WWE Raw 3/5/10 Discussion Thread!

13977622

Raw will offer some extra variety from Jacksonville, FL when the talented Wayne Brady stops by as guest host. The singer, actor and game show host will surely want to shake things up and bring a wide array of action to WWE.

Live on a special three-hour Raw, eight Superstars swapped brands as part of the 2010 WWE Draft. While Monday Night Raw welcomed back Chris Jericho, Edge and others, the red brand also bid farewell to Kofi Kingston, Kelly Kelly and more.

Finally a celebrity guest host that I have heard of! Wayne Brady has to be the first celeb I've actually heard of since the guy off Napolean Dynamite.

I think Raw will be a clusterfuck of main eventers trying to stay up there and not drop to the mid card and mid carders desperately trying to clutch on to the little air time they got in the first place. As long as the Edge vs Orton feud continues I will be happy though. However I would rather see them as a team though, which won't happen any time in the foreseeable future due to Edge turning into the superheel he once was and Orton being the greatest badass face since SCSA, infact the only badass face I can recall since SCSA. I hope Morrison begins to develop a US title feud with the Miz, they have already had little mini feuds but this will be great I think. Who do you all think will be taking Chavo, Masters and Horswoggle's place in the guest host segs? Khali? Who else though, plus they have lost one of their escorts to the Divas title and another has gone to Smackdown, but they still have Santino :). I doubt Raw will be good, but there is always room to be surprised.

THIS!

I want to see who gets lost in the shuffle. Mainly, I want to see where Sheamus goes from here. Batista will continue his feud with Cena, Orton and Edge will more than likely start a feud with one another, and Sheamus..... Yeah.

I should note, with HHH "injured", this leaves Cena as the only top face on RAW. So either Morrison will be elevated or a heel will turn face... Jericho?

^ Umm, did you forget about Randy Orton? He's babyface and arguably as over as Cena.

Anyways, this should be an interesting RAW especially after all the roster changes the Draft brought. Hopefully the creative team can utilize all the main eventers equally and we don't have to deal with people getting lost in the shuffle

How about Sheamus turning face and then feuding with Jericho. This would secure Sheamus as the new Batista, it has been talked about alot, but I think people are forgetting that Tista was a face for the better part of his career, I'm not saying Sheamus should mirror Batista's career but he needs to prove he can do it both as a heel and a face. I know Sheamus has been getting mega-heat recently due to 'retiring' HHH but there is always a way to get round something like that, I'm not gonna try and think of a way to turn him, that job is for the WWE creative team, but it should be done sooner rather than later imo. This would seem really weird at first and out of place. This won't even need to happen straight away, but at some point, Cena can cope as the single top face on Raw for a while, it is perfectly doable, if nesessary Orton could even turn into a proper face for a bit. Having said all that and put all that effort into covering up the holes in my argument, it is perfectly possible for HHH to return and not be injured.

Didn't forget about Orton, but he's going to be feuding with Edge for the time being. It still leaves a void open on the face side.

I would stick this...but I can't.

Wayne Brady should be pretty funny though, even while being PG.

"Hoes, Dave...Dave, hoes."

"What's up bitches."

Love that episode

Raw's going to be a huge cluster-fuck. Too many main eventers. They didn't put them on there for nothing. So look for the mid card guys to get less time. Morrison and Truth came over as a tag team so they lucked out. But the others, sucks for them. Hopefully Miz can keep his heat with 3 top heels on the roster.

Wayne Brady as host is cool though. Him on Chappelle show was hilarious.

That would make no scene at all. Sheamus just got put over in a big way in taking out Triple H. He put on him the injured list. Why would they turn him face after that? Of course, Big Show and Edge have randomly changed so who knows. It's still be dumb though.

I don't think Truth and Morrison are a tag team anymore. I think they just happened to get drafted at the same time. If anything they will be on again off again as a tag team, because I haven't seen them tag alot since Mania.

Now that Edge is back to being heel, and then we have Jericho, Miz has his work cut out for him to keep his head afloat on Raw.

I don't think we've seen the last of Truth/Morrison as a team. The main event scene is stacked. The mid card scene is stacked. If they don't start a a program with Miz tonight, they're staying a team. I doubt Jericho is staying in the main event. I can honestly see him going to the tag picture. Maybe him and Miz as partners. They can play off that both were former partners of Big Show.

I never thought of the idea of Jericho and Miz being tag partners. Cena is guaranteed to stay in the main event. Edge and Orton are probably feuding. Batista is sticking around for a little bit more. Sheamus will go after Cena after Batista. That does leave Jericho out to dry. Jericho and Miz vs. the Hart Dynasty would be quite the scene. Plus we can get some segments where Jericho and Bret exchange some words. That could be quite the tag feud.

Can't see any of that happening, Morrison will more than likely feud with Miz, Jericho could go anywhere I see the more likely outcome with him is going into some sort of feud with Sheamus or joining the Edge/Orton feud somehow.

If Morrison and Truth are destined for singles competition on Raw, both will get smashed. Miz will feud with Morrison and I would lol if Truth gets fed to Sheamus. Sheamus won't have much leading into Over the Limit. A small squash like feud against a decent mid carder like Truth could hold Sheamus over until he gets his feud with Cena.

I don't know if Miz is ready for big singles success though. He really looked great holding 3 belts, made him appear a bigger superstar than he actually was. I think a tag team with Jericho might do wonders for him. Big Show really did nothing for the Miz, but Jericho could really help him out.

I just can't see Sheamus going face at this point.....possibly, never. I think he fits the heel role a lot better and I have a feeling that people wouldn't cheer for him if he were a face, anyways. Changing between heel and face works for some (like Orton) but I don't know if it would work for Sheamus.
