Are we forgetting Big E was a face the whole time he was on NXT and debuted as a heel.

It is such a weak excuse from WWE. Shouldn't be that hard to come up with decent storylines for everyone on the roster, especially for a big name like Christian. He would add a lot to the uppermidcard on both shows and there are plenty of young heels out there that he could feud with.

He's never been a Big Name in WWEs eyes though. Best use for him at this point would probably be tag teaming with jericho again.

Watching this match and I just think about how WWE have wasted both Rhodes and Sandow. Rhodes Scholars worked well but then having them split and reform a few times just killed it, should have given them the titles for a bit just to continue the team and storyline. When WWE saw how good Sandow looked against Sheamus all those months ago it should have clicked with them to start pushing him as a serious singles wrestler.

When I wrote big name I wondered if someone would mention it. I don't mean mainevent star that will carry the company but a guy that can easily move into the World title scene and be considered a threat to most guys on the roster. He isn't in the top echelon but he is a big enough name that WWE should be trying all they can to come up with a storyline for him. He is too big a name to waste on the sidelines if he is healthy and ready to go, not like he is Evan Bourne or Ted DiBiase.

Could easily have Christian feud with someone like Sandow, Cesaro, Rhodes, Barrett etc and put those guys over.

I assumed you meant world title worthy. And I still don't think WWE sees him that way. I honestly feel like he was rehired to keep him from becoming big in TNA. Though why they'd bother with that I don't know but I mean he's been back two three years and wrestled maybe 20 matches maybe.
