY NESE) VS. ADAM BROOKS, ILJA DRAGUNOV, JOE HENDRY AND THE WELSH DRAGONS (MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER)

The Throne Representative ~ Matt Taven
Team Hendry Representative ~ Morgan Webster

As we already knew going into the much anticipated main event of the night, this contest would be started out by Matt Taven and Morgan Webster. The opening of this contest would be a very much technical affair as both Matt Taven and Morgan Webster engaged in some early chain wrestling with one another. This showcase of the technical abilities wouldn't last too long however as Matt Taven connected with a knee to the mid section of Morgan Webster. The brash and arrogant Taven would soon follow up by throwing Morgan Webster face first into the steel cage to jeers from the crowd. The cocky Taven throughout this time on offense, would constantly deride Morgan Webster telling him he wasn't good enough and that he brought all of this on himself. Punishing Morgan with every word, Matt Taven followed by ramming Morgan Webster back first into the steel cage over and over again before he'd put Webster down with a swinging neck breaker.

At ringside we'd see Maria Kanellis watching all of this unfold as Matt Taven continued his attack. A slingshot by Taven soon followed propelling Morgan Webster face first into the War Games cage. This particular move would open a cut on Morgan Webster's face and it wouldn't take long before we'd see blood beginning to flow and trickle down the face of Webster. As Webster would begin to bleed, Maria at ringside would also start further berating Webster remarking that he brought this all on himself and like the others he could have kneeled before the Throne. Taking time to pose, the arrogance of Matt Taven allowed Morgan Webster to pull himself to his feet. Looking to take the offense back to Webster, Taven tossed Morgan towards the ropes only for Webster to spring off the ropes with a moonsault which put both men down on the canvas as the countdown clock would begin for the next participant.

The Throne representative ~ Anthony Nese

The crowd boos as rushing down to the ring is The Premier Athlete Anthony Nese. Nese rushes down to the ring as Maria begins to applaud him. Hitting the ring, Nese landed a quick running forearm to the back of Morgan Webster putting him back down on the canvas after Webster had gotten to his knees. Having knocked Webster down to the canvas, Nese quickly followed by helping Matt Taven up to his feet. Having regained his senses Matt Taven joins Tony Nese and the duo high five before they begin to put the boots to Morgan Webster in the ring. The crowd in attendance erupts into boos as the pair continue to work over Morgan Webster. Snatching him to his feet, Matt Taven holds Morgan's arms behind his back and this allows Nese to land a series of hard kicks to the midsection of Webster. Hitting the ropes Nese runs off and lands a brutal running knee strike to the midsection of Webster. This would knock Webster to the ground and with Taven directing traffic, Nese climbed the turnbuckle and followed with a 450 splash onto Webster. These two members of the Throne stand tall as the countdown begins once more.

Team Hendry Representative ~ Adam Brooks

The crowd cheers as Adam Brooks rushes to the ring in an effort to provide some much needed support to his team. After entering the ring Adam quickly manages to duck under a double clothesline attempt from the pair of Taven and Nese before hitting the ropes. From here Brooks would run off and land a dual split legged dropkick on both men. Stumbling to his feet Anthony Nese would then be met with a big leaping knee strike by Brooks which backed him up onto the ropes. Matt Taven would attempt to strike Brooks but Adam ducked once more before this time landing a hurricanrana on Taven. On the outside of the ring we'd see some concern from Maria as Brooks hit the ropes and ran across the ring before springing to the top rope, this allowed him to turn around in mid air and land a big springboard DDT onto the pair of Taven and Nese! From here Morgan Webster joins Brooks and the duo follow up by throwing Taven and then Nese face first into the steel cage as the countdown starts.

The Throne Representative ~ Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas is the next entrant to the match and before he gets to the ring Bo walks around the ringside area. With the help of Maria, Bo produces a trash can full of weapons and slides it under the ropes before he enters the ring. On entering the ring Bo Dallas is quickly met by both Brooks and Webster who fire off punches at him until it is Matt Taven who introduces weapons to the fray as he grabs a chair and hits Morgan across the back with it. This drops Morgan to his knees and we see Taven follow with a shot to the midsection. Arming himself with the trashcan, Nese positioned it on Morgan's head after putting Morgan in the corner. From here Nese would hit the ropes and run off with a running Nese to the cornered Morgan. At the same time we'd see Matt Taven start to choke Adam Brooks with a kendo stick while Bo Dallas lands several hard boots to the midsection. From here Taven followed up by hitting Brooks across the back with the kendo stick. After this Dallas would take the stick and prop it on one of the corners while wedging the back of the stick into the fence leaving the tip protruding. With this dangerous looking weapon set up in position Dallas waited on as the countdown began.

