Jesus I'm so sick of people thinking that veterans should never be in feuds anymore. The Punk/HHH feud was fantastic in my opinion. Punk lost yeah so what. There's no shame in losing to Triple H after three pedigrees and a jackknife. He's been wwe champion for six months now so it didn't hurt him.
1. Veterans who work all year absolutely belong in feuds. But not ones who come out only to stroke their own ego.

2. Not on a short term contracted wrestler like Lesnar. It would be a waste of his short appearances. He needs fresher opponents.

Fantastic? Punk was great, but that was it. The feud was far from fantastic.

I believe no one has a problem with veterans being in feuds... we only have problems with veterans putting themselves in feuds and matches with people they shouldn't be feuding with. I mean, what good could HHH do to Punk when he's hot getting in a feud with him? Sure HHH from that feud gets the spotlight, which by the way he's stealing from a new face, but what does Punk gets from that... he does have the spotlight HHH has... but after that he doesn't get anything unless he actually wins the feud. That's the only problem we have... veterans STEALING new faces spotlights.

They're not stealing the spotlight if the young guy can match up on the mic and the ring. Defeating punk with 3 pedigrees and a jackknife is not stealing the spotlight.

Well, it was... because most of the attention was directed from Punk to HHH... when Punk could be feuding with say... Dolph and creating 2 stars instead of boosting HHH's ego.

It didn't help him though, it derailed his momentum which took him a couple of months to regain.

I only really started caring about Punk again once Jericho showed up. Sure he had good matches with Dolph and at TLC, but as far as being as behind him as I was in the summer? Not even close, and I blame Triple H for most of that.

Yeah Punk's feuds with Del Rio and Miz were boring as shit as well. Punk and Del Rio do not mix.

Ok fine that's what you all think but I think he had a great feud with hunter and it didn't derail him.

Anyway, I'm not going to be in the LD tonight and I'm not gonna be here for the next two days. I'm going on my 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. See ya later
