WWE Offering ROH Star A Deal

- Prowrestling.net reports that Ring of Honor Kevin Steen is expected to be offered a WWE developmental deal soon. It's also reported that top indie stars ACH and Rocky Romero will not be offered deals. They attended the same WWE tryout camp as Steen, Roderick Strong and Willie Mack, who we noted earlier is close to being signed. No word yet on Strong.

Not sure whether or not to believe this to be honest because from the very brief things i've seen and heard of the guy he doesn't seem like a fit in the WWE. He didn't seem to have a decent physique and I'm pretty sure I read the guys promos are profanity fueled.

I'm a fan of Steen, but I'd be pretty shocked if he adapted well to the WWE style. I could see it happening, and he's a good brawler but the odds just don't seem likely.

Remember when people thought Bryan Danielson didn't have the look, or the charisma to get over in WWE?

There are also a few current members of the WWE roster that would make you think Steen's body type isn't going to be a factor.

If he can adopt the family friendly(er) promo style, and not drop an F bomb every night, the guy could go far.

I don't think the physique should be a problem. There's quite a few wrestlers on the roster right now who don't have the best physique but are doing fine. Plus he's probably in the best shape he's been in years.

He made a tweet before War of the Worlds a few days ago saying "New York... one last time" or something so this could very well be true. I'd be delighted if he did sign with WWE. I really don't think he'd have a problem adapting to their style either, I'm sure he'd relish slowing down a little bit at this stage of his career.

I'll kind of be angry if they sign Kevin Steen after not never really goin' after Samoa Joe. I don't care about physiques too much anyways that's just the comparison I'm gettin' from readin' this thread. Joe deserves a WWE run way before this guy does yet I'd say a Steen revolution/rebellion angle would be rather entertainin' on a larger scale.

Comparing GOAT Wyatts to Steen? The guy who took two nobodies, designed the whole gimmick, picked the music, writes most of his own promos and shot and edited his debut vignette and compare him to Kevin Steen? The guy who just "fuck" and has a shitty youtube show?
