It’s do or die as the Semifinals of WWE Mixed Match Challenge, featuring the dominant tandem of
Braun Strowman & Raw Women’s Champion
Alexa Bliss against Intercontinental Champion
The Mizand the undefeated
Asuka, begins tonight on Facebook Watch at 10 ET/7 PT.
In addition, tonight’s show will reveal the results of WWE MMC’s Second Chance Vote in which the WWE Universe decides which previously eliminated tag team will face SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair & Bobby Roode next week in the second Semifinal Match.
Vote now for the team you want to return
As demonstrated in their impressive tournament victories over Sami Zayn & Becky Lynch and Jimmy Uso & Naomi, “Team Little Big” personifies in-ring annihilation. The Monster Among Men, who recently won a Tag Team Battle Royal on his own to earn the right to face Raw Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro at WrestleMania, wants to leave nothing but a path of destruction in his wake. However, his newly formed connection with The Goddess of WWE has allowed Strowman to show other sides of his mammoth personality, while also making him that much more dangerous in the process (if that’s possible). Bliss, meanwhile, is the first woman to have won both the SmackDown and Raw Women’s Titles, and for good reason: Like her or hate her, Five Feet of Fury simply knows how to win when it counts. Her ability to gel with the normally unapproachable Strowman has helped make their team one of the clear favorites in WWE Mixed Match Challenge.
After besting Big E & Carmella and then Finn Bálor & Sasha Banks, “Team Awe-ska” is simply no joke. In addition to being a former WWE Champion, an eight-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time United States Champion and a Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner, The Miz is a six-time Tag Team Champion who is capable of playing well with others (when he wants to). At his side is the unbeaten Empress of Tomorrow, whose incredible run of success included an unprecedented 523 days as NXT Women’s Champion, a title she vacated before welcoming the new challenge of joining the Raw roster. The dynamic competitor has since taken WWE by storm, winning the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match to punch her ticket to WrestleMania 34, where she will face Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Put simply, Miz’s extensive and title-laden experience, mixed with the unbelievable skill of the unbeaten Asuka, will be a very difficult team to conquer.
Yet, no matter how dominant both teams may seem, in the end, only one can advance to the WWE Mixed Match Challenge Final in two weeks. Who will survive this elite WWE MMC matchup? Which team will win the fan vote to earn the right to face The Robe Warriors? Find out tonight at 10 ET/7 PT, exclusively on Facebook Watch.
