Smackdown spoilers for 5/20:

*Christian beat Sheamus by DQ when Mark Henry interfered. Randy Orton made the save.

*Ted DiBiase, back with Cody Rhodes, pinned Trent Baretta.

*WWE Tag Team champions Kane & Big Show & Ezekiel Jackson beat The Corre.

*One of the Bellas defeated Natalya.

*Daniel Bryan defeated Chavo Guerrero. Sin Cara showed up and interfered.
*Randy Orton beat Mark Henry by DQ when Sheamus interfered. Christian made the save.

So the opening match and the mainevent are basically the same, the only difference is the two faces and the two heels switch places. Repetitive and I would say lazy booking.

??Ted DiBiase is now with Cody Rhodes. I thought that Cody beat him last week on Smackdown. Why not try Ted as a face rather than continuing with something that hasn't worked well the past 12-18 months?

Tag team match should be alright, good seeing Ezekiel Jackson in a different role.

Sin Cara is a face but he interefered in the match? Unless it was to stop Chavo doing heelish things that doesn't sound like what a face does.

Odd show and I hope it comes off better on tv than it does on paper.

Your thoughts on the show?

Seems like it was thrown together at the last minute. None of it makes logical sense, then again it is WWE...

Hey Ted DiBiase picked up a victory, thats the best news hes had for a long time. The only thing I dont like about it is that I think Cody could very well be going after the championship, so it kind of brings him back down a level. If only they didnt have Mark Henry in the main event I would be happy.

Sounds like a bad week in WWE; nothing has gone good.

Sin Cara vs. Chavo at OTL I wouldn't mind but WWE is going down the shitter at the moment, OTL seems way too predictable.

I thought that last week's Smackdown was good since it continued so many storylines. This one does seem thrown together and not as clear.

I don't want Rhodes to be brought down by DiBiase although I am happy that DiBiase was given a win on Smackdown. I see Rhodes as the number 3/4 heel on the show but he needs a strong follow up feud to his one with Mysterio.

Sin Cara vs. Chavo might be added to OTL but I have a feeling they will wait another month before putting it on PPV just because the feud only just started two weeks ago and they have yet to wrestle or cut any promos about each other. Although Sin Cara can't speak much english so that probably isn't an option for him.

I still think Smackdown has heaps of really good potential storylines coming up, but it really depends on whether they bite the bullet on a few different things and give blokes a chance. Here are just a few ideas by me, duno what other people think but I think they could be entertaining.

A- Corre v Big Show and Kane needs to stop! Hopefully after the PPV its over and next week on Smackdown, The New Nexus have the belts and we can finally have the Corre v the new Nexus feud, as they will be able to be on both brands. Plenty of matches can be made there, and perhaps a Skip Sheffield return somewhere down the line to even up the numbers..

B-Zeke wins the IC belt which allows the above feud. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase need to take him out and start this feud.

C-I think Orton, Christian will end up in some sort of disqualification due to Sheamus and Mark Henry, possibly leading to a fatal four way at the next pay per view which would be watchable.

Unless talent is utilized and there is some sort of progression potential is pretty useless.

I didn't get why ShowKane continued to feud with The Corre on Smackdown when they started the new feud with Nexus. I assumed that they would just have the one feud not both at once. New Nexus vs Slater & Gabriel would be a good first feud for them but that feud should have happened months ago. Ezekiel is now out of The Corre and I can see Barrett splitting from the tag team as well to move on as just a singles wrestler out on his own.

If Zeke doesn't win the title at Over the Limit then I see him winning it at Capitol Punishment. Zeke vs. Barrett will continue for a bit longer and then Zeke vs Rhodes would be a good feud. I am still unsure about whether or not Rhodes and DiBiase are back as a team or what.

I like this idea and it seems like it will happen.

Did anyone the celebration Orton did after that RKO? It was the most strangest thing I ever saw and it's something you shouldn't see from a guy who is supposed to play an intimidating psycho predator. If Orton goes back to his old days then SD is watchable. But right now, this show is in big trouble.

I wouldn't say the show is in big trouble. They have some good feuds there they just need to sort out the mainevent (which I think they will do at Capitol Punishment where I see them booking a Fatal 4 way match for the title) they also need to determine who the uppermidcarders are outside the four currently in the mainevent scene.
