you kinda shot your self in the foot. You should have doubled down on that being your flavour because it’s easily believable that Odo just got the story wrong. I mean you probably still get lynched but it’s better. Taking it back and saying it only mentions an altercation just makes the whole thing make no sense lolol

I mean you could also read the OP where Odo straight up says there's liberties taken for the roles/characters

The OP says "I have been intentionally inconsistent with the depth of flavour, connection of role to character, power of role relative to character importance etc. You won't be able to cheese the game." idk if that really helps Jeff's point or anything. I can't say I see a town executioner being especially useful either.

The restriction is probably legit. claiming executioner is just dumb if he can execute today.

Now even if Jeff is lying about the restriction he couldn't execute anyone today anyway without giving himself away to be the lynched tomorrow. So the restriction is probably legit otherwise he just gave himself the restriction on his own which wouldn't have been that bright.
