Length of the show means nothing in the Netflix binge era imo

Yeah but nobodies binging WWE PPV's especially when their four hours long. You cannot compare it to 8 part drama/comedies which can easily be consumed in a couple of hours.

@Chris I would be with you if this was the Attitude era. But when the products as hit and miss as it is right now then so many hours of wrestling is overkill. I think the lack of strong competition is a problem too. When you could switch in between the promotions during the late 90s and see so much quality on across the channels it was much more exciting.

Y'all gotta stop looking at the Attitude Era with these rose-colored glasses, it was my favorite time too but Austin had to take up a whole hour of Raw and we still got shit like the Oddities, Droz and Mideon every week :jp: It was the definition of hit and miss, never seen such a variety of amazing shit and just actual shit in one time period than then. Nowadays I wouldn't really call it hit or miss, just kinda meh in the middle without a lot of stuff standing out, but very consistent in that...which isn't necessarily a good thing

And Deezy doesn't mean people are out here binging the whole 5 hours, he mostly means a lot of people don't watch live anymore and when they binge they skip to what they want to see and only watch that...hence the time not really being a factor.

Whenever I read "lack of competition" my eyes can't roll back enough....everything on the same!even timeslots is their competition.

It's a stupid narrative.

The argument holds weight bc the product was pretty poor after WCW folded but I personally think we would have went the way of 02-03 shit regardless bc the attitude era model just wasn't sustainable

So this card looks mostly finalized as the show is tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Raw tag title match added to the pre-show or something. Here's the current betting odds:

Seth Rollins (-400) vs AJ Styles (+250)
Kofi Kingston (-200) vs Kevin Owens (+150)
Becky Lynch (-500) vs Lacey Evans (+300)
Becky Lynch (-170) vs Charlotte Flair (+130)
Men's Money in the Bank: Drew McIntyre (-150) vs Andrade (+250) vs Sami Zayn (+700) vs Finn Balor (+1000) vs Ali (+1200) vs Baron Corbin (+1200) vs Ricochet (+1200) vs Randy Orton (+1400)
Women's Money in the Bank: Mandy Rose (+175) vs Bayley (+250) vs Ember Moon (+300) vs Dana Brooke (+1000) vs Carmella (+1200) vs Naomi (+1200) vs Natalya (+1200) vs Nikki Cross (+1600)
The Miz (-500) vs Shane McMahon (+300)
Roman Reigns (-340) vs Elias (+220)
Samoa Joe (-250) vs Rey Mysterio (+170)
Daniel Bryan & Rowan (-200) vs The Usos (+150)

No odds for the Cruiserweight match bc no one gives a fuck about 205 :frown:

Cathy Kelley and Mike Rome will host a live preview of WWE Money in the Bank 2019 on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, Sunday at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT. The live preview will feature Universal Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Rollins will give insight into how he’s been preparing for his highly anticipated title showdown against AJ Styles. Kingston will talk about getting betrayed by Kevin Owens and his state of mind heading into his championship defense against KO at the always chaotic event. And Becky Two Belts will surely not mince words about her impending two title defenses against Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair.

Plus, what is each champion’s state of mind knowing that the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank contract holders will be decided, meaning we could see a cash-in anytime, anywhere?

Tune in for a unique, live look at these Superstars before WWE Money in the Bank, streaming Sunday on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.

20190515_MITB_WatchAlong--15076c812276e4c6d9e38c1c12b60133.jpg

The Usos, WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The IIconics, Liv Morgan and R-Truth are watching WWE Money in the Bank, and you can join the party when WWE Watch Along streams live on WWE's YouTube, Facebook and Twitter this Sunday.

WWE Watch Along invites you to hang out with host Pat McAfee and a revolving door of Superstars and celebrities while they watch WWE Money in the Bank on the WWE Network. In addition to the Superstars above, guests announced so far include Cathy Kelley, NXT Superstars Eric Bugenhagen, Vanessa Borne, and Aliyah, along with ESPN's Field Yates.

You won't want to miss WWE Watch Along, so tune in to WWE Money in the Bank, streaming live on Sunday at 7 ET / 4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network, and watch along with the Superstars and celebrities on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
So we get a pre-pre-show now :lmao and the watch along is kinda cool, I think they're gonna be uploading it to the Network later in the week after the show, but I can't imagine why anyone would want to watch it live instead of the regular broadcast, to each their own I guess.

The product was always poor if you actually look through it....a few hot angles every now and then does not negate the fact that all that supposed competition only hotshotted the business into what it is now and hasn't been able to recover ever since because people keep pining for the past and wonder why everything thrown against the wall nowadays and it's not working like it did before....law of diminishing returns....even ice cream stops tasting great when you eat it everyday.

Pro wrestling has always had it's elements of stupidity and will always have it.
