Had a late shift today so got home after Raw started and watched from the beginning. Solid show. Glad JR is back. Rey-Miz match was a very good TV match. Rey-Cena was alright. Ending with Punk was great but I wouldn't be stunned if he isn't back. Showing up just to let people know who the real champ is works for me. Punk did use the song in ROH but when it started playing the first thought that came to my head was that it was Austin's HOF song. Always liked it as a Wrestling Theme it just works for me. Overall good show and draws viewers in for next week again which is the ultimate goal. Having a title tournament for no reason (the guy who won lost the belt and it is the same belt) was kinda useless.

If I was Rey, I'd leave the company. He gets fucked over a lot, short reigns and such... Bit sad.

But I enjoyed Cena vs. Rey a lot, hope it happens again one day, such a great match that was.

Ending bit was just win, CM Punk on TV makes my day. Cult of Personality song, I'm repeating the song all day long. Love that song, I knew what it was just forgot the title stupidly LOL

Thinking about Punk's return, did anyone else think it was odd that Punk came out in his wrestling gear?

Why wouldn't Punk be back for good though. The guy walked out to the ring unexpected at the end of the show and comfronted the new WWE Champion, and basically proclaimed himself the really WWE Champion, surely that is leading somewhere, it wouldn't just happen and then Punk leaves again. Punk VS. Cena at Summerslam Champion VS. Champion makes perfect sense to me and would round off the feud nicely.

Anyway much better Raw this week.

1. Miz/Rey was a very exciting match, and this new edge to Miz's personaity is being built nicely, this guy is here to stay and I think he will be WWE Champion again before the end of the year.

2. Ziggler/Bourne was a reasonable short match, but Evan should have won and Dolph messed up the zigzag.

3. Diva bout was all over the shop, but at least KK actually got a good response this week.

4. Was a bit mixed on HHH's speech, he handled it well, and I liked the comedy stuff with R-Truth [Tripler has always been good with that sort of stuff], however just bring back J.R. and Morrison returning just to flatten Truth didn't feel big enough for this sort of address. Still a nice segment, which left the viewer with the impression that HHH would be a very different owner to Vince and that WWE will be moving in a different direction in the future.

5. Ryder was wasted in squashing Cole, and this lame comedy stuff is the sort of thing we need to see the back off.

6. Good win for Del Rio over Kofi, made sense for him to get that score even, and the min-feud with him does Kingston no halm.

7. The main event was alright, a little akward, and I agree that Rey was screwed over, he deserves so much better than that. Would it really have hurt to have kept the title off Cena for more than a couple of weeks. Anyway the finish was effective, I love Punk's new theme too, and it was a good twist. Lets hope they do the right thing and keep this going until SS at least.

I know that he will be back for good but wouldn't Punk be in his casual gear rather than wrestling trunks since he didn't wrestle at all that night? That was my only issue with it since there was no need for Punk to be in his wrestling gear. Punk should have been in that top and jeans. Only a minor thing.

Maybe he follows the Orton dress code and never wears pants?

I think it was to signify what he wore when he beat Cena for the title, cause it was the same exact outfit.
