WWE Plays A Rib On Macho Man's Brother Lanny Poffo

This past Monday night, Ryback's opponents on RAW were billed as Arthur Rosenberg and Stan Stansky.

Prior to the match, they recited a poem together which was intended to be a rib on Lanny Poffo who once played "The Genius" in WWE and recited poems before matches.

Poffo, the brother of Randy Savage, was being ribbed according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter because he made it clear that the only way Macho Man Randy Savage can go in to the WWE Hall of Fame is if the entire Poffo family goes in with him.

Didn't take much notice of it but interesting that they would just decide to do it all of a sudden. But I think rib is the wrong word.. obscure inside reference seems a better choice. I don't think all of the Poffo family deserves to go into the HOF but Randy has said himself multiple times before his death that he won't be inducted into the HOF unless he and his family go in. So sort of a class act by him imo. I think Randy deserves a spot into the HOF by himself though and also induct Miss Elizabeth into the HOF in the same year. And then induct the other Poffo's the next year after it. If Drew Carey and some other names are in the WWE HOF, I'm sure they can go in.

Either way, the fact Randy Savage is not in yet is a sham and a shame.

Yeah well it's not a deep-kept secret as to why WWE is reluctant to induct Randy Savage, even posthumously. I don't see what the Genius ever did to deserve induction, frankly I always thought he was one of the worst and most idiotic managers in the history of WWE. I would rather Savage not get in at all than for his entire family to be patronized and still not even receive the highest honor of the event while someone like Kevin Nash or JBL takes center stage.
