WWE RAW 4th July 2011 - LIVE Discussion

This RAW has been taped so please don't post any spoilers in this thread.

On the last RAW Punk cut his awesome promo and was "suspended" by WWE. This week we see the fallout from that plus some more build for MITB PPV.

I won't be online for this RAW as bathroom is being renovated so busy with that this week.

Hopefully a few members will be online posting their thoughts as the show airs.​

Yeah I am going to be staying up for Raw this week, as the whole Punk thing is reaching fever pitch, and I can not wait to see what happens tonight, hope to see some more people around later.

 

[Chase]

I will be on for sure but most likely during commercial. Recap of Raw to kick us off.

 

[Keith]

Right I am position and ready to comment on tonights Raw, this is one of the key stops on the road to MITB. Right now they are running the recap video from last week, with Punk costing Cena the table match, and then the epic shoot! Who else is here.

 

[Chase]

Very nice video package to start off Monday night Raw, really good I mean really I thought they did a good job with it. The clips were rightfully placed and it was a good way to show what the main message from that promo last week. Cena comes out right now what will have to say, A-Ry and Miz tonight as well sounds awesome too me.

 

[Keith]

Cena hits the ring to open the show, another very mixed reaction.

Cena comes out to announce that CM Punk has been suspended.

 

[Andrew]

Wow this promo is interesting, Cena is backing up CM Punk saying he is only speaking of how feels. I'm digging this

Reference of Daniel Bryan, signs confiscated...

Cena is no company boy now

 

[The New F'n Show]

Good promo here by Cena he is getting the crowd into what he says. "First Amendment" chants were cool.

 

[Andrew]

An interesting promo there, has everyone guessing what will happen at MITB.

Eve & Kelly Kelly vs. Bella Twins up next.

Wow this promo felt really real, and I mean really real and true to the heart. I mean people may bash Cena that is there preference but he was very true in what he said. Good opening promo only gripe is the can heat since this is a tape Raw, so easy to tell, but it is what it is, didn't take away from the promo that was given to us.

 

[Keith]

This is an interesting promo by Cena, the way WWE are actually turning it around, and having Cena slate management for suspending CM Punk for speaking his mind, the mentions of WWE taking signs from fans, as well as his silly look are nice touches. Says he will confront Vince Mcmahon later on raw, and demand that he face Punk at MITB. Credit to Cena, he handled this segment very well. Divas tag match up next.

Does anybody think John Cena will actually lose the belt? I have a strange feeling that he possibly could lose the belt... WWE has been predictable and stuff but this time I really see Cena dropping the title and slightly turning heel. It'd be the best time to before we head to Mania for his match vs. The Rock.

Cena can take some time off and sit in the crowd etc etc

Cena cuts probably one of the best promos he has ever cut and actually speaks the truth.... he wants Punk at Money In The Bank!
