WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday on SyFy):
* Tables, ladders, and chairs are set up around ringside to promote the upcoming TLC pay-per-view. Lilian Garcia makes her return to ring announcing tonight. The announcers make their way to the ring, and when Booker T walks down the ramp, Cody Rhodes ambushes him from behind.


* Lilian begins to address the crowd on her new position as Smackdown ring announcer, but Rhodes interrupts and informs the crowd that he will be acting as the ring announcer for the evening.


* It is announced that the show will feature a series of Beat The Clock matches, in which different matches are held and the Superstar to win in the shortest time wins the challenge. Tonight, the winner will get to choose the stipulation for his match at TLC.


* Wade Barrett b. Ezekiel Jackson

* Beth Phoenix & Natalya b. AJ & Kaitlyn. After AJ tapped out again, Kaitlyn turned on AJ, aligning herself with the Divas of Doom.


* Daniel Bryan is interviewed by Josh Mathews about losing to Mark Henry and failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship last week. Bryan called out Michael Cole and went over to confront him, but Cody Rhodes stopped Bryan and assaulted him.


* Ted DiBiase b. Jinder Mahal

* The Big Show & Mark Henry meet face-to-face in the ring. They both talk trash to each other and hype their match at TLC. Henry insults Show by saying that he isn’t the monster he used to be. This makes Show mad enough to attack Henry. They brawl until Show gets a chair and assaults Henry with it.


* Sheamus b. David Otunga

* This week’s cryptic lookwithin2012 vignette aired.


* Zack Ryder b. Heath Slater

* Cody Rhodes b. Daniel Bryan by disqualification. Booker T caused the disqualification by getting into the ring and attacking Rhodes.


* Teddy Long and Aksana have another backstage segment. Cody Rhodes interrupts and demands a match against Booker T. Teddy makes Cody Rhodes vs. Booker T official at TLC, and adds that it will be for Cody’s Intercontinental Championship.


* Randy Orton b. Dolph Ziggler with 2 seconds remaining on the clock.


* It was announced that Randy Orton will face Wade Barrett at WWE TLC. Orton decided to make their match a Table match.

[The New F'n Show]

Orton-Barrett tables match is a decent idea. Would rather had Barrett win this though. And did Orton really have to get his loss to Ziggler back?

Seems really Rhodes heavy, which is ALWAYS good.

I'll have to check this one out.

 

[PHX]

WWE really letting their midcard shine lately which I'm really liking. Kaitlyn with Nattie and Beth is just weird though as she doesn't fit. Tamina is the perfect fit to be placed with them obviously and don't get why they didn't do that.

Kaitlyn was rumored for a heel turn, I guess it fits her better...

Be interesting... I'm surprised absolutely nothing is done with the Tag Division.

 

[Prodigy]

Rhodes filled show means I will be tuning in for sure! Actually looking forward to Rhodes vs Bookah at TLC.

 

[Crippler]

Kaitlyn, Nattie and Beth could be amazing.

 

[Defiant]

I guess Kaitlyn's looks fit really well next to Beth and Nattie and her personality always seemed more suited to a cocky heel sort of thing, but I still don't see how she fits in with them overall.

On the other hand, if the plan is to get her on the road for a number of months with Beth and Nattie it could definately help her in the ring and improve her skills a lot quicker. So I'll be interested to see how that plays out.

Otherwise, lots of Cody... Can't wait to see this show.

Kaitlyn, Nattie and Beth could be amazing.

What I was thinking. Beth and Nattie could easily train Kaitlyn to be a Pin Up Strong diva on-screen

Orton-Barrett tables match is a decent idea. Would rather had Barrett win this though. And did Orton really have to get his loss to Ziggler back?

Considering he seems to have been losing left, right and centre recently, I would say yes.

 

[Heisenberg]

Seems like a pretty good episode, SmackDown has been better than RAW lately imo. I will be watching once again.

It looks like Rhodes was used heavily in this episode which is good, I'm starting to get used to him week by week and I'm looking forward to Booker T vs Cody Rhodes at TLC but think it needs more of a build up then a short thing week in week out with Booker T also saying he has "nothing against him" and "hope we can settle this" that doesn't help it.

This Barrett vs Orton feud has been great with a very interesting storyline that's kept me entertained and hope to see it continue, most likely due to the fact I'm a Barrett mark and think he deserves the WHC soon. He has great in-ring ability and good charisma, one of the guys that can look strong in the same ring against a top star even though he isn't very big. Hopefully Wade goes over Randy Orton here, and all do respect to Orton lately putting over a lot of guys.

Guess it would make sense if they did the storyline of Beth and Nattie training Kaitlyn but not gonna give creative that much credit yet considering how half assed they've been with this angle anyways. Still think Tamina would be the perfect fit and has a good story as to why she should be teamed with them.

Really like how they are getting Barrett back into main event again.

Also hoping Cody wins teh MITB briefcase from Danielson at some point.

The Divas of Doom just expanded their team, hopefully AJ will end up becoming Divas champion. I thought Jackson would have defeated Barrett but I guess I was wrong, will definitely watch this.
