Smackdown kicks off with Booker T entering the ring for his big announcement. Sheamus, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, The Great Khali, Kane and Daniel Bryan are in the ring for the announcement. Alberto Del Rio is shown outside with a bat waiting for The Big Show. Booker says that they all deserve a second chance to become champion and starts to announce that they will compete in the Elimination Chamber, but gets interrupted by Jack Swagger. Swagger says that he wants in the Chamber match, even though there are only 6 spots. Ziggler says he already has a guaranteed shot with the Money In The Bank briefcase, and that he isn't competing in the Chamber. Booker T said that Ziggler can chicken out of the Chamber match, but he can't chicken out of his match with Alberto Del Rio tonight. As for the others, they have to impress Booker and Teddy Long to gain a spot in the Chamber for a World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania.

* Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs. WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No is our first match of the night. Kane and Rey start. Rey gets some offense in early on and tags in Sin Cara, who gets dominated by Kane. Daniel Bryan is tagged in and Cara gains the advantage. Fast paced match with the crowd behind Rey and Sin Cara. Late in the nmatch, Kane is working over Sin Cara and tagged in Bryan, while Cara made the hot tag to Rey. Rey got in some offense on Bryan and set him up for a 619, but Kane tried to block it with a chokeslam. Rey kicked Kane out of the ring, and Bryan locked in the No Lock. Sin Cara broke it up, Rey hit the 619 on Bryan and gets the win. Team Hell No argued after the match. Said to be a great match.

A video recap of Alberto Del Rio and Big Show from The Royal Rumble and RAW is shown.

Matt Striker attempts to interview Del Rio outside, who is still waiting with a bat. Del Rio said that he was getting fresh air and told Striker to leave him alone.

A recap of the 3MB - Great Khali segment from RAW is shown.

* Jinder Mahal (with Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater) vs. The Great Khali (with Natalya and Hornswoggle) is next. 3MB tried to interfere, but Hornswoggle blocked that. Khali destroyed Mahal in a short match.

Backstage segment with Booker T and Teddy Long discussing Jack Swagger's return, and Teddy Long revealed that it was his idea. Team Rhodes Scholars interrupted and quoted something, and then hugged for a long time. Booker makes Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow for later tonight, and then said, "you're welcome."

A recap of the Vince McMahon - Paul Heyman segment from RAW was shown, which was the same package shown on Main Event. A WWE exclusive video showing Vince being stretchered out of the arena with Stephanie beside him is also shown.

Del Rio is shown out back still waiting.

A recap of John Cena winning the Rumble, deciding on which title to go after and then getting attacked by The Shield is shown.

* Damien Sandow vs. Sheamus. It looks like the Shield might interrupt this match as extra security was just set up near the side they usually come through, plus some camera men headed that way. Sandow took the early advantage. Sheamus fought back and started to dominate when the Shield entered and attacked Sheamus. Rollins is in first, but gets laid out by Sheamus. Rollins sold well. Sheamus fights off Ambrose and Reigns until Ambrose tripped him and Reigns beat him down. The Shield then beat him down and then planted him with the triple power bomb. The Shield then left through the crowd.

A recap is shown of Wade Barrett losing to Bo Dallas on RAW.

* Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton. Barrett dominated early. He sat Orton on the middle rope and kicked him off it to the outside. Cool move. Outside of the ring, Barrett missed a forearm into a pole. Orton put him in the ring and hit an RKO for the victory.

Backstage Wade Barrett is being interviewed about losing to Bo Dallas, but says nothing. Barrett sees Dallas and attacks him. Dallas fights back, but Barrett throws him into gear.

* Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger. Swagger dominated Kofi early on using wrestling moves. Kofi kept trying to find back, but Swagger kept putting him back down. Kofi finally is able to knock Swagger down and hits the Boom Drop. Swagger fights back, but Kofi sends him out of the ring. They fight outside with Kofi missing a kick and accidentally kicking the announce table. Swagger then rolled Kofi in the ring and defeated him via submission with the ankle lock. Swagger looked good, it looks like he'll be getting pushed.

Back outside, and Del Rio hides as The Big Show's bus pulls in. Big Show gets out and Del Rio attacks him. Show tries to get away and attempts to climb on top of a car. Del Rio breaks the window and they fight on top of the car. The play a game of chase around the car before Show gets in another car and drives off.

A recap of The Rock - CM Punk segment from RAW is shown.

Backstage Del Rio is getting ready for his match and tells Ricardo Rodriguez to stay backstage.

* Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler. This was said to be really good. The crowd was hot for Ziggler early on. Early in the match, Del Rio was on the top rope but AJ Lee distracted the referee and Big E pushed Del Rio to the mat. The referee then ejected AJ and Big E, but the distraction put Ziggler in control of the match. Ziggler kept control for awhile until Del Rio managed to catch him on the top rope and superplexed him. The crowd is behind Del Rio, who plants a side kick to Ziggler's face. Ziggler kicked out and countered Del Rio's arm lock and hit a famasser, but Del Rio kicked out. Del Rio hit a backbreaker, but Ziggler kicked out. Del Rio jumped off the top rope, but Ziggler caught him in the air with a drop kick. The crowd started chanting, "this is awesome!" Del Rio eventually locked in the arm bar to get the win.

