WWE RAW 25th of April 2011 LIVE Discussion Thread

The last RAW before Extreme Rules PPV and the focus will be on the draft rather than on building the PPV. I really think that it would have been better if the draft was next week so that the PPV was completed first.

Both brands could use more mainevent stars so expect a lot of top midcard talent to switch brands. I wouldn't be that surprised to see a couple of title holders switching brands as well.

R-Truth turned heel last week and lost his title shot to John Morrison. Should be some good follow up from that. Will he switch brands or will he get put back into that title match?

Who do you think will be drafted? Do you think another match will be announced for Extreme Rules?

I will be online tomorrow for the show so lets make this a memorable thread for one of the biggest RAW's of the year!​

I can see Randy Orton moving over to Smackdown, ending the feud between him and CM PUnk at Extreme Rules. I think Truth should move to Smackdown as well and start fresh as a heel there, maybe feuding with Randy over Randy always taking opportunities that should be is etc etc...

A Sheamus and Wade Barrett swap could be good, seeing as though the Corre looks like its done and dusted, and it will give him a fresh start as a singles man on hi own, maybe feuding with Daniel Bryan.

Hopefully its a good show.

I am 95% sure that WWE will switch Sheamus and Wade Barrett. It enables Corre to split completely which has been hinted at for a few weeks now. It also allows Barrett to just be a singles guy rather than as the leader of a group which he has been even since he won NXT. I would like to see what he could do on his own. Sheamus has been on RAW ever since he moved from ECW so it will give him some fresh options.

RAW to Smackdown
CM Punk - Again to break up Nexus which has dragged on way too long
Daniel Bryan - Needs a change and would work well on a show that is wrestling based more than skit based.
Evan Bourne - Another that could use a change, isn't used much on RAW be good to see him on Smackdown.
Ted Dibiase - This has to happen. Creative should be shot if this move isn't made. His career has gone nowhere on RAW and he needs some fresh writers.
Zack Ryder - If RAW aren't taking advantage of his YT show Smackdown writers should be begging for this move.

Smackdown to RAW
Chris Masters - With the amount of midcard talent moving to Smackdown RAW needs replacements and Masters could be a good addition to the RAW midcard title scene.
Drew McIntyre - Has always been on Smackdown. Hasn't taken that next step and could use some new feuds.
Jack Swagger - 95% sure this will happen. Swagger will be moved to Cole's main show and he is one that could go to the next level after building his character back up during this Cole/Lawler feud.
Kofi Kingston - Buried on Smackdown so a change of brands may be good even if he did move last year. He feuded with Orton on RAW last year but never took that next step this can be take 2.
Chavo Guerrero - This is just to even things out. Won't get a push on either brand but is a handy go to guy.

Should be a good show since there will be a lot of interesting changes.

I am excited for this show the draft is what has me hooked to this episode of Raw, just weird how normally this show would be a 3 hour event but instead it is a 2 hour. So I see it to be pretty rushed.

This has been a good battle royal so far. I haven't been bored by it. I believe the winning team only gets on draft pick. So far I am excited. I will be doing a draft evaluation at the end of the show. Can not wait to see who gets drafted first.

First draft pick.... it is going to be John Cena... No way, wow what a shocker Cena is on SD they needed a big time face and they got it. Woah!

Damn Cole vs JR tonight as our main event... wow and now some R-Truth goodness recapping a great heel turn move. R-Truth better come out and cut a promo I am interested to hear what he has to say.

R-Truth cutting a really good promo right now in the arena. It is given time and it is building the character of R-Truth I wonder if he is out for a match or if he is just cutting this promo.

Morrison attacks R-Truh for his troubles and that is about it. Nice promo by R-Truth and I suggest it by everyone, I think they did well in making his full on heel turn affective. I do not think they will use the cigarettes anymore since the E' got in trouble for that.

More Kharma goodness it is looking amazing her face is finally shown, and a nice logo too it. Eve is in the ring and here comes Layla, and now Michelle is coming out. I think Raw will get the pick here.


Wow what a useless squash match for Raw to get a pick. So Cole is now leaving so he can warm up against JR lame.

The draft pick for Raw is....

Wait before that Layla snaps on Michelle, beats her bad and now Layla crying and Raw gets....Rey Mysterio booyaka booyaka.

Wow, Rey on RAW sucks, I'm not a big fan of his at all, and this does nothing for me seeing as sin cara is on raw...cena to Smackdown is huge.

Cody doing a sheer gold promo right now backstage. I loved i so much and Kofi now is coming out after just winning the battle royal. Excited too see who his opponent will be... Sheamus should be a good match.
