If that was going to be the case, then let the ring be Benoit's house and call it Ring of Horror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, imo only one match that is a submission match would be more than enough for any PPV. Anymore will actually ruin the show imo.

^^^I hear ya... A submission match used to be a case of a challenge from competitor A to competitor B.

Nah, YOU say you don't read. -->

no. YOU said i didn't read your post in the raw thread. i never said i didn't read it.

I refered to your stating on several occasions that you had not read the thread you were replying to properly.

Rather self-serving memory you have there.

you referred to what? lol.

ill settle for: you said i dont read on an occasion(in which i actually read the post), i say i dont read whenever i say i dont read.

which actually means you had no right to quote my post saying "no, you say you dont read" but whatever.

Again, how many people on the roster have submissions as finishers?

I can think of Jericho, Cena & Haas off the top of my head.

HBK (Reverse figure-4) & HHH (Indian Death Lock) have submission holds.... Show's got that modified camel clutch(*) now.... Edge has been using the SharpShooter recently. Punk could resurrect the Anaconda Vice... Khali's head-squeeze... Prob a few more if I think about it.

Edit: How can I forget REGAL????

(*Note to some: This is not a 'Cobra Clutch' - That's what The Million Dollar Man called the 'million dollar dream'. Also see Sgt. Slaughter in the 80's.)

A submission occurs when one wrestler gives up. It does not necessarily need to come from a submission maneuver. In theory Cena could repeatedly punch Show in the face until he gives up, right?

They aren't as pigeon holed as you might think if they run with the notion.

Aye, Submission match or "I Quit" match...

Anyone care to differentiate? ;o]

Submission match involves either a verbal or physical tap out. "I quit" match is more specific about the verbal submission as people are supposed to say "I quit"

Remember wwe are just asking the wwe universe if we like to see it. It does not mean they will do it. they are just giving us people on forums something to talk about.

Incredible. A match type based purely on semantics.
