Ladies & Gents, after weeks and weeks of promotion and hype, WWE Raw will be 1000 episodes old. And Raw goes three hours to celebrate!
This special edition of Raw promises to be a memorable one. How could it not be, look at the amount of stuff on tap!
- WWE Champion CM Punk will defend his title as John Cena cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase. This is a rivalry renewed from last summer when Punk held the WWE title hostage. Punk was the victor back then, will Cena redeem himself this time around?
- It'll be a busy night for COO Triple H. First, he & Shawn Michaels will have a D-Generation X reunion. It's been a while since DX has appeared on Raw, what will they have in store for us? Meanwhile, The Game will be awaiting the answer to his Summerslam challenge as Brock Lesnar returns to the WWE after a 3 month absence. What will "The War Machine's" answer be?
- The Rock returns to WWE after 4 months to kick start his WWE Championship goal. Will current champ CM Punk have anything to say about this?
- Daniel Bryan and AJ are getting married! The wedding ceremony will take place in front of the world, and what better occasion than Raw 1000? Sadly, WWE weddings have a reputation for going askew, what will happen this time around?
- After months of interviewing and auditioning, the new General Manager of WWE will be announced. Raw & Smackdown have been without a permanent authority figure since the firing of John Laurinaitis at No Way Out, who will the new GM be?
- And if that wasn't enough, we know that Christian will defend the Intercontinental Championship at the request of the WWE Universe. Heath Slater will likely be met by another superstar from Raw past and a whole host of Hall of Famers, WWE Legends and guests are expected to appear. It's easily the biggest Monday night of 2012, you'd be a fool to miss out!