As Del Rio celebrated, Big Show is shown backstage holding Ricardo by the neck and then delivered the KO punch. Del Rio rushed backstage and Ricardo is knocked out. The show ended at this point.

Post-Show

Big Show comes out to the ring in street clothes and talks trash and insults the crowd. Del Rio tries to make it to the ring, and fights trainers to come out to the ramp. Del Rio eventually breaks through and runs in, but Show spears him. Show then grabbed a chair. Del Rio managed to get the chair and nail Big Show with it about 10 times. Show then rolled out of the ring and ran away. Del Rio celebrated in the ring to a huge pop.

Looks like a very strong episode of Smackdown, will be watching. Super-glad Swagger's back and already got a legitimate win!

This actually looks like a good show on paper which is rare for Smackdown for a while now.

Not what I expected at first with the Chamber match. I thought that Sheamus and Orton would be in the other Chamber match against The Shield and I expected Del Rio and Show to be in there as well. It does seem like it is up in the air at the moment and could change a bit which would be good, definitely don't want to see Khali in there.

Opening match sounds great, wonder what direction they will go with the tag team titles now heading towards WM. Not that keen on Orton beating Barrett clean again right before the Intercontinental Cup starts. Good seeing the Dallas/Barrett storyline continuing. No big name apperance on the show but it still looks good.

Looks like a very promising show. The start of the Swagger push seems like a good idea and if he is in the Elimination Chamber and gets a decent run in it then that can only help.

Team No Hell VS. Rey and Cara and Ziggler VS. Del Rio look like great matches too.

Too many recap videos and non-title matches would be my complaint.

I read a rumour somewhere about Swagger returning as a face and going up against Cesaro for the US title, being the All-American, American that he is. Seems odd considering The Miz/Cesaro feud. Perhaps it'll happen further down the line with Miz moving on to the IC scene.

Anyway sounds like a pretty decent Smackdown again. It's actually been pretty watchable since the turn of the year. Long may it continue.

Hopefully Great Khali will be replaced with Ryback o_O.

Don't care for the show, but certainly would want to see Ryback in this Chamber and winning it and Big Show wins the WHC again and then Ryback/Show for the title is the best option tbh.

Looks to be a very strong show , maybe a little heavy on the recaps as Keith said but that's to be expected coming out of a PPV..... Glad to see Swagger back, hopefully he is used better this time around. Dude can really go in the ring and should be able to hang around the upper mid-card... My guess is we'll be getting SinSterio vs. Hell No at EC (with Rey and Cara winning the belts) and then maybe SinSterio vs Rhodes Scholars and Kane vs. Bryan at WM

How does Hornswoggle stop two grown men from interfering in the match? I understand that 3MB are essentially meant to be used in this fashion but NO ONE and I mean NO ONE should have to put that freaking leprechaun over even a little. No one!

That aside, I give them kudos for having Dolph opt out because of already having a guaranteed title shot, there have been times where that sort of thing isn't taken into consideration. I don't expect that to be the final Chamber line-up as they've been known to do some switching around in the past, so no worries there.

Reading Big Show gets the tar beaten out of him makes me happy, I'll agree that they've booked this storyline and Del Rio's face turn well so far, but at the end of the day there still isn't much that Big Show does for me. Highlight of the show for me is Swagger returning, hopefully they actually push him instead of relegating him back to jobber status in a few months.

Oh so those guys aren't the actual Chamber line up, they just had to impress Booker to try and get in, basically since they were all former world champs. I'm still seeing 6 man tag chamber with Cena taking the Orton spot with Sheamus/Ryback while Orton will probably be in the world title contender chamber. Heel Monster Khali would fit in a chamber setting at least, but Face Khali has no place in there so I hope he doesn't get in. and seeing as King Face beat Hell No they might be out, while Sandow didn't lose so maybe Rhodes Scholars gets in the chamber either that or they face Without Mystery for a contendership match for the 3rd time. Am i the only one who thinks a three tag team Elimination Chamber match might be fun?

Smackdown just got sold to me by Swagger, been a Swagger fan and now that I see he's coming back not being "I'm an american, cheer me" face and looking impressive I am totally in. Del Rio has gotten every big face WWE can get to shake his hand and say "Your a good face" over the past couple weeks so this could be leading to something big at Mania, Del Rio vs. Ziggler might of been a test to their rumored match at Mania and I'm interested in that too.

Nope you're not the only one, a three tag team Chamber match would be great.

Only thing I really remotely care about is Swagger getting what appears to be a push. I hope they don't drop the ball on him though.

Didn't like this one actually. Hate that EC match wont be for title. It's nonsense. WWE needs to change EC's time in year, with any ppv. Probably a PPv which doesn't have any stipulation. Sandow vs Sheamus again, thank god Shield interfered. The thing between ADR and Show looks good. Khali vs Mahal? Worst match ever? Maybe. Wanna see Cara & Rey vs Hell No. Will watch this but hope it is good.

I don’t hate Swagger coming back, but please change his entrance theme. The Rage Against The Machine ripoff band doesn’t fit him at all.
