You guys think that on the final Raw on the USA network, we’ll get an Undertaker vs Damien Demento rematch?
Nah.

More likely, even though he’s almost 80 years old, Vince gonna take one last stunner

I think the assumption of WWE and Netflix is if you love you WWE you'll need to get the Sub. I always thought with Streaming alive and well that Wrestling would go to this eventually. Just like every other Company especially on the Joshi side I'll just wait for the day after to DL the WWE product they ain't getting my Dimes and Nickels :lol

We are thrilled to bring WWE live programming to our members around the world. WWE Raw is sports entertainment, which is right in the sweet spot of our sports business, which is the drama of sport. We think of this as 52 weeks of live programming every week, every year. It feeds our desire to expand our live programming. Most importantly, fans love it.
For decades, WWE has grown this multi-generational fanbase we believe we can serve and grow. We believe the WWE has historically been under-distributed outside of North America, and this is a global deal, so we can help them, they can help us build that fandom around the world. This should also add fuel to our new and growing ad business.

Also it depends on how much Raw viewers actually use their cable otherwise. I only have YouTube TV for wrestling really, I use it for sports too but if I didn't have it I'd just stream them like I do when they're blacked out anyway

Raw is leaving, there's rumors AEW content could be simulcast on Max. If both of those happen I'm canceling YouTube TV in a heartbeat, I'll find other ways to watch SmackDown and NXT. Just depends on how much of a "necessity" cable is deemed to be for Raw viewers, some might see it as a push to completely ditch it like me
You could always go with sling for half the price

The golden age of USA Network will forever be Monday Night RAW, Silk Stalkings, La Femme Nikita, and us open tennis

I've been sitting on this for a full 24 hours now. I am happy that Raw is going to Netflix since that app has a bigger audience than USA Network does on TV. I do have the ultimate package for Netflix of 4 TV Screens for 23 bucks a month. Well going to be 25 if they raised the bill. Either way this is a W for WWE as a whole.

Speaking of the audience potential, I did see this

Also....apparently Nielson will start reporting streaming live numbers just like TV starting in like 2025 so that'll be interesting to see. It will include all viewership most likely, not just US so WWE should be able to tout that like a big increase bc rich people seem really dumb and believe all of that

Meltzer:
"Among the things that I do expect that will probably change would be the commercial breaks during matches. Could be wrong, but my gut says there will be commercials between matches and not during matches on RAW.”

”The other one is that if they run long, I don’t think they’re gonna panic, I think it will be the deal AEW has with TNT/TBS now. I think that there won’t be this ‘You’ve got to finish this exactly at 3!’ If you wanna go give minutes over because things are going long, I think it will be like a pay-per-view. You know a pay-per-view has a target time but they go over it constantly. I feel that they will not have that hard out at three hours, so that will change.”

It's weird whoever reported those didn't include this tidbit since that's all pure speculation, but he also said that USA Network has told Brandon Thurston they will not be airing Raw after September like I'd speculated they might until January so there will definitely need to be something for those three months, no way Raw takes a break

Could the one who's picking up NXT take it on?

I don't think it would be convenient to only have the show for 3 months but I don't know their schedule either. It's an option along with Peacock I imagine, Peacock maybe more likely

Guess it all depends on if there would be money involved, what they're currently airing in that timeslot etc because NXT moves onto CW in the same month so there's the possibilities there to use Raw to advertise NXT etc
