WWE will tape tonight's WWE SmackDown episode from the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas. Here are the full results.

* CM Punk opens SmackDown and we see how he and Curtis Axel beat The Prime Time Players on RAW. Punk talks about winning the WWE Title Money in the Bank match and brings up Brock Lesnar. Alberto Del Rio comes out and wants Punk off his show. Punk rips into Del Rio and the fans start chanting "USA." Teddy Long comes out and makes Punk vs. Del Rio for tonight's main event.

* Backstage segment with Punk and Paul Heyman. Heyman wonders if Punk can take Del Rio in the ring tonight. Heyman wants to be in Punk's corner for Money in the Bank but Punk won't let him.

* Damien Sandow comes out and cuts a heel promo. The Usos quickly beat Sandow and Cody Rhodes. After the match, The Shield appear on the big screen and promise to bring justice to The Usos at Money in the Bank.

* Alicia Fox beat Kaitlyn after AJ Lee came out and skipped around the ring to provide distraction.

* Another vignette for The Wyatt Family.

* Kaitlyn finds AJ backstage but AJ runs away. The Bella Twins appear and taunt her. Big E Langston is there and Kaitlyn gets made fun of some more.

* Randy Orton vs. Christian is up next.Good back and forth match with the fans into it. Orton gets the win with a RKO.

* Backstage segment with Teddy Long and Paul Heyman. Heyman will be on commentary for tonight's main event.

* Dolph Ziggler comes out and cuts a promo before quickly defeating Drew McIntyre. 3MB tried to attack Ziggler after the match but he escaped them.

* Fandango defeated Justin Gabriel in another quick match.

Colter, Antonio Cesaro, and Jack Swagger cut a promo about the Fourth of July.

* Main event time - Heyman is on commentary. Del Rio vs. Punk is non-title.

* World Hvt. champion Alberto Del Rio vs. C.M. Punk went to a No Contest via double count-out in 18:00. Del Rio attacked Punk's shoulder throughout, looking to soften up Punk for the cross arm-breaker. Punk had a small comeback broken up by a backbreaker. Punk rolled out of the ring, then got thrown into the barricade and over the announce table. Del Rio then attacked Heyman at commentary. Punk then used the commentary table to launch himself onto Del Rio and into the barricade, resulting in the bell sounding. Lilian Garcia announced a double count-out for a No Contest.

* After the announcement, Punk threw Del Rio back into the ring and hit the GTS. Apparently this is the end of Smackdown.

* After the dust settled, Del Rio got up and cut a heel promo about how he is the champion. Ziggler then came out and cleared him from the ring. Ziggler celebrated, then went ringside to high-five the fans.

Nice to see Punk on SD and facing Del Rio, match sounded pretty good.

Orton/Christian is a must-watch for me.

Other than that, average Smackdown with two good matches.

The chemistry that Orton and Christian have is undeniable. Hopefully they get 12-15 minutes to continue off their matches from 2 years ago.

Not really a fan of Del Rio/Punk again, but I'm sure the match will be good.

Other than that, looks like a skipable Smackdown

According to someone who was there, Christian had a 15 minute match with Orton. He also had a 20 minute match on MAIN EVENT!

Heyman on commentary makes this worth watching, Hoping him and JBL make Cole stay off the headset for the majority......one could hope.

Decent set list of matches too.

So on RAW the World champion faces the WWE champion and loses. Now on Smackdown he faces a guy that is part of the upcoming MITB match and can't get the win and then gets laid out with a GTS. WWE really don't know how to book a strong heel champion do they but they do know how to make the World title look inferior. /rant In saying that if they are given 18 minutes it should be a good match. Very happy to read that Heyman is on commentary for the mainevent.

Christian vs. Orton have had so many good matches together in the past so I have high hopes for this one.

I get that you want the number one contenders to win before a PPV but surely you also makes Team Rhodes Scholars look competitive rather than using them as the easybeats.

Has anyone been able to figure out what is going on with 3MB. They get to face Ziggler here and faced Jericho the other week on RAW, getting some high profile matches without it seemingly leading anywhere.

They need to come up with something more for AJ than just skipping around the ring and distrecting people especially now that she is champion.

Christian/Orton and Punk/Del Rio should make it worth seeing, but not a great show overall.

Wasn't Kane vs. Orton announced on RAW? With Bryan being the special guest referee? Or I'm just crazy.
EDIT: Shows how much I payed attention to RAW, it already happened haha.

Orton/Christian was decent at best. They had some really sloppy counter into a pin that killed the flow at one point. I mean the original set up for the move was nice and then it just went downhill. Besides that it was a pretty normal match and neither men really tried to pull anything different out which I think would have made sense with all their previous work with each other.
