If the answer is scum regardless of what she does, then the question isn't worth being answered.

Depending on the quality of the answer it can go plenty of ways. It's really a downer that she refuses to acknowledge anything I contribute to the game, or any questions that I ask, over some deep seeded issue. I can ask anyone else a question, and I'm positive I'd get an answer that can help solve the game. If she doesn't want to come to the party, then that's her choice. I'm honestly pissed off that this happens every game. Answer my question and I move on, one way or the other.
