If you count his previous IC reign, then yes. Ezekiel Jackson seemed like a savior when he took the belt from Wade.

Unfortunately there have been quite a few disappointing IC title reigns in recent years. WWE just don't seem to realise that if they pushed their midcard champions better it would make their transitions to the mainevent a lot easier.

Talking about Big Zeke he must be lucky to still have a job after being out injured for quite some time.
