I’ll be able to watch raw live once it hits Netflix so I’m really hoping SmackDown will at least be day after like Hulu was so I can finally start watching the weekly shows.

This bums me because I thought I’d be able to start raw on Hulu now that they wouldn’t be editing the shows down to 90 minutes with the new 2-hour Raw.

I'd almost bet Raw is next day on Peacock for the next few months once Hulu expires just bc if there's no next day rights anyway until Netflix starts then there's no reason not to put it on them. Smackdown will either be permanently next day on Peacock or just until someone else gets next day rights the we get another delay like rn

Now that everything is on USA, I fully expect everything to be whipped out on The Cock next day (or a week later or something).

I was actually surprised the Raw/USA temporary extension was not live on both USA and Peacock, same with the Smackdown deal. Most of these companies are pushing the live stuff to streaming to increase sales. Although maybe the Hulu deals had somethign to do with that.


I do hope Main Event will be on Peacock right away now.

From what I'd heard WWE was offered Peacock or USA for the 3 months before Netflix, but simulcast hasn't been mentioned whatsoever, not sure why they couldn't have been experimented with for this period now that you mentioned it

I'd be willing to bet the Hulu deal had something to do with it. Hulu probably had first rights for streaming for X number of days. Now that that's up they can probably go to the shows live rightsholders.

WWE is wrapping up much of their content on the Hulu streaming platform.

Episodes of WWE Raw, WWE NXT, WWE NXT Level Up, WWE Main Event, WWE Superstars, “Total Divas,” “Total Bellas,” and “Miz & Mrs” are scheduled to expire on Hulu starting on Thursday, September 26.

Other WWE content, however, such as WWE on A&E content like “WWE Rivals” and “Biography: WWE Legends,” are not expiring on 9/26 with the rest of the aforementioned WWE programming.

Additionally, the Hulu original series “Love & WWE” featuring WWE Superstars Bianca Belair and Montez Ford of The Street Profits will remain on the platform.

Hulu Support noted that their current deal with WWE expires in September.

WWE shows will be available on the Peacock streaming platform going forward, however there will be a 30-day period before they are made available.​

It's not surprising in the least. USA currently has the live/next day streaming rights for all 3 shows. CW will get the NXT next-day rights when they get the show next Tuesday. I assume Netflix will keep all the RAWs but they'll probably also be on Peaccok (or whoever gets the WWE Network content after the deal ends) after 30 days.

It's not fair to ask a network to fuck themselves over by allowing someone to mooch off their investment.

Peacock is owned by the same company that owns USA. So no one would be fucking themselves right now. Smackdown can be added the next day. Then once CW is next day and Netflix has Raw next year, then it will all be worked out for people like Smark.

If USA and the CW network want to post it on their online apps like NWA does on the CW app, I’m fine with that too. As long as it’s posted the next day and I don’t have to have a cable subscription to use it.
