The night where every title is defended (sometimes), Night of Champions comes to you from Nashville, Tennessee (I was just there in April) on Sunday, September 21st. This is where everyone can discuss what matches they think are going to happen and, of course, the PPV itself when it airs on the WWE Network, which you can watch for just....9.99.

ANNOUNCED MATCHES

So yeah, just one match announced so far but obviously a big one. No chance Lesnar loses here, it would be monumentally counterproductive to do so. I can see this one being a bit closer than the last though.

As for other matches on the card, it appears they're setting up Sheamus vs. Cesaro for the US Title. The two had an altercation on Main Event this week that pretty much confirmed that. Meanwhile, I can imagine the Uso's will be going up against the Brothers Dust, as the pair now have a non-title victory over them to go along with their win over former number one contenders Harper and Rowan on SmackDown this week. Obviously we'll be getting another Paige/AJ match which is fine although I'd prefer to see them get a bit more time on this show. Unfortunately, we'll probably also see Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella even though I couldn't give less fucks about it or the horrible angle.

Seems like Ziggler is done with The Miz for now, so not sure who he'll be facing, while I wouldn't be at all shocked to see Wyatt/Jericho, Reigns/Orton and Ambrose/Rollins have another kick at the can.

I'll bet it's a more competitive match. The first one was supposed to be ugly and that's how yet built it up.

And after Heymans I credible promo last Monday where he made Cena look damn near as good as Brock in the process, I bet we get more of a war this time.

So, seeing as nobody else here watches Main Event, I guess I'll mention here that they announced Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton and Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for NoC on the show last night. Can't help but be annoyed at this hastily thrown together Jericho/Orton match where the outcome isn't in doubt at all, while neither Rollins or Reigns should be losing in any fashion. Perhaps a non-finish but since there's a possibility the main ends that way as well, I really don't get the logic here.

I haven't watched the last two Raws, where did Orton vs Jericho come from?

It originally came from Jericho's Highlight Reel a couple of shows back, where he said Orton was given lot's of opportunities because he's a "golden boy" or something along those lines. Orton then attacked Jericho on Monday's show, which led to the match. I guess the point is to give Orton a fairly high-profile win over Jericho seeing as he's leaving to go tour with Fozzy again. I'm sure the match will be good and everything, but it just seems like filler with no real purpose to me.

I saw the other day that this PPV isn't even sold out.

Can anyone confirm that?

Not from any of the usual sources but since its in Nashville there's a high probability WWE will just paper the event to make it look sold out tomorrow night.

I swear there's barely any PPV's in Nashville, seems odd that they wouldn't sell out.

Even more considering Lesnar is in the Main Event.

Judging from the news that Sabs posted about Reigns, it looks as if Rollins is left without an opponent for tomorrow night. I agree that Orton/Jericho being hastily thrown together was ridiculous.

Reigns out, Rollins needs an opponent.

Cue the return of "Hollywood" Dean Ambrose!

hey, this is a thing that's happening.

Not watching, but put money on Cena to beat Brock so I still have a vested interest in the main at least.

AJ Lee just showing up and cutting a promo there was great.

And Christian doing a Peep Show with Jericho? Awesome.
