Wouldn't say it didn't work because I'm sure there is a good amount of people who feel pissed therefore giving Punk legit heat and come off as a legit douchebag which is rare in today's WWE.

I think that most people, other than maybe some of the kids at the show, will see that it was an attempt at cheap heat that didn't work. I don't think the fans would reward Punk, with boos, for that angle. They are more likely to be silent, which is exactly what happened during the angle.

Good seeing Gabriel being the one to close out that match with the 450 splash. Hopefully we see more of International Airstrike on RAW and Smackdown in the coming months.
