WWE.com has a new feature up, ranking the greatest pro wrestling managers of all time. Several legendary performers are included in the list, including Miss Elizabeth, Jim Cornette and the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase.

WWE did a similar list, ranking the top managers in 2009, with many of the same names present. Despite being the first confirmed name for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2014, the late Paul Bearer fell from the #4 spot to the #8 spot. And Paul Heyman, who wasn't even featured in 2009, takes the #2 spot just under the defending Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

5. Captain Lou Albano
4. Freddie Blassie
3. Jimmy Hart
2. Paul Heyman
1. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
i think we can all agree on number 1 but every other ranking can be debated.

My top 5 would be

5. Cap'n Lou
4. Jim Cornette (only if his NWA days are included)
3. Paul Bearer
2. Paul Heyman
1. Bobby Heenan

Could switch the two Pauls around really.

Fucking crime Marlena aka Terri Runnels is 24. She made the tag division and Goldust. She got the Hardys and E&C so over that they did a ladder match with her on the line. Hell she got Saturn and a mop over. Not to mention PMS

Shocked Teddy's so low because of historical value as well

It is WWE playing the history game, if it wasn't for the fact that Heyman is currently getting another run with the company he would not be so high. Its a decent list overall think I would have Cornette and maybe Bearer in the top five.

I have said for years, the next best thing to Heenan is Heyman. Glad to see WWE actually agreeing with me.

Wonder where James Mitchel was listed(if at all, he only did work for 2 companies WWE now owns), as he would have been my 3rd, with Bearer, then Hart to round out my top 5.

pretty solid list actually. Figured CPT Lou would have placed higher, because didn't he manage like 24 different champions throughout his career?

where is Arnold Skaaland I know he managed Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund, with both men winning the WWF World Heavyweight Championship under his tutelage.
