With NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II fast approaching, two major players will look to make their mark within the NXT Universe. After much speculation and fanfare, former World Champion Bobby Roode finally makes his official entrance into NXT, while Hideo Itami makes his long-awaited return to the ring following more than a year on the sidelines.

The NXT Universe has been buzzing about the possibility of Bobby Roode showing up in NXT ever since he was spotted in attendance at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. The former World Champion will finally grace Full Sail University with his presence after months of speculation and anticipation.

The prestigious Superstar is no stranger to making waves, and his appearance alone is sure to do just that, but what else does Roode have planned for NXT? Will Hideo Itami return in triumphant fashion?

Hideo Itami will finally be making his much-anticipated return to the squared circle tonight after being sidelined for more than a year. The NXT Universe has been clamoring for the decorated Japanese Superstar’s return ever since he was sidelined by injury after being attacked in the parking lot prior toNXT TakeOver: Unstoppable back in May 2015.

A lot has changed in NXT since Itami was shelved by the brutal assault, like the arrival of big name free agents such as Shinsuke Nakamura, Austin Aries and current NXT Champion Samoa Joe. With plenty of new competition in NXT and retribution surely on his mind, Itami is a dangerous foe for any Superstar. But, will Itami be able to pick up where he left off, sawing his way through the competition, or has his time on the sidelines left him with some serious ring rust?

Hideo Itami returns and we see the debut of The It Factor tonight?! This is going to be a can't miss NXT.

Tonight: Asuka and Bayley make their NXT Women’s Title Match at TakeOver official

Summer is heating up, with NXT TakeOver Brooklyn II less than two weeks away. And the most highly anticipated rematch in recent NXT memory will be made official tonight, when Asuka and Bayley sign their NXT Women’s Championship Match contract.

Tonight, The Empress of Tomorrow and her challenger will meet in the middle of the ring for what will be an emotional contract signing.

With Bayley as determined as ever to make history by becoming the first two-time NXT Women’s Champion and Asuka on an indestructible undefeated streak, something has to give. Will these fierce competitors look to upstage each other as they stand face-to-face en route to TakeOver?
