Dark Match:

* Brodus Clay beat Drew McIntyre

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Layla defeated AJ Lee with help from Daniel Bryan. Bryan came out chanting YES and AJ was distracted, allowing Layla to get the win. Bryan called out Vickie Guerrero and demands AJ be banned from ringside during his WWE Title match against CM Punk at Money in the Bank. Vickie announces AJ will be the guest referee for the match.

* Vickie announces Money in the Bank qualifying matches for tonight and next week. The first is up next.

* Damien Sandow defeated Zack Ryder to qualify for Money in the Bank.

* Tyson Kidd defeated Jack Swagger to qualify for Money in the Bank.

* Jack Swagger got on the mic but ended up getting laid out by Jerry Lawler to a big pop from the crowd. This was likely a dark segment.

* Santino Marella and Christian defeated Cody Rhodes and David Otunga to qualify for Money in the Bank.

* Otunga got on the mic and posed for the crowd after the match. Triple H came out and hit him with a Pedigree for another dark segment. Booker T also hit Otunga and did a Spin-a-rooni for a pop.

* Backstage segment with Bryan and AJ.

* Ryback beat two local wrestlers in a squash.

* Teddy Long announces Layla and The Great Khali vs. Aksana and Antonio Cesaro for Tuesday's live SmackDown. Teddy will be the General Manager for RAW and SmackDown.

* Tensai defeated Justin Gabriel to qualify for Money in the Bank.

* Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio in the main event to retain the World Heavyweight Title. Sheamus got the win after a Brogue Kick on Ziggler.

I am so happy that Sandow, Kidd, Christian are in the MITB. Not so much for Tensai & Santino there. It'd be interesting to see why Khali is facing Cesaro

Fuck the whole match outside Christian. This ain't even about elevating a mid carder or recycling a main eventer. They got a bunch of fucking low end jobbers and jokes. Hell if they were going to do that Ryback should have been added and Clay should have as well as they have a shitload more in ring credibility than Sandow who has to have a real match or squash that last as long as Clays and Rybacks, NXT mainstay Kidd who hasn't really worked main tapings, Comedy in Santino, and Tensai who hasn't done shit and been related to Superstars, can't talk, and isn't even as athletic as Show.

Fuck that match. Fuck Hayes. Fuck SmackDown. Fuck the 15 minutes of ppv time, 25 with entrances. Just fuck it.

They need to have Teddy reook that shit next week so Dolph, Del Rio, Cody, Swagger, Ryback, Sin Cara, Rey, and people with an ounce of credibility get in it,

You know something is wrong when Santino is the second most credible guy in the match

Why would you put Sandow in this match when we have barely seen what he can do in a normal match? Kidd and Christian will rip shit but overall that has got to be the saddest MITB match ever on paper. Only guy who has any business winning that match is Christian.

Mak you know it's a sad fucking day when I have to hope Christian not only puts on a show but wins the damn thing.

- Sandow has not even worked a match as long as Clay or Ryback yet
- Santino is a joke, who has already brought a belt down with him
- Kidd can work but he has never won a title and hasn't worked regularly on tv
- Tensai hasn't done anything or even been on Raw or SD regularly and has no character

They literally said fuck it.

Even if they didn't want Dolph, Rey, or Del Rio in the match and the tag belts defended

Slater, Ryback, Clay, Cody, Otunga, Hunico, and so on would all be more respectable than what they did

It's interesting due to the fact it's mainly mid-carders other than Christian who is solidified as a hot favorite to win this.

They aren't true mid careers though aside from Santino. That is how fucked up it is.

Yeah you're pretty much forced to root for Christian unless they add someone else to it lol. Considering I'm more than likely going to this I'm just praying Dolph gets added or something and just hoping for Kidd to use this as a chance to give a career defining performance and does some insane shit. Shocker of this is Sandow for me I just don't get why they felt the need to put him in this match after barely doing anything yet.

Cody Rhodes will be added and some others, but Rhodes will win it. Guarantee it.

If any heel gets added in to win it I would want it to be Dolph for sure. Cody is fine but Dolph is more fit to be champion right now to me.

Dolph needs to change his look to me. He still has that cheap ass Billy Gunn wannabe look to me. He can keep the hair color but he needs a Flair like cut to me. Dolph and Cody are still better options than this shit as is Cara. The ink acceptable reason for Cara to not be in it is to have an open match on ppv and have Rey come out to challenge him

How can you say it's not about elevating talent when it's a bunch of people on the lowest side of the card with a possible world title opportunity and a year to build them up? There's nothing saying the WWE would stick to such a plan though ala Daniel Bryan's cash in. I expect Rhodes and Ziggler to be announced next week and Barrett returning either the week of or the night of the payperview and winning the whole thing. I'm pretty sure Miz and Mysterio will be surprises for Raw's match to round it out at 6 competitors. Overall the show doesn't look to promise much. I hardly watch Smackdown as is so I don't feel I'm missing much.
