The thing that doesn't make sense though is that Steph could just strip him of it, but instead she's booking him a title match a month in advance. The whole time she was arguing with Cena why Bryan shouldn't be champion, but the match was already booked so we know he's staying until MITB at least.

Her point to be proven is that Bryan won't compete, won't hand it over, and doesn't care about the wwe/fans/title? It makes little sense like you said unless its to make Bryan more of a selfish guy on Noreen in the eyes of viewers