Team Hendry Representative ~ Ilja Dragunov

The crowd cheers as a fired up Ilja Dragunov rushes down to the ring. The Mad Dragon enters the ring full of fire as he meets Bo with Torpedo Moscow! Swinging the cane at Dragunov, Taven's shot misses and he turns into an exploder suplex from Ilja. From here Ilja quickly follows with another Torpedo Moscow this time on Tony Nese. Dragunov then lines Taven up for Torpedo Moscow. Taven sidesteps however and Dragon collides face first with the cane Dallas had set up in the corner. This splits Ilja open and he backs up into Taven who attempts a headlock driver. To Taven's shock however Dragunov is able to shove him into the cane and Taven hits it with force knocking the cane to the mat while he is also now bleeding. Seeing his own blood, a fired up Dragunov picks up the trash can and blasts Dallas over the head with it before he positions it over the head of Tony Nese. With Adam Brooks holding Nese in place, Dragunov leaps across the ring with a coast to coast dropkick on the can! The building explodes into cheers while at ringside a horrified Maria watches on.

The Throne Representative ~ Curtis Axel

Rushing down to the ring for the Throne is Curtis Axel and as he reaches the ringside area, Maria has produced another trash can full of weapons which Axel shoves into the ring. On top of this Axel pulls a table from under the apron and slides it into the ring also. Sliding into the ring Curtis Axel meets Ilja Dragunov with punches and the pair begin to trade back and forth while across the other side of the ring, Bo Dallas is able to back drop Morgan Webster into the steel cage wall. This allows Bo to try and hit Dragunov from behind only to be tackled by Adam Brooks. In this distraction however Curtis Axel manages to rake the eyes of Dragunov. After this Axel follows with a snap swinging neckbreaker on Dragunov over a steel chair. Dragunov writhes in pain on the canvas clutching his neck in agony while we see Axel then follow up hitting a perfect plex onto Adam Brooks dropping him down onto the steel chair. With Brooks and Dragunov down Axel begins to attempt to rally the troops as he helps Matt Taven to his feet. As a bloodied Taven slumps in the corner, Dallas and Axel then help a dazed Nese who is also now bleeding to his feet. The countdown clock then begins for the next entrant.

Team Hendry Representative ~ Mark Andrews

Running down to the ring with skateboard in hand. Mark Andrews swings it wildly on his entrance to the ring and manages to nail Bo Dallas in the midsection with it before he uses it for a dropkick right to the face of Axel. Joined by his Welsh Dragons tag partner Morgan Webster, the duo hit simultaneous dropkicks on Taven and Nese. As Webster rolls onto his hands and knees, Andrews runs onto his back and jumps off with a sunset flip across the chest of Nese. Together the duo of Andrews and Webster then begin to set up a table when we see Maria passing something through the cage to Matt Taven. This chain which we soon see Taven has been passed is wrapped around his boot and on climbing to his feet he attempts a superkick on Webster who ducks it. A dropsault follows by Andrews and this backs Taven up into the corner but the attempt to follow up is met with a kick to the balls by Taven on Andrews using the boot with his chain wrapped around it. Andrews falls to his knees while Morgan Webster begins firing off punches on Matt Taven until the countdown begins once more.

The Throne Representative ~ Mike Kanellis

The captain of the Throne is the next man to enter the match and on his arrival he wastes no time in blindsiding Morgan Webster. The King of the Ring follows with a Box Office Smash on Webster before he begins barking orders to the rest of his team. This includes seeing Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel hip tossing Adam Brooks against the stee cage wall. A plucky Ilja Dragunov attempts to fight back against the Throne only to be cut off with a superkick by Matt Taven. From here we see Kanellis and Taven follow up by putting the pressure in on Dragunov's neck. This includes hitting a vicious spike piledriver to put down the Mad Dragon. With Dragunov incapacitated we then see Kanellis continue to give the orders as Tony Nese hits a springboard moonsault onto the chest of Mark Andrews. From here the collective of the Throne would look up at the clock before they would begin taunting Joe Hendry knowing it would not be long until he was forced to enter this match with what looks to be a five on one advantage. As the clock began to tick we'd see Maria start to wave on Joe Hendry while the countdown officially began.

