Just watched the first two Episodes of the Ruthless Aggression and I was highly entertained. I always find it funny when WWE loves to spin something to make you forget the truth. Oh the Get the F Out was for this, but actuality we all know why WWF changed to WWE. It's like WWE saying Stephanie had a role to play in the Women's Revolution happening in WWE please stop. You know around the time I think I was maybe 12-13ish so like some of us were coming off that Attitude Era and we were wondering what is to come, and my Parents who were avid watches for years before I was born didn't take interest with the younger talent coming up in WWE. Some of my best times was watching Wrestling with my folks including my Siblings. For alot of Years I had to carry that Flag with Wrestling alone with my family. I feel good that I did take interest and give those guys a shot and kept watching because God knows where I would be without Wrestling in my life.
Austin being angry on the direction of WWE in 2002 was no shock at all. Even I heard Brock Lesnar who I knew nothing about knew he meant business and I knew how in the hell will they get outta this. I honestly thought Austin would get attacked and Lesnar would move on in the KOTR, while setting up another feud for Austin, but I never thought he would no show. I don't think they would of been able to come to a full conclusion with this and he probably would of done it and Austin would of been even more pissed about back then. So you have Lesnar coming to his own as a Rookie, then Cena shows and blows people away. I was a Doctor of Thuganomics guy with Cena back in the day, but once I saw WWE hovering over Cena like a Momma Bird and taking away alot of his edge I felt, then I moved onto Batista. Shoot I even had an Autographed Ruck Rules Cena Shirt that I gave to my Cousin that I won at a Live Event so I was with the guy for some time. I never had a problem with Cena the person, or the Wrestler, because I always knew the guy brought his Lunch Pal and more often than not the guy knocked it outta the Park. I blame more so the Writing Staff/Booking Team and how it felt like Cena was never evolving as a talent. How many times he say the same thing, and be put in the same situation with the same result. I like to see a hero fail and have them come back. It felt like anytime that would happen with Cena, he would get back the Sleight and it was frustrating as a fan to be honest. Still that doesn't mean I respect the guy at all, without him and some of the other talent that came up like Orton, Batista, where would business be today.
I got to watch the Evolution one later today so I can get pumped seeing Batista and Orton tear it up as younglings in the business.
