This is not '97 anymore Kane it not that legit threat that he once was.

He was a huge threat two years ago when he held the World Heavyweight title for a few months and defeated Undertaker clean a few times.

The thing is with someone like Kane, or Big Show, they are always going to be considered threats because of their size and because they have been in and around the mainevent for over a decade.

You could say 2010 or 03. Kane has the crazy card that keeps him legit. I will say though the problem they face is always the same, Kane always and I mean always gets turned by the fans as they cheer him like a face no matter what evil shit he does
