Cena/Punk is my undisputed number 1 really. And could actually put Punk/Cena from SS somewhere on here too. Rock/Cena tag match probably isn't even in Cena's top 10 matches of the year let alone the 8th best match of the year. Didn't expect this list to be that good though.

Seriously Cena vs Punk should be number one but I guess WWE don't know how to rate matches properly. Stupid really as HHH vs Taker was not so good in my opinion, okay, but not the best...

Its an overall pretty solid list and I know there's always bound to be some things that upset everyone for different reasons, but...

Cena/Punk at MITB should have been #1, no doubt in my mind about that. And I'm very surprised Dolph/Punk from Raw recently didn't make it on the list.

By the way, haven't seen that Yoshi/Kidd match. Can anyone confirm if that's worth checking out?

Was wondering the same about that match since that pretty much stuck out due to it being on NXT. The rumble also shouldn't be that high on the list. If it makes the list should barely make it.

Totally disagree with #1, it was a terrible match.

Everything else is reasonable enough though.

Kidd/Tatsu had some dumb gimmick match where there was a leg of a Tatsu figure on a pole (yeah, really) so bit weird to see that on there.

I can't remember anything from this year really, but i'm sorta surprised Sheamus/Henry from Summerslam was it didn't make the list and even Orton/Punk at Mania. Hell, even Orton/Christian from SmackDown when he dropped the belt would have made my list.

Just realized Punk/Orton from mania didn't make it smh. Match is top 15 worthy.

I expected that to be #1 when I read this was a WWE made list. Just another garbage list to waste time viewing. Got to love the end of year stuff like this.

Agree with everyone here. Punk vs. Cena should clearly be number one, HHH vs. Taker was the best match of the night but overall it shouldn't be number one.

I guess calling it the best match ever retroactively makes up for the fact that the match had no build or logic behind it at all?

These lists overall aren't accurate; they're made for storyline reasons, they're made to make people think that even some bad matches were the best of 2011.

In case anyone was wondering...

The Undertaker
Triple H
John Cena III
CM Punk III
Randy Orton IIII
Christian I
Rey Mysterio IIII
Alberto Del Rio III
The Rock
The Miz III
R-Truth
Edge I
Dolph Ziggler I
Mark Henry I
Big Show
John Morrison I
Wade Barrett
Daniel Bryan
Cody Rhodes I
Kane
Yoshi Tatsu
Tyson Kidd

I couldn't be assed to go look up who was in the multi man matches, so I only counted regular ones. Name being up there gives you one match, anything past that is a second. So "Cody Rhodes I" is technically two, not one.

So that would have the performers of the year as Rey Mysterio, who missed time due to injury, and Randy Orton. Hon mention to Miz, Punk, Del Rio and Cena. Also of note Edge has two despite only wrestling for 3 months of the year. I think that speaks to his calibre.