Team Hendry Representative ~ Joe Hendry

The final entrant in the match Joe Hendry walks down to the ring and despite the numbers being against him Joe looks confident. As he reaches the cage door and the camera pans back we see why, as with the Throne all being distracted Adam Brooks has not only pulled himself to his feet but he is scaling the cage. Climbing onto the roof of the cage, Brooks is met with a rousing reaction by the crowd while a stunned Maria catches sight of what is going on. Slowly the Throne turn around and Adam Brooks leaps off with a big crossbody block which takes out Nese, Dallas and Axel! During the course of this we see Hendry enter the ring and he is armed with a guitar! Matt Taven turns around and Hendry smashes the guitar over his head to a pop. This leaves just Joe Hendry and Mike Kanellis standing face to face. These two rivals begin trading punches back and forth in the center of the ring while Maria shouts for the rest of the Throne to get up. Slowly pulling themselves to their feet Bo Dallas and Curtis axel start to stumble towards the scene but they are met by Webster and Andrews who begin brawling with them.

Meanwhile despite his weakened state Adam Brooks is on a knee and begins trading punches with Tony Nese who is also on a knee. Somehow by pure will Ilja Dragunov also shows signs of life as he rises and starts attacking Matt Taven. The crowd is on their feet for this back and forth brawling with the team when all of a sudden Maria starts trying to climb the cage. With a small bottle in hand which she appears to intend to spray in someone's face, Maria's plan is cut short when Session Moth Martina rushes down to the ring and pulls her off the cage. After punching Maria, Martina sprays her in the eyes with her bottle which commentary claim is perfume before Martina lays out Maria by throwing her into the cage wall before throwing her back over the announcers table. Looking to get things back on track, Bo Dallas would attempt a spear on Webster who countered by side stepping sending Bo face first into the cage. Bo Dallas would then bounce back and Webster planted him with an Eton Rifle onto the trash can! With Dallas incapacitated, Curtis Axel looked to choke Mark Andrews when Ilja Dragunov took one for the team and launched himself at Axel with a forceful Torpedo Moscow!

Axel bounced off of the cage and collapsed onto the mat while Dragunov writhed on the canvas holding his neck. Looking to capitalize, Taven attempted a climax on Webster but was met with a knee strike by Andrews. At the same time Mike Kanellis woud try for a box office smash on Hendry only to be countered and hit with a Hendry Slam into the cage wall. From here Hendry raked Kanellis' face across the cage splitting the King of the Ring open. While this went on Adam Brooks stunned Nese with a chair to the midsection allowing Morgan Webster to hold Nese in place while Brooks sprung off the cage wall with a cutter on Nese driving him face first into the steel chair! With Nese down as well Matt Taven would find himself getting a dose of his own medicine as Morgan Webster blasted him with the chain leaving him prone on the table. Sensing this as his opportunity for revenge Mark Andrews would scale the cage and once up top he'd leap off with a shooting star press off of the cage and onto Taven putting both men through the table!

The Throne's forces would be dwindling when Mike Kanellis managed to low blow Joe Hendry and shove him over Adam Brooks. Climbing to his feet Kanellis followed by hitting Morgan Webster with a running forearm smash. Picking up the chain from the canvas, Mike started to wrap it around his hand when suddenly he'd see facing off with him is a chair wielding Adam Brooks. Brooks is soon joined by Mark Andrews who has picked up his skateboard. Looking to back up Mike then sees Morgan Webster pulling himself to his feet with the kendo stick while Ilja Dragunov starts to take a knee while propping himself up with a trashcan. A bloodied Kanellis backs up once more into the clutches of Joe Hendry who puts him down on the canvas with a Hendry Slam! Much to the delight of the crowd Hendry then clamps on the Hendry Lock on Kanellis right in the center of the ring! Bloodied and with no one left to save him, Mike Kanellis is forced to tap!

