The whole point to breaking the streak is the guy who does it will be there with you for decades, bust his ass, be loyal, be a great ambassador, not fuck up in public with the ball in his hands, just like Taker.

Only Cena fits that bill and can carry that weight without hesitation. Orton can't, Punk can't, Dolph/Cody/Wade ain't proven shit to be trusted. It's Cena or perfect record that is just the reality of the situation. It isn't something you simply can give away and get back like losing a title and then correcting it by putting it on someone else or the MITB case ... It is one and done, that is it

I'm not sure your reading my post never did I say someone should defeat taker at mania.

What I said was you take some young guy put him in a match with taker and you make him look good. Then he can do the whole I almost had him at mania shtick that HHH is currently doing and bam new Main Event Superstar. He'd still lose you just make him look like a contender with the match.

John Cena is the centerpiece of the company for a reason. He can deliver when he gets the right guy to feud with. He showed it with Punk and he's showing it now. Keep doing this John, this is why I respect the hell out of you.

Good promo from Cena, he should deliver those every week and I can't wait for the promos between Rock and him leading to Mania. They're gonna break some boundaries.
