Because Kofi was the last champion and he is trying to win himself a title shot. Riley I like but he has to at least get a match on RAW before facing the IC champion.

Massive difference. Alex Riley debuted years ago and has been a jobber for the last 18 months.

Alex has been in the WWE since 2009 and has been a jobber since then, the last time he was on Raw on a weekly basis was when he had that one month feud with Miz like 2 years ago, so why would Vince say "Hey lets put Alex against Wade, cause i'm sick of seeing Kofi/Wade. Plus Alex is over and can make me money.

Caught up to live TV a lot quicker than I meant to, so I guess I'll join back in on this discussion. Kane/Ziggler has been pretty good so far.

It has been pretty good so far considering their contrasting styles. At least they are giving them a bit of time rather than rushing them like they did with Sandow/Del Rio

Predictable finish, love how the Smackdown chamber can go so many ways.

A little odd that they didn't save one of these final participant matches for the last Smackdown before the Chamber. Could have named two tonight before saving the last reveal and giving people a reason to tune in to Smackdown.