Shepherd: And the winners of the match... ADAM BROOKS, ILJA DRAGUNOV, JOE HENDRY, MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Joe Hendry releases the hold. Referee Thomas Scarborough is quick to navigate the debris and raise Hendry's arm in the air while the rest of his team look to recover and recuperate. While Ilja Dragunov remains on a knee, officials and medics head into the ring and begin checking on him and the fallen members of the Throne. Morgan Webster and a winded Adam Brooks meanwhile help Mark Andrews into the corner following his insane dive. Walking over to Ilja, Joe offers him a hand and helps Dragunov to his feet before the two men embrace following this victory. The camera then pans to a weakened and humiliated Mike Kanellis who is pulling himself out of the ring. Crawling around the ringside area, Mike is met by his groggy and tearful wife Maria and she helps her husband to his feet before he limps to the back. Meanwhile back in the ring Session Moth Martina joins Team Hendry in the ring with a six pack of beer and the team toast as the show comes to a close.

WWE UK POST SHOWCASE NEWS
tumblr_pvwdq8jvtF1qeiy6vo1_640.gif
In some surprising news today rumors indicate that "The Fashionista" Jinny maybe for at least a time be stepping away from the WWE UK and the ring in general. Having lost her title at the Showcase in fairly dominant fashion to Raquel Lourenco. It is believed that Jinny has been nursing numerous injuries and is stepping away from the ring in an effort to recover from these injuries. Despite her loss and seemingly her faction all walking away from her, Jinny is someone that WWE UK management are said to be very high on and someone that they are eager to work with when she is healthy enough to make a return!
sDgZWn.gif
One of the more surprising moments at the 9th UK showcase was the shock arrival of Aleister Black and his alignment with Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe. While it is now reported that Dain and Wolfe were originally planned to be used up to the showcase and then moved on. Thanks to their hard work we know that the duo will be kept on and aligned with the new arrival. Black is someone who is said to have avidly campaigned for the move having felt himself grow stagnated on the main roster. The belief is Black has very much pitched a shift in his character from the one that fans have seen on the main roster and in NXT which we will see take hold in WWE UK.
katie-lea-katie-lea-burchill.gif
In some exciting news we can confirm today that Katarina Leigh has officially signed a contract to become a member of the WWE UK roster. While Katarina was reportedly said to be hesitant to commit to a full time return to the ring, it is said that following negotiations Katarina Leigh has formally accepted what is for now a short term full time contract with the WWE UK brand as an in ring competitor. Management are said to be thrilled with the veteran's work so far and are eager to continue their work with Katarina Leigh.
tegan-nox.gif
Having earned rave reviews so far for her tenure as part of the WWE UK roster. It is no surprise that calls have been made to bring Tegan Nox up to the main roster. With both Raw and Smackdown seen as viable places for her, there is no word yet as to if and when this supposed call up would happen. But with the likes of Alba Fyre, Piper Niven, Dakota Kai and Toni Storm among others moving already to the main roster. It is being speculated that Nox may be kept around a little longer while work is done to reestablish this new era in the women's division.
MUBIWA.gif
Another departure has been confirmed to be taking place following the UK Showcase as we know that Isla Dawn has been scheduled to depart WWE UK and head across the pond to NXT. The red Queen is said to have earned a lot of credit for her character work in WWE UK and it is said that management felt the Wonderland storyline had reached it's conclusion with her defeat. With Isla Dawn's departure we also know that Jayde has finished up with WWE UK as well but she will not be heading to NXT, instead the young wrestler has requested her release as she looks to take a break from wrestling.
hpw-paige.gif
In a shock announcement a tease was issued that former WWE Women's Champion Paige would appear at Showcase X. Having appeared as part of the WWE UK women's Rumble. It is believed that Paige who had long been campaigning to make a return to the ring, having previously been forced to retire due to injuries. Despite management being hesitant to allow Paige a potential full time return. We know following much discussion about her future Paige will appear at the tenth UK Showcase in a yet to be confirmed fashion.

It is also reported that Showcase IX acted as a means to not just finish up the Wonderland storyline but also act as a finish and wrap up of the Throne storyline and faction. The heel group earned a lot of plaudits from management in particular for the work of Mike Kanellis which has seen him looked upon in a new light by management. His newest addition Matt Taven is also said to have made himself a lot of fans backstage in a short tenure and we now know that Mike Kanellis and Matt Taven along with Maria will be heading to Smackdown under the moniker of the Throne. In some surprising news however they will not be joined by the rest of their allies as we know that Tony Nese will be heading to NXT to add some fresh life to the Cruiserweight division while Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas will also be joining NXT to compete in it's tag team division.

