Fuck that was an amazing swerve at the end and now we can't even get the conclusion to the rivalry because of Ciampas injury. I'm assuming Johnny would have finally won but idk how that would have effected his main roster call up

That Fatal-5 way was fucking great. Cole was who I wanted to win, and I'm assuming he'll beat Gargano as well just bc I still can't see Gargano winning the big one but maybe it's finally his time. Riddle stays steady impressing me as well. Also it was kinda weird how they had pre-recorded interviews about the main event when Trips announced it in the ring at the beginning of the show

I don't get what the big deal with Adam Cole is tbh.

Personally I would've went all in with Velveteen Dream and have him double champion since he is the biggest crossover star they have imo.

Fun match and I’m happy with the outcome. I’ll be rooting for Cole at Takeover but I wouldn’t be opposed with a Gargano win.

I've always liked Cole since ROH but I'll admit I never saw him as a big WWE player and still don't know if he'll do much on the main roster but I've been loving him on NXT so far

I hope Gargano wins but it looks like he won't since he's main roster bound. My guess is they wanted him to beat Ciampa in New York then probably have him drop the title to Cole at the following Takeover. Since Ciampa is injured maybe they're hotshotting it. OR, maybe Gargano will beat Cole this time then drop it to him at the next Takeover.

Well before I talk about that Fatal 5 Way I must commend WWE for what they showed up earlier in the Show. Between them showing Ciampa's Surgery showing the sacrifice of what it takes being a Wrestler, to Bianca showing more of her bratty attitude towards Io and Kairi their was some good stuff all around in this Show. Just like Tony Nese it was the smart decision to make Cole the guy to face Gargano at NXT Takeover NY. Riddle vs Dream is a lock I feel, you saw them barely touch at times, Black and Ricochet will most likely be facing for the Tag Titles vs The War Raiders if they win the Dusty Classic, so Cole is the only guy who is going to be free for that spot. He didn't blow away anyone in this Match I felt, just enough, but enough to show his intelligence is a problem for anyone to deal with.

What will Gargano have to say to his opponent, who incredibly outlasted the likes of Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black, Ricochet and Matt Riddle in a hectic slugfest to earn a ticket to the NXT Championship Match at TakeOver?
