How many times does a ref have to stop a match due to rope break during a cage match before people realize no dq doesn't mean no rope break. Even Cole doesn't know this,

He didn’t try breaking up the submission when Shane had the rope tho....soooo.

He was wrong the first time. He can't DQ Miz for it, but the submission wouldn't count if Shane tapped.

Rope break aren't due to disqualifications. It's because you're breaking the legal pin space.

Only falls count anywhere matches have no rope breaks.

So that doesn't apply to submissions tho? They literally change the rules every match it ain't set in stone lol

I mean you're right, it's just the way they made a big deal about it during the submission earlier, I guarantee you there's been cage matches before where rope breaks didnt count bc wrestling always changes the rules, I've seen triple threat matches end in a DQ and that's not supposed to happen