WWE UK SPECIAL
British Bulldog Tag Team Classic ~ Round 1
BT SPORT STUDIO | London, England
Ring Announcer ~ John Gooden
Commentary Team ~ Jayde, Layla and So Cal Val
Last of our kind by Alter Bridge plays to open the first of two special WWE UK Events filmed from the BT Sports Studio. Filmed before the WWE UK Showcase, the opening would instead profile all of the women's teams competition in this tournament as well as the rise of the women's tag team division. Following a voice over by Paige who talks about the opportunity these women have to compete for the WWE Women's tag team championships at Showcase X. With that the video package would cut and the show would officially open from inside the BT Sports studio before a small but lively crowd. For this special edition on commentary would be the trio of Jayde, Layla and So Cal Val who would hype up the action before sending us to the ring for the opening match.
MATCH ONE: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Tate Mayfairs)

GISELE SHAW AND SHANNA VS. KATANA CHANCE AND KAYDEN CARTER

The opening contest of the night and the first match in the British Bulldog Tag Team Classic would see NXT's Katana Chance and Kayden Carter would take on Gisele Shaw and Shanna. This would be an energetic contest to start the night as the exciting pairing of Katana and Kayden ran all over the ring and performed various springboard and high flying moves. While Shanna to her credit would manage to keep up with the energetic duo, Shaw was not as willing to play the game as she aggressively tore into the pair. This would in fact lead to some arguing back and forth between Gisele and Shanna until finally we would see the pair begin shoving one another back and forth. With this friction only growing eventually we'd see a blind tag from Gisele Shaw backfire and lead to her being laid out with a double dropkick by the NXT team following this Chance and Carter landed a 450/neckbreaker combination on Gisele for the win while Shanna watched on from the apron.

Gooden: And the winners of the match Katana Chance and Kayden Carter!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Kayden Carter and Katana Chance celebrate their victory in the ring. Standing on the apron Shanna applauds the duo before walking backstage and high fiving several fans on the way.
MATCH TWO: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Oscar Harding)

CYBER SQUAD (STEVIE TURNER AND ZOE LUCAS) VS. RED DEVIL FIGHT CLUB (MASHA SLAMOVICH AND NATALIA MARKOVA)

For the second bout of the night fans would see the WWE UK debut of the highly touted Masha Slamovich as she was joined by the outspoken and vain Natalia Markova. Opposing them would be the self proclaimed tag team of the future Stevie Turner and Zoe Lucas. This bout unfortunately for Lucas and Turner was not about the future but instead about the now as they were very much dominated by the hard hitting offense of Masha Slamovich. While Slamovich did the bulk of the work on the apron we'd see Markova constantly showboating and pampering herself. After driving Stevie Turner into the ring apron with a dragon Suplex, Slamovich followed by driving Zoe Lucas into the mat with a Snow plow. From here she would tag out to Markova who on entering the ring picked up the scraps by covering Lucas for the win.

Gooden: And the winners of the match Masha Slamovich and Natalia Markova!

The crowd reaction is mixed as the announcement is made as while the crowd are impressed with Masha, it is Markova who has rubbed them the wrong way. While Markova taunts the crowd, Masha watches on stoically as the referee tends to Lucas.
MATCH THREE: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Chris Sharpe)

VXT (CHELSEA GREEN AND DEONNA PURAZZO) VS. THE IRON QUEENS (ALEX WINDSOR AND EMERSYN JANE)

Making her return to WWE UK for the first time in months would be Deonna Purazzo and she didn't come alone as she was joined by NXT standout Chelsea Green. Standing across from this pair of veterans would be a pair of veterans from the UK scene Alex Windsor and Emersyn Jane. This would be a very technical contest which very much was wrestled straight from both teams. A back and forth bout which saw both teams have their moments. Towards the end of the bout it seemed the Iron Queens had the match won when Alex Windsor trapped Chelsea Green in the ring in a crossface. Looking to take out Deonna, Emersyn would try for a suicide dive at ringside only for Deonna to side step and leave Jane to hit the barricade. This allowed Deonna to enter the ring and land a penalty kick to Windsor. From here Deonna and Green managed to put Windsor away following a back suplex and neck breaker combination.

