According to the latest issue of Power Slam, Carlito has an open offer to return to WWE, whenever he desires. The magazine, however, notes that the former WWE Superstar is enjoying the freedom of working independent groups.

The second generation grappler was released from his contract with WWE in May 2010 due to a violation of the company's drug testing program and subsequent refusal to attend a rehabilitation facility for a reported addiction to painkillers.
I'd absolutely have him back without a second thought. Got all the tools to be a solid midcard act at worst, although he really should have become a main eventer. Respect the guy alot aswell because he's stated numerous times on Twitter that the reason he hasn't gone back to the WWE is because he doesn't want to get paid for sitting on the benches. Some people might think it's crazy for not taking the money and sitting on the sidelines, but I respect his passion to actually want to wrestle.

Would love the guy back, when he's getting a decent push theres not many better to watch, yet he has this Jekyll and Hyde side to him where if he isn't happy you can tell he's going through the motions ie the tag team with Primo.

Can't see whats not to like though, very charismatic, funny, and agile/talented in ring too. Hes a complete package, not in the sense that Savage and Michaels were but a great addition to any company.

There's no question that Carlito would be a fine addition to WWE programming. The question is whether or not WWE would commit to him and put up with his terrible attitude.

*raises hand*

"No question"? When was Carlito ever a fine addition to anything? His matches were the shits, and his promos were even worse. Good riddance to that trash.

This guy enjoys the indies, because he doesn't have to e to job to anyone.

This guy will only do well in WWE when he stops being a mark for himself and act like he deserves the top spot because he headlined shit in Puerto Rico.

WWE has a way of paying dues before you get anywhere, this is the reason why some green as grass nobody doesn't get pushed to the moon right off the bat. Ryback had to toil in developmental since 06 you know when he wasn't unemplyed that is.

He's apparently making enough money to do what he wants to do the way he chooses to do it gotta respect that.

I did enjoy some of Carlito's matches. But he does need to work on his attitude and he does need to be repackaged.

I wouldn't mind Carlito coming back. His attitude wasn't always the best at times but he was always a solid worker with an entertaining gimmick. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays on the indies though. His schedule isn't as grueling and he can get away with being so arrogant.

I could see a decent face run in him if he was to return.

I'm a big time Carlito fan. Even though his tweets get a bit stale, he's always entertained me and is a solid worker. I have no problem with him coming back, would be cool to see him return.
