You TOTALLY missed the damn point.Problem is the promo makes sense. Stephanie makes sense, even Cena made some sense. The problem is it makes Bryan comes off as some soft ass douche who can't fight his own battles and is disrespecting the title and holders before it. It would make more sense if Daniel was a heel, since faces give it up when they can't go (think Dave back in the day)
Cena's point was that Bryan deserves to be champion. Every step of the way he fought to win to have it taken from him, he fought to win to have it taken from him, he FOUGHT TO WIN to have it TAKEN from him. He doesn't have a fractured neck or a surgery that SHOULD keep him out for up to a year... it's a surgery that was meant to relieve some of the numbness and pain he has been experiencing and he SHOULD be back within a few months.
Steph messed up when she said Bryan isn't a fighting champion... he hasn't had much of an opportunity, because he fought through his injury in order to get his title, not got injured one night AFTER he won it.
I don't know that I agree with Bryan keeping the belt anymore if he is not able to compete at MITB... but you're way off about so much. How does Bryan come off as a soft ass douche who can't fight his own battles? He just went through 8 months of fighting SINGLE-HANDED in multiple matches a night, oftentimes having a handicap match in there... with nobody watching his back (except Punk for like 2 weeks). The whole point of this is that if Bryan is going to lose the strap, he DESERVES TO LOSE IT, not have it stripped or taken from him by The Authority.