Gooden: And the winners of the match Chelsea Green and Deonna Purazzo!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Deonna Purazzo and Chelsea Green stand tall in the ring. While this pair begin to celebrate their victory, we see at ringside the official begins to check on Emersyn Jane.
MATCH FOUR: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Katie Walker)

THE ICONIC DUO (BILLIE KAY AND PEYTON ROYCE) VS. ALEXXIS FALCON AND DANI LUNA

Another set of returns took place in the next bout of the night as the Iconic Duo returned to WWE UK for this tournament and battled a pair of rising up and comers Alexxis Falcon and Dani Luna. This bout would very much be controlled by the Iconics for most part as they isolated Alexxis Falcon and worked her over in their side of the ring. This would be until Falcon managed to make a hot tag to Dani Luna. The young upstart would hit the ring with a full head of steam and managed to hit some impressive suplexes on both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. This would be until a kick to the back of the head from Peyton Royce on the apron rattled Luna and sent her forward into Shades of Kay from Billie Kay for the win.

Goo
den: And the winners of the match The Iconic Duo!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and the Iconics begin hopping around in the ring before snatching one another in a hug. As Billie Kay and Peyton Royce celebrate their victory, we see at ringside Alexxis Falcon helping Dani Luna to her feet before they head backstage.
MATCH FIVE: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Artemis Ortygie)

SHOTZI BLACKHEART AND EMBER MOON VS. LIVERBIRDS (ANGEL HAYZE AND ELIZA ALEXANDER)

Match five of the night would see NXT standouts Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon take on Eliza Alexander and Angel Hayze. In a bout of two different stories we would see some fast paced action whenever the pair of Shotzi Blackheart and Angel Hayze were in the ring and this would be in stark contrast to when Ember Moon and Eliza Alexander were in the ring as this pair clobbered one another with hard strikes. As the bout waged on however it seemed that Eliza Alexander was growing steadily more frustrated with her teams lack of success. This would all come to a head when Eliza shockingly walked out on Angel leaving her in a two on one situation. Despite a valiant effort it wouldn't be long after that Moon put Angel away with an eclipse.

Gooden: And the winners of the match Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and in the ring we see both Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart have their arms raised before the duo embrace in celebration of their victory.
MATCH SIX: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Darryl Sharma)

WOKE QUEENS (DEBBIE KEITEL AND LYRA VALKYRIA) VS. ALEAH JAMES AND KANJI

Young prospects Aleah James and Kanji would be the next team in action and they'd be met with a rousing reaction from the crowd in attendance. Opposing them would be the polar opposite duo of Debbie Keitel and Lyra Valkyria. While in Debbie you had a very outspoken figure, you had a very stoic and focused Lyra Valkyria It would be noted as the match went on that Lyra did not seem to be as impressed or tolerant of Keitel and her antics. This was especially the case when Keitel through seemingly not being focused on the task at hand nearly came close to being put away by a crucifix driver by Aleah James. Tagging her way in the ring it was Lyra who very much was a difference maker for her team as she levelled James with a vicious yakuza kick while we'd see at ringside Keitel tossed Kanji into the guard rail. From here Lyra put away Aleah with a Samoan driver!

Shepherd: And the winners of the match the Woke Queens!

The crowd reaction is mixed as Lyra Valkyria climbs to her feet in the ring. After having her arm raised in the air, Lyra is joined by Debbie Keitel who makes the point of kicking Aleah out of the ring before joining in with the celebration.
MATCH SEVEN: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Chris Hatch)

THE HOUSE OF COUTURE (LANA AUSTIN AND NINA SAMUELS) VS. THE ROYAL ACES (CHARLIE MORGAN AND JETTA)

For the seventh bout of the night, tournament favorites The House of Couture would take on a veteran pairing the Royal Aces. This bout would very much act as a showcase of Lana and Nina as they dominated Charlie Morgan and Jetta. The aces to their credit wouldn't go down without a fight and Charlie Morgan even managed to pick up a near fall on Lana following a tornado DDT. In the end however this would be a definitive victory for the House as after taking out Charlie with a vicious high and low combination, Lana and Nina put away Jetta with a hostile makeover (gory bomb/diving cutter combination).

Shepherd: And the winner of the match The House of Couture!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and the House of Couture duo storm backstage without even celebrating their win. Meanwhile at ringside Charlie Morgan begins to check on Jetta and the two veterans are showered with applause from the crowd.
MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Thomas Scarborough)

MERCEDES MARTINEZ AND SANTANA GARRETT VS. MAFIA BELLA (GIULIA AND THEKLA)

The main event of the evening would be match of the night as veteran pairing Mercedes Martinez and Santana Garrett would team up to take on Mafia Bella. This left Mercedes and Giulia to battle it out until a high kick from Giulia followed a Northern Lights bomb for the three.
